Some modal decision logic languages are proposed for knowledge representation in data mining through the notions of models and satisfiability. The models are collections of data tables consisting of a finite set of objects described by a finite set of attributes. Some relationships may exist between data tables in a collection and the modalities of our languages are interpreted with respect to these relations in Kripkean style semantics. The notion of fuzzy decision logic is also reviewed and combined with the modal decision logic. The combined logic is shown to be useful in the representation

In 2020–2021, a trial to recruit flat oysters was implemented at a longline farm in the central Adriatic, whereby the efficiency recruitment (n. oyster/dm2) of different suspended substrates was evaluated. Two lantern nets (50 cm diameter; 145 cm h) had different substrates composed of 8 mm wide wrinkled ribbon and empty oyster shells positioned in the upper levels of the lanterns. The tumbling evaluation and the presence of mud were also considered. The efficiency recruitment was similar between the wrinkled ribbon and the oyster shell. Abstract:
The friction force required to shear interface bonds of contacting metallic rough surfaces is calculated, taking into account the prestress condition of contacting asperities. The surfaces are modeled by a collection of spherical asperities with Gaussian height distribution. Previous analyses for adhesion force and contact load of such surfaces are used to obtain the static friction coefficient. It is shown that this coefficient is affected by material properties and surface topography, and that it actually depends on the external loading contrary to the classical law of friction.

The present work proposes an application of Soft Rough Set and its span for unsupervised keyword extraction. In recent times Soft Rough Sets are being applied in various domains, though none of its applications are in the area of keyword extraction. On the other hand, the concept of Rough Set based span has been developed for improved efficiency in the domain of extractive text summarization. In this work we amalgamate these two techniques, called Soft Rough Set based Span (SRS), to provide an effective solution for keyword extraction from texts. ABSTRACT Although the role that lipopolysaccharide (LPS) plays in the symbiosis between Sinorhizobium meliloti and alfalfa has been studied for over a decade, its function in this process remains controversial and poorly understood. This is largely due to a lack of mutants affected by its synthesis. In one of the definitive studies concerning this issue, Clover et al. (R. H. Clover, J. Kieber, and E. R. Signer, J. Bacteriol. 171:3961-3967, 1989) identified a series of mutants with putative LPS defects, judged them to be symbiotically proficient on Medicago sativa, and concluded that LPS might

The ad hoc routing protocol's design has received a huge attention due to the unpredictable and rapid mobility of a node. It is created dynamically without any infrastructure. In ad hoc each node is responsible for routing the information between them. To improve the performance of unused information and to overcome the overhead in maintaining this information the protocols were designed. MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Network) is the collection of wireless mobile nodes which can dynamically form a network. There are issues with broadcast storm like contention, collision and interference. They deteriorate performance of QoS. For setting a path, it is necessary to broadcast RRPs, which lead to consumption of bandwidth, congestion and contention. The aim of broadcasting is to decrease flooding.
