Seven genotypes, including 5 in the final stages of cultivar selection, were evaluated for their phenological development, yield, seed size, oil concentration and protein concentration in response to changes in sowing date and row spacing over 3 seasons, 1982-83, 1983-84and 1984-85. Genotype x sowing date interactions were detected for both phenological development and yield, particularly with the cultivar Sxy 59. The aim of the study was to compare the profitability of winter oilseed rape with two sowing methods: (row sowing – seed density 60 seeds per 1 m2 and spot sowing – seed density 40 seeds per 1 m2). The yield of rape seed was varied and was at the point sowing – 4.43 t/ha and row sowing – 5.24 t/ha. The income for the tested technologies ranged from 5914.20 PLN/ha (row sowing) and 4231.00 PLN/ha (spot sowing), and the difference was due to the yield of 1 ha. The largest share in the cost structure was the cost of fertilizers (33%), plant protection (27-30%) and machinery (31-32%).

North Dakota soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrill] management varies across the state, resulting in yield differences. Eight soybean seeding rates (starting at 197600 and increasing by 49400 live seed ha-1 increments) and row spacing (30 and 61 cm) were evaluated in 15 North Dakota environments in 2017-2018 to determine plant densities, seed yield, and plant loss, which were compared with soybean producer field data. The results of research on the agricultural technology of soybeans of the Debut variety are presented. The field experiment was conducted in typical conditions for the southern agricultural zone of the Amur region. It was found that cultivation with row spacing of 30 cm and the introduction of sulfoammophos 100 kg/ha provides an increase in the yield of soybean of the Debut variety by 5.5% than with row spacing of 15 cm; by 23% compared with the option without fertilizer and by 9% compared with the introduction of azofosk.
