This study aimed to assess the impact of physical training on heart rate variability (HRV) in male university ergo rowing athletes and middle- and long-distance track and field athletes. Ninety athletes, aged 19 to 25, underwent an intensive 8-week training program. HRV measurements were taken at baseline, after 4 weeks, and at the end of the 8 weeks using a Polar H10 strap.
