Abstract:
Koncepce územního rozvoje cyklostezek Bratislavského samosprávného kraje ve vztahu k Integrovanému dopravnímu systému a významným bodem cestovního ruchu (dále jen "koncepce rozvoje cyklostezek") představuje dokument, který slouží jako podklad pro pl.novaný rozvoj cyklistických tras a Terminálů integrované osobní dopravy v procesu aktualizace územně plánovací dokumentace regionu a dotčených měst a obcí. Koncepce rozvoje cyklostezek se skládá z analytické a návrhové části. Hlavní částí dokumentu je návrh trasování cyklistické dopravy formou samostatných cyklistických komunikací a cyklostezek k přestupním uzlům Integrovaného dopravního systému a cílům cestovního ruchu, návrh vybavenosti cyklistické dopravy jakož i Terminálů integrované osobní dopravy. Článek představuje koncepci rozvoje cyklostezek se zaměřením na její závěry a zároveň nabízí metodický návod pro vytváření obdobných koncepcí.

Abstract:
The topic of thesis is development of tourism in the region Czech Switzerland. The theoretical part deals with the processing of basic tourism information obtained on the basis of literature. The practical part was prepared on the basis of a field survey through a questionnaire based on a random method. For this survey, through open, semi-open and closed questions, obtain a picture of the actual demand and requirements of individual visitors. The results formed the basis for the determination of individual proposals for possible solutions for the development of tourism. Part of the proposal has been drawn up, the example calculations.

This thesis deals with possibilities of tourism development of mikroregion Nechanicko in region Hradec Kralove. The thesis includes analysis of the current region (geography, hydrography, climate, residents and transport) and tourist services and device (accommodation, attractions and events, refreshment). This analysis has been prepared from own investigation ofregion, region strategic plans and other documents. This analysis is a discription of eachvillage in region frompointofview of transport ofand social activities. From this analysis and individual interviews with a representative of each village was made SWOT analysis (Strenghts, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) of region. During analysis wereperformedinterviews with representatives of each village and some local bussinesmen about their products and services and how they to tourism with their products and services in region. It was also proposed several preffered axes. Some of thepriorities are developed in a part of proposed precautionand owen proposals precaution in parts of number 19. and 20. The last part of this thesis are owen proposal for cycling trips. There cycling trips are helped to advertising environmental tourism in this region.

Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to evaluate environmental education and environmental behavior for the development of the Usti Region and propose background to this issue. A partial objective is to determine the level of environmental education in secondary schools and among the public. The work consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is elaborated on the basis of scientific literature, using methods of analysis, synthesis and comparison. The practical part is based on qualitative and quantitative sociological survey. The quantitative survey was conducted through questionnaires among high school students and the public from the Usti Region. Qualitative research was conducted between actors involved in environmental education from the same region. In conclusion, the thesis is to evaluate the environmental education in secondary schools and environmental behavior among the public in the region and proposed recommendations.

The emphasis is placed on the business environment of Pribram, predominantly on the effects it has on the welfare of the region and its inhabitants. The applied part of the thesis consists of the analysis of the region's most prominent companies and traces the manners in which they influence life in Pribram and its surroundings.

Práce rozlišuje palestinské uprchlické tábory na základě jejich geografické polohy v regionu Blízkého východu a jejich správního postavení v dané hostitelské zemi, neboť to jsou základní faktory určující jejich ekonomickou situaci. Abstract:
This diploma thesis focuses on development of tourism in terms of regional development on example of region of Slovacko. The primary objective of my thesis is to identify main challenges and barriers of further development and to provide recommendation and suggestions for development of tourism in the region of Slovacko. The first part of my thesis introduces the general role of tourism in regional development. Here, I describe conditions and background of tourist development both in the Czech Republic and in the European Union. As tourism is a significant part of national economics I pay attention to relation between development of tourism and national economy. Furthermore, there is a definition of the Concept of national tourism policy which specifies different authorities dealing with the management of tourism at various levels. The second part of the thesis deals with the region of Slovacko, its definition and basic characteristics with specific emphasis on the region's high tourism potential. The practical part analyses a role of the Association of entrepreneurs of tourism in the Hodonin district. There is a characterization and evaluation of the association's activities and projects that have been approved and implemented in the region of Slovacko. Based on my questionnaire survey given to the members of this association I try to find out what the major barriers of the tourism development are and how to reduce the obstacles. The conclusion summarizes the main barriers and limits and on the basis of the analysis I formulate recommendations and suggestions for further activities in the region.

The diploma thesis focuses on recreational cycling because it is regarded as one of possibilities how to strengthen tourism in the region of North-East Bohemia. In the theoretical part there are presented basic terms and definitions connected with the recreational cycling, also there are mentioned legislative foundations. Then, the diploma thesis presents selected institutional documents, which prove the importance of the recreational cycling. Also there are included basic facts about important organizations concerning recreational cycling and about the region of North-East Bohemia itself. The practical part focuses on existing cycling and complementary infrastructure of the region. The last chapter analyses the infrastructure and especially it provides suggestions and possible projects that would support further development of recreational cycling in the region of North-East Bohemia.

Abstract:
The thesis contains an evaluation of LAG as a tool for development of the rural region. The default hypothesis is that the LAG Říčansko has of its region and the influence of this effect can be evaluated positively. It followed the trends and developments in the field of rural development with a focus on the LEADER approach. Furthermore, for the final evaluation analyzes the structure of the LAG, the selection of supported projects and the implementation of cooperation projects. Part of the work is devoted to the characteristics and the current situation in the region LAG Říčansko. As a basis for the design of projects in problematic areas include a description of activities of some foreign LAG in Germany and Austria. The aim is achieved through interviews with workers LAG Říčansko and compares its structure and focus of the recommended and mandatory requirement for LAG. It was also the focus of supported projects compared with regard to problem areas in the region. The main part of the job evaluation LAG was a questionnaire survey among inhabitants of the region, partners and holders LAG regional brand Zápraží original product, which was focused on knowledge of the activities of the LAG and satisfaction with the treatment. Economic efficiency projects LAG was assessed using a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) of the selected project. Due to the nature of the project, its methodology was amended and as a result of its work is proposed for evaluating the effectiveness of cooperative projects using space CBA cost utility analysis (CUA). Knowledge about the work of LAG Říčansko are summarized in the conclusion that the MAS Říčansko has on the region a positive effect. Conclusion also includes the realization that this fact is only sustainable if the LAG will respond to changes in the region and its activities will involve local stakeholders in all sectors in sufficient representation.

Abstract:
Cieľom učebnice je priblížiť študentom rozdiely medzi regionálnym rastom a regionálnym rozvojom, aby pochopili rôzne interpretácie ekonomického rastu a rozvoja v rôznych teoretických konceptoch a ako sa vyvíjali v priebehu času a ako boli tieto teoretické koncepty premietané do konkrétnych politických opatrení (a prečo niektoré z nich zlyhávajú). Obsahovo ju tvoria tri logické celky. Prvý celok je venovaný vysvetleniu základných pojmov ako je regionálny rast a rozvoj, konceptu regionálnej konkurencieschopnosti a faktorom, ktoré ju ovplyvňujú a príčinám a dôsledkom regionálnych disparít. Druhý najrozsiahlejší celok zase zahŕňa vybrané teoretické a koncepčné prístupy, ktoré vysvetľujú vzájomné pôsobenie faktorov rozvoja a ich súvislosť s regionálnym rozvojom a regionálnymi disparitami. Regionálny rast a rozvoj vysvetľuje z pohľadu neoklasického prístupu, ktorého nedostatky neskôr vyústili do dominancie keynesiánskeho a polarizačného prístupu k regionálnemu rastu a rozvoju. Riešenie nedostatkov týchto zase priniesli neoliberálne a inštitucionálne prístupy, ktoré majú dominantný vplyv na charakter regionálnej politiky aj v súčasnosti. Prečo práve teórie? Lebo svet sám o sebe (a tým aj ekonomický systém), bez toho, aby sme sa naň pozreli, je chaotický. Až naša schopnosť modelového zmýšľania, teda identifikácie opakujúcich sa vzorov, nám umožňuje orientovať sa v ňom. Tieto vzorce sú abstrakciou reality, ktorá nám pomáha zorientovať sa vo svete a ekonomickom systéme tak, aby sme pochopili príčinno-dôsledkové súvislosti prevládajúce v tomto systéme, čo nám umožní vyhnúť sa krokom (napr. politickým rozhodnutiam), ktoré by mohli viesť k nežiaducim dôsledkom a pomôže nastaviť také opatrenia, aby sme zabezpečili spoločensky prijateľný výsledok. Okrem toho, že vysvetľujú „ako funguje svet“, nám teórie rozvoja zároveň poskytujú „recepty“ na tvorbu politík a konkrétnych opatrení na jeho ovplyvňovanie s cieľom dosiahnuť spoločensky žiaduce efekty. Práve tretí celok prináša historický priebeh aplikácie týchto teoretických a koncepčných prístupov v praxi, konkrétne v regionálnej politike Európskej únie. Okrem pojmu teória v učebnici používame aj pojmy koncepcia a model s porovnateľným významom.

Abstract:
Vidiek je územie, ktoré je organickou súčasťou regionálneho priestoru. Má svoje charakteristické črty, ktorými sú prirodzená krajina so špecifickým využitím najmä odvetviami primárneho sektora, nízka hustota obyvateľstva, rozdrobená sídelná štruktúra, diverzifikovaná ekonomická štruktúra, sociálna kohézia a bohatstvo kultúrnych tradícií. Má však aj problémy vyplývajúce práve z nízkej hustoty obyvateľstva a nízkej intenzity ekonomických aktivít. Vidiecke regióny a vidiecke obce ťažko zachytávajú globálne rozvojové impulzy, dostávajú sa do rozvojových problémov. Vzniká priestorová nerovnováha, ktorá neumožňuje efektívne využívať územný kapitál vidieka a vytvára tlak na verejné zdroje. Rozvoj vidieka je v ekonomickom, sociálnom aj environmentálnom zmysle významnou témou jednotlivých súčastí regionálnej vedy, ale aj ekonomickej a politickej praxe. Autori sa v tejto knihe pokúsili zhrnúť svoje poznatky o faktoroch, procesoch, politikách a nástrojoch týkajúcich sa ekonomického a sociálneho rozvoja vidieka. Predkladaná učebnica načrtáva teoretické východiská, identifikuje rozvojový potenciál ako aj rozvojové problémy vidieka. Naznačuje spôsoby ich riešenia vrátane metodických nástrojov na ich praktické riešenie. Sú to samozrejme rámcové problémy omnoho komplexnejšej problematiky, ktorá je predmetom ďalšieho skúmania. Je určená pre študentov Slovenskej poľnohospodárskej univerzity v Nitre, ktorí študujú predmet „Rozvoj vidieka“, pre študentov iných univerzít a vysokých škôl, ktorých daná problematiky zaujíma, ale aj pre pracovníkov verejnej správy na všetkých úrovniach riadenia.

Abstract:
In the past few years, several research projects focused on the barriers of inter-municipal cooperation were carried out in the Czech Republic and abroad. As the research results reflect the respective local and regional specifics, the results and conclusions are diametrically different, depending on particular conditions in the respective country. The main objective of the paper is to analyse the uneven socio-economic development of the municipalities in the South Bohemian Region, as an example of the development of cooperation between the municipalities of the South Bohemian Region in relation to the economic background of municipalities. The hypothesis is that the economically stronger municipalities have better conditions for establishment and development of cooperation of municipalities. The theoretical part consists of research findings related to the problems of regional development and cooperation of municipalities. Furthermore, various methods are introduced, which are applied in the context of municipal analysis. The research of municipality cooperation was carried out by the author in 2007-2018. The results of the research confirmed the assumption of uneven development of the territory because economically weaker municipalities have really worse conditions for the establishment and development of cooperation between municipalities.

Abstract:
In order to address the coherence between intensive construction by development companies and the need for capacity building of the corresponding infrastructure, which is by law provided by the municipality, a new act of legislation was adopted in the Slovak Republic with effect from 1 January 2016. The Local Development Fee Act is meant to be a tool that would enable funding and support building of civic infrastructure and amenities. The aim of the paper is to analyze how the fee was implemented in municipalities. Due to its facultative character - the municipality may or may not adopt it by a generally binding regulation (local ordinance) - it can be assumed that it has been implemented first in larger towns and cities and/or municipalities within the metropolitan areas of these cities. This is where the most intensive residential housing construction takes place. Small municipalities and peripheral municipalities would arguably not apply it, as it could eliminate the interest in housing construction in their territory. Their aim is to retain or attract new residents and investors. To verify this, two hypotheses are set: 1. The local development fee has been implemented by large towns and municipalities in their metropolitan areas. 2. Boroughs of Bratislava applied the maximum amount stipulated by law when levying the fee. The results of the research brought confirmation of the hypotheses as well as some interesting facts.

Abstract:
Cities are the backbone of the settlement structure and leaders in local and regional development. To fulfill this important role, they must generate sufficient and sustainable resources to improve the quality of life of their inhabitants and maintain their position in the territory. These resources also include funding. These can be generated in a multi structure. The aim of the paper is to identify indebtedness in urban development. What is the role of debt: "Can Slovakia's regional cities finance sustainable development on the basis of the existing financing model without increasing their total debt?" The study was performed on the basis of 5 indicators by comparative analysis. The results confirmed that the 8 largest/regional cities in Slovakia in the period 2005-2017 after the financial crisis they began to reduce debt and use other resources for development - mainly European grants and extra-budgetary funds (reserve fund). These are resources. which may have their limits in the future

Abstract:
The aim of the presented paper is to reveal the territorial differentiation of the use of state regional development support programs financed by the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic in 2013-2018. Territorial differentiation is examined through three indicators: the share of financial allocation of programs, the share of the number of implemented projects and the financial allocation of programs per capita for individual regions of the Czech Republic. The results of the analysis show that the total amount of financial support for regions varies in the relevant years depending on the nature of regional problems and the time-limited existence of some programs. It was also found that South Bohemian Region which received the largest part of the total allocation in the period, even in terms of per capita, had the largest absorption capacity of the programs. The justification lies in the relatively high support for the remediation of flood damage after 2013. In contrast, the Karlovy Vary region, which is characterized by the localization of a number of "state-supported regions", received a relatively small amount of support compared to other regions (related to size of the area).
