Cynipid gall wasps on Mount Rtanj were faunistically investigated during the period from 2012 to 2015. In the course of these investigations, a total of 30 species were recorded, belonging to two tribes (Cynipini and Diplolepidini) and eight genera (<em>Andricus</em>, 19 species; <em>Cynips</em>, 3; <em>Diplolepis</em>, 2; <em>Neuroterus</em>, 2; <em>Aphelonyx</em>, 1; <em>Dryocosmus</em>, 1; <em>Biorhiza</em>, 1 and <em>Pseudoneuroterus</em>, 1). For all of the recorded species, the localities, dates and hosts on which they were found on Mt. Rtanj are given.

Background/Aim. The beneficial effects of medicinal plants are well-known from the ancient times. However, expansion of phytopharmacy and phytotherapy occured during the last decades. Medicinal plants can absorb environmental contaminants from the ground and consequently may cause harmful effects on human health. Quality control usually comprises standard methodology which includes macroscopic identification and examination of active ingredients. Additionaly, there is a permanent need to control the level of pollutants in herbs, with a particular attention to the level of toxic metals. In this

The quantitative structure-retention relationship (QSRR) model was employed to predict the retention indices, using four molecular descriptors selected by factor analysis and a genetic algorithm. The work is concerned with the possibility of preparing kombucha beverage from sweetened winter savory (local name Rtanj tea) inoculated with the pellicle in a quantity of 2 -51 in the vessels (glass containers) volume of 2 - 6 l. It was found that the process lasts a few days (2 - 5) longer than the traditional process of biotransformation of black tea into kombucha. It was also concluded that the rate of the process depends mostly on the volume container: medium ratio. The study includes an analysis of vegetation cover in the period from 2000 to 2023 in the Sokobanjska Moravica basin. The vegetation analysis was carried out using the Normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). The application of this method is reflected in the detection of areas where forest vegetation has been degraded, in the detection of illegal deforestation and in the determination of changes in land cover. The aim of the work is to detect changes in vegetation cover in the catchment area. The NDVI results were obtained by processing Landsat 5 and Landsat 8 satellite scenes in the QG

Abstract In this paper, we will be discussing how we solved a legacy seismic issue using pragmatic geophysics techniques- from seismic acquisition, through processing and interpretation. The legacy seismic had an inherent seismic acquisition issue as it was a streamer acquisition acquired along the geologic structural strike direction. With the legacy seismic it was difficult to mature and explore the especially the deeper opportunities in the field and not allowing for full realization of the hydrocarbon potentials in the area. To solve these pending issues, we had a campaign to acquire one o
