Abstract:
Commercial berry production is an attractive industry worldwide, including in Romania because berries are a rich source of bioactive compounds with antioxidant capacity, thus becoming the most important functional and nutraceutical foods in our diet. The aim of our work was to characterize two different species, Saskatoon berry (Amelanchier alnifolia Nutt., Rosaceae) and blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L., Ericaceae), from the point of view of total phenols and anthocyanin as well as of antioxidant capacity depending on their harvesting time. The analyzed cultivars ‘Ruben’ and ‘Duke’ were cultivated in the North-West of Romania, the first cultivar has been officially introduced in Romania in 2018. The results show that ‘Ruben’ cultivar is richer in bioactive compounds compared with ‘Duke’ cultivars. The level of total phenols of ‘Ruben’ cultivar was 297.937 ± 4.30 and 347.412 ± 14.13 mg GAE/100 g fw (fresh weight) at early and full ripening time, respectively. The highest anthocyanins content was found in ‘Ruben’ cultivar (410.659 ± 52.88 mg/100 g fw) at full ripening time. Also, the high values of antioxidant capacity determined by four different methods (DPPH, FRAP, ABTS, CUPRAC) was recorded in the case of cultivar ‘Ruben’. Both blueberry cultivars ‘Duke’ and ‘Ruben’ are rich sources in bioactive compounds such as phenolics, especially anthocyanins. The blueberries harvested at full ripening period provided the highest level of total phenols and anthocyanins compounds. These compounds act as powerful antioxidants and thus they could improve the health status of the human body, or can be used by food and nutraceutical manufacturers.

Abstract:
This study has the objective of examining and analyzing disputes over the ownership of the Bensu brand and legal protection efforts in the Geprek Bensu case against I Am Geprek Bensu, which in this study discusses cases of intellectual property rights in the trademark field. This research uses a normative juridical approach with secondary, primary and tertiary data. The results of this study are that: the Geprek Bensu dispute originated from business similarities between Geprek Bensu owned by Ruben Onsu and I Am Geprek Bensu owned by PT Ayam Geprek Benny Sujono where Ruben claimed Bensu was his business; the Bensu case is that there was trademark protection out of good faith and the registration system at that time adhered to first to file, which meant that the first recipient was the one who was protected; there are many similarities between the two types of brands Bensu and Ruben were judged to have plagiarized I Am Geprek Bensu, and the Supreme Court considered the case and decided that Ruben Onsu's appeal was rejected

Abstract:
Brand registration is very important for business people. A brand is one of the distinguishing entities between the business activities of business actors. The problem occurs when business actors already have a trademark which is then well known in the community but in fact they have not registered the trademark, as experienced by Ruben Samuel Onsu with his Geprek chicken business. However, in its development, it turns out that there are other business actors using the same mark but have registered the mark. This research was conducted using a normative method through a statutory approach and concepts. This research examines the Supreme Court's decision rejecting the appeal from Ruben Samuel Onsu and analyzes the urgency and procedures for trademark registration. Based on the research results, trademark law in Indonesia is regulated in Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications. The terms and procedures for application for registration of a mark are regulated in Article 4 - Article 8 and further regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. registration of a mark and being recognized as the legal owner of the mark and rights to the mark are obtainedafter the mark is registered. Ruben Onsu's Bensu mark was declared invalid because Ruben Onsu was not the first party to register the mark, and the Supreme Court decided to cancel all trademark applications made by Ruben Onsu.

Abstract:
A trademark dispute between Benny Sujono and Ruben Onsu regarding the use of the name "Bensu" in their brand led to a dispute over trademark ownership rights. Benny Sujono, the original owner of the "I Am Geprek Bensu" brand, sued Ruben Onsu at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court regarding the use of the "Bensu" frill in the "Geprek Bensu" brand owned by Ruben Onsu. This dispute reflects the importance of protecting intellectual property rights, including trademarks, in the business world. This case involves a court and a legal process that will determine the ownership rights of the "I Am Geprek Bensu" and "Geprek Bensu" trademarks, as well as whether Ruben Onsu's use of the trademark violates Benny Sujono's ownership rights. The results of this study explain that the settlement of intellectual property rights disputes over the culinary business brand Geprek Bensu with I Am Geprek Bensu based on the Commercial District Court has been decided by decision Number 57/Pdt. Abstract:

Mähönen, Heini, and Anna Klara Måseide. Nordlit 9, no. 1 (July 1, 2005): 27. http://dx.doi.org/10.7557/13.1872.

Full text
Abstract:

Abstract:
Ruben Östlund’s film Force Majeure (2014) was mostly received as a depiction of the crisis of masculinity. And it is, but that particular theme is also placed within a larger context concerning questions of value, understanding, order, and control, questions asked not only on a thematic level but also through cutting, framing, and the use of camera views. Not accepting any simple dichotomy between form and meaning, Force Majeure places itself firmly in an avant- garde and modernist tradition. Thereby the film is also related to this tradition’s ambition of investigating Western thought, knowledge and art anew, problematising given forms of rational thinking in order for something new to emerge. In the wake of World War II it was, for thinkers like Adorno, Foucault, Stockhausen, and Boulez, seen as unavoidable and urgent to deconstruct the conventions and norms that had made Auschwitz possible. It is still urgent. This article takes its starting point in the connections between avant-garde serialism in music, Foucault’s serialist methods of research and Deleuze’s theories of modernist film, in order to grasp how the aesthetics of Force Majeure continues to deconstruct.

Abstract:
In Reply.— Dr Ruben raises concerns about our publication in this journal on language growth in children with expressive language delay.1 Ruben's position is that hearing loss accounts "for much of the expressive language delay seen in children at this age" and that, because we did not include that variable in our study, this "brings into question any conclusions drawn from their data." We are pleased that Ruben has raised the issue of the role of conductive hearing loss because we have gathered relevant data since the publication he questions.
