<strong>Objective </strong> &ndash; to explore the scientific school of the famous landscape architect, dendrologist, doctor of biological sciences professor Leonid Ivanovich Rubtsov. <strong>Material and methods.</strong> Creative biographies of L.I. Rubtsov&rsquo;s post graduate students have been analyzed. The historical- scientific method and method of interviews were used. <strong>Results.</strong> The theoretical scientific developments of L.I. Rubtsov, set out in unique monographs, and his ideas are implemented practically during the construction a number of botanical gardens and parks were investigated. Professor Rubtsov worked fruitfully for 50 years in the field of dendrology and green building. In M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine Leonid Ivanovich was the author and the head of the work on the arboretum creation. In 1972 the Botanical Garden was granted the status of a monument of landscape art of national importance. This became possible thanks to works of L.I. Rubtsov. His knowledge and great experience he passed on to his students, who eventually became good experts in dendrology and landscape architects. Professor L.I. Rubtsov was the head of 8 post graduate students (Candidates of Sciences): namely 3 Candidates of Architecture (I.D. Rodichkin, V.G. Maevskaya, V.I. Meshkova) and 5 Candidates of Biological Sciences (M.I. Orlov, Yu.K. Kirychek, M.F. Kaplunenko, B.K. Gryshko-Bogmenko, N.F. Kolybina). <strong>Conclusions.</strong> Erudition, a wide range of interests and style of work of Leonid Ivanovich were of decisive importance for attracting young talents and for many years determined their creative ways. Abstract:
&lt;p&gt;The article presents a review analysis of V.V.Rubtsov's monograph Socio-Genetic Psychology of Educational Interactions. Selected Articles, Speeches, Projects. The author examines the most important results of the implementation of the research program of V.V.Rubtsov's socio-genetic psychology. The author believes that V.V. Rubtsov's fundamental research has confirmed the innovative and revolutionary nature of developmental education proposed by V.V. Davydov and D.B. Elkonin. Also, these studies helped Rubtsov to put forward several important ideas for modern educational policy. These include the development of the Russian School of the Future concept (together with Y.V. Gromyko, V.A. Guruzhapov, and A.A. Margolis), social policy for better childhood conditions, the development of inclusive education for children with special needs, the education for future research psychologists, and the introduction of digital technologies in education. By investigating various forms of learning interaction in the system of developmental education, V.V. Rubtsov clarified and concretized the basic principles of cultural-historical psychology, as well as highlighted the most important problems that require further solution.&lt;/p&gt;

Abstract:
The article, written by Brazilian researchers, aims to outline the main ideas of Vitaly Vladimirovich Rubtsov, one of the most prominent modern Russian educational researchers. The authors present Rubtsov’s main theoretical and methodological contributions, particularly those in the field of education, and reflect on the origins and evolution of his – still ongoing — research work. The article consists of two parts. In the first one, the authors describe Rubtsov’s research path, highlighting his academic and political acting in different scientific areas which reaches way beyond the boundaries of his native country. In the second part, the text describes Rubtsov’s ideas concerning the following three independent dimensions: principles, practices and possibilities of cultural-historical theory in organizing learning activity in educational settings. The text discusses Rubtsov’s work, emphasizing the concept of interaction; then it analyses the relationship between these ideas and research practices developed by the scientist, aiming to show how the concept of interaction becomes real in joint activity. In the final part, the authors describe Rubtsov’s propositions concerning the model of school education based on the principles and practices which he developed in his works.

Redkova, Evgenia S. "The Concept of “Genre” in the Scientific Heritage of Feodosy Rubtsov." Journal of Siberian Federal University. Humanities & Social Sciences 15, no. 1 (2022): 95–102. http://dx.doi.org/10.17516/1997-1370-0879.

Abstract:
Professor of the Leningrad State Conservatory composer Feodosy Antonovich Rubtsov (1904-1986) entered the history of Russian musicology as the author of the original concept of the structure of scales of folk songs. The scientist formulated main positions in monographs “Intonation Relations in the Songs of Slavs” (1962) and “The principles of mode construction in Russian Folk Songs” (1964). Comprehension of the concept of “genre”, the definition of genre features of traditional folk songs is a little-known side of Rubtsov’s scientific heritage. The study of archival documents (in particular, the transcripts of the report “Principles for Determining Genres of Folk Songs”, which was made in 1966 at the Leningrad department of the Union of Composers at the scientific conference “Theoretical Problems of Musical Forms and Genres”) shows that the scientist formulated a number of positions that were relevant for the 1960–1970. “Genre” is a genus and species concept, multi-level concept. The main criterion for determining the genre is the function, the stylistic features and the type of form are important too. Rubtsov noted that the genre system of folklore is capable of renewal, and the characteristic property of the genres of musical folklore lies in their ability in a certain context to act as a function of another genre
