Abstract:
In modern conditions, one of the promising areas of diversification of the rural economy in the Transcarpathian region is the rapid development of rural tourism. This is largely due to the concentration of unique natural and climatic, historical, cultural, and national-ethnic resources in rural areas. The assigning of tourism as one of the important priorities of rural economic development in decentralisation has intensified research to study the main trends in rural local tourism markets, the efficiency of tourism and recreational resources, and the level of tourism infrastructure, the quality of which creates an integrated tourism product to meet needs of tourists. The research aims to analyse and assess the level of development of functional tourism infrastructure and its impact on the efficiency of local rural tourism markets, the quality of tourism services, and outline promising areas for its development. By the purpose of the article, considerable attention is paid to the analysis of the existing network of health resorts, tourist and recreational facilities that make up the material and technical base and infrastructure of tourism. Given that the most popular type of tourism in the region is rural green tourism, the paper clarifies the main factors that determine its rapid development. Much attention is paid to the analysis of factors that negatively affect the development of tourist infrastructure. It is proved that the weakest link in the infrastructure chain of the market of tourist services is the state of development of “soft” infrastructure. The perspective directions of the development of “soft” infrastructure of rural tourism are outlined, focusing on the development of innovation-institutional, innovation-organisational, information-communicative, and security components. It is proved that the development of “soft” tourist infrastructure is an important area of diversification and modernisation of the rural economy, which in combination with socio-mental modernisation can ensure sustainable development of rural areas of Transcarpathia

Abstract:
Abstract Background In recent years, rural tourism has become an important way to implement the Rural Revitalization Strategy in China, and traditional villages have become an important type of rural tourism destination. On the one hand, how to improve the attraction of traditional rural tourism, on the other hand, how to meet the escalating experience needs of rural tourists, so as to make the sustainable development of traditional rural tourism and promote rural rejuvenation, is an urgent problem for traditional rural tourism stakeholders. Especially in the increasingly competitive rural tourism destinations, how to cultivate loyal tourists has become a major problem faced by tourism destinations. This paper puts forward the following assumptions about the emotional work of rural tourism practitioners H1: the surface behavior dimension of emotional labor is positively correlated with work pressure. H2: the deep behavioral dimension of emotional labor is negatively correlated with work stress. H3: the surface behavior dimension of emotional labor has a positive impact on job burnout. H4: the deep behavioral dimension of emotional labor has a negative impact on job burnout Research Objects and Methods From the perspective of psychology, taking the “first behavior result” of tourists in traditional villages and rural tourism destinations as the research object, and drawing lessons from the theory of self-determination and psychological ownership, this paper constructs and verifies the research model formed by tourists' experience perceived loyalty in rural tourism destination scenic spots. Thus, it reveals the interactive mechanism between the antecedents and behaviors, behaviors and results of traditional rural tourism destination tourists and rural tourism attraction, experience perception participation and loyalty attraction. According to the theoretical hypothesis, we use Amos to construct the formation model of experience perceived loyalty of rural tourism destination tourists, and use maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) to estimate the parameters of the model. The model includes 7 dimensions and 32 observation indicators. The perception dimension of experience value includes three sub dimensions: rural tourism service value perception, rural tourism emotional value perception and rural tourism resources and environment perception. The upper layer of these three sub dimensions constitutes the general dimension of “rural tourism experience value perception”. 1031 questionnaires were distributed, 945 valid questionnaires were distributed, and the effective rate was 91.7%. A field survey was conducted on many traditional rural tourism destinations in China. At the same time, the emotional behavior of tourism practitioners in various regions was investigated. The questionnaire is designed to objectively evaluate the individual's sense of self-worth or social ability. The original scale consists of 32 items. Helmreich and Stapp (1974) modified the scale and divided it into two independent 16 item scales to shorten the test time. The following criteria are followed in the composition of the two scales: the correlation between the subscale and the total scale is equivalent, the average scores between the scales and between different genders are equal, the score distribution is equal, and the corresponding factor structure. The correlation coefficient between the two subscales and the 32 item version of the total scale is 0.97, and the correlation coefficient between them is 0.87. Many researchers using tsbi only use one of the subscales. The 32 item version of tsbi factor analysis produced a large factor item and four theoretically related factor items: confidence, dominance, social ability, social withdrawal or relationship with authority. The subjects answered these statements on a 5-level scale, with a total score ranging from 0 to 64. Results The perceived value of rural tourism resources has a significant effect on the attractiveness and loyalty of traditional tourism resources. In this process, experience value perception plays a positive intermediary role between resource attraction and tourist loyalty. The attraction of traditional village rural tourism services has a positive impact on tourist loyalty. The higher the service attraction, the higher the tourist loyalty. However, the indirect impact of service attractiveness on tourist loyalty is not significant, mainly because the value perception of tourists caused by high service attractiveness is not necessarily very high. The attraction of traditional rural tourism environment has an indirect negative impact on tourist loyalty. However, the correlation analysis in Table 3 shows that there is a significant positive correlation between environmental attractiveness and tourist loyalty. The self-control of tourism employees was negatively correlated with emotion perception, emotion evaluation, emotion control and emotion regulation reflex (P < 0.01), and negatively correlated with emotion regulation self-efficacy (P < 0.05), which had nothing to do with the applied emotion strategies. The self-care ability and emotion regulation ability were significantly positively correlated with each dimension (P < 0.01); Encouraging autonomy and emotion regulation ability were significantly positively correlated with each dimension (P < 0.01); The ability of self-control and emotion regulation were significantly negatively correlated with each dimension (P < 0.01). Conclusion Traditional villages should give full play to the advantages of traditional rural tourism resources, maintain the “countryside” and rural authenticity, and enhance the attraction of tourism resources. When developing rural tourism in traditional villages, we should improve the service attraction and pay attention to the needs of tourists' experience value. Considering the different characteristics of the spatial distance between traditional rural tourism and other types of tourism destinations, traditional rural tourism destinations should create a rural tourism environment conducive to tourists' spatial perception. The emotional regulation of tourism service personnel is also conducive to bring positive feedback to rural tourism.

Abstract:
Integration as a Tool of Destination Management - The Case of Rural and Rural Fringe AreasIt is well known that the organizational structure of the Slovenian tourism industry is changing. Tourist companies are merging, but unfortunately only a few companies empowered their capital structure and market position, so in a way we can talk about an oligopoly. The situation does not favor rural and rural fringe areas, where an underdeveloped tourism economy cannot represent a solid source of income for many tourist farms and other tourist companies. Integration is a scientifically and professionally proven method for empowering businesses. Integrative destination management, which provides the tool for tourist destinations development, aims at sustainable tourism where the community collectively develops and runs the tourism economy. This paper examines the possibilities for the development of business integration as a basis for the successful implementation of destination management in the Mislinja Valley. A survey has been conducted, where two thirds of the tourist companies in the area were investigated in relation to the destination management and tourism opportunities in the area. Analysis shows that the business environment accepts the idea of integration as a tool for empowering the regional tourism industry, however only interest integration appeares to be acceptable at this time.

Abstract:
Rural tourism is now seen as an important direction of development of the regional economy. From the perspective of sustainable development rural tourism affects the economic, social and environmental aspects of the regional and local economy. Rural tourism is closely linked with agrotourism, eco-tourism, natural tourism and so on. Sustainable rural tourism can be realized by applying logistic, geographic and marketing approaches as components of sustainable development strategies. Logistics approach is determined by logistic potential of resource base of rural tourism and appropriate tourist flows regulation. In this context in the article the concept of tourism capacity or capacity of the resource base of rural tourism is used. The problem of the definition of tourism pressure on the resource base of rural tourism, particularly in natural landscapes is disclosed. Unlike environmental and recrealogical sciences, which stop at the capacity definition of the resource base of tourism, tourism logistics compares this figure with the existing tourist flows and accordingly determines the safe way of tourism management to ensure its sustainable nature. It was shown that these strategies boil down to two basic types – the further development of tourism in a particular area or limit such activities to conserve the resource base of tourism. Recreational (travel) load is the indicator that reflects the impact of tourism on the resource base of tourism (especially landscape complex), expressed by the number of tourists or tourists-days per area unit or per tourist site for the certain period of time (day, month, season year). There are actual, allowable (the maximum) and destructive (dangerous) types of travel load. The latter can lead recreational area or resource base of rural tourism to destruction. Thus, depending on the intensity of tourism resource base using in rural tourism it may change – according to tourist consumption. Large number of tourists affects the entire range of recreational destinations and their individual components. The most vulnerable part of the environment in this sense is vegetation, except that significant changes may occur with soil, water bodies, air and so on. The geographic dimension of the problem of rural tourism sustainable development includes the concept of zoning, ie the division of the territory, offering to develop rural tourism in several zones with different modes of travel usage – from a total ban (in protected areas) for complete freedom with transitional stages, involving various limit degrees in the development of rural tourism. Marketing approach reflects the application of the curve R. Butler to the stages of development of rural tourism destinations with the release of such steps as: research, involvement, development, consolidation, stagnation (also called “saturation”), revival or decline. Shown the models that link the stage of resource base tourist development (under “Curve Butler”), strength of tourism consumption the magnitude of such effects (eg weak (disperse) impact in large scale, strong (concentrated) impact in large scale, strong (concentrated) impact in small scale, weak (disperse) impact in small scale), dynamics of tourism development at the territory.

Abstract:
This paper presents findings relating to the territorial processes underlying the distribution and location of P2P accommodation in rural parts of Catalonia by establishing a system for classifying rural municipalities based on the volume and growth rate of the supply of this tourist accommodation, its share of the total supply of tourist accommodation, the pressure on the local population, and the function of this supply of accommodation in the regional tourism context. According to the findings, there are three distinct types of rural municipality: (a) Rural municipalities where the volume and growth of the supply of this accommodation are striking, these municipalities are located in the coastal hinterland and in high mountain areas, both of which enjoy high levels of tourism. This supply of accommodation plays a key role in the expansion of the areas of influence of well-established tourist destinations, (b) rural municipalities where this supply of accommodation presents an average volume and growth rate, located in inland areas of Catalonia and in high mountain regions with non-mass tourism development models specializing in rural tourism. This supply is helping boost tourism by expanding and diversifying the range of accommodation, and (c) rural municipalities where no tourist accommodation was available before the arrival of P2P accommodation. These are municipalities in inland areas with a strong agricultural presence, where P2P accommodation is paving the way for tourism.

Abstract:
Current geopolitical changes and trends in socio-economic development increase the importance and prospects of development of domestic tourism. Emerging opportunities are significant not only for well-known destinations and tourist products, but also for tourism products and routes that by their attractiveness is competitive with the objects of mass tourism demand. Considering the possibilities of development of weekend tourism, flashpacker and trailering, can be concluded that the sector of rural tourism in all its diversity, can attract a significant part of the tourist flow. At present, rural tourism is not a mass leisure activity. Researches of needs and interests of tourists are known. However, there are no researches revealing assessment of the prospects of existing or potential rural tourism projects. With that, it should be emphasized that they are not only important for investors or business leaders, but also for tourism administrations as a tool to identify barriers or areas of support of rural tourism projects. Rural tourism - one of the most famous and popular forms of recreation. Many experts note its ability to compete with the leaders of the global tourism - beach and cultural tourism. Stavropol Krai of the Russian Federation is region with high level of agricultural development and rich touristic and recreational potential. Development of private sector in agriculture industry, aspiration of small and large private companies to diversify their activities by expanding non-agricultural segment caused the formation and development of rural tourism. Variety of tourism resources and cultural heritage of Stavropol region allowed entrepreneurs to create different tourist products in the segment of rural recreation. In the current context the formation of rural tourism industry in the Stavropol region is the rightful issue. The author has conducted marketing research to study the attitude of agriculture entities in Stavropol region to engaging in tourist activities. The data obtained show the positive attitude of agriculture entities of the region to the tourist activity. However, more than 89% of respondents consider it necessary to develop a state policy in the field of rural tourism at the federal and regional levels.

Abstract:
Local communities are the most valuable assets for a tourist destination; therefore, their perceptions of tourism constitute a crucial pillar for designing tourism development strategies that promote sustainable development. The success of tourism development in a rural setting depends on securing the support and active participation of stakeholders, in particular the community. It is important for planners to gather the perception of local communities about the impacts of tourism when planning the development of tourism. The aim of this study was to learn about the rural community’s perceived benefits associated with tourism development; and furthermore, to examine their attitude towards tourism development in their residential surroundings. Data was collected with the aim of gathering the community’s viewpoint, in particular their perception and attitude, on tourism development in a rural region, South Africa. The findings specify that the Local Destination Management Organisation (LDMO) and other role players should formulate development strategies that contribute towards creating employment opportunities and to develop an inclusive economy that will enable the local community to benefit through tourism development.

Tourism is a rewarding sector for several countries as it presents opportunities for growth and development. While tourism attractions are predominantly located in either a rural or an urban destination, literature lacks comparative research about experiences in these two contexts. The purpose of this study was to compare tourists’ experiences of visiting a rural or an urban destination in South Africa. Data were conveniently obtained from 401 tourists who visited either one of two rural, or one of two selected urban tourist destinations. This study found significant differences in tourist perceptions for escape and peace of mind. Tourists felt more strongly/positive that they were escaping when visiting a rural tourism destination than when visiting an urban tourism destination. However, the study also revealed that tourists felt more secure and safe and that their privacy was prioritised (peace of mind) at an urban tourism destination than at a rural tourism destination. Tourism destination managers and governments may use the findings of the study to improve the tourist experience and promote a competitive platform for the tourism destination to attract more tourists.

Abstract:
The current research was motivated by observed particularities of local communities and the necessity of local rural economy diversification. Development through rural tourism is a possible sustainable response that can be implemented in many of Europe’s rural areas, including Marginimea Sibiului. Thus, the purpose of this research, and its main contribution, was to identify the specific features of the Marginimea Sibiului area and possible strategies for capitalizing on local resources through rural tourism activities. We also sought to understand the extent to which rural tourism is seen by the owners of tourist structures as a developmental possibility. We utilized a case study research method to address these questions. The research has major implications due to the questionnaires applied to the owners of rural tourism structures during August 2022, which allowed us to determine: the motivation of tourist structure owners to carry out tourism activity, the degree of development, aspects concerning the operation and management of the tourist structure, and future development and improvement of the owned products. Because the area is representative at the national level in terms of rural tourism activity, an X-ray was sketched after the conclusions were drawn, which issued some proposals for “mixing” the resources through rural tourist activities as a “presentation modality”, which may potentially have favorable future consequences.

The formation of a strategy for the development of rural green tourism and its infrastructure is an important condition for creating an attractive investment climate in this area, the formation of motivation for rural residents. The purpose of the article is to study the main aspects of building a strategy for infrastructure support of rural green tourism enterprises in modern conditions. The results of the analysis of the given strategic directions of development of tourist infrastructure show that a small part of the Strategy is devoted to substantiation of future actions of the state for support and development of rural green tourism. The article presents a model of development of local infrastructure of rural green tourism. Rural tourism is an important factor in the development and intensification of depressed areas of rural areas and the fullness of local budgets. Increased domestic tourist flows can reduce unemployment, raise the regional economy, improve the living standards of local people and reduce the imbalance between urban and rural life. However, the growth of rural tourism can also have negative consequences for rural areas, especially for the environment. Increased tourism in rural areas poses an increasing risk of air, water and land pollution through the construction of tourism infrastructure and facilities, as well as losses from tourism operations that meet the needs of tourists.

The first step of this study was to determine the tourist potential of rural areas. The determination of rural tourist potential in Brčko District was carried out with the assistance of the Brčko District Government. For this purpose, the method of expert decision-making was used, and three experts were selected who evaluated six rural settlements. To obtain results based on expert evaluation, two multi-criteria methods were used: the Full Consistency Method (FUCOM) for determining the importance of criteria and the fuzzy Measurement Alternatives and Ranking according to the COmpromise Solution (MARCOS) method to rank rural settlements in terms of their tourism potential. The results showed that the settlement of Bijela has the best rural tourist potential, while the settlement of Grbavica has the least potential. The results obtained by applying this model showed how rural tourism in Brčko District can be improved. The research model for testing the tourism potential has shown good results and can be applied in other branches of tourism with some adaptation to certain branches of tourism.

Abstract:
Revealed logistical approach to achieve sustainable development of urban and rural kinds of tourism including practical examples of the most popular tourist destinations (cities) in Ukraine – Kyiv and Lviv. Logistics approach is based on applying the concept of spatial regulation of tourist flows in cities and rural areas (worked out by one of authors – Smyrnov I.G.) and the concept of reverse logistics for recycling of waste, which volume increases as usual after tourists visits. Fulfilled comparison of logistical features of urban and rural tourism in order to ensure their sustainability. For a common goal – to achieve sustainability of the tourism industry in a particular area and at the same functional purpose – by optimization (regulation) of tourist flows in appropriate way to the specific destinations considering their tourism resource base and distribution of tourist flows differences lie in the different resource base for tourism development. In the case of rural tourism resource base is: first, the landscape (natural landscapes); second, flora and fauna; third, agricultural production; fourth, various events (ethnographic, ethnomusic, ethnogastronomic and other ethnotouristic holidays and festivals). In the case of urban tourism the resource base is equally varied and includes: first, historical and modern buildings and other points of architectural interest; second, interurban objects (castles, museums, shopping and entertainment centers etc.); third, the natural environment (parks, botanical gardens etc.); fourth, various events (international, national, city celebrations, festivals and other social and cultural activities). There is difference in the case of rural and urban tourist flows distribution along the territory: typical for rural tourism is dispersing distribution (on farms), typical for urban tourism is concentrated distribution, particularly in the central and historic districts of cities. Accordingly major logistical tasks of ensuring the sustainability of tourism are also different: for rural tourism it is, first, to determine minimum and maximum volumes of tourist flows; second, is desired the waste recycling and monitoring of environmental conditions. For urban tourism main task is to determine the maximum tourist flows volume and as a must the waste recycling whith improving of environmental conditions. Also developed scientific and practical grounds of reverse ecologistics, i.e. logistics of waste recycling remaining after the tourists stay in urban and rural destinations. Proposed mathematical approach of ecologistical optimization of waste reusing (recycling) in destinations of urban and rural tourism.

The study aims to analyze the decision-making of the agents through the theoretical assumptions of the New Institutional Economics (NIE), and the results in transaction costs of rural property activity added tourism to its agricultural business. The methodology adopted was the exploratory and explanatory study. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and the analysis was qualitative. Finally, we know that we still need to find appropriate tools to reduce the asymmetry of information and allow a wider field of view to making agents' decisions.

Abstract:
Problem Statement and Purpose. The article deals with the peculiarities of rural tourism development in Khmelnytskyi region. The purpose of our research is to study the current state, problems and prospects of rural tourism in Khmelnytskyi region. To achieve this goal we have performed the following tasks. For example, the development peculiarities of Khmelnytskyi regional tourist complex are revealed; identified spatial aspects of Khmelnytskyi region rural tourism development; the problems of Khmelnytskyi region rural tourism development are investigated; the perspective development directions of Khmelnytskyi region rural tourism are named. The essence of the concept of “rural” tourism is defined. The available tourist and recreational resources necessary for the development of rural tourism in Khmelnytskyi region are analyzed. The advantages and factors influencing the development of rural tourism in this region are identified. According to many scientists, due to the spread of COVID‑19 and the pandemic, rural tourism is the most developed, as this type of tourism is one of the most secluded types. Data & Methods. To achieve the goal of the study, general scientific and special methods of geographical science were used. The negative and positive impact of green tourism on rural areas and the solution of socio-economic problems of the village are analyzed. Given the rich tourist and recreational resources of Khmelnytskyi region (favorable natural and climatic conditions, historical, cultural and ethnic heritage), the development of rural tourism is one of the ways to solve economic, social and environmental problems. Results. Rural tourism promotes the development of the rural population employment, not only in the production sphere, but also in the service sector and promotes the development of rural areas, as well as stimulating the development of services: transport, communications, trade, services, recreation and other institutions in the countryside. The article deals with the ways to increase the efficiency of green tourism in Khmelnytskyi region. It is substantiated that the available resource potential of Khmelnytskyi region is not rationally used, due to the lack of sufficient information on this form of tourism. The study of the of green tourism development prospects in Khmelnytskyi region is very relevant in the context of decentralization. In accordance with the principles of reforming the system of governance in Ukraine, local governments should become the basis for decentralization, taking full account of local development and needs. The newly formed rural united territorial communities have great difficulties in filling local budgets with funds from economic activities on their territory. It is believed that rural tourism can become an industry that will actively fill the budget of rural united territorial communities.

Abstract:
With the development of tourism, rural tourism as an industry with great development potential is gradually attracting urban consumers. Considering the differences between different types of rural tourism, I refine it at the visitor level to balance the differences in visitor groups of different types of rural tourism. I propose an improved LSTM framework for rural tourism theme feature extraction. I chose a deep neural network approach to decompose the diverse rural tourism word of mouth into different tourism themes. Then, through tourist feedback data preprocessing, destination theme detection, rural tourism type classification, and word-of-mouth management prediction network, I finally achieve an accurate grasp of rural tourism word-of-mouth features and develop corresponding tourism management strategies. To test the performance of our method, I established different types of rural tourism databases through field surveys for experimental validation. The experimental results show that our method achieves over 90% accuracy in review sentiment detection.

Abstract:
Rural tourism was a popular sector of tourism development in the last few years. The importance of this sector means that it can be developed on its own or together with other tourist sectors. The future of rural tourism depends on the supports of the national plans and strategies and the sales systems to keep on the market. In this study, I analyze how the Hungarian National Tourism Development Strategy deals with rural tourism and sustainable tourism. I also analyze how the big Hungarian travel agencies’ sales help rural tourism to advertise lodgings, and raise the number of sales. For the future, I analyze the opportunity of using travel agencies to sell rural tourism products.
