Abstract:

L’agriculture biologique émane d’une critique sociale et agronomique : celle de l’industrialisme et du capitalisme qui tendraient à empêcher l’existence même des agriculteurs, et celle de l’agrochimie qui exploiterait les terres sans entretenir correctement leur fertilité. D’une manière générale, l’agrobiologie émerge d’une contestation politique romantique de la modernité, avec toute la complexité de ce courant d’idées. Nostalgie du monde paysat, recherche d’une harmonie de l’agriculture avec la nature, tendance au mysticisme biologique, refus du désenchantement du monde, influences de l’Orient, critique de l’extension de la soif du profit, constituent les thèmes récurrents, plus ou moins accentués selon les fondateurs Howard, Müller, Rusch, Fukuoka. Avec Steiner, les racines de l’agrobiologie plongent dans l’occultisme. Une clarification épistémologique et philosophique de la diversité de ces enjeux culturels s’imposait. Sur le plan agronomique, les critiques tournent autour du thème de l’oubli agrochimique du sol et de l’importance de l’humus pour le maintien de la fertilité et la qualité nutritionnelle des produits agricoles. Outre une économie fondée sur l’agriculture, les alternatives proposées concernent la prise en charge de la commercialisation par les producteurs et un renouveau des techniques de la fertilisation organique, surtout avec le compostage et les engrais verts. De plus, la réflexion sur la nature comme modèle invite aussi à un rapprochement de l’agriculture avec la forêt, lequel trouve aujourd’hui un prolongement inédit dans une agroforesterie intégrant l’amendement au bois raméal fragmenté
Organic farming originates from a social and agronomical criticism of industrialism and capitalism which tend towards the complete disappearance of farming, and of agricultural chemistry which exploits land without properly maintaining its fertility. In general, organic farming emerged from a romantic political contestation of modernity in all its complexity. Nostalgia for country life, a search fro harmony between farming and nature, a tendency towards biological mysticism, refusal of disillusion with the world, oriental influences, criticism of expansion of thirst for profit, all are recurrent themes, more or less underlined by the founders Howard, Müller, Rusch and Fukuoka. According to Steiner, organic farming plunges its roots in occultism. An epistemological and philosophical clarification on these various cultural issues became necessary. From an agronomical point of view, the criticism concerns themes of agricultural chemistry’s neglect for soil quality, importance of humus in the preservation of soil fertility and nutritional quality of agricultural produce. Apart from an economy based on farming, the alternatives proposed are marketing by producers and a return to organic fertilization techniques using compost and green manures. In addition, the idea of using nature as a model invites a comparison of farming with forestry, which today is compounded by agroforestry methods incorporating Ramial Chipped Wood

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with new phenomenon in tourism film induced tourism. The main objective of the master thesis is to characterize film induced tourism which could be used as a tool to increase the attendance of the destination where the film was shot. Next main objective of the thesis is evaluation of film induced tourism in Europe, more precisely in Great Britain and Northern Ireland where the film induced tourism is at relatively advanced level. The master thesis is divided into the eight main chapters. The first part briefly defines term tourism, its importance and tips related to the place of realization. In the second chapter there is described management of destination, following with marketing direction in the fourth chapter. In the fifth part, there is definition of film-induced tourism, related history, supply, the opportunities of marketing promotion and typology of the film induced tourist. Next parts of thesis show significance and efficiency of film induced tourism, film induced tourism in Czech Republic and in the Europe where the main attention was focused on Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The last chapter refers to own research where the potential of film induced tourism was investigated by using quantitative and qualitative methods from respondents which were based in Czech Republic.

This master thesis is focused on area of tourism which is becoming more and more important topic. The first part defines the concepts of the tourism area. Next part encompasses the characteristic of chosen destination e.g. Sri Lanka and assessment of its potential. The author spends lot of her time on Sri Lanka and was interested by its unutilized potential. The master thesis is focusing on excursion tours solely because Sri Lanka is not primary a hotel-based holiday destination. The master thesis consists of overwide of biggest tour sellers as well as the specialized agencies on Czech market and of detailed analysis of their tours. The main goal of this work is the composition of two original excursion tours for specific groups on the basis of throughout analysis and knowledge of the interests and needs of Czech clients. Such tours should have the potential to fill in the gap on the tourist market.

This thesis deals with the issue of tourism in Peru and analyzes offer of tours of Czech travel agencies to Peru in 2016. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of tourism (types and forms of tourism, travel agencies and tour operators, destinations, tour division and more). The practical part introduces the basic information about Peru, about the history and current state of tourism in Peru and evaluates the products offered on the market of tours to Peru in the Czech Republic. The core of the practical part is the comparison of offer of tourist attractions in Peru and analysis of offers of tours to Peru and then finding blank spaces in the market, according to which the three original tours to Peru will be proposed. When preparing this work the author was based primarily on study of literature and internet sources. Lessons learned and recommendations are summarized in the conclusion. This thesis is designed for individual travelers, tourists and others interested in visiting Peru.

Abstract:

This graduation thesis is focused on the foreign tourism in Czechoslovakia in the seventies and the eighties of the twentieth century, it concentrates on traveling abroad of Czechoslovaks. Thesis tries to explain political conditions of foreign tourism development, its organizational structure and its importance for CSSR. This thesis also describes basic analysis of the foreign tourism. It looks for answer why and how the state supported traveling abroad and why on the other hand foreign tourism development was controlled by complicated conditions of leave Czechoslovakia for abroad. These conditions were represented by restrictions of issuance of the travel documents, customs regulations and foreign exchange regulations. The restrictions were very different for traveling to socialist countries and the other countries.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the influence of geocaching on tourism. First it briefly presents the principle of precise determination of position and coordinate systems, and then it describes the rules and principles of the game. It deals with the influence of geocaching on domestic tourism -- describing current situation, motivation of geocachers and functions of geocaching. It also analyzes the international influence of geocaching based on the comparison of visits of concrete caches by domestic and foreign geocachers. Then it also compares the numbers of caches in the Czech Republic which provide listing in foreign language and so these caches are foreigners friendly. Last chapter focuses on the analysis of several projects which use geocaching as a marketing instrument and tries to provide recommendations and identify mistakes which should be avoided in order to implement a successful project.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the concept of sustainable tourism development and its application in destination Finland. Main goal of the thesis is to depict the present state of sustainable tourism in this Nordic country and evaluate sustainable development of tourism in North Savo region. In the theoretical part, the importance of tourism and the sustainable tourism development is discussed. The following part is concerned with a basic characteristic of Finland as a tourist destination and the description of incoming and domestic tourism. The emphasis is further placed on an analysis of prerequisites for sustainable tourism in Finland. The analytical part focuses on an evaluation of sustainable tourism development awareness in North Savo region based on a questionnaire survey and selected indicators of sustainable tourism.

This thesis is focused on the congress tourism in Prague, which is the main congress destination of the Czech Republic. The first part aims to characterize and to map congress tourism in Prague with an emphasis on the potential of Prague as a congress destination. The thesis also describes the mechanisms of both domestic and foreign congress tourism market, including subjects, which operate on them. The subject of the next part is a comparison with selected congress destinations. The last part will focus on analysis of a company GUARANT International, which is representative of the professional congress organizer in Prague. The aim of the analysis is to assess the company's position in the domestic and foreign markets, for which competition analysis will be used. The last part will be a SWOT analysis and the results will be compared with the new company strategy.

This diploma thesis deals with a research carried out at Prague travel agencies using the Mystery shopping method and the follow-up evaluation and recommendation of a suitable form of selling in a respective region. The aim of the work is to evaluate the travel agencies from the point of view of the quality of the offered products, provided services, the agents´knowledge and the general interaction with them. The theoretic part consists of chapters that explain the key concepts and definitions of tourism and their forms of selling. In the methodical part the Mystery shopping method is discribed from the point of view of the historiy and evaluation of the work including the research period. The practical part is dedicated to the analysis of the data obtained during the Mystery shopping realized at travel agencies and includes three parts. The first research has the form of an online require in which the agents´ability of offering and follow-up selling of a product is evaluated. This research is carried out through the email communication. The second research concerns ordering tours on web portal where the agents´willingness to arrange further services for a tour is evaluated. This research is carried out through the phone communication. This diploma paper deals with a description and an analysis of the position of the Czech Republic and its regions in the field of the Congress Tourism. The first part of the paper contains a theoretic definition of the Congress Tourism. The another part devotes itself to the position of the Congress Tourism in the world and there are international organizations operating in the area of the Congress Tourism mentioned, and also a comparison of individual countries, or more precisely cities, by the medium of international statistics presented. Furthermore, there is a position of the Czech Republic as a whole described, most important organizations specified and a position of the regions based on the data of the Czech Statistical Office outlined. The last part of the diploma paper contains a description of the conditions for the Congress Tourism of the individual regions of the Czech Republic. At the conclusion, there are knowledges from the previous parts summarized.

The following part of this work is devoted to an introduction into theory of destination marketing and management with specification of its participants. The final part deals with investigation among local people, visitors and travel agencies which analysed their opinion of tourism potential of this destination. The main goal of this work is to show that in the future Sokolov region is supposed to be a very nice place to visit and spend some time on holiday.

The aim of my diploma work is to evaluate the positives and negatives of the inclusion of tourist attractions, especially municipalities and their attractiveness to the UNESCO list, with examples from the Czech Republic, possibly also abroad. Our country is very rich in historical monuments. The most important of them are inscribed on the UNESCO list. After the Velvet Revolution tourism sharply increased, which resulted in not only the positives, but also negatives. Many dangers of unregulated tourism appeared. Management of tourist destinations must suppress the negative impacts of tourism on attractions and to ensure their sustainable development. I demonstrate this at the towns Telč and Český Krumlov.

The aim of thesis is to identify factors for future tourism development in Decin region. The theoretical part deals with general definition of tourism its position in the national economy and also outlines the importance of tourism for the regional and microregional development in Czech Republic. The practical part is focused on tourism in Decin region. Firstly, the basic and supporting infrastructure of tourism is defined by description, the areas of possible further development of the region are identified and the economic impact of tourism on the selected area is hypothesized. Consequently, the range of accommodation facilities and services for tourists in Decin region are evaluated by the questionnaire survey. The representative sample of 13 facilities, ie 10% of total, is randomly selected of the 131 providers of accommodation services. The structure of facilities and the quality of its services is identified by the synthesis of the data. In conclusion, the results may help us to determinate the temporary situation in accommodation services, to indentify the main barriers of the tourist development and to suggest possible improvements and funding for further tourism development in Decin region.

The aim of this master thesis is to analyze the current trends in tourism in the European union. Then also determine which factors influence its further development, as well as predict the future trends in tourism in the EU. The thesis is also trying to answer scientific questions regarding the impact of the global economic and financial crisis on the development of tourism in the regions of the European Union, the specific factors affecting the tourism trends in the European Union and the activities of the institutions of the European Union to support the positive development of tourism in the European Union. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first is theoretically based and contains definitions of terms related to tourism, the methodology of its research, its development and its economic importance. The second focuses on the position of the EU in the issue of tourism in comparison with the world and other regions, as well as on current trends in individual regions of the European Union and their main tourist destinations. The third chapter analyzes the current trends, including factors that may affect them. It also includes information about the activities of the institutions of the European Union to promote tourism in this area, information about sustainable tourism development in the EU and specific prediction of the future development of tourism in the European Union.

Para além dos limites temporais que o restringem ao período entre o final do século XVIII a meados do século XIX, o Romantismo é uma visão de mundo que perdura em várias manifestações culturais, políticas e sociais de forma indireta ou explícita, mas sempre com a marca da ambiguidade que permite a compreensão do fenômeno tanto como uma rejeição à sociedade burguesa, quanto como uma forma de ajuste ao sistema capitalista por meio da fuga do real e do individualismo. Levando em conta este aspecto conflitivo da sensibilidade romântica, o objetivo da dissertação é investigar sua permanência na cultura de massa, tomando como objeto a telenovela de Gilberto Braga com ênfase no tema do dinheiro como agente de dissolução dos valores. Parte-se das imbricações do fenômeno romântico com o melodrama e o folhetim em seu contexto de origem, para pensar como se dá a recuperação de seus traços na modernidade periférica, destacando-se como o novelista atualiza as matrizes europeias em diálogo com os modelos de construção folhetinesca de José de Alencar e também com outros autores de radionovelas e telenovelas, sobretudo, Janete Clair. Como corpus para análise foram selecionadas as novelas Senhora (1975), Vale Tudo (1988) e Celebridade (2003).
Beyond the time limits that restrict the period between the late eighteenth century to the mid-nineteenth century, Romanticism is a worldview that remains in many cultural, political and social forms in a indirect or explicit way, but always with a ambiguity sign that allows the understanding of the phenomenon both as a rejection of the bourgeois society, and as a way to adjust to the capitalist system through the scape from reality and individualism. Considering this conflicted aspect of the romantic sensibility, the objective of this work is to investigate its stay in mass culture, taking as its object the TV novel of Gilberto Braga with an emphasis on money as an agent of the dissolution of values. The work starts from the connections between the romantic phenomenon of melodrama and the feuilleton in its original context, to think how is the recovery of their traces in the peripheral modernity, highlighting how the novelist updates the European patterns in dialogue with the José de Alencar’s writing feuilletonistic models and also with other authors of radio novels and tv novels, especially Janete Clair. As corpus for the analysis were selected the novels Senhora (1975), Vale Tudo (1988) and Celebridade (2003).

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of cultural tourism, particularly focusing on Prague theatres and incoming tourism in Prague. This work specifically examines the relationship between these two areas. The aim of this study is to confirm the hypothesis whether it makes sense to look at theatres in Prague as one of the tools of marketing strategies and promotion of the city in relation to foreign visitors. First part of this work is theoretical. It deals with the definition of culture, performing arts and tourism. This part also examines theoretical approaches to the issue of cultural tourism and cultural tourist. Practical part of this study includes a survey and interviews in selected theatres and institutions, thematically focused on marketing communication and overall approach to the target group of foreign visitors.
