Abstract:

The article presents changes in five subindexes in the FAO food price index in 2024. The prices of grain, milk and meat producers in Russia, the European Union and the USA are compared. The wholesale purchase prices for sugar in the Russian Federation and the EU are compared. There is a significant excess of retail prices over producer prices in the domestic Russian market of milk and potatoes. An analytical formula for confirming the law of demand is given. The annual productivity of dairy cows in Russia, the EU and the USA is analyzed.

An analysis was made of the primary incidence of breast cancer (BC) among women in the Irkutsk region for 2011–2021. and mortality from it in comparison with data for the Russian Federation in order to assess the situation. According to the results of the analysis, an increase in the relative indicators of the primary incidence of breast cancer in the region by 25%, in the Russian Federation – by 17%.
