Abstract:
The monograph examines the main stages of the formation and development of Ukrainian statehood since the collapse of the Ancient Russian state in the XIII century and the entry of the territories of Southwestern Russia into neighboring states, Ukraine's acquisition of international political and legal subjectivity in the XX century and the modern stage of its development.
The processes of political and socio-economic development of the region as part of the all-Russian political space, the processes of sovereignization during the revolutions of 1917 and the Civil War and the Soviet period of formation and development of Ukrainian statehood are analyzed.
Special attention is paid to the processes related to the development of Ukraine as a subject of world politics and international relations. The essential features of the Ukrainian crisis are determined as part of global transformational processes aimed at realizing the interests of the United States and its allies, as well as the specifics of modern processes in Ukraine as part of the global conflict of the Western community against Russia in order to inflict maximum damage on it in all spheres of life.
It is addressed to teachers, students, undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral students of higher educational institutions. It can be used by specialists in the field of international relations.
