The Aedes aegypti mosquito is a vector for the spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, and the use of natural larvicides is needed as an alternative to synthetic larvicides to control its growth. The plant family that is widely used in the development of larvicidal active ingredients is Rutaceae. This literature review was conducted with the aim of collecting and analyzing research results related to the content of compounds that have the potential to produce larvicidal activity in the Rutaceae plant family. Abstract Over the past five years, phytochemical and pharmacological studies have been conducted on material extracted from members of the Rutaceae family. In such work, new furochinoline-structured alkaloids were isolated from Ruta sp. and Dictamnus sp. Beyond the aforementioned, other substances with promising activity were isolated from the less-known species of Zanthoxylum, Evodia, Lonchocarpus, Myrthopsis and Teclea. Currently used forms of extraction, as well as methods of isolation and detection, allow the obtaining of pure, biologically active compounds. Many of these have antifungal,

Essential oils are produced as secondary metabolites by aromatic plants, predominantly belonging to families Apiaceae, Lamiaceae, Myrtaceae, and Rutaceae. The family Rutaceae has great economic importance for its numerous edible fruits and essential oils. In the present study, essential oils of seven plants of family Rutaceae, Aegle marmelos, Murraya koenigii, Citrus reticulata Blanco, Zanthoxylum armatum, Skimmia laureola, Murraya paniculata, and Boenninghausenia albiflora, were used for their toxicological assessment. Clausena harmandiana (Pierre) Guillaumin or Song faa dong (in Thai), is classified in Family Rutaceae. Previous study, a coumarin compound designated CHA-01 was isolated from leave extract of C. harmandiana with inhibitory activity against calcium signaling in a ZDS1 null mutant yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae (delta zds1). However, not much has been known on biological activity of this coumarin. In the past, some other coumarins were reported to contain anti-cancer activity. The aim of this research was to study molecular mechanism on antiproliferation activity of CHA-01 in Jurkat T cells. The
