In the first part of the study, dyed polyester fabric was treated with a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma at 1 W/cm2 for 15, 30, 60 and 90 s. The wicking height, tensile strength and color of the control and plasma treated fabrics were measured. Results show that the fabric capillary increases with plasma treatment time up to 90 s. However, plasma treatment time longer than 60 s caused an obvious color change and decrease in tensile strength of fabric. Plasma contact time should be such that plasma can improve the hydrophilicity of the fabric and adversely affect the properties of the

The temperature changes on these fabrics were measured. The results showed that it cost much time of 2ml water than 0.5ml water dropped on two kinds of fabrics. Abstract:
Localization of deformation occurs in Earth's crust as a consequence of applied stress and is widespread phenomenon that can be found in crustal rocks. Such localization of deformation can be mostly seen in a form of shear zones. Small shear zones referred as shear bands or S-C structures are often used as kinematic indicators. However, the evolution and kinematic continuity of such structures is not well identified, which makes it problematic when interpreting regional geodynamic evolution. Two possible cases were distinguished and described in this thesis: a) kinematically discontinuous S-C

C. C. Beck was one of the most influential artists working in comics in the U. S. in the 1940s and 1950s. As the co-creator of Captain Marvel, he and his assistants worked on one of the best-selling comic book characters of the era. Later in his career, he also developed a reputation as a comics critic. In addition to his columns for The Comics Journal, he established the Critical Circle in the late 1980s, a group of friends, fellow artists, and fans with whom he shared his unpublished essays on the form. Like Will Eisner, Beck was significant as a cartoonist and as a theorist of comic art. This chapter explores how he applied those theories to his work, which is known for its narrative economy and simplicity.
