Abstract:

Attraverso le testimonianze verbali e le rappresentazioni per immagini realizzate con il "gioco della sabbia" da persone in lutto vengono descritte nel testo le risonanze emozionali per la perdita di una persona con cui si era condivisa la vita e il processo elaborativo di chi intraprende un'esperienza terapeutica. Nel clima partecipativo della relazione analitica le persone possono condividere la loro sofferenza e la ricerca di sé, scoprendo il significato simbolico racchiuso nella sofferenza: l'aprirsi di uno spazio mentale e affettivo, aperto alla presenza dei processi interiori e all'importanza della componente relazionale. Segue la presentazione di un caso clinico e l'analisi di alcune scene del "gioco della sabbia", che evidenziano la peculiaritŕ del "pensare per immagini", un punto teorico di fondo del pensiero junghiano. Dal confronto tra i vissuti espressi nella comunicazione verbale e quelli nelle scene del "gioco della sabbia" si puň cogliere che la rappresentazione per immagini favorisce l'emergenza di contenuti profondi e simbolici, non prevedibili dalla coscienza e non ancora esprimibili con le parole.

The article analyses a holiday reportage La lunga strada di sabbia [TheLong Road of Sand] by Pier Paolo Pasolini, which is a record ofa journeymade by the Italian intellectual in 1959 along the coasts of Italian Penisula. The author seeks the answers to the following questions: Howdoes Pasolini talk about his journey? Which elements of the journey and theworld are the most important to the writer? She concludes that Pasolini uses thestrategy of holiday reportage to touch upon the essential themes of his laterworks – ordinary people, their living conditions, the pace of socio-economic changes. At the same time, Pasolini uses the literary genre of reportage to present a broader than usual affective spectrum.

Il presente contributo, suddiviso in due parti, vuole proporre alcune riflessioni sul ruolo del ‘narratore’ in due adattamenti fumettistici del famoso racconto L’uomo della sabbia di E.T.A. Hoffmann. Sulla scorta di alcune teorie a riguardo, una prima sezione indaga le proprietà narrative di questo medium, soffermandosi in particolare sull’istanza del narratore. Nella seconda parte, il focus è invece posto sul caso specifico dell’adattamento fumettistico di testi di prosa narrativa; nello specifico, attraverso l’analisi della resa in fumetto di alcuni passaggi del racconto hoffmanniano particolarmente interessanti da un punto di vista narratologico, verranno presentate alcune considerazioni sul ruolo dell’istanza narrante e sulla sua funzione all’interno delle due trasposizioni prese in esame, onde evidenziare le differenti possibilità espressivo-narrative del fumetto.

Le mutevoli relazioni tra popolazione, uso della terra ed erosione nel Mediterraneo vengono discusse allo scopo di mettere in discussione alcune tradizionali ipotesi eco-demografiche. I risultati preliminari indicano un cambiamento da fiumi lateralmente mobili che erodevano e depositavano sabbia e ghiaia durante il periodo Romano, ad una rapida alluvione formata da silt sabbioso tra il tardo medioevo ed il periodo rinascimentale. Il silt sabbioso superficiale tende ad ispessirsi andando da nord a sud e si pensa che ciò sia più probabilmente dovuto all'intensificazione dello sfruttamento del suolo piuttosto che a variazioni climatiche fra diverse aree dell'Etruria.

L'autrice s'interroga sul senso attribuibile al tertium, riferimento spaziale e temporale ricorrente nell'opera junghiana. Partendo dal sintomo alla volta del simbolo e, parallelamente, procedendo dalle parole alle immagini, l'autrice presenta la funzione trascendente come ponte interpersonale e intrapersonale che permette alla diade analitica di creare con sacrificio lo spazio per accogliere contemporaneamente il reale e il potenziale, l'immanente e il trascendente. Il materiale del paziente, che rinasce ed č contenuto nel presente dal setting e dalla relazione analitica, diventa un altro terzo elemento, nuova energia psichica liberata e disponibile per proseguire il processo di guarigione di sé. In quest'ottica, anche la sabbia č presentata come terzo luogo possibile ove rappresentare e congedare vecchie e nuove forme di esistenza ed esperienza: toccando il complesso e lasciando risuonare gli archetipi, si procede sul sentiero dell'individuazione di cui paziente e analista sono a tratti alterni, guardiani e ladri.

Vi sono tre fondamentali posizioni che si possono prendere nei confronti del dolore: 1) il dolore si identifica con la malattia e il nostro obiettivo č quello di risolverlo piů rapidamente possibile; 2) il dolore č una parte inevitabile dell'esperienza del vivere e dobbiamo diventare capaci di accettarlo; 3) il dolore č maestro di vita e ci educa verso la redenzione e la conoscenza di sé. Č logico che l'adesione, consapevole o meno, a ognuna di queste tre posizioni condiziona il nostro modo di lavorare, soprattutto per quanto riguarda l'analisi delle difese. Una particolare esperienza dolorosa alla quale l'analista risulta esposto č la perdita dei propri pazienti, la loro morte o semplicemente la fine della terapia. Ciň rende i nostri sforzi creativi simili al costruire castelli di sabbia in riva al mare e ci allena a fare investimenti non narcisistici sulle vite dei nostri pazienti.

Abstract. The report aims to present the experience of a project called “Resilient Valleys”, which covers the area of the high valleys Trompia and Sabbia, near Brescia, Italy. This is a peripheral territory, which is suffering depopulation and losing the ability to attract people and resources, both economic and environmental. With this project, we have tried to overcome the crisis linked to the impoverishment and fragmentation of the social fabric, by activating virtuous processes of development and participation. The “Resilient Valleys” project, carried out as part of the Cariplo Foundation’s “AttivAree” programme, aimed to give new life to the territories by enhancing their cultural, historical and environmental potential. One of the paths had the purpose to produce a change in the way we approach restoration, enhancement and conservation of the building heritage, of which this area is rich. This activity has been carried out through successive phases: first, mapping of architectural resources considered as identity heritage; second, new courses for people actively involved in the building field; third, printing “Guidelines for intervention" for vernacular buildings. A further activity concerned the reactivation of a rural complex in the territory of Rebecco (Italy). The project consisted in the architectural restoration of three abandoned and partially collapsed buildings. While testing the indications of the Guidelines mentioned above, the rural complex has also been revised from an agricultural-ecological-cultural point of view. The project is characterized by a strong cross over between identity culture and social cohesion of the territory.

Abstract:

In the al-Qur’an, there are seven surahs that start with the root word of sabbaha in various forms. The word tasbih is a maṣdar of the word sabbaha which means to keep God away from bad qualities. This study aims to seek clarification of the expression of tasbih and seek the opinion of mufasir on the differences in the expression of tasbih at the beginning of the surahs of the al-Qur’an. The research method used in this study is the mauḍū'i method. This type of research is library research. Primary data sources come from Tafsr mafātih al-Ghayb, Tafsr al-Misbah, Tafsr Sayyid Quṭb, Tafsr Wahbah al-Zuhayli, and Tafsr al-Qurṭubi. The results showed that the word tasbih using maṣdar (Subhāna) states as an affirmation. The word tasbih using fi'l māḍi (Sabbaha) means that from the past until now all creatures on the earth and sky are glorifying. The word tasbih using fi'l muḍāri' (Yusabbihu) does not only states in the present and the future but also states as a past and the act of glorifying is done repeatedly. The word tasbih uses fi'l al-amr (Sabbih) works as a reminder to always glorify during prayer times and off prayer times. Di dalam al-Quran, ada tujuh surah yang dimulai dari akar kata sabbaha dan dalam berbagai bentuk. Kata Tasbih merupakan maṣdar dari kata sabbaha yang bermakna menjauhkan Allah dari sifat-sifat buruk. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari klarifikasi ungkapan tasbih dan mencari pendapat mufassir terhadap perbedaan ungkapan tasbih di awal surah-surah al-Quran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode mauḍū‘i. Jenis penelitian bersifat studi kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data primer berasal dari Tafsīr mafātih al-Ghayb, Tafsīr al-Misbah, Tafsīr Sayyid Quṭb, Tafsīr Wahbah al-Zuhayli, dan Tafsīr al-Qurṭubi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kata tasbih dengan menggunakan maṣdar (Subhāna) berfungsi sebagai penegasan. Kata tasbih dengan menggunakan fi‘l māḍi (Sabbaha) bermakna dari dulu hingga sekarang seluruh makhluk di muka bumi dan langit bertasbih. Kata tasbih dengan menggunakan fi‘l muḍāri‘ (Yusabbihu) tidak hanya berfungsi zaman kini dan akan datang, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai masa lampau dan perbuatan bertasbih dilakukan secara berulang-ulang. Kata tasbih dengan menggunakan fi‘l al-amr (Sabbih) sebagai peringatan untuk senantiasa bertasbih baik di luar waktu ṣalat maupun di dalam waktu salat.

Abstract:

Several Greek documents from the Archives of the Athonite monastery of St Paul contain information about Radosthlabos Sampias, a Serbian nobleman at the service of the Byzantine Emperors Andronikos IV and John VII. Moreover, a certain Sabyai mentioned in a Turkish document from the same monastery reveal seemingly another reference to Radosthlabos Sampias. Although scholars are agreed on his Serbian origin, they have not shown any interest in the sense or etymology of the Radosthlabos? family name Sampias / Sabyai. A clue to this problem can be found in a short Cyrillic note on the 15th century copy of the Andronikos IV charter issued to Radosthlabos in 1378. The note says: ? pr'vi hrisovul' radosava sablie (The first chryssobul of Radosav the Sabre). Accordingly, the nickname or the family name of Radosthlabos was Sabre, a term for a heavy sword with a curved blade. The word occurs in Serbian sources in two similar forms (sablia and sabia), and their Latin equivalents are sabla and sabia. Grounded in these facts, the explanation of the Greek transcription Sampias is relatively simple - a group of letters mp is used to replace b, hence the word was pronounced as sabias or sambias. Turkish variant Sabyai is also derived directly from a Serbian matching term. It seems most likely that Radosthlabos (or his father) earned this nickname as a person who skillfully handled a sabre.

Abstract:

Questo saggio conclude ricerche sulla storia della codificazione del diritto, che l’autore ha iniziato mezzo secolo fa. Se aveva finora concesso molto (e forse troppo) spazio alla elaborazione storica di concetti e quindi alla definizione dello ‘statuto ontologico’ del codice, qui ne prescinde quasi totalmente. Ma si interroga in compenso sul destino concreto affrontato dai codici quando, oramai diritto vigente, entrano nella società, alla quale erano destinati, e tentano di disciplinarla. Vede perciò nel codice un messaggio, il cui valore (rispettivamente significato) non viene anticipato dal legislatore, ma via via appurato dal destinatario, in questo caso dalla società. E per essa (la precisazione non è superflua) da chi emergeva, quindi la dominava, ossia da chi era in grado di imporre proprie scelte di natura giuridica, sociale, economica, politica, rispettivamente di sintonizzare l’astratto codice sulle proprie personali frequenze. Mentre finora la ricerca era come stregata dalla storia dell’elaborazione/formazione del codice, questo diverso approccio sposta l’obiettivo sul dopo-codice, tenta cioè di descrivere in quale realtà si imbatte il codice una volta arrivato a destinazione e cosa nasce concretamente da questo incontro-scontro. E lo fa non per screditare quanto già si fece, ma per scoprirne (e descriverne) ora la parabola completa, grazie ad uno sguardo binario, rispettoso tanto dell’ottica del mittente, quanto di quella del destinatario. A chi interroga siffattamente il passato, molte ricerch non interessano più, massime quelle che gli autori hanno finora svolto muovendo esclusivamente dal testo sanzionato dal codice. Gli sembrano virtuali, immaginarie, frammentarie, una traccia sempre più smunta, che poi si perde nella sabbia. Ma in compenso, forte del suo sguardo binario, riesce magari a dissodare qualche incolto. A spiegare diversamente il rapporto istaurato fra codici regolari e irregolari, a ragionare in modo meno preconcetto sulla nozione di recezione/trapianto, oppure a rendersi conto che – a dispetto di quanto tuttora molti sostengono – ogni codice modifica inevitabilmente, tanto o poco, il quadro della realtà giuridica.

Abstract:

In the Recent biota, species of the hipponicid gastropod genus Sabia that excavate characteristic pits on the outer surfaces of shells of reef-dwelling gastropods and hermit crabs occur only in the tropical Indo-West Pacific region and in adjacent warm-temperate parts of Japan and Australia. I report the discovery of Sabia pits in reef-associated gastropod shells from the Cercado (late Miocene) and Gurabo (early Pliocene) Formations of the Dominican Republic. The likely culprit was Hipponix otiosa Pilsbry and Johnson, 1917, a species here reassigned to Sabia Gray, 1840. Pliocene extinction, which was far more severe in the Caribbean and elsewhere in the western Atlantic than in the Indo-West Pacific, selectively eliminated Sabia and its commensalism from Atlantic reef ecosystems. This case is one of several examples indicating the vulnerability of specialized associations to extinction-causing disturbances.

Abstract:

Sabia and Chapare viruses in the Arenavirus family cause viral hemorrhagic fever among humans with a fatality rate of 30% with no treatment models. Therefore, it is of interest to document the codon usage, amino acid patterns and associated factors influencing the observed variations in Sabia and Chapare viruses for host adaptation. Multivariate statistical analysis revealed compositional constraint and host selection pressure influencing the viral codon usage patterns. These data suggests the codon usage signatures in Sabia and Chapare viruses for host adaptation in the human host implying its role in the rapid progression of the infection. Dinucleotides UpG and CpA were noted to be over-represented among the Sabia, Chapare viruses and human genomes. Strong restraint from the usage of CpG dinucleotides among viruses is linked with the molecular mimicry of the human immune system. Thus, the data reported from this study help in understanding the mechanism of viral adaptation inside the host genome for further consideration in drug discovery.

Savanna is a type of ecosystem in the lowlands or highlands, where the community consists of several trees that are spread unevenly and the lower layers are dominated by grasses. Savanna is very common in very dry areas in Nusa Tenggara. However, in some places in Java, Savanna can also be found. The widest Savanna in Java is Savanna in Baluran National Park, East Java. Information about the occurrence and formation (composition of vegetation) of Savanna in Indonesia, especially in wet areas, such as Java, Bali and Lombok, is still very rare. This paper compares and distinguishes the characteristics of vegetation from four Savanna (Java - Bali - Lombok) in the ‘wet’ area ‘which has a higher rainfall than the eastern region where savanna is more common in the Indonesian archipelago, to find out what the vegetation features are like can tell us about the origin, maintenance and age of this savanna. The results of this study indicate there are different gradients in elevation (along with related climatic factors such as temperature and rainfall) and fire regimes associated with floristic composition in Savanna Java, Bali and Lombok. Each Savanna is characterized by a variety of different woody and grass species, where Invasive Alien Species (IAS), such as Acacia nilotica, Lantana camara and Chromolaena odorata, are very important in distinguishing between Savanna and other savannas? The characteristics of the species from Savanna Baluran indicate that this ecosystem may be an old Savanna, while other Savanna may be newly formed and their existence is maintained by fire or fire. ABSTRAKSabana adalah tipe ekosistem di dataran rendah atau dataran tinggi yang komunitasnya terdiri atas beberapa pohon yang tersebar tidak merata dan lapisan bawahnya didominasi oleh suku rumput-rumputan. Sabana sangat umum dijumpai di wilayah yang sangat kering di Nusa Tenggara. Meskipun demikian, di beberapa tempat di Pulau Jawa juga dapat dijumpai sabana. Sabana terluas di Pulau Jawa adalah sabana di Taman Nasional Baluran, Jawa Timur. Informasi tentang bagaimana terjadinya serta formasi (komposisi vegetasi) sabana di Indonesia, terutama di daerah basah, seperti Jawa, Bali, dan Lombok, masih sangat jarang. Makalah ini membandingkan dan membedakan karakteristik vegetasi antara empat sabana daerah ‘basah’ di Jawa, Bali, dan Lombok yang memiliki curah hujan lebih tinggi dibanding sabana di kawasan timur Kepulauan Indonesia. Perbandingan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui fitur vegetasi yang memuat informasi tentang asal-usul, pemeliharaan (maintenance), dan usia sabana ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat gradien yang berbeda dalam hal elevasi (bersama dengan faktor iklim terkait, seperti suhu dan curah hujan) dan rezim api terkait dengan komposisi floristik di sabana Jawa, Bali, dan Lombok. Setiap sabana dicirikan oleh berbagai spesies berkayu dan rumput yang berbeda yang di dalamnya Invasive Alien Species (IAS), seperti Acacia nilotica, Lantana camara, dan Chromolaena odorata, menjadi jenis yang sangat penting untuk membedakan antara sabana dan sabana yang lain. Karakteristik spesies sabana Baluran menunjukkan bahwa ekosistem ini mungkin merupakan sabana tua, sedangkan sabana yang lain mungkin baru terbentuk dan keberadaannya tetap terpelihara oleh adanya api atau kebakaran.

Abstract:

The non-marine diatom flora of the Antarctic Continent includes several endemic taxa recorded over the past 100 years. One of these taxa, Navicula adminensis D.Roberts & McMinn, was described from the Vestfold Hills, East Antarctica. Detailed light and scanning electron microscopy observations have shown that based on its morphological features, the species does not belong to the genus Navicula sensu stricto. To determine the most closely related genera to N. adminensis, the morphological features of Adlafia, Kobayasiella, Envekadea, Stenoneis, Berkeleya, Climaconeis, and Parlibellus were compared with those of N. adminensis. Although each of these genera shows one or more similar features, none of them accommodates the salient morphological characteristics of N. adminensis. Therefore, a new genus, Sabbea gen. nov., is herein described, and Navicula adminensis is formally transferred to the new genus as Sabbea adminensis comb. nov. The genus Sabbea is characterized by uniseriate striae composed of small, rounded areolae occluded externally by individual hymenes, a rather simple raphe structure with straight, short proximal ends and short terminal raphe fissures, open girdle bands with double perforation and a very shallow mantle.

Apreendemos a formação das professoras das escolas rurais de Uberlândia-MG (entre 1960 e 1980) e os seus significados para a prática docente. Realizamos entrevistas com seis professoras e consultamos: censo escolar; jornais; relatórios; e atas das reuniões escolares da Prefeitura de Uberlândia. Quando iniciaram a carreira, cinco de nossas entrevistadas eram leigas e, somente ao final de 1960, começaram a frequentar cursos de formação que, segundo narraram, foram significativos para as suas práticas em sala de aula e para as promoções na carreira. Concluímos que, para construírem as suas próprias práticas e sem dominar os saberes sistematizados da profissão, as professoras apropriaram-se das experiências adquiridas quando se alfabetizaram e do pouco assimilado nos cursos de formação.

Resumo: Em 1987, quando foi publicada a coleção de poemas de João Cabral de Melo Neto intitulada Crime na Calle Relator, “A sevilhana que não se sabia” era o segundo na ordem de exposição, logo após o poema homônimo ao livro. Aquele poema foi reproduzido como o primeiro da coleção seguinte do autor, intitulada Sevilha andando (1989), ao passo que deixou de figurar nas reedições do livro em que constara de início. Assim, o poema que era de um livro passou a compor outro, exclusivamente, por iniciativa do próprio autor, para quem importava a constituição do artefato estético que o livro vem a ser. Este traço diferencial na trajetória do autor incide retrospectivamente sobre toda sua obra, a partir desse evento marcante que interfere na compreensão do que constitui um livro, seja sua publicação ou a reunião de poemas que demanda uma apreciação particularizada, de caso a caso, dos poemas entrelaçados entre si. Acompanhando a repercussão do poema no contexto da obra poética em pauta, será feito um cotejo entre as edições disponíveis dos volumes implicados para se chegar a uma compreensão mais palpável do poema, perspectivado ao longo daquela produção poética.Palavras-chave: poesia brasileira moderna; João Cabral de Melo Neto; estilo; editoração.Abstract: In 1987, when the João Cabral de Melo Neto’s collection of poems was published under the title of Crime in Calle Relator (1987), “A sevilhana que não se sabia” was the second in the order of exhibition, shortly after the poem of the same name to the book. That poem was reproduced as the first of the author’s next collection, titled Sevilha andando (1989), while it ceased to appear in the reissues of the book in which it was initially listed. Thus, the poem that was from one book began to compose another, exclusively, at the initiative of the author himself, for whom it mattered the constitution of the aesthetic artifact that the book comes to be. This differential trait in the author’s trajectory focuses retrospectively on all his work, from this remarkable event that interferes with the understanding of what constitutes a book, be it its publication or the meeting of poems that demands an appreciation particularized, on a case-by-case basis, of the poems intertwined with each other. Following the repercussion of the poem in the context of the poetic work, it will be made a comparison between the available editions of the volumes involved, to reach a more palpable understanding of the poem, perspectived throughout that poetic production.Keywords: modern Brazilian poetry; João Cabral de Melo Neto; style; publishing.

ABSTRACT Members of the Arenaviridae family have been isolated from mammalian hosts in disparate geographic locations, leading to their grouping as Old World types (i.e., lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus [LCMV], Lassa fever virus [LFV], Mopeia virus, and Mobala virus) and New World types (i.e., Junin, Machupo, Tacaribe, and Sabia viruses) (C. J. Peters, M. J. Buchmeier, P. E. Rollin, and T. G. Ksiazek, p. 1521–1551, in B. N. Fields, D. M. Knipe, and P. M. Howley [ed.], Fields virology, 3rd ed., 1996; P. J. Southern, p. 1505–1519, in B. N. Fields, D. M. Knipe, and P. M. Howley [ed.], Fields virology, 3rd ed., 1996). Several types in both groups—LFV, Junin, Machupo, and Sabia viruses—cause severe and often lethal human diseases. By sequence comparison, we noted that eight Old World and New World arenaviruses share several amino acids with the nucleoprotein (NP) that consists of amino acids (aa) 118 to 126 (NP 118–126) (RPQASGVYM) of LCMV that comprise the immunodominant cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) epitope forH-2 d mice (32). This Ld-restricted epitope constituted >97% of the total bulk CTLs produced in the specific antiviral or clonal responses ofH-2 d BALB mice. NP 118–126 of the Old World arenaviruses LFV, Mopeia virus, and LCMV and the New World arenavirus Sabia virus bound at high affinity to Ld. The primary H-2 d CTL anti-LCMV response as well as that of a CTL clone responsive to LCMV NP 118–126 recognized target cells coated with NP 118–126 peptides derived from LCMV, LFV, and Mopeia virus but not Sabia virus, indicating that a common functional NP epitope exists among Old World arenaviruses. Use of site-specific amino acid exchanges in the NP CTL epitope among these arenaviruses identified amino acids involved in major histocompatibility complex binding and CTL recognition.

The research approach is quantitative with causal associative research methods. The population in this study were consumers of Sabana Fried Chicken, Cilincing Branch, North Jakarta, while the research sample was 100 consumers of Sabana Fried Chicken, Cilincing Branch, North Jakarta who met the criteria. The data in this study are primary data by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is path analysis using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study concluded that 1) Price had a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for fast food consumers at Sabana Fried Chicken Cilincing Branch, North Jakarta, 2) Word of mouth had a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for fast food consumers in Sabana.
