This article examines the role of Alisher Navoiy in the development of the Uzbek literary language and analyzes his literary heritage. The advantages of the Turkic language, as discussed in his work Muhokamatu-l-lug‘atayn, as well as his contribution to Uzbek poetry through the Khamsa collection, are highlighted. Additionally, the use of Arabic and Persian words in the poem Sab’ai Sayyor and their literary significance are explored. Wodehouse, whose incomparable prose, as elegant as it is funny, is always very soothing. The thirty students in Conservation Ecology were very good this year. Most of them were informed, outdoors-loving, committed, hard working people who cared for each other and seemed to enjoy the class. Hydrodynamic pressure between two plates is a function of the displacement, velocity and dimensional parameters of the circular plates. We present the Spoken Academic Belgian Dutch (SABeD) corpus and a description of its construction. It was compiled from selected first bachelor academic lectures in higher education institutions in Flanders, as students indicate that the language used in such lectures is one of the hurdles for comprehension and academic success.
