Abstract:
Abdullahi Ahmed an-Na'im is deeply influenced by the Islamic Reform Movement in Sudan pioneered by Mahmoud Mohamed Taha. Together with other Taha supporters, an-Na'im formed a sociopolitical community that became famous for Tahaism. This article wants to show how the relationship of the two minds is so close and how Islamic legal thought of an-Na'im is partially influenced by Taha. In terms of historical research methodology, it can be said that Taha is a history of idea for an-Na'im. This is because the thought of an-Na'im turns out to be the same as Taha in terms of the importance of the naskh, and differs in worship, mysticism, socialism, and public reason. Moreover, the underlying power of the theorem an-Na'im is not merely an individual, not of individual processes aware of its importance in the flow of thought, but rather of the collective goals of a group that underlie individual thought. Most of his thoughts cannot be properly understood as long as their relation to life or to the social implications of human life are not taken into account.
---

Abstract:

Abstract:
Each year, the Harvard Islamic Finance Information Program (HIFIP) of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies organizes this forum. This year's forum had an international flavor, thanks to participants from Malaysia, South Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Participants were mainly finance industry representatives from the Islamic Development Bank, the Kuwait Finance House, HSBC Amanah Finance, the Dow Jones Islamic Index, Bank Indonesia, Freddie Mac, and others. In addition, several experts in Islamic economics and finance, such as Monzer Kahf, M. Nejatullah Siddiqi, Nizam Yaquby, and Frank E. Vogel participated. Many other participants sought to educate themselves about the principles of Islamic finance and the availability of lslamically approved financial products. Overall, the forum was more of an opportunity for those interested in Islamic finance to meet each other, network, and present some of their latest lslamically approved financial instruments and contracts. The forum featured a few research papers and many case studies. Most presentations and panel discussions focused on current and past experiences in the Islamic finance industry, challenges facing the development of new financial instruments, effective marketing and delivery of products to end-users, and areas where applying jjtihad is most needed and promising. Participants also discussed the need to develop relevant financial institutions to strengthen the stability and perfonnance of Islamic financial service providers ( e.g., managing liquidity and risk). Thomas Mullins, HIFIP's executive director, welcomed the guests. He stressed the Islamic finance industry's important role in creating a dialogue between I slam and the West - a role made especially relevant after September 11. Forum chairperson Samuel Hayes, Jacob Schiff Professor Emeritus at Harvard Business School, used his opening remarks to commend the industry on its many accomplishments during the past decade and outlined areas for improvement. In his introduction, Saif Shah Mohammed, president of the Harvard Islamic Society, suggested that the industry should prer vide relevant services to students, such as Shari'ah-compliant educational loans and young professional programs. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, president of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), delivered the keynote address: "The Emerging Islamic Financial Architecture: The Way Ahead." He discussed the infrastructure required to strengthen the Islamic financial industry, which is in a process of evolution. Abstract:
Ayatollah Khoei expressed various views by other scholars besides expressing his views on general reliabilities. Concerning People of Consensus, he believes that transmission of hadith does not mean all the hadiths narrated by each of people of consensus by Imams, but the mursal hadith or the hadith narrated by the poor narrator is acceptable, expressing the majesty and position of hadith. Concerning An Al-Saghat, he believes that Ja'far ibn Bashir has narrated from the poor narrators such as Saleh bin al-Hakam and Abdullah bin Mohammed Jaefi, however how it can say that he has been being narrated from reliability. Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Nasr as narrated by Shaykh Tusi is among three jurists who have been being narrated from reliability. Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei has mentioned name of 115 Sheikhs among which 53 members are reliable and others are unknown, nonsense or poor. He said that there is no accompaniment between accompany and reliability, as we do not know the prophet’s accompanions just due to their accompaniment with him. Seeking for mercy and forgiveness are the assignments recommended in religion, mentioned that it can seek forgiveness for the unfaithful believers. Therefore, if the people like Sheikh Mofid or Sheikh Sadough seek forgiveness for a person, this does not mean their reliability.

Abstract:
The study deals with the concepts of the term “acceptable” when the scholars of Hadith in general and Hafiz Ibn Hajar in his book approximation of refinement. The scholars differed in determining the degree of modernity accepted to four opinions: First: weak speech progresses to follow up to Hassan others, and this opinion Sheikh Ahmed Shaker, Sheikh Shu’aib Arnaout, Dr. Bashar Marouf Awad, because Hafiz said that the narrator of the sixth rank Lin talk only if he retires, And the modern speech described for the weak talk as is known to each student of modern science. This is the view of Dr. Walid Al-Ani, followed by some researchers, including Dr. Khuloud Al-Hakban, Dr. Shahid Karim Falih, and his article is a summary of what Dr. Al-Waid Al-Ani wrote. They supported their opinion with evidence: Including Ibn Hibban in his Saheeh, Ibn Khuzaymah in his Saheeh, and Al-Quds in the chosen. Accepted at Ibn Hajar corresponds to Imam al-Bukhaari. Ibn Hajar improved himself to the Acceptedspeech. The third view is that it is good for others, and this is the view of Professor Muhammad ‘Issa Khalifa Al-Hussein. His argument is that many scholars, such as Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar, have improved some of the hadeeths of the narrated narrators if they have a different path. A follow-up, and the owner of this view to consider him as a follow-up promotion to Hassan others. This is the opinion of Professor Mohammed Ragheb Rashed Al-Jaitan and his argument: that the accepted is another term for the unknown or unknown, and the majority of scholars respond to the novel of the unknown because of its lack of justice and restraint, and that the conditions of the accepted Ibn Hajar does not contribute to the removal Ibn Hajar himself has set the conditions for invoking the unknown hadith to authenticate him, not from the uniqueness of his novel or from the uniqueness of his novel if he is worthy of documentation, and that the hadith An unknown person or a person who is conceited does not call out a response or accept it unless he is aware of his condition. It is clear from the above that it is acceptable either to be anonymous to the eye if one is narrated from it, and it is not related to the documentation and the wound, or it is unknown, if two or more of them are narrated by him, and he is unaware of the documentation or the wound. The sheikhs, whether he is unique to this imam or narrated by others, or narrated by the two Sahihs in their saheehs, or the ruling of imams on the health of his hadeeth or his hadeeth.

Abstract:
Background:Involving the patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in the assessment of their disease may increase their adherence to treatment, improve the disease outcomes and facilitate the application of telehealth. We previously reported an excellent concordance between the Disease Activity Score (DAS-28) performed by physicians and patients at the baseline visit of this prospective study (1).Objectives:To evaluate the persistence of the concordance between the physician’ and the patient’s assessment of disease activity in RA using DAS-28 after one year. Methods:At the baseline visit, patients with RA from 7 Middle Eastern Arab Countries (MEAC) were briefed about DAS-28 by their rheumatologist during a routine consultation and given smartphone access to a video in Arabic language explaining the performance of DAS-28. At 3, 6 and 12 months (± 3 months), the patients were asked to self-report DAS-28, blinded to the physician’s assessment. Concordance between the continuous DAS-28 at each visit was calculated using paired t-test numerically and the Bland-Altman method graphically. Agreement between physician- and patient-DAS categories (remission, low-, moderate- and high disease activity) was calculated at each visit using weighted kappa for category comparison. Weighted kappa of the different agreements were compared over time using their respective confidence intervals (CIs). Predictive factors of positive concordance between physician and patient-DAS were identified using binary logistic regression. Results:The study included 428 patients over a period of three years (2018 to 2020). The mean age of participants was 49.8 years, 82.5% were females, 44.3% had a university degree and the mean disease duration was 11.4 years. At baseline, the average patient-DAS was higher (4.06 (±1.52)) than the physician-DAS (3.97 (±1.52)). The mean difference was -0.09 [95%CI -0.14; -0.04] and most of the pairs were within the limit of agreement in the Bland-Altman graph, indicating a good concordance, particularly in cases of remission.During the study follow-up, 299 patients consulted for visit 2 (69.9% of the total population), 232 for visit 3 (54.2%) and 199 for visit 4 (46.5%). The weighted kappa was 0.80 [95%CI 0.76;0.85] at visit 1 and 0.79 [95%CI 0.72;0.88] at visit 4 (Figure 1 showing kappa for DAS-28, CDAI and SDAI as well). A minor numerical decrease in kappa was observed over time; however, the CIs were overlapping over the four visits and the agreement was considered stable, remaining in the excellent range. At visit 4, a positive concordance between the physician- and the patient-DAS was associated with the profession (lower in blue collar, p=0.001), the educational level (higher in high school and university, p=0.034) and the baseline physician’s DAS (higher in high disease activity, p=0.46).Conclusion:The agreement between the DAS-28 performed by the physician and by the patient was excellent at baseline and remained stable over one year. A positive concordance was associated with the profession, the educational level and the level of disease activity. The present study can help the rheumatologist make informed decisions about the patients who may be suitable for a remote evaluation of their disease activity, that can be of particular interest in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.References:[1]Ziade N, Saad S, al Mashaleh M, et al. Abstract:
If the Muslim scholars made an incredible effort to find solutions to the problems faced by Muslims, that doesn’t mean that they solved all the intricacies and dealt with all problems, and answered all the questions. Many, in fact, remain unanswered! As God said: “what Ootim of science only a little”. As a result people tend to use the term “I don’t Know” when faced with particular scientific difficulties as Imam Malik did. The expression “I don’t know” is considered a protection from arrogance and self-admiration, and to prevent people from saying what they don’t know, as god said,” step aside from what you have no knowledge of”. I will try to identify the most important thing that this precious manuscript letter subject of this topic dealt with in a short, detailed, explanation, with analysis and representation.

Abstract:
Objective: The aim of this work was to assess the antimicrobial activity and investigation of lipoidial contents of F. viridis and T. ehrenbergii wildly distributed in Gebel Elba, Southeast of Egypt for the first time.
Methods: The phytochemical investigation of the ether extracts of F. viridis and T. ehrenbergii carried out by saponification of two lipoidial extracts and using gas chromatography (GC) with reference standards. The antimicrobial activity of the ether extract was performed as in vitro studies by diffusion agar technique for selected +ve and –ve gram bacterial and fungal strains with reference used drug as a control.
Results: The findings of this study revealed that the two lipoidial extracts have sufficient steroidal and fatty acid methyl ester compounds where F. viridis contain (22) hydrocarbons, (6) sterols and (14) fatty acid methyl esters while, T. ehrenbergii contain (20) hydrocarbons, (5) sterols and (17) fatty acids where β-amyrin and stigmasterol and palmitic and Tricyclic acid were the major concentration of steroid and fatty acid methyl ester contents of F. viridis and T. ehrenbergii respectively. The lipoidial extract of F. viridis and T. ehrenbergii exhibited moderate antimicrobial activity against all tested strains as compared to reference used drug.
Conclusion: It can be elicited that the ethereal extracts of two plants have moderate antimicrobial activity against selected strains.

Abstract:
Objective: Plant based drugs have been a solution in the search for more cost-effective and less harmful drugs for the treatment of neoplasia. Citrus aurantium L. (Rutaceae) is abundant in Brazil and D-limonene, a monoterpene used in the prevention and treatment of neoplasia, was identified as a major compound in the oil of this specie. Objective of current study includes estimation of anti-tumor activity of Citrus aurantium L. (Rutaceae) (crude extract, essential oil and D-limonene) against Ehrlich carcinoma, as well as their phytochemical evaluation (D-limonene and essential oil).
Methods: There was a randomized non-clinical trial in which were used adult male mice (Balb-C). Four groups of animals were used having 6 numbers of animal in each group. All groups were inoculated with the Ehrlich tumor and then received the treatment (control, crude extract, essential oil and D-limonene) by oral route daily (28 day treatment). Essential oil was obtained by hydro-distillation and analyzed by the means of GC (Gas Chromatography) that was attached to mass spectrometry. In last of the observations hemogram was obtained.
Results: Animals treated with the essential oil has shown no significant difference compared to the group treated with D-limonene. The group treated with crude extract had a growth inhibition close to the essential oil and D-limonene groups.
Conclusion: It´s concluded that the essential oil and the crude extract of Citrus aurantium, L. (Rutaceae) can become therapeutic agents because of their anti-tumor activity with no toxicity to the blood cells and have low cost of production. Further studies are necessary, so they can be used in the treatment of neoplasia in humans. The chromatographic and spectrometric analyzes indicated the presence of other components in smaller amounts in the essential oil, which suggests that they could have a synergic activity to the D-limonene.
