Background Healthy lifestyle habits formed during young adulthood may have a sustaining impact on health across later life. The current study aimed to test the theoretical model of factors (selected demographic variables, knowledge of heart disease, health belief related to cardiovascular disease (CVD), self-efficacy, cues to action, and screening intention) influencing health-promoting behaviours among Malaysian university students. Methods In a cross-sectional survey, the undergraduate students in Universiti Sains Malaysia were invited to complete the self-administered questionnaires. Participants were selected using a purposive sampling method. The proposed hypothesised model was analysed using a structural equation modelling with Mplus 7.3 program. A total of 788 (70.7% female) undergraduate students with a mean age of 20.2 (SD = 1.02) participated in the study. The primary outcome of knowledge, health beliefs, and health-promoting behaviours related to CVD were measured by questionnaires namely: Knowledge of Heart Disease, Health Beliefs Related to CVD, and Health Promoting Lifestyle Profiles-II. Results The final hypothetical structural model showed a good fit to the data based on several fit indices: with comparative fit index (CFI) at .921, standardised root mean square residual (SRMR) at .037, and root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) at .044 (90% CI: .032, .054). The final structural model supported 13 significant path estimates. These variables explained 12% of the total variance in health-promoting behaviours. Through perceived benefits, total knowledge had an indirect effect on health-promoting behaviours. Conclusion The results suggest that perceived barriers, perceived benefits, family history of CVD, and screening intention enable young adults to engage in health-promoting behaviours.

La création est l'oeuvre du Dieu trinitaire. Dieu et le monde constituent deux réalités ontologiquement différentes. Dieu est la première réalité que nous appellons incréée parce qu'elle existe toujours et elle ne doit pas son existence à une autre réalité. Le monde est la deuxième réalité créée qui est venue à l'existence à partir du néant où elle peut retourner. Il reste à l'existence grâce à la volonté de Dieu qui communique avec le monde à travers ses énergies divines, tandis que son essence reste inaccessible. La création de l'homme à l'image et à la ressemblance de Dieu constitue le coeur de l'anthropologie cyrillienne. Cyrille ne fait pas de distinction entre "à l'image" et "à la ressemblance". Cyrille lie l'événement de la chute avec la création à partir du néant ; ce qui signifie que la nature des êtres créés est susceptible de changer (mutabilité). La chute ne doit pas être interprétée selon des principes juridiques ou mythiques. Il la considère comme un accident et elle ne provoque aucun changement dans les dispositions de Dieu envers l'homme<br>The creation is the work of the Trinitarian God. God and world are two differents ontological realities. God is the first reality which we call non-created, because he always existed and derives its existence from no other reality. The world is the second reality, which is created and which came to existence from nothing and can return to nothing. God maintains it in existence by his will and communicates with it through his divines energies, even though his essence remains inaccessible. The creation of man according to God'image and likeness is at the heart of Cyril's anthropology. He does not distinguish between according to image and according to likeness. Cyril ties the event of the fall with the creation ex nihilo which implies that the natures of the created beings can change (mutability). The fall must not be interpreted along juridicals or mythicals lines ; rather, he considers it as an accident which occasions no change in God's dispositions towards man

Ce travail s'intéresse avant tout à la sotériologie de Cyrille. En lisant ses œuvres, on est frappé par le fait qu'il ne s'intéresse pas à une réflexion philosophique sur l'homme, mais seulement à la théologie : on ne trouve rien sur l'âme, l'esprit, les liens entre l'âme et le corps. . . Cyrille ne parle que du pêché, de la mort, de la corruption, du salut, de l'incorruptibilité, de l'esprit saint. . . La typologie Adam-Christ se révèle structurante pour la théologie de Cyrille : c'est une clef de sa conception du salut. Mais la notion de participation est elle aussi décisive pour comprendre comment tout homme peut recevoir les biens que le Christ a reçus pour lui-même. Sur ce point, l'eucharistie joue un rôle très important, bien plus que le baptême. On peut distinguer deux logiques, la logique physique et la logique éthique, lorsque Cyrille décrit la chute primitive et ses effets, comme aussi le salut et ses modes de transmission. Ces deux logiques doivent être mises en rapport avec la typologie Adam-Christ, et avec la théologie de la participation. Enfin ce travail tente de "passer de l'œuvre du salut à l'être du sauveur". Grace à cette approche sotériologique de la christologie, il devient possible de montrer l'insuffisance du schéma logos-sarx pour rendre compte de l'enseignement de Cyrille sur l'être du Christ : l'humanité du Christ, du point de vue physique comme du point de vue éthique, joue un rôle essentiel en sa pensée<br>This inquiry is first interested with the soteriology of Cyril of Alexandria. By reading his works. It is noteworthy that he has no interest for a philosophical reflection on man, but only for a theological one: nothing about soul, mind, or about the links between soul and body. . . Cyril speaks only about sin (the transgression of Adam), death, corruption, salvation, incorruptibility, Holy Spirit. . . The Adam Christ typology proves to be a structure of Cyril’s theology, a key to an understanding of his view of salvation. But the notion of participation is also decisive to understand how men can receive the gifts that Christ has received for himself. Eucharist plays a very important role (more than baptism). We can discern two logics, the physical and the ethical, when Cyril describes the primitive fall and its effects, and the salvation and its ways of transmission. These two logics must be connected with the Adam Christ typology, and with the theology of participation. At last this work tries to pass "from the work of salvation to the being of the saviour". By this soteriological approach of the Christology, it is possible now to show that the logos-sarx Christology is not a satisfactory explanation of what Cyril teaches about Christ’s being: humanity of Christ, physically and ethically considered, has an essential place in his system

Consacrée à l’étude christologique des anciennes anaphores arméniennes, ce travail regroupe cinq documents : l’ancienne anaphore arménienne de Basile, l’anaphore d’Athanase d’Alexandrie, l’anaphore de Grégoire le Théologien, l’anaphore de Sahak et l’anaphore de Cyrille d’Alexandrie. Il est constitué de deux parties principales. La première, consacrée à l’étude des sources, fournit l’édition critique des anaphores de Grégoire, de Sahak et de Cyrille, ainsi que la traduction française de l’intégralité des cinq anaphores. La seconde partie, consacrée à l’étude de leur christologie, met en lumière la spécificité de la pensée christologique arménienne en confrontant leurs terminologies et leurs problématiques christologiques à celles des sources liturgiques, patristiques et dogmatiques d’origines grecque, arménienne et syriaque. De cette étude, il ressort que la christologie des anaphores arméniennes a connu une élaboration progressive entre le Ve et le Xe siècle, évolution qu’il est possible de scinder en trois étapes. Une première période, cappadocienne et cyrillienne, antérieure aux échanges arméno-syriaques du milieu du VIe siècle, transparaît dans la christologie de l’anaphore de Basile. Entre le milieu du VIe et la fin du VIIIe siècle, ce fut une nouvelle étape de franchie, d’inspiration syriaque, comme en témoignent les anaphores de Grégoire, Sahak et Cyrille. Enfin, une dernière période fut inaugurée par la pensée christologique de Yovhannēs Awjnec‘i, opérant une synthèse des christologies cappadocienne, cyrilienne et syriaque, ce dont témoigne l’anaphore d’Athanase. Cette évolution rend nécessaire de ne plus considérer la christologie arménienne comme une réalité statique et homogène, mais dynamique. De tels éclaircissements sur l’héritage christologique de l’Eglise d’Arménie ne peuvent que lui ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives<br>Dedicated to the christological study of ancient Armenian anaphoras, this work comprises five documents : the ancient Armenian anaphora of Basil, the anaphora of Athanasius of Alexandria, the anaphora of Gregory the Theologian, the anaphora of Sahak and the anaphora of Cyril of Alexandria. It is constituted of two main parts. The first one, dedicated to the study of sources, offers a critical edition of the anaphoras of Gregory, Sahak and Cyril, as well as French translation of the entirety of the five anaphoras. The second part, dedicated to the christological study of this texts, highlights the specificity of the Armenian christological thinking by comparing their christological terminologies and issues to those of liturgical, patristical and dogmatic sources of Greek, Armenian and Syriac origins

Avec Cyrille d’Alexandrie (v. 378-444), s’ouvre une nouvelle période dans l’histoire de l’exégèse alexandrine. Le commentaire chrétien de la Bible, confié jusque-là à des didascales, passe aux mains du puissant évêque d’Alexandrie, qui s’affranchit nettement de l’allégorisme des grands maîtres (Origène, Piérius, Didyme l’Aveugle) et emprunte au modèle exégétique d’Eusèbe de Césarée et des Antiochiens, tout en conservant une coloration alexandrine. Cette évolution est particulièrement sensible dans les Commentaires suivis sur Isaïe et sur les Douze prophètes, où le neveu de Théophile propose un modèle d’interprétation plus équilibré, en insistant sur l’importance de la dimension historico-littérale de l’Écriture. À travers une analyse approfondie de sa méthode exégétique, cette thèse s’attache à la fois à faire ressortir l’originalité de la démarche cyrillienne et à souligner son rôle déterminant dans le renouvellement de la tradition alexandrine. Après le rappel des affinités les plus caractéristiques avec Origène, grammairien et allégoriste, cette étude a accordé une attention minutieuse à l’émergence d’une exégèse post-origénienne sous la plume de Cyrille : des changements de termes, de procédés, de contenu et de finalité qui témoignent d’une volonté de réforme. En dernier lieu, a été abordée la question épineuse des sources, en distinguant celles qui présentent uniquement des parallèles avec l’évêque d’Alexandrie de celles qui ont exercé une véritable influence sur lui. The Christian interpretation of the Bible, previously assigned to teachers, passes now into the hands of the powerful bishop of Alexandria, who clearly overcomes the allegorism of the great masters (Origen, Pierius, Didymus the Blind) whilst borrowing elements from the exegetical model of Eusebius of Caesarea and the Antiochians, maintaining yet the Alexandrian colouring. This evolution is particularly noticeable in the Commentaries on Isaiah and on the Twelve Prophets, where Theophilus’ nephew proposes a more balanced model of interpretation, by emphasizing the importance of the historical-literal dimension of the Scripture. Through a detailed analysis of his exegetical method, this dissertation seeks to highlight the originality of the Cyrilline approach and to underscore Cyril’s role in the renewal of the Alexandrian tradition. After going through the most characteristic affinities with Origen, grammarian and allegorist, particular attention is given to the emergence of a post-Origen exegesis in the writings of Cyril: changes of terms, method, content and purpose which attest to his commitment to reform. The present study addresses, finally, the thorny question of Cyril’s sources, by distinguishing those which show only parallels with him, from those which really influenced him. La question de l'oiseau dans la poésie contemporaine se pose avec une certaine évidence. Impossible, semble-t-il, d'ouvrir un recueil de poèmes sans tomber à de nombreuses reprises sur des références explicites à l'oiseau : à son vol bien sûr, mais aussi à son chant, à sa présence discrète mais permanente. Comment expliquer cette re��currence dans la production contemporaine ? Et qu'est-ce qui constitue la singularité de l'oiseau dans le règne animal ? Après avoir justifié le rapprochement des trois poètes de notre corpus, nous avons fondé notre travail selon des perspectives analogiques et transdisciplinaires. Renouant à un certain degré avec la mystique médiévale, la poésie cherche les frontières de l'homme dans l'univers-macrocosme. L'oiseau, qui semble une limite ultime pour le psychisme humain, nous permet de redéfinir l'animalité selon un principe de "consanguinité" (Saint-John Perse). Contre la propension moderne à l'émiettement, au dispersé, au catalogique, cette pensée analogique à l'œuvre dans la production poétique de nos auteurs, cherche à reconstituer la trame et à "recoudre l'univers". La dimension métaphysique, souvent non revendiquée chez nos poètes, reste ainsi constamment sous-jacente. Au-delà d'une lecture du réel qui s'appuie sur la précision de la science, une "autre dimension", proche de l'Ouvert rilkéen, imprègne leurs œuvres. L'oiseau, à travers les motifs du vol et du chant, dessine alors les contours d'une poétique liée à la modernité esthétique<br>The question of the bird in contemporary poetry seems to be obvious. It's really impossible to open a collection of poems without seeing lots of explicit references to the bird : his fly, his singing, and his discreet but permanent presence. How to explain this recurrence in contemporary production ? And what's the foundation of the bird's particularity in the animal kingdom ? After justifying the connection of the three poets of our corpus, we based our work on analogical and transdiciplinary viewpoints. Reviving the medieval mysticism, poetry looks for the limits of human nature in the world-macrocosm. The bird, that seems the last limit for the human psychism, allows us to redefine animality in accordance with a principle of "consanguinity" (Saint-John Perse). Against the modern proclivity to dispersion and catalogue, this analogical thought circulating in the poems of our authors, wants to reconstruct the weft, to "sew up the universe". The metaphysical dimension, that is not often clearly claimed by our poets, is always underlying. Beyond a description of the real world, that is leaning on the precision of the science, another dimension, verging on rilkean "Ouvert", impregnates their works. The bird, through the patterns of the flight and the singing, draws the lines of poetics linked by aesthetic modernity
