Im Jahre 1991 ging Sambia von einem autoritären Regierungssystem zu einer „Mehrparteiendemokratie“ über. Esta pesquisa pretende demonstrar as principais transformações da música das escolas de samba do Rio de Janeiro através da transcrição, catalogação e análise de suas estruturas melódicas, harmônicas e formais mais recorrentes.
