Se ne ricava l'immagine di una istituzione in forte crescita, desiderosa di affermarsi come luogo di formazione e di perfezionamento negli studi psichiatrici di assoluta eccellenza e come manicomio-modello per le altre realtà italiane e straniere.

Abstract:
Il saggio riprende la storia delle origini e della affermazione della colonia-scuola "Antonio Marro", nata nel 1921 nell'ambito dell'ospedale psichiatrico "San Lazzaro" di Reggio Emilia. La colonia ricoverava bambini che presentavano anormalitŕ del carattere e della intelligenza; l'ammissione era strettamente vincolata al criterio dell'emendabilitŕ. Ogni alunno ammesso veniva esaminato perché si formulasse una doppia diagnosi, neuro-psichiatrica e pedagogica. Il fine principale della istituzione era quello di permettere a deficienti ed anormali di acquisire capacitŕ spendibili nel mondo del lavoro (solo mestieri manuali).

Abstract:
New scholarly insights about the sculptor and altar builder Antonio Michelazzi (Gradisca d’Isonzo, 1707 – Rijeka, 1771) have revealed him as a far more complex creative personality than it has been known so far. In this paper, the authors have attributed to him the marble statues of St John the Baptist and St Mark on the high altar of the parish church of San Biagio in Cinto Caomaggiore. Michelazzi’s authorship of the marble altar of the Holy Cross in the parish church of the Assumption of Mary in Rijeka has also been confirmed, based on a certificate from 1740 on the receipt of 150 gold coins for work on this altar. Besides Michelazzi’s statues in Cinto, there is a statue of Faith on the high altar, identified as work of the Venetian sculptor Francesco Cabianca (Venice, 1666-1737). A number of other sculptures have been attributed to him, including two marble angels in the parish church of Preganziol, which have been dated in 1697 and were originally located in the church of San Cristoforo in Udine. Cabianca is the author of four marble statues of the Evangelists (auction house), as well as of sculptural decoration on the high altar of the parish church of Sant’Andrea in Cereda. His catalogue of private commissions has been enriched with five newly attributed marble busts from the second decade of the 18th century. These include the busts of Flora and Apollo in the Winter Garden of Saint Petersburg, a bust of a girl (auction house) and two busts of girls from the convent of San Lazzaro degli Armeni in Venice. The marble relief of Ecce Homo in the church of Il Redentore in Venice and the angels on the altar of the Blessed Sacrament in the church of St Simeon in Zadar have also been attributed to Cabianca. Finally, a terracotta sculpture of St John the Evangelist (auction house) has been identified as the first model for a large marble statue of the same saint at the Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice.

Abstract:
Riqualificazione energetica ed architettonica del comparto urbano AR.B.2 in San Lazzaro di Savena. Basandomi su una idea preliminare di Masterplan fornitami dallo studio tecnico del Comune, sono stati individuati all’interno del comparto una serie di interventi da realizzare, convalidati da analisi dello stato di fatto e di laboratori di urbanistica partecipata. Attraverso una stima dei costi di intervento parziali e complessivi, la proposta di riqualificazione si basa sulla densificazione del comparto al fine di attivare un mercato che possa portare l’intero comparto urbano a NZEB. Attraverso la realizzazione e la vendita di 17861mq di nuova superficie utile, si può ricavare l’intero importo delle lavorazioni per portare il comparto a NZEB desiderato. Secondo i calcoli e le stime quello che si evince è che per poter iniziare i lavori è sufficiente realizzare 7050mq di nuova superficie utile. Il volano dei lavori, è rappresentata dalla realizzazione del polo scolastico Jussi-Donini. Il progetto prevede la ristrutturazione e l’ampliamento della scuola con la realizzazione di nuove aule scolastiche e di una mensa a servizio degli studenti. Gli interventi studiati nel dettaglio e proposti all’interno di questa parte di comparto urbano portano l’edificio esistente da 5395 mq con un indice di prestazione energetica di involucro pari a 170 kWh/mqa a 7750 mq con un indice di prestazione energetica di involucro pari a 36 kWh/mqa.

Abstract:
This paper aims to retrace the Armenian Studies’ tradition in Venice. This tradition moved from the firsts scientific publications edited by the Mechitarist Congregation of San Lazzaro to Ca’ Foscari University’s first chair of Armenian Studies, led by father Levon Zekyan in 1976. During that year, Adriano Alpago Novello founded the Study and Documentation Centre of Armenian Culture that in 1992 moved from Milan to Venice. The present paper focuses on the legacy of Alpago Novello through the analysis of his working methods and results in the context of the history of Armenian art and architecture. His methodology belongs to the field of the ecology of art.
