Abstract:
The article analyzes the challenges that have arisen in the health resort industry of the Republic of Crimea with relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. It highlights a set of measures aimed at preventing negative consequences of the current situation and reducing risks. Some tools of Digital Marketing are examined, to help increase the competitiveness of collective accommodation facilities in Crimea. The health resort industry is one of the fields that have been badly affected by the spread of COVID-19. Despite the high demand for collective accommodation facilities in Crimea, after the opening of the 2020 holiday season, several significant problems have arisen in the health resort industry, which are different for different categories of collective accommodation facilities. All collective accommodation facilities in Crimea face several common problems caused by the pandemic: the problem of uncertainty; the possibility of decline in demand due to the opening of foreign resorts; the problem of ensuring the safety of employees and guests; the problem of organizing the leisure of guests; the problem of meeting all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor (the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights) with relation to COVID-19; the problem of creating comfortable conditions for vacationers. The success of the 2020 resort season in Crimea will depend on the COVID-19 situation. A large percentage of Russians is not ready to give up rest and tourist trips, which allows us to hope for a demand for tourist services. Crimea’s collective accommodation facilities have to carry out correct marketing policy aimed at winning new and retaining old customers, as well as improving the quality of services provided. The health resort enterprises in the Republic of Crimea need to maintain a balanced pricing policy so that the price of a service corresponds to its quality. It is advisable to load Crimean sanatoriums in part at the expense of budgetary funds. Many health resort enterprises in the Republic of Crimea need state support, which can be provided as tax benefits. State-owned health resorts are in need of budgetary investments aimed at improving their material and technical base. State support for private investment initiatives in the health resort industry is also advisable. The development of the medical base of Crimea’s health resort institutions is really urgent and will contribute to their year-round operation and an increase in their average sales. In the process of creating competitive health resort products, an important role belongs to the complex of marketing activities carried out in the Internet. Effective use of Digital Marketing tools is possible only in combination, to achieve a significant synergistic effect.

Abstract:
The data of the conducted research testify to the high potential of Ukraine, taking into account factors such as favourable climate, location near two seas and rich natural resources for healthcare and wellness tourism. Significant weaknesses have been identified, which consist of an outdated infrastructure of healthcare and wellness enter- prises and the narrow range of services provided by them. Only 67% of the total number of establishments of the sanatorium and resort complex have service departments inside, but even if they are available, most of the health-improvement facilities according to the requirements of the National Standard for Accommodation do not even correspond to category 1. In the course of the conducted research, methods of statistical analysis were applied to study the dynamics of the number of sanatoria and health facilities in Ukraine and the number of tourists. Methods for diagnosing the state of development and modeling (including SWOT analysis, cluster approach) were used to study the functioning of tourist territories of different taxonomic ranks. It was found on the basis of study that although Ukraine has all the resources for the development of healthcare tourism, it is still a depressed industry owing to numerous problems. The materials of this research can become a practical basis for the development of this kind of tourism. The main problems of development of tourist infrastructure of healthcare tourism are described. The directions of its development are proposed: construction of new hotels, recreation centers, shelters, hotels, camping sites, etc. and reconstruction of available accommodation facilities. It was found that a similar situation is observed in the places of public catering (their significant insufficiency negatively affects the development of this sphere of tourism ). It is proposed to create an innovative cluster of health-improving type on mono-territories, which will allow the best possible social and economic development projects to be designed and implemented, as well as helping to effectively build and implement a strategy for long-term development of the territory, which has favourable conditions for sanatorium and resort treatment

Results. The regional aspects of hotel development as a means of accommodation of tourists in Rivne region are studied, the number and capacity of establishments are estimated. As of 2017, there are 43 units in the region. Most hotels are concentrated within the city of Rivne and Rivne district. In the dynamics we observe an increase in the number of hotel establishments. In 2017, the capacity of hotels in the region decreased by 1.5 times, compared to 2010. We analyzed the health facilities of the region, which are undergoing significant transformations. The number of sanatoriums has decreased to 9 by 2015 and remains unchanged until now. This testifies to the crisis-stagnation phenomena in the sanatorium-resort sphere of the region. The number of people using the services of health resorts is decreasing. In the structure of the tourist accommodation industry an important place belongs to agro-villages. There were 60 rural estates in the region, which are considered as private accommodation for tourists. Most within the territories of Bereznivsky, Demydivsky and Zarichnensky districts, which are characterized by high natural resource potential. To increase the demand for accommodation for tourists in the region will help create a highly profitable tourism sector, able to produce and sell quality, competitive in the tourist market. Scientific novelty. The geographical and chronological aspects of the tourist accommodation industry of the studied region are revealed. Hotels and similar means of accommodation of tourists, specialized establishments as a part of sanatoria and camps of rest and a farmstead are systematically analyzed on an example of the Rivne area. Abstract:
The field of children's and youth tourism in contemporary Russia is regarded not only as a standalone sector within the broader tourism industry, but also as a strategic instrument for attaining national objectives. The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation declared 2025 the Year of Children's Recreation in the Education System. The Krasnodar Territory has consistently been and continues to be one of the leading regions for children's and youth recreation. The share of tourism in gross regional product is more than 6%. During the summer health campaign, the region receives the largest number of children in comparison with all other regions of the country. The performance indicators of collective accommodation facilities in the region are one of the indicators of the state of the children's and youth tourism. The study presents an in-depth analysis of the growth and evolution of children's health resort organisations, various types of children's summer health institutions, youth accommodation facilities in the form of hostels, campsites and motels in Russia, the Southern Federal District and Krasnodar Territory over the past eight years. The share of such organizations in the Krasnodar Territory was established, the average growth rates of a number of indicators were calculated. The average indicators of the activities of children's health resort organizations in the Krasnodar Territory were calculated based on the analysis of the functioning of 8 sanatoriums, in particular, the cost of a children's health resort voucher and the growth rate of prices for it, the growth of the volume of the state assignment for health resort treatment, the amount of funds allocated by the state for 1 bed-day. A comparative analysis of average prices in Russia and the Krasnodar Territory for a voucher to a children's health camp was conducted. The income generated by the hospitality sector in the Territory was subjected to analysis. It was determined that the Krasnodar Territory requires the development of low-budget recreational activities for children and youth as a prerequisite for fully realizing the region's tourist potential.

Abstract:
The aim of the author was to try to determine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the functioning of the city of Kołobrzeg in terms of the closings and openings of spa treatment and accommodation facilities in the largest Polish spa. Of all Polish health resorts, the city of Kołobrzeg has the largest concentration of tourist accommodation facilities in the country, officially, according to ‘Statistics Poland’ data for 2019, there are 35,363 places in a very attractive location with numerous residential, apartment and hotel investments. As the largest seaside resort, strongly dependent on its tourism and spa functions, it has over the last year struggled with various changes: the functioning of the accommodation base, a significant decrease in budget revenues, an increase in unemployment and at the same time a further intensification of housing, apartment and hotel investments. The course of these processes from February 2020 to March 2021 is an interesting case study showing how large seaside resorts with a leading spa function operated during the Covid-19 pandemic.
