Abstract:
Sandur mengisahkan tentang kehidupan masyarakat agraris, interaksi antarmasyarakat, bercocok tanam, hingga transisi masyarakat agraris menuju masyarakat urban.

Abstract.

Abstract:
AbstractFemales and males of a new species of the genus Mononchus were found in an alpine, glacial floodplain reach (2073 m a.s.l.) in the Großglockner region (Hohe Tauern National Park; Austria). Females of Mononchus sandur n. sp. are medium sized (1.5-1.8 mm) with body diam. of 45-65 μm. The buccal cavity is 28-35 × 13-15 μm in size with the dorsal tooth located 65-77% from the buccal cavity base. The distinct amphid openings (4 μm) are located 11 μm posterior to the head and anterior to the dorsal tooth apex. The general appearance of the female is characterised by the shape of the tail with its combination of length and slenderness (224-306 μm; c′ = 7.2-10.8). Males of M. sandur n. sp. are very similar to females with the exception of a shorter tail (147-159 μm). Males have 16 and 18 preanal supplements, 57-68 μm long spicula and 11-14 μm long gubernaculum. Morphometric measurements and ratios were determined for 20 females of M. sandur n. sp., M. truncatus and M. aquaticus, all co-occurring in the floodplain reach. One-way analysis of variance revealed that M. aquaticus, M. truncatus and M. sandur n. sp. differ significantly in 18 out of 20 morphometric traits. A cluster analysis of ten morphometric traits was done to allocate and separate the measurements of the 60 females. Three distinctly separate clusters arose. By calculating the Kappa coefficient (K), it could be shown that the partitioning of individuals in these three clusters was in complete accordance with the species determination (K = 1; P < 0.0001).

Abstract:
Unusual development of sandur sedimentary succession, an example from the Pleistocene of S PolandAn atypical lithological development of outwash deposits in the Carpathians Foreland (S Poland) shows lower and middle parts of the sedimentary succession that are characterized by sinuous palaeochannels. This channel facies consists of laterally accreted sands derived from side bars. The sedimentary environment was a proglacial system of anabranching channels, presumably of anastomosed type. The outwash channel pattern was most probably controlled by the raising base level of the fluvial system. Both proglacial and extraglacial waters were dammed by a sandur within a small upland valley. Aggradation and progradation of the glaciofluvial deposits resulted in progressive rising of the dammed lake level. The low hydraulic gradient of the outwash streams resulted in a sinuous planform as well as a low-energy style of deposition. Afterwards, the rising lake water was drained off through a low watershed and the entire valley became filled with outwash sediments. The bedrock morphology thus became buried and a typical unconfined sandur with a braided channel network developed during the last phase of the glaciomarginal sedimentation (upper part of the sedimentary succession under study).

Abstract:
In this article, dialect changes and variation among young schoolchildren in the island of Sandoy in the Faroe Islands are discussed. The fieldwork was made by a group of students at the University of the Faroe Islands in November 2019 under the guidance of this article’s author. The informants are two groups of 10 and 15 year old schoolchildren. By examining the young generation, we can get information about the ‘state of health’ of the dialect. Here three dialectal variables are examined: (i) The variation of definite and indefinite form of words for family members, for instance the dialectal form mamman ‘the mother’ and the Central Faroese form mamma ‘mother’; (ii) Personal and possessive pronouns in 1st and 2nd person plural in oblique case, for instance the dialect form [o:gʊn] ‘us’ and the Central Faroese form [ɔʰk:ʊn] ‘us’; (iii) The pronunciation of short ó with the dialectal variant [ɔ] and the Central Faroese form [œ], for instance [fɔlk] resp. [fœlk] ‘people’. The first variable shows clearly a tendency towards dialect change in the young generation: the indefinite forms are much more frequent than the dialect counterpart. The use of the pronouns shows a relatively high degree of variation: the dialect forms are more frequently used by the 10 than the 15 year old pupils. The pronunciation of short ó shows variation to a large extent. Here we see the same pattern as we saw for variable 2: the youngest pupils are more likely to use the dialect¬al form [ɔ] than the older ones. On the other hand, variation is much more common in the group of 15 year old pupils. This study shows both stability and change in the dialect of children in Sandoy: Stability in use of the dialectal forms of the personal and possessive pro¬nouns, and variation and change in the two other variables. In a couple of years an underwater tunnel will connect the island of Sandoy with the central part of the islands. In a future scenario this dialect study opens the possibility for comparative studies of the dialect of Sandoy before and after the opening of the tunnel.

Abstract:
Glaciers are a major component of the global climate system, adjusting to changes in climate over a range of timescales. Knowledge of the dynamics of contemporary glaciated landscapes will allow accurate reconstruction of glacier margin fluctuations within the landform and sedimentary record as well as predictions of the response of ice-marginal landscapes to future glacier margin fluctuations. Existing models of ice-marginal, proglacial landscape evolution focus primarily on landforms generated in response to single, relatively short-lived, highmagnitude large-scale events such as glacier surges or glacier outburst floods (jökulhlaups). Observations of these events have frequently been restricted to short time windows (days to several years) or inferred from stratigraphic sections and are therefore subject to misinterpretation. Relatively little research has been undertaken on the development of icemarginal and proglacial landscapes over decadal time-scales (101-102 years). This study examines the controls on the evolution of the ice-marginal landscape of Skeiðarárjökull over a decadal timescale. Skeiðarárjökull is a temperate, surge-type, piedmont outlet glacier located in south-east Iceland. Skeiðarárjökull, and its outwash plain Skeiðarársandur, have been subject to numerous surges and jökulhlaups and post-depositional modification due to the melt out of buried glacier ice, providing a valuable modern process-form analogue for landscape evolution at Pleistocene ice sheet margins. Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) were extracted from the aerial photographs taken at intervals over the past six decades to quantify the rate of landscape change over decadal time periods. This data, when combined with observations from aerial photographs of numerous suites of large-scale sub- and englacial features exposed by the glacier's recession permits models of the long-term response of proglacial regions to surges, jökulhlaups and glacier margin recession to be tested. This study developed a holistic model to describe the interdependence of glacier margin fluctuations, jökulhlaups and post-depositional modification and their impact on sandur evolution.

Abstract:
The area of Lycksabäcken northwest of Lycksele is a national interest of natural conservation because of its geological values with many unique landforms. Many of these landforms indicate that the deglaciation process in the area was very complex. However, the deglaciation process in the area has not previously been fully understood. The aim is to add to the knowledge of the events that took place during the last deglaciation. To do this, the glaciofluvial landforms in the area were mapped by studying aerial photographs with a Wild Aviopreter and a five-day field inventory of key areas for the interpretation. These landforms were then transferred to a map in ArcGIS in which scenarios of the deglaciation were constructed. The inversion from landform pattern to a scenario of the deglaciation was based on seven general assumptions and the attempt to create the least complex explanation of the origin of these landforms. The results show that the valley of Umeälven must have been blocked at least three times during the deglaciation in the area, which lead to a redirection of the meltwater flow into the area of Lycksabäcken. There, dead ice played a major role in the formation of the glaciofluvial landforms by damming lakes which enabled delta formation, the formation of many meltwater channels and a large sandur. During the field inventory a large amount of preglacially weathered rock surfaces was found in the area which would be interesting to investigate further.

Abstract:
The role of ice blocks in the creation of distinctive proglacial landscapes during and following glacier outburst floods (jökulhlaups) In recent years, it has been recognised that ice blocks form a major component of jökulhlaups. There are, however, very few published hypotheses of ice-block impact during and following jökulhlaups. The November 1996 jökulhlaup in southern Iceland, which transported ice blocks as large as 55 metres in diameter on to Skeioarärsandur, provided an opportunity to study ice-block impact produced during a high-magnitude flood. This thesis aims to (i) determine the impact of ice blocks on the morphology and sedimentology of proglacial river channels during and following a jökuihlaup, and (ii) provide a model which links distinctive landscapes created by ice blocks with specific controls on ice-block impact. A range of ice-block related features are produced during and following a jökulhlaup reflecting glacial and topographical constraints, ice-block characteristics and jökulhlaup hydraulics. In locations where sediment flux remains high throughout a flood, large ice blocks form kettle-scours. Rapid sediment deposition around ice blocks results in the formation and preservation of antidune stoss sides, entirely aggradational ice block obstacle shadows and hummocky topography. The grounding of ice blocks in flows of low sediment concentration or total exhumation of buried ice blocks results in the formation of classic U-shaped obstacle marks. Where channel geometry abruptly expands ice-block berms form. On outwash fans kettle holes and obstacle marks occur in distinct clusters. 11 Kettle holes form post-flood by the in situ melt of (1) progressively buried ice blocks and (2) small ice blocks incorporated into flow deposits. Ice block debris is superimposed onto obstacle marks and kettle holes and deposited on the post-flood streambed to form rimmed kettle holes and obstacle marks and ice-block till mounds respectively. Knowledge of associations between ice blocks and the bedforms and facies produced during and following a jökulhlaup will aid jökulhlaup identification and reconstruction in modern and ancient proglacial environments.

Abstract:
The hammered zither appeared in the East and the West in the 15th century. But the santur is not pictured in ancient Persian miniatures before the Qajar period (1786 – 1925), so that its appearance in Persian art music may have come relatively late. It is however quite difficult to speak with any certainty of the time or place of the santour’s origin. The târ lute has long been the major Iranian instrument, whereas the number of santur players was limited. We know nothing about the content of their repertories before the end of the 19th century. The oldest known santour player is Mohammad Hasan Khân, better known by the nickname of Santour Khan. He lived in the middle of the 19th century. Before 1940, there was no specialized santur makers and the instruments were made by lute makers who built primarily târs and setârs. After this date, some of these started specializing in santurs. If Soma’i (1905 – 1946) was the last in a long line of an ancient tradition, Pâyvar (1932 – 2009) was without doubt the first master of a new generation. This new generation of santur players (born in the 1980s) prefer Western composition to the practice of the radif.Today it would seem that the radif of Sabâ is the most appropriate one for the santour, for three reasons: Sabâ started to write his radif for santur players; he was himself a santur player (student of Ali Akbar Shâhi and Soma’i); Sabâ was assisted by Pâyvar, who was already an accomplished santur player. The organological study, including description of the instrument and its building, is completed by an history of the teaching of the radif. A musicological study presents analyses based on historical recordings and their transcriptions

Abstract:
This study has presented a comprehensive overview of the status and ecology of walleye and sauger in the Wabash River, Indiana. Populations of walleye and sauger are relatively low in numbers. Both species exhibited a trend of increased abundance with river km from the mouth of the Wabash River. Summer walleye habitat use and movements were examined in the upper Wabash River. Walleye preferred run habitat over riffle or pool habitat. Lateral position, substrate use, and mean depth appeared to be influenced by discharge. Movements were generally short and occurred within a relatively small home range of 1.7 km. The population size limits the fisheries potential for walleye and sauger in the Wabash River mainstem. The upper Wabash River supports higher abundances of these species than the middle Wabash River and may provide a focal point for future management efforts.

Abstract:
Significant production of Mahakam Block comes from sand prone reservoirs. Uncontrolled sand production can lead to catastrophic consequences. A robust sand detection and monitoring system is crucial for optimizing production without jeopardizing safety. A non-intrusive Acoustic Sand Detection (ASD) tool has been widely implemented in Mahakam swamp and offshore fields. The tool can be portable or permanently installed, depending on the availability of power and telemetry. Sand rate is derived from the signal received by sensor after listening to the sound of sand particle collision with the pipe wall. If the sand rate exceeds the defined Maximum Allowable Sand Rate (MASR) of 0.02 g/s, the well will be declared as sandy. As the consequence, the well could be ramped down or shut-in for choke verification. Of all the sandy cases detected by ASD, more than twenty cases turned out to be incident preventive. The wellhead choke had been eroded such that it could have been catastrophic. The erosion occurred on wells producing from shallow/upper layer reservoirs with high delta pressure between upstream and downstream choke. The application of acoustic sand detection tool as the primary sand monitoring system (78%) in Mahakam has proven to be rewarding. Around 149 BCF of additional production volume during 2014-2019 was the result of implementation of sand detection and monitoring using ASD tool, as means of optimizing the life of production wells. This paper demonstrates Mahakam invaluable experience with ASD tool to optimize sandy wells production safely.

Abstract:
Abstract Waterflooding in unconsolidated sands has been observed to frequently result in injectivity decline of injectors when operated under ‘fractured’ conditions, resulting in reduction of waterflooding value creation and potential premature injector failure. Optimization of injector design and operation is currently limited by an insufficient understanding of the mechanics of ‘fracture’ and its associated mechanisms in unconsolidated sands, and the lack of adequate quantitative tools to predict injection performance. Utilizing in-situ CT scanning during large-scale laboratory injection experiments delivered novel insights into generation, closure and re-opening of ‘fractures’ in sand packs built from synthetic sands and highly unconsolidated downhole core material. Cavity formation was identified as main ‘fracturing’ mechanism. The cavities opened at injection pressures exceeding the confining stress and subsequently enlarged against a very low cohesive strength for the downhole core sands. This suggests material fluidization rather than shear failure as the immediate cavity initiation mechanism. Injectivity was found to be controlled by the interplay of fines transportation away from the injection region, resulting in injectivity increase, and the permanent compaction of the sand around the cavity, resulting in injectivity decrease. These first-time insights challenge the current understanding of matrix vs ‘fractured’ injection in unconsolidated sand reservoirs and highlight the role of sand fluidization and cavity formation. Furthermore, the injectivity behaviour is dependent on the combined effects of the sand material, the presence of fines, and the injection flow regime. The knowledge of the sand destabilization and mobilization processes enable design and operation optimizationof water injectors with implications on sand control strategies and remediation measures.
