The Beam String Structure was in short-side direction. This paper simulated Beam String Structure in long-side direction. Through SAP2000 analysis of vibration mode and stress of single and overall structure, some features of the structure were obtained. The single structure has small rigidity disadvantage, while the overall structure has reasonable stiffness. Then the paper draws a conclusion that disadvantage in long-side direction can be remedied by overall structure.

Abstract:
The commercial software platform SAP2000 has been used to design base isolated buildings supported by Triple PendulumTM isolators; however, limited full-scale test data are available to validate the use of the software for this application. Additionally, previous work has demonstrated that several pitfalls must be avoided when modeling these types of structures in SAP2000. The ability of SAP2000 to predict key engineering demand parameters used in the design of a base-isolated building is examined by using methods and assumptions employed in current design practice. The SAP2000 analysis results are compared to the data obtained from shake table tests of a full-scale base-isolated building and comparable predictions obtained from a more complex OpenSees analysis model of the same building. This study suggests that when methods and assumptions common to engineering practice are applied, SAP2000 can predict the responses with sufficient accuracy for design.

Abstract:
This paper is concerned with the analysis of simply supported beam using MATLAB programming language and structural analysis program SAP2000. The beam was discretized into rectangular elements using finite element method. Three patterns of different dimensions and numbers of rectangular elements were used to verify the results of vertical displacements and stresses obtained by MATLAB and SAP 2000.The development of four noded isoparametric quadrilateral membrane elements in MATLAB programming language is presented. The membrane elements developed are plane strain condition. The considered patterns were analyzed as shell elements using SAP2000. A finite element program is also developed using MATLAB to check the accuracy of the developed elements.

Abstract:
Structure under long-term load, environmental erosion, material aging, especially under the seismic action can cause damage accumulation and bearing capacity decrease. In order to make sure its safety and reliable, avoid extreme cases of catastrophic accident, it is necessary to carry out the engineering structural health diagnosis. Using SAP2000 software, seismic response analysis for a two layer reinforced concrete frame structure is carried out. The laws of the acceleration response time history and spectrum under different seismic action were found out by discussing structure in no damage and different damages. The results showed that no matter where the damage located, the top node response increment is bigger than the middle node, the peak of acceleration response spectrum changes little with the beam damage degrees changing. Selecting the acceleration response peak of the top node as a structural damage index is feasible in the damage detection and identification of engineering structures, but analyzing the response spectrum for damage detection is unpractical.

Building construction planning in Indonesia uses SNI 2847: 2013 regulatory guidelines especially in building planning. So we need a combination of standardization used with technological developments that are realized in a computer program to simplify and speed up calculations. The results of the calculation of beam structures and concrete columns in the final project calculations using SNI 2847: 2013 regulations and analysis using SAP2000 code ACI318-14 software obtained the results: a) In plimelinary beam designs with sizes B1 30/40 cm and B2 40/55 cm are not able hold the load on the structure (over strange), then the beam dimensions are enlarged to B1 30/60 cm and B2 40 / 60cm. In the SAP2000 output analysis results after the beam dimensions are enlarged there are no over strange frames and meet the strength of the structure. b) From the beam analysis planning on bending reinforcement using SNI 03-2847-2013 concrete reinforcement regulations and using SAP2000 code ACI318-14 software analysis, the number of reinforcement obtained is more using SNI 03-2847-2013 concrete reinforcement regulations compared to using software analysis SAP2000 code ACI318-14 the amount of reinforcement used has a difference of 0.17%. c). From the planning of column analysis on bending reinforcement using SNI 03-2847-2013 concrete reinforcement regulations and using SAP2000 code ACI318-14 software analysis, the same amount of reinforcement is obtained between calculations using SNI 03-2847-2013 concrete reinforcement regulations and using SAP2000 code ACI318 software analysis -14.

Untuk pemodelan struktur digunakan Tekla Structures dan untuk proses analisis digunakan SAP2000. Konsep BIM dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menganalisis beban-beban yang terpasang. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghitung beban SDL yang terpasang pada struktur rangka atap secara real yang telah dimodelkan lengkap pada Tekla Strctures. Dilanjutukan dengan menghitung berat SDL kemudian dimasukkan sebagai beban di SAP2000. Tahap ini dilakukan secara terus menerus hingga berat SDL yang terpasang ada Tekla Strctures sesuai dengan data yang diinput pada SAP2000. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa berat penampang yang dirancang menggunakan konsep BIM dan tanpa konsep BIM akurat. Hasil dimensi dari material yang digunakan memenuhi syarat yang telah dilakukan.Kata kunci: Tekla Strutures, BIM, SAP2000 ABSTRACTNowadays, the application of BIM concept in civil structure planning is very necessary. BIM concept allows exchange of data information between softwares. Some of the softwares that use BIM concept are Tekla Structures and SAP2000. For modeling using Tekla Structures and for analysis using SAP2000. BIM concept is applied in order to analyse installed load. This study aims to calculate the installed load by real data. First of the building model of roof truss is completely created in Tekla Structures. Then, we calculate SDL load of the building and input it to SAP2000. This stage is done repeatedly until SDL load in Tekla Structures matches the data in SAP2000. The result shows that there is accurate cross section weight designed with BIM concept or without BIM concept. The dimension of materials that used is eligible.Keywords: Tekla Strutures, BIM, SAP2000

To study the nonlinear mechanical characteristics of reinforced concrete shear wall structures under rare earthquakes, a single reinforced concrete shear wall model is established in SAP2000 program, which is simulated by nonlinear multi-layer shell element. Nonlinear static pushover analysis of the model is presented by uniform acceleration lateral load pattern and inverted triangle lateral load pattern. The relationship curve between base shear and top displacement of shear wall, and the stress distribution diagrams of the concrete layer and rebar layer are obtained. It may be concluded that, the yielding of rebar layer and the cracking of the concrete layer may be observed by stress distribution diagrams. SAP2000 program is feasible to nonlinear simulation of shear wall structures.

According to the working mechanism of re-centring SMA damper, restoring force model is established. Based on the mechanical model, the re-centring SMA damper is modeled in finite element software SAP2000 by adding Multi-Linear element and Plastic (Wen) element. Time-history analysis method under different ground motion is used to analyze control parameters of re-centring SMA damper. The influence on damping effect and ability to re-centring of damper of several factors such as the ratio SR of initial stiffness of energy components and stiffness of corresponding structural layer, the ratio β of yield displacement of energy components and yield displacement of corresponding structural layer, the ratio α of the second stiffness and initial stiffness of energy components, the ratio Q of initial restoring force of re-centring group and yield force of corresponding structural layer, and the ratio λ of the second stiffness and initial stiffness of re-centring group were studied. Their reasonable numerical value range are obtained by numerical calculation, the reasonable ranges for SR, β, α, Q and λ are found to be 2~3, 0~0.05, 0~0.1, 0.05~0.10 and 0.05~0.15 respectively.

This paper presents the results of a comparison study of the internal forces applied to the structure due to wind load determined based on SNI 1727: 2013 that is inputted manually and automatically using ASCE 7-10 wind load feature in SAP2000. The wind load reviewed in this study is the wind load that calculated by following the Directional Procedure stated in SNI 1727:2013. The study shows that the wind load calculated based on SNI 1727:2013 when the internal pressure coefficient GCpi is defined as 0.18 is 12% higher than the wind load calculated automatically by applying ASCE 7-10 wind load feature provided by SAP2000 when the wind parameters are assigned based on SNI 1727:2013.

Daerah Serpong yang terletak di Indonesia bagian barat merupakan wilayah dengan Gempa bumi tinggi dan dapat memunculkan energi yang disebabkan dari patahan aktif dan gerak-gerak lempeng bumi. Adanya gempa yang terjadi dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan struktur gedung di atas permukaan. Hal ini perlu memperhitungkan beban lateral (gempa bumi) pada perencanaan gedung reaktor RDE yang dianalisis menggunakan cara statik ekivalen dan analisis dinamik (respons spektrum dan riwayat waktu). Struktur bangunan yang tidak beraturan dan mempunyai tingkat banyak dapat dianalisis menggunakan analisis dinamik untuk pengaruh gempa terhadap struktur. Analisis yang digunakan ini memperhitungkan beban lateral pada gempa bumi ada dua, yakni Analisis statik dan analisis dinamik. Pada cara elastis dibedakan Analisis Ragam Riwayat Waktu (Time History Modal Analysis), dimana cara ini diperlukan rekaman percepatan gempa dan Analisis Ragam Respons spektrum (Respons Spectrum Model Analysis), dan pada cara ini respons maksimum setiap ragam getar yang terjadi didapat dari Respons spektrum Rencana (Design Spectra). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisis dinamik respons spektrum yang dibantu dengan program SAP2000. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dinamik respon spektrum yang menggunakan gempa rencana berdasarkan SNI 1726-2012, didapatkan bahwa bangunan mempunyai nilai S1 0,30g dan Ss 0,75g. Analisis tekan tanah pada dinding basement tiap m2 adalah 27,361 kN/m2 atau 0,2,736 t/m2 Periode getar adalah 0,0926 detik, koefisien respon seismik adalah 0,1800, distribusi gaya lateral 578,489 ton besarnya gaya tersebut dibebankan pada pusat massa struktur tiap-tiap lantai tingkat sehingga apabila ditinjau berdasarkan ATC-40 termasuk dalam kategori level Immediate Occupancy.

A new type of frictional pendulum TMD is designed. The wind-induced vibration of Henan Art Center Symbolic Tower with and without TMD is analyzed. The structural design of frictional pendulum TMD is presented in detail. The equivalent analysis model is established. The 3D analysis of the symbolic tower is established using SAP2000. The non-linear LINK unit in SAP2000 is used to simulate frictional pendulum TMD. Then, the non-linear analysis of wind control effectiveness of frictional pendulum TMD is carried out. The analysis results demonstrate that optimal frictional force can be chosen according to design wind loads and the control effectiveness can be over 30% with the chosen frictional force under 0.3 to 2 times of the designed wind loads.

Taking a transmission tower as an example, calculations are carried out by SAP2000 Program with assumption of rational criterion. Seismic loads of frequently met and rarely met seismic concentration degrees are considered. By comparing the structural target seismic performance and the sequence of plastic hinges induced, seismic performances of the transmission tower are estimated.

In this paper, the 1/3 ratio model of reinforced concrete deformed column for low-cycle repeated load experiment is adopted, the common finite element software SAP2000 is used for analyzing the models performance of bearing capacity, ductility, Occurrence order of plastic hinge, the yield mechanism and inter-layer displacement. The results show that the selected madel can simulate the nonlinear performance of the shaped column frame accurate, the calculated value is in good agreement with the experimental values.

In the solar photovoltaic power station project, PV support is one of the main structures, and fixed photovoltaic PV support is one of the most commonly used stents. For the the actual demand in a Japanese photovoltaic power, SAP2000 finite element analysis software is used in this paper, based on Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS C 8955-2011), describing the system of fixed photovoltaic support structure design and calculation method and process. The results show that: (1) according to the general requirements of 4 rows and 5 columns fixed photovoltaic support, the typical permanent load of the PV support is 4679.4 N, the wind load being 1.05 kN/m2, the snow load being 0.89 kN/m2 and the seismic load is 5877.51 N; (2) by theoretical calculation of the two ends extended beam model, the beam span under the rail is determined 2200 mm; (3) by the way of using the single factor experiment, through the calculation and analysis of SAP2000, the three best supporting points of the support of the W stent are determined; (4) by comprehensive simulation, the optimal parameters for the rail, beam, support and bolt are 60× 60× 1.0, 60× 60× 1.0, 40× 50× 2.0, and M10 respectively.

In this paper, take the temple as an example to study building monolithic movement. It is shown in the analysis results of SAP2000 that the mortise-tenon joints (in the wooden structure) has a significant influence in improving the energy dissipation capacity, prolonging the structural free vibration period,minimizing the dynamic response of structure. The acceleration of all the joints tends to be in consistent under the dynamic force effect. The structure has enough safety capacity within the right displacement margin for joints.

The analysis results show that the displacement of the beams and columns suffering the explosion load directly is ten times or even dozens of times more than those far away from the explosion load, which makes it clear that the explosion load influence on frame structure has a certain locality.

Based on the results of integral structure analysis, a practical program for the reliability analysis of the members is introduced for engineering application. The .NET framework and SAP2000 API were combined to develop this program. The probability distribution parameters of the load and the material are the input parameters and then based on the integral structure analysis results, by combining the Monte Carlo simulation methods and the JC methods, the probability distribution of the load effects and the resistance of the members can be calculated, thus the reliability indices of each member could be obtained. Furthermore, an example was introduced and the comparative study between this proposed method and the conventional method for evaluation of a structure was carried out. The results show that it is a feasible method to evaluate the bearing capacity of a structure by exploiting reliability indices directly and this method can offer more quantitative reliability indicators of the structures.

A new type of anti-tension device was put forward. One specimen on three utlimate working conditions was analyzed by FEM. The research results showed that there was large eccentricity between the upper steel frame and the lower steel frame in the horizontal plane, the maximum bearing capacity of the device would decrease to some extent, especially in two direction eccentricity condition. In the Sap2000 program, the characteristic of the device met with that of Hook element, some parameters of the model had been identified. Hook element could model this device when it was on the elastic stage.

This paper simulated the microvibration response of a micro-electronic workshop by using the finite element analysis software Sap2000. Based on the measured vibration signals as input data at the base, the displacement and velocity curves at some typical points on the work platform of a micro-electronic workshop under uniform and multipoint excitation were obtained. The results show that displacement responses at nodes of beams or in the direction of lower stiffness under multipoint excitation are much greater than those under uniform excitation, while there are no marked difference in the peak values of velocities.

The influence of prestressing on natural vibration frequency of concrete beams is studied by applying prestress gradually. A model of variable stiffness is proposed to calculate the natural vibration frequency of unbounded prestressed concrete beams. The finite element program Sap2000 is used to calculate the frequency of unbounded prestressed concrete beams. The results show that the calculating results agree well with experimental ones.
