Main reactions of iron ore pellets desulphurization are considered in details in a number of papers, in which the results obtained refer only to their isothermal heating. Therefore studies of authors were concentrated on desulphurization kinetics of nonfluxed and fluxed Sokolov-Sarbai and Kostomuksha pellets, having different content of initial Sulphur in concentrate at nonisothermal heating.Regime peculiarities of sulphuric pellets thermal treatment in a layer considered. Recommendations on roasting regime of pellets layer elaborated, which enable to decrease the sulfates decomposition degree. The mechanism and kinetics of calcium sulfate dissociation at temperatures and gas content, typical for conveyer and sintering machines, studied. The temperature level determined, at which maximum dissociation velocity of calcium sulfate is reached. Simulation of the process of pellets thermal treatment in air and in helium media realized. It was shown that at roasting in a lowoxidizing atmosphere the sulphur content in pellets, roasted at correspondent temperatures, was decreased considerably. Rational iron ore pellets roasting regimes elaborated aimed at their acceptable properties both by strength and by Sulphur content.

Vengadasalam’s book offers a comparison of the literary and artistic practices and philosophies of three authors, two from India (Rabindranath Tagore and Badal Sircar) and one from Nigeria (Wole Soyinka), by examining their dramatic works: four plays in total, which offer an evaluation of the pre and post-independence national environment. Vengadaslam posits that the existing terminology for examining their work in the postcolonial context is insufficient and suggests a new term: “intercultural” to fully explore the magnitude of these writers’ art and the extent of their influence.

Lithosiini genera of the Asura / Miltochrista generic complex related to Barsine Walker, 1854 sensu lato and Asura Walker, 1854 are overviewed. Barsine is considered to be a group having such an autapomorphic feature as a basal saccular process of valva only. Many species without this process are separated to the diverse and species-rich genus Ammatho stat. nov., which is subdivided here into eight subgenera including Idopterum Hampson, 1894 downgraded here to a subgenus level, and six new subgenera: Ammathella Volynkin, subgen. nov., Composine Volynkin, subgen. nov., Striatella Volynkin & Huang, subgen. nov., Conicornuta Volynkin, subgen. nov., Delineatia Volynkin & Huang, subgen. nov. and Rugosine Volynkin, subgen. nov. The genera Asuropsis Matsumura, 1927, Neasuroides Matsumura, 1927 and Asuridoides Daniel, 1951 are synonymised with Miltochrista Hübner, [1819]. The genus Allochrista Roepke, 1946 is synonymised with the subgenus Thyrgorina Walker, [1865] of the genus Lemyra Walker, 1856 (tribe Arctiini) with establishing a new combination Lemyra (Thyrgorina) toxopei (Roepke, 1946), comb. nov. Other six new synonyms are established: Barsine pardalis (Mell, 1922) = Barsine miranda Kishida & Wang, 2017, syn. nov., Barsine striata striata (Bremer & Grey, 1852) = Miltochrista quelparta Okamota, 1924, syn. nov., Floridasura tricolor (Wileman, 1910) = Barsine coccinea Moore, 1886, syn. nov., Disasuridia metaphaea (Hampson, 1900) = Disasuridia flava Fang, 1991, syn. nov., Aberrasine aberrans aberrans (Butler, 1877) = Miltochrista decussata (Moore, 1877), syn. nov. and Cabarda nigripuncta (Wileman & South, 1919) = Asura lunilinea Schaus, 1922, syn. nov. In addition, it is stated that Miltochrista quadrifasciata Rothschild, 1913 described from New Guinea and currently belonging to the genus Cyme (a junior synonym of Cyme sexualis (Felder, 1864)) is an invalid name, being a secondary junior homonym (homonym nov.) of Cyme quadrifasciata (Rothschild, 1913), comb. nov. described from Sulawesi. A full check-list of members of the Asura / Miltochrista generic complex with 370 new combinations is present.

The purpose of this chapter is to show how the Pahlavi monarchy (1925-79) has reacted to the creation of the Islamic University of Medina, in 1961, by allowing in Easternmost Iran the development of Deobandi madrasa teaching and reformed Sufism. It suggests that since then, the Hanafi School of Islamic law and jurisprudence has begun to re-emerge during those years as a specifically Persian if not Iranian, tradition that contested Shia hegemony within Iran while opposing cross-border Wahhabi influence. Reconstructing the demographic change and interethnic cum inter-confessional violence that preceded and went with the revolution of 1979 in Iranian Baluchistan, the author shows how, thanks to the region’s Deobandi Sunni religious establishment’s ultimate acceptance of Khomeini’s rule, the new regime paved the way for the Sarbaz nexus to assess their position as guarantors of social peace and intermediaries between the state and a new-brand ‘Sunni community of Iran’.
