Abstract:

The present study is an exploration of reflections of/on reality in Sasha Sokolov’s novels: School for Fools, Between Dog and Wolf and Palisandriia. The language in these texts does not express reality but embodies it, and reality fades away into its reflections, where it finds its essence. The project is framed by an overview of the theoretical models advanced by Mikhail Bakhtin (outsideness and surplus of vision), Jacques Derrida (dissemination and supplement) and Jacques Lacan (the mirror stage), and constructed around the myth of Narcissus. Within this critical framework, the study comprises three chapters, presenting the novels in their chronological appearance. Chapter one examines an aesthetical (trans)formation of reality and reconstruction of the self through a series of metaphors. By adopting the metaphor of narcissism and exploring its ontological, narrative and psychological implications in relation to Sokolov’s text, it is demonstrated how memory, instead of retrieving the past, signifies it, and how language, instead of expressing reality, engenders it. Chapter two constitutes a reading of Between Dog and Wolf as a re-enactment of the Eucharist, wherein the spirit becomes the letter, and the context merges with the text. Employing deconstruction as an approach, the analysis illuminates how reality is grounded by its representation as the latter is grounded in its medium: language. Chapter three presents Palisandriia as a parody of a ‘ritualized biography’, whereby the hero’s personal life becomes a historical allegory. This technique, identified with sots-art and historiographic metafiction, is viewed as an attempt to deal with the disappearance of the historical referent. It is argued that by approaching history – personal and public – as an artefact, Sokolov’s novel stands as an expression of the spirit of Dandyism in the face of the total discrediting of the real.

Depuis quelques décennies, on assiste à l'avènement d'une nouvelle esthétique théâtrale inscrite dans le déplacement de l'œuvre vers l'événement. Dès lors, le corps est pris comme fondement et les problématiques entre danse, théâtre et performance ne cessant de se croiser, rendent leurs frontières de plus en plus poreuses. Cette évolution se manifeste dans le développement de pratiques interdisciplinaires, tant au niveau des processus artistiques que des propositions spectaculaires. Se posent alors un certain nombre de questions : qu'est-ce que ces approches transdisciplinaires produisent ? En quoi favorisent-elles un renouvellement des modes d'expression ? Pour répondre à ces questions, nous nous appuierons sur quelques réalisations des chorégraphes François Verret et Sasha Waltz et proposerons une analyse des évolutions et nouveaux enjeux de la notion de théâtralité, une construction du jugement esthétique qui varie selon les mutations des langages artistiques eux-mêmes
For a few decades we have been witnessing the emergence of a new theatre aesthetics lying in the shift of the work toward the event. Consequently, the body being taken as foundation, the problematics between dance, theatre and performance keep on crossing each other, making their boundaries more and more permeable. This evolution is obvious in the development of interdisciplinary practices in the artistic process as well as in shows productions. Then a certain amount of questions are to be asked: what are these interdisciplinary approaches producing? In what sense do they favour a renewal of expression modes? To answer these questions we will lean on a few productions of choreographers like François Verret, Sasha Waltz and we'll propose an analysis of the changes and new stakes of the theatricality, an elaboration of a aesthetic judgment which varies according to the transformations of artistic languages themselves

Abstract:

In this thesis I reframe theories of love-relationships in late modernity (by Anthony Giddens, Zygmunt Bauman and Ulrich Beck & Elisabeth Beck-Gernsheim) in relation to a general framework of discursive theory (inspired by Michel Foucault). I suggest that current developments and contradictions in the field of love-relationships with advantage can be understood in terms of discourse and discursive conflict. Utilizing the discursive framework, I conceptualize two conflicting discursive regimes (as romantic love and individualized freedom), and their components. With these components in mind, I explore how contradicting discursive components are problematized in established risk-discourse, using cases of popular culture as illustrative reference. Risk-discourses force short-term practical solutions, and put pressure on further discursive change by inducing anxiety and cognitive dissonance. Future discourse will have to adapt to several conditions, including the (in)compatibility of discursive components, how well practical strategies work out, how social interaction is organized, and how discursive deconstruction unavoidably have consequences for the fundaments of love itself.
I uppsatsen omtolkar jag senmodernitetsteorier om kärleksrelationer (av Anthony Giddens, Zygmunt Bauman och Ulrich Beck & Elisabeth Beck-Gernsheim) till ett generellt diskursteoretiskt ramverk (inspirerat av Michel Foucualt). Uppsatsen redogör för hur samtida utvecklingar och motsättningar inom fältet kärleksrelationer med fördel kan förstås i diskursteoretiska termer. Med hjälp av detta ramverk utvecklar jag två diskursiva regimer och deras respektive komponenter (konceptualiserade som romantisk kärlek och individualiserad frihet). Med dessa komponenter i åtanke granskar jag hur konflikterande komponenter problematiseras genom etablerade riskdiskurser, med fallstudier av populärkultur som illustrativa exempel. Jag menar att att dessa riskdiskurser driver fram kortsiktiga praktiska lösningar, och orsakar ångest och kognitiv dissonans vilka motiverar ytterligare diskursiva förändringar. Kommande diskursiva förändringar måste förhålla sig till flertalet omständigheter inklusive diskurskomponenternas (in)kompabilitet, huruvida praktiska lösningar är hållbara, hur social interaktion organiseras i allmänhet och hur diskursiv dekonstruktion oundvikligen får konsekvenser för kärlekens fundament.

Examensarbetet på 22,5 hp har utförts av Malin Engvall, Natalié Schnelzer och Caroline

Svedberg som en avslutande del på Innovations- och designingenjörsprogrammet vid

Karlstads universitet, fakulteten för teknik och naturvetenskap.

Uppdragsgivare var JanErik Odhe som med sin tävlan i Venture Cup lämnat in en affärsidé

som innefattar utveckling av en ny produkt.

Målet var att ta fram en engångsprodukt som inom loppet av en minut kan ge tillgång till

varm välling oberoende av var konsumenten befinner sig. Produkten skulle även vara

estetiskt tilltalande och på bästa sätt sticka ut från mängden av vällingförpackningar som

finns att tillgå idag.

För att på bästa sätt tillfredställa målgruppens behov gjordes en förstudie med enkäter,

intervjuer och undersökningar av den nuvarande marknaden. I förstudien framkom det att

den primära målgruppen ville ha nytänkande vad gäller formen på produkten. Det framkom

även att en av de viktigaste aspekterna att tänka på var greppvänligheten för små barn.

Det slutgiltiga konceptet består av tre delar; flaska, värmeanordning och startanordning i

form av ett vred. Genom att vrida vredet, i botten av flaskan, till rätt läge startas den

exotermiska reaktion av vatten och kalciumklorid di-hydrat som alstrar värme.

Värmeanordningen verkar i en behållare i flaskans mitt.

Pappersprototyper för att visa form och grafik gjordes med hjälp av Korsnäs i Frövi. En

funktionsprototyp skrevs ut på BrobyGrafiskas 3D-printer. Dessa prototyper visades upp

under exjobbsutställningen på Karlstads universitet samt för uppdragsgivare.

The degree project has been carried out by Malin Engvall, Natalié Schnelzer and Caroline

Svedberg, students at the Innovation and Design Engineer programme at the Faculty of

Technology and Science at Karlstad University during spring 2008.

The assigner of the degree project was JanErik Odhe who participated in Venture cup, a

innovation competition. He has come up with a business idea which includes development

of a new product.

The goal was to develop a disposable novelty that heats formula during one minute wherever

the consumer is. The product should also be appealing and original.

To please the needs of the target group a research was made including questionnaire,

interviews and investigations of the market. The result of the research showed that the target

group wanted innovation when it comes to shape. It also showed that the most important

aspect to think about were the handgrip for children.

The final concept is constructed of three parts; bottle, heating system and start mechanism.

To start the heating, a handle located at the bottom of the bottle, is twisted to its right

position. The twist leads to an exothermic reaction of water and calcium chloride di hydrate

which is located in the middle of the bottle.

A prototype that demonstrates the shape and graphic was made of cardboard with support

from Korsnäs in Frövi. Another prototype that reveals the function was made in plastic.

This prototype was made by BrobyGrafiska, in their rapid prototyping machine. The

prototypes were demonstrated at the degree project exhibition at Karlstad University and to

the assigner.

Cette thèse étudie les renaissantismes et la renaissance des peuples autochtones de la Yakoutie, vaste région du nord-est sibérien, dans la période où cette République de la Fédération de Russie jouit d'un climat de souveraineté interne permettant aux intellectuels et leaders autochtones de faire valoir les droits et intérêts de leurs peuple, très ébranlés par l'expérience soviétique porteuse de changements cruciaux. Le mot renaissantisme désigne des mouvements à la fois idéologiques, politiques, identitaires, culturels et sociaux traduisant l'aspiration des Sakhas l'ethnie titulaire, mais aussi des ethnies minoritaires - Youkaguirs, Evènes, Evenks, Dolganes et Tchouktches, à la renaissance, au terme d'une histoire coloniale faite d'exploitation économique, de spoliation, d'assimilation forcée, d'ethnocide, d'écocide, etc. Dans les premières années de la souveraineté, les renaissantistes élaborent des réformes destinées à recréer l'ethnicité perdue ou déclinante des peuples et communautés, et à revitaliser leurs cultures ancestrales (spiritualité, modes de vie, relations sociales et familiales, langues vernaculaires, etc. ). Ces réformes et projets de réformes s'accompagnent d'une production de discours multiformes visant à redonner, aux représentants des groupes minoritaires ou dominés, la confiance et la fierté perdues, et à reconstituer le miroir brisé de leur identité. Cette étude se fonde sur la comparaison de plusieurs contextes ethniques et ethnorégionaux,et donc de plusieurs dynamiques renaissantistes, analysées au niveau macro, meso et surtout microsocial. La confrontation des aspects idéologiques; politiques et juridiques de ces mouvements à la réalité sociale et culturelle et aux attentes et représentations des populations concernées constitue un axe de recherche essentiel pour tenter d'évaluer l'efficacité et la portée réelle des renaissantismes, subordonnés par ailleurs à des processus économiques puis politiques globalement désavantageux
This doctoral thesis deals with the subject of ethnic revival of the Northern peoples, particularly, of the indigenous peoples of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), a vast area endowed with a statute of internal sovereignty in the Russian Federation since 1990, allowing elites of the native groups to defend rights and interests of their peoples, strongly threatened by the crucial changes resulting of the Soviet experiment. The neologism of "revivalism" refers to movements, processes and dynamics expressing the aspiration of sakhas, evenks, evens, dolgans, jukaghirs and chukchis for revival. Occurring in the fields of ideology, politics, identity, culture and social affairs, this revivalism appears as the result of a history made of colonisation, and therefore of economic exploitation, spoliation, forced assimilation, ethnocide, ecocide, etc. In the early nineties, indigenous elites worked out reforms intended to reconstruct lost or declining ethnicity of their ethnic groups or communities, and to revitalize their ancestral cultures (spirituality, ways of life, social and family relations, vernacular languages, etc. ). These reforms and projects of reforms were accompanied by a production of multiform discourses destined to restore lost self-confidence and pride of the natives, and to reconstitute the broken mirror of their identities. This study is based on the comparison of several ethnic and ethnoregional backgrounds, and thus of several dynamics of revival or "revivalisms", analyzed at different levels of the Yakutian society : macrosocial, mesosocial and microsocial. Confrontation of ideological, political and legal aspects with the reality, the expectations and the representations of concerned populations in the social, cultural and identity fields, was used to evaluate the efficiency and the repercussions of these revivalisms, subordinate otherwise to overall unfavourable economic and political processes

Abstract:

Sacha Guitry fit de sa vie le sujet principal de son œuvre brillante mais assez élégiaque et relativement mélancolique où les personnages suicidaires joués par lui sont assez fréquents. Dans son œuvre, l’osmose est quasiment complète entre le théâtre et la vie. Ses épouses actrices furent les premières à souffrir de cette osmose et de cette instrumentalisation de leur personne et elles se lassèrent presque toutes (sauf Marconi) d’être éternellement considérées comme des êtres élégants mais souvent muets, en dépit du train de vie brillant qu’il leur offrit. Il perdit ainsi périodiquement des partenaires de qualité (il ne remplacera jamais la très brillante Yvonne Printemps) car, l’une après l’autre, elles refusèrent de sacrifier leur vie personnelle au profit du programme théâtral et cinématographique d’un seul homme. Nous tenterons de voir pourquoi Guitry eut avec les acteurs-hommes de meilleures relations qu’avec les femmes érotisées comme ses cinq épouses. C’est pourquoi nous analyserons les rapports idylliques qu’il eut avec trois autres actrices (Carton, Pierry et Fusier–Gir) que le temps avait déjà marquées physiquement. Nous tenterons surtout de redonner vie à ses cinq actrices-épouses en tenant compte des études récentes relatives au "gender" au cinéma ainsi que des star-studies, même si aucune d’entre elles n’est vraiment une star. Nous nous efforcerons d’analyser les conséquences de son comportement souvent machiste et narcissique sur la vie et la carrière de ces femmes pendant 50 ans. Nous analyserons enfin ce qu’il leur apporta et ce qu’elles offrirent à son brillant cinéma par leur présence
Sacha Guitry made his own life the main topic of his apparently cheerful and brilliant plays and films which are often also sometimes elegiac and melancholy. Surprisingly in his works, quite a few characters played by him seem to be fascinated by suicide. There is no real boundary in his works between life and theatre and the actresses who were also his wives suffered from this absence of a frontier-line between those two worlds. They also disliked the way he took unfair advantage of their personality in his plays and almost all of them (except Marconi) eventually got tired of being considered as very smart but speechless creatures, although he offered them a very luxurious way of life. He thus lost quite a number of excellent partners (actually he could never really replace Yvonne Printemps, the exceptional player and singer) because, one after the other, they refused to sacrifice their personal life for the benefit of someone with exacting prospects concerning the theatre and the cinema. We shall therefore try to understand why Guitry usually kept up a better relationship with men-actors than with actresses with obvious sex appeal, like his five wives. We shall then examine the perfect friendship he formed with three elderly actresses whose growing age was becoming quite noticeable. We shall try to "bring back to life" the real personalities of the five actresses who also became his wives by resorting to the recent discoveries about "gender" and star-studies. We shall also try to analyze the influence of his narcissistic and chauvinistic attitude upon the lives and careers of these actresses. We shall eventually try to find out what he brought them by his presence and what they added by theirs to his brilliant cinema

Abstract:

Tutkimus käsittelee Martinniemen sahaa kulttuuriperinnön näkökulmasta. Suunnitelmat sahan purkamisesta herättivät paikalliset ajamaan sahan piipun suojelua. Käynnistyi kulttuuriperintöprosessi, jossa erilaisten tunteiden, muistojen ja kokemusten kautta yritettiin saada piipusta valtakunnallisesti suojeltu kulttuuriperintö kohde. Paikallisille koko sahan historia ja kulttuuriperintö kiteytyi lopulta piippuun ja piipusta tuli konkreettinen kohde, joka kiteytti ja säilytti kulttuuriperintöä. Paikallisten kautta tutkimuksessa tarkastelen yhteisöllistä kulttuuriperintönäkökulmaa. Millainen suhde paikallisilla oli sahaan ja mikä oli sahan ja sen luoman kulttuuriperinnön merkitys heille? Yksilöllisen kulttuuriperintönäkökulman tutkimukseen tuovat sahalla vierailevat ihmiset, joilla ei ole aikaisempaa suhdetta sahaan. Raunioituneissa rakennuksissa vierailevat harrastajat muodostivat erilaisia henkilökohtaisia suhteita paikkaan. Tarkoituksessa ja ihmisestä riippuen hylätty voimalaitos saattoi merkitä seikkailua, jännitystä, piilopaikkaa, leikkikenttää tai paikkaa, jossa päästä toteuttamaan itseään. Urban explorer harrastajat, valokuvaajat ja graffititaiteilijat vierailivat sahan hylätyissä, rapistuvissa rakennuksissa ja erilaisten henkilökohtaisten kokemuksiensa kautta loivat merkityksiä rakennuksille. Tutkimuksen aineistona olivat sahan voimalaitos ja piippu. Vierailin Laitakarin saarella, jossa voimalaitos ja piippu sijaitsivat, kolme kertaa tutkimusta tehdessäni 8.9.2016, 4.10.2017 ja 29.5.2018. Ensimmäisellä vierailulla tutustuin voimalaitoksen sisätiloihin, toisella vierailulla ympäristöön ja kolmannella vierailulla kävin katsomassa paikkaa, kun rakennukset oli purettu pois. Tutkimuksessa tarkastelin suojelun uutisointia ja erilaisia blogeja ja YouTube videoita sahan voimalaitoksella tapahtuneista vierailuista. Paikallisten luomaa kulttuuriperintöprosessia tarkastelin uutisissa esiin tulleiden erilaisten haastattelujen kautta, joissa perusteltiin piipun säilyttämistä. Voimalaitoksen merkitystä raunioharrastajille tarkastelin heidän tekemiensä nettijulkaisuiden kautta. Paikallisille koko sahan olemassaolo kiteytyi lopulta piippuun, jonka suojelun puolesta he taistelivat vuosia. Heille sahan kulttuuriperinnöstä muodostui miltei elävä olento, joka tarvitsi konkreettisen ilmentymän, jotta se säilyisi. Paikallisen kulttuuriperintö ja valtakunnallinen kulttuuriperintö eivät lopulta kohdanneet Martinniemen sahan piipun kohdalla ja kaikki rapistuneet rakennukset purettiin pois. Valtakunnallisella, yhteisöllinen ja yksilöllisellä kulttuuriperinnöllä on erilaiset lähtökohdat ja määritelmät. Martinniemen sahan tapauksessa valtakunnallinen ja yhteisöllinen kulttuuriperintönäkökulma ajautuivat konfliktiin, kun taas yksilöllinen kulttuuriperintönäkökulma pysyi erillään suojelusta, koska suojeltuna tai purettuna, rakennuksilla ei enää ollut heille käyttötarkoitusta.

Abstract:

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como finalidad el estudio de la síntesis y caracterización de las resinas alquídicas a partir del ácido graso vegetal, proveniente del sacha inchi (plukenetia volubilis). En la actualidad, el aceite de mayor uso y de gran demanda para aplicaciones industriales es el aceite de linaza, debido a que presenta un elevado grado de ácidos poliinsaturados, brindándole buenas propiedades secantes a las resinas por ello se busca alternativas con alta eficiencia tal como el aceite de sacha inchi, que presenta en su composición un elevado grado de ácidos poliinsaturados, reportando un valor de índice de iodo de 189, considerado como aceite secante y capaz de formar películas secas y duras. Para la formulación de estas resinas alquídicas se determinó el punto gel, mediante el método de funcionalidad del sistema y el cálculo del número ácido. Se sintetizaron dos tipos de resina: una de cadena corta, con un 40% en peso de aceite y otra, de cadena mediana, con un 54% en peso del aceite. Para ambos casos se compararon sus propiedades con resinas alquídicas sintetizadas con aceite de linaza. Las resinas alquídicas en base al aceite de sacha inchi presentaron una mejor retención de color (valores menores a 3 en la escala Gardner), además de tener menor tiempo de secado y una dureza de película similar a las resinas alquídicas sintetizadas con el aceite de linaza. Las resinas de sacha inchi tuvieron modificaciones de un máximo de 4% en peso del anhídrido ftálico por el anhídrido maleico. Esta modificación le dio a la resina una mayor reactividad, debido a los enlaces insaturados, obteniendo mejores tiempos de secado. Los ensayos realizados por espectroscopía infrarroja con transformada de Fourier (FTIR), mostraron enlaces esteres que demostraron la formación del poliéster tanto para las resinas alquídicas de sacha inchi como para las de linaza. Los ensayos de termogravimetría (TGA) y el análisis térmico diferencial (DTG), determinaron sus propiedades térmicas, sobresaliendo las resinas que contenían en su formulación anhídrido maleico; esto debido a que le brindó un aumento de su densidad de reticulación. Por lo tanto, se demostró que las resinas alquídicas sintetizadas con el aceite de sacha inchi tienen propiedades muy similares a las resinas sintetizadas con el aceite de linaza, incluso mejorando la retención de color, tiempo de secado y estabilidad térmica.

Este proyecto presenta el estudio preliminar para la implementación de una planta de producción de aceite de Sacha Inchi (Plukenetia Volubilis), a partir de las semillas de esta misma. Para determinar si el proyecto es viable, se realizó un arduo estudio de mercado, con el cuál determinamos la demanda del proyecto utilizando como referencia su principal y más utilizado producto sustituto, el aceite de oliva. Para extraer la información, se utilizó una gran cantidad de bases de datos, entre ellas Euromonitor, Ipsos Apoyo, entre otras. Así mismo se realizó un estudio para determinar el tamaño y la localización de planta en el Perú, utilizando herramientas aprendidas en el transcurso de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, como Guerchet, ranking de factores, diagramaciones, etc. Los cuales fueron de mucha ayuda para determinar el lugar de localización y su tamaño adecuado, optimizando los espacios necesarios, la cercanía de la maquinaria y a su vez, optimizar los costos de producción.
This project presents the preliminary study for a production plant of Sacha Inchi Oil (Plukenetia Volubilis). To determine if the project is viable, we made an arduous market study. We used these results in addition to the reference of its substitute product the Olive Oil to determine the demand. To obtain the information, it was used a lot of databases, among them Euromonitor, Ipsos Apoyo, among others. In addition, a study to determine the size and location of the plant in Peru was made, using tools learned in the course of Industrial Engineering, as Guerchet, “Ranking de factores”, layouts and others. These methods, which were very helpful to determine the place of location and adequate size of the plant, also help us optimize the space needed, the proximity of machinery and optimize production costs.

O crescimento do mercado de software a cada dia acarreta o aumento do uso de técnicas de desenvolvimento, muitas vezes informais. A manutenção de tais softwares torna-se problemática, uma vez que a documentação associada ao software, na maioria das vezes, não está de acordo com o código implementado. Dessa forma, quando diante da manutenção do produto, o engenheiro de software encontra uma documentação informal e incompleta, que não reflete o software existente. Nesse contexto é que se encontra a Engenharia Reversa de Software, com o propósito de recuperar as informações de projeto perdidas durante a fase de desenvolvimento, e de documentar o real estado do software. O principal objetivo deste trabalho de mestrado foi a investigação de uma estrutura adequada de hiperdocumento para apoiar a documentação requerida durante o processo de engenharia reversa de software. A partir de um levantamento dos requisitos desejáveis em um hiperdocumento, para que possua as habilidades de suporte à documentação de engenharia de reversa de software, um conjunto de links e estrutura de nós foi definido. Os requisitos, para a composição de tal hiperdocumento, foram investigados por meio de uma experiência: a autodocumentação do sistema hipermídia denominado SASHE (Sistema de Autoria e Suporte Hipermídia para Ensino), que já possui suporte ao tratamento de nós aninhados e outras características de aplicativo para ensino. A engenharia reversa foi desenvolvida baseando-se no método de engenharia reversa Fusion-RE/I, e os produtos obtidos foram inseridos em uma hiperbase no SASHE.

Abstract:

Las resinas alquídicas son poliésteres insaturados de aceite modificado y su producción actual cubre más del 70% de la demanda para recubrimientos poliméricos destinados a la obtención de pinturas, adhesivos, lacas y otros. En el caso de las pinturas, se viene restringiendo a nivel mundial el contenido de solventes, un ejemplo es el parlamento Europeo que, desde 2004, legisla para disminuir las emisiones de compuestos orgánicos volátiles (COVs) al ambiente. Por ello, la industria de pinturas viene desarrollando tecnología de altos sólidos como en el caso de las resinas alquídicas de baja viscosidad que requieren menor uso de solventes para ser formuladas, manipuladas y aplicadas. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo sintetizar y caracterizar resinas alquídicas con baja viscosidad lo que equivale a decir pinturas con reducido contenido de solventes, menor al 30% p/p. Con este fin, fueron sintetizadas siete tipos de resinas de cadena media por el método de alcohólisis-esterificación, a partir de aceite y ácido grasos de sacha inchi y linaza, empleando como polioles, trimetilolpropano (TMP) y pentaeritritol (PE) y como poliácido, el anhídrido ftálico (AF). Las resinas a base de aceite sacha inchi fueron sintetizadas con distintas proporciones de TMP/PE mientras que las resinas a base de aceite linaza y ácidos grasos, fueron sintetizadas a una sola proporción TMP/PE con fines comparativos. La caracterización fue realizada empleando resinas al 90% en sólidos (10% de solvente (p/p). Se evaluaron las propiedades fisicoquímicas de las resinas en estado líquido y como películas secas y curadas. Así mismo, se estudió la influencia de variación de composición de TMP, y se comparó el uso de ácidos grasos y aceites como materias primas para la síntesis de las resinas alquídicas. El incremento de TMP en resinas alquídicas base aceite de sacha inchi, aumentó su tendencia a bajar viscosidad, oscurecer, mejoró su estabilidad térmica y disminuyó los tiempos de secado. Las resinas sintetizadas con ácidos grasos presentaron baja viscosidad, menores tiempos de secado y mejor estabilidad térmica en comparación con sus respectivos aceites y finalmente, los ensayos de FTIR, RMN 1H y 13C confirmaron la obtención de las resinas alquídicas.

Abstract:

Neste trabalho foram estudadas duas abordagens para a obtenção de novos metabólitos secundários a partir de fungos. Na primeira, o ácido hidroxâmico suberoilanilida (SAHA) e cinco análogos foram sintetizados. Sua atividade como modificadores epigenéticos foi avaliada em oito linhagens fúngicas do ambiente marinho. Os fungos Penicillium sp. e Acremonium sp. apresentaram modificações no seu perfil metabolómico quando foram crescidos em pequena escala em presença do derivado 4F-SAHA, enquanto Microphaeropsis sp. apresentou modificação em presença do 3AM-SAHA. O fungo P. decaturense foi crescido em maior escala e os compostos de interesse foram isolados. Na segunda abordagem, uma nova estratégia de extração utilizando mistura de resinas XAD 2-4-7 permitiu a extração e posterior isolamento de seis novos alcaloides peptídicos (72-77) e dois peptídeos (78-79) a partir da fração aquosa do meio de cultivo do fungo antártico Penicillium solitum IS1-A. Utilizando a mesma metodologia, o metabolismo secundário do fungo antártico Thelebolus globosus E2 foi estudado. A partir de seu extrato metanólico do meio liquido PDB foram isoladas a ciclopenina (86) e o ciclopenol (87) e foram detectados os alcaloides viridicatina (88) e viridicatol (89). O fungo Thelebolus globosus mostrou-se produtor de estatinas, sendo isoladas como composto majoritário a mevastatina (90).
In this work two approaches to obtain new secondary metabolites from fungi were studied. Suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA) and five analogues were synthesized and assessed as epigenetic modifiers in eight marine-derived fungi. The fungus Penicillium sp. and Acremonium sp. presented changes in their metabolomic profile when they were grown on a small scale in presence of 4F-SAHA derivative and Microphaeropsis sp. presented a modification in the presence of the 3 AM-SAHA. In the second approach a new extraction strategy using XAD 2-4-7 resin mixture allowed the extraction and subsequent isolation of six new peptide alkaloids (72-77) and two peptides (78-79) from the aqueous fraction of the culture medium of the Antarctic fungus Penicillium solitum IS1-A. Using the same methodology, the secondary metabolism of the Antarctic fungus Thelebolus globosus E2 was studied. From the methanolic extract of the PDB liquid medium cyclopenine (86) and cyclopenol (87) were isolated and the viridicatine (88) and viridicatol (89) alkaloids were detected. The fungus Thelebolus globosus was shown to be a producer of statins, mainly of mevastatin (90).

Bioimpedance is the term given to the complex impedance value that is characteristic of the resistance that biological cells offer to the flow of electric current. The objective of this study is to analyze the differences in the bioimpedance of highly metastatic MDA-MB-231 and normal MCF 10A breast epithelial cells and use this information to detect a very small number of breast cancer cells present in a background of normal breast cells and other cells that are typically present in a human biopsy sample.To accomplish this, a bioimpedance sensor with flat gold microelectrodes on a silicon substrate was designed and fabricated. Suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA), an FDA-approved anti-cancer agent was used to improve the sensitivity of the bioimpedance sensor towards cancer cells by selectively modifying their cytoarchitecture.

L’athérosclérose est caractérisée par l’accumulation de lipides dans les artères de gros et moyen calibre. Cette accumulation est due à une série de mécanismes complexes aboutissant a une réaction inflammatoire chronique et l’accumulation de cellules spumeuse dans l’espace neointimale de la paroi vasculaire. Les complications liées à cette pathologie peuvent entraîner des événements vasculaires graves, tels que l’infarctus du myocarde ou les accidents vasculaires cérébraux. Nos travaux de recherches s’inscrivent dans le cadre de la Gutenberg Health Study, une étude de population dans la région de Mayence (Mainz) en Allemagne, dont le but est d’identifier de nouveaux marqueurs biologiques et cibles thérapeutiques liées aux maladies cardiovasculaires, avec un accent particulier sur l’athérosclérose. Nos précédents travaux ont démontré que l’expression de certains gènes dans les monocytes circulants était corrélée à la fois au tabagisme et à l’athérosclérose, ouvrant ainsi de nouvelles perspectives pour expliquer les mécanismes par lesquels le tabagisme accélère la formation des plaques d’athérosclérose. Parmi ces gènes, SASH1, un gène suppresseur de tumeur était le plus corrélé au tabagisme, tout en étant également corrélé au nombre de plaques. Un autre gène, SLC39A8, montrait la plus forte corrélation avec le nombre de plaque. Mon travail de thèse a consisté à explorer le rôle de SASH1, un gène suppresseur de tumeur, et SLC39A8, un symporteur HCO3-/ion métallique divalent, in vitro pour tenter de déterminer par quels mécanismes cellulaires et moléculaires ils pouvaient affecter la formation de la plaque d’athérosclérose. L’étude sur SASH1 porte en particulier sur la paroi vasculaire où SASH1 a été détectée dans toutes les cellules présentes (cellules endothéliales, cellules musculaires lisses, monocytes et macrophages). De plus, des mesures en RT-qPCR ont montré que l’expression de SASH1 était plus élevée dans les carotides de fumeurs que dans celles des non-fumeurs et ex-fumeurs, confirmant ainsi les observations déjà faites dans les monocytes circulants humains
Atherosclerosis is characterized by lipids accumulation in medium and big size arteries, as the result of a complex series of mechanisms leading to chronic inflammation and accumulation of macrophage-derived foam cells in the intimal space of the vessels leading to atherosclerotic plaque formation. Rupture of the plaque can lead to life threatening events, such as myocardial infarction and stroke. Our scientific work is in the frame of the Gutenberg Health Study, a population based study in the region of Mainz in Germany, which goal is to identify new biological markers and therapeutic targets, with a particular focus on atherosclerosis. These previous studies have shown through transcriptomic analyses that a number of gene expression were correlated to both smoking and atherosclerosis, opening new perspective to better characterize mechanisms linking smoking to atherosclerosis. Among those genes SASH1, a tumor suppressor was the most correlated to smoking and was also correlated to plaques. Another gene of interest, SLC39A8 showed the strongest correlation to plaques. This thesis project aimed at exploring the role of the tumor suppressor SASH1 and the metallic ion transporter in vitro to determine the cellular and molecular mechanisms by which they could affect plaque formation during atherosclerosis

Abstract:

Existen diversos tipos de biopolímeros presentes en la naturaleza que por lo general son biocompatibles y biodegradables como es el caso del alginato de sodio. Algunos incluso presentan propiedades antibacterianas como la quitosana que proviene de la quitina, presente en el exoesqueleto de los crustáceos e insectos. Asimismo, existen productos naturales que, por su composición química, presentan propiedades antioxidantes, por ejemplo, el aceite de oliva o el aceite de sacha inchi. Este último proviene de las semillas del fruto del sacha inchi autóctono de la región amazónica en Sudamérica. Por otro lado, se sabe que la microencapsulación es un proceso mediante el cual un gas, líquido o material sólido se rodea y queda encerrado por una pared polimérica porosa que contiene una sustancia activa y de esta forma se protege y se aísla del entorno para, posteriormente, liberarlo según sea necesario. El presente trabajo estudió la formación de microcápsulas de quitosana y alginato para encapsular compuestos antioxidantes provenientes de distintos tipos de aceites como el de soya, de oliva y de sacha inchi. Se formaron emulsiones de cada aceite a analizar y se varió la cantidad de surfactante. Se estudió la estabilidad de las emulsiones por un periodo de un mes. Luego, se caracterizaron por medio de la técnica ATR-FTIR. Posteriormente, se analizó la eficiencia de la encapsulación y su liberación con respecto al tiempo. Por último, se analizó la actividad antioxidante que presentaban los aceites, los polímeros y las microcápsulas por medio de una técnica de transferencia de electrones (ABTS).

Abstract:

Estudia el comportamiento de catalizadores del sistema Ni-Fe soportado sobre aerosil. Los catalizadores fueron preparados al 9,09 % W de contenido metálico. El método utilizado fue el de impregnación secuencial a partir de las sales de los nitratos respectivos, y a fracciones molares respecto al níquel entre 0,00 y 1,00; seguido de secado, calcinado y reducción con hidrogeno. Los catalizadores se caracterizaron mediante las técnicas: Absorción atómica, Difracción de rayos X, Reducción a Temperatura Programada, Microscopia Electrónica de Transmisión y Isotermas de Adsorción de N2 a 77 K. El análisis de la actividad de los catalizadores se realizó en un reactor batch, a 455 K, 500 r.p.m. y un flujo de 200 mL/min de hidrógeno por un periodo de tiempo de 4 horas. Las medidas de actividad se determinaron mediante índice de iodo y cromatografía de gases. Resultando una mayor actividad en el catalizador con fracción molar de 1.0 con respecto al níquel, en el cual se observa una disminución del índice de yodo del aceite de sacha inchi de 190,4 a 126.8; Igualmente se observa disminución del ácido linolénico que cambia de un 43.2% a 1,0 %.

Abstract:

La producción de biomasa residual, como consecuencia de las actividades humanas constituye fuente de energía y materiales desaprovechados con grave peligro para la biosfera y daño a sus recursos naturales. Dentro de la composición de residuos sólidos, se encuentran en mayor proporción los de materia orgánica y dentro de estos se encuentran los residuos producidos por la industria aceitera y de granos oleosos que se incrementa en estos últimos años. El presente trabajo de investigación realizó un estudio, farmacognóstico, bromatológico y toxicológico de los residuos industriales de la extracción del aceite de Plukenetia volubilis L. para su aprovechamiento total y contribuir al desarrollo sostenible del país. En los resultados del estudio farmacognóstico se ha encontrado: esteroides, taninos y saponósidos. Los valores promedios obtenidos de taninos y saponinas totales en g% de muestra fueron: 1,3 x 10-5 y 0,42±0.01 respectivamente. En el estudio bromatológico: humedad, proteínas totales, extracto etéreo, fibra bruta, cenizas, extracto libre de nitrógeno (g%):5,09±0,06; 34,26±0,01; 37,33±2,87; 3,16±1,08 y 3,24±0,33 respectivamente. Fibra detergente neutro 16,33. Calcio, fósforo, hierro y tiamina en mg/100g: 317,83; 560,00; 4,19 y 0,31 respectivamente. La digestibilidad de proteínas in vitro por nitrógeno soluble en pepsina y celulasa fue de (g%): 86,89±0,33 y 90,71±1.73. y aminoácidos esenciales mg/g: histidina 9,00; isoleucina 180,00; leucina 69,00; lisina 39,00; metionina 13,00; fenilalanina+tirosina 31,00; treonina 68,00 y valina 31,00. El estudio del ensayo toxicológico a dosis limite demostró la inocuidad de los residuos a dosis de 2000 mg/kg
The production of residual biomass as a result of huma activities, in addition to being a source of energy and materials almost entirely untapped, it presents a great danger to the biosphere where uncontrolled discharge or abandonment damages or destroys natural resources. Within the composition of solid waste, is in the highest proportion of organic matter and within these are the wastes produced by the oil industry and oil seeds. The industrial production of oil sacha inchi this increase in recent years, therefore, the production of waste is increasing. This research conducts a survey pharmacognostic, dieticians, and toxicology of industrial waste from the extraction of oil sacha inchi to be harvested at 100% and thus contribute to sustainable development of the country. In the study results pharmacognostic were found as secondary metabolites: steroids, tannins and saponins heterosides. The average values derived from tannins and saponins in g% of total sample were: 1.3 x 10-5 and 0.42 ± 0.01 respectively. The study bromatological: Moisture, total protein, ether extract, crude fiber, ash, nitrogen free extract (g %): 5.09 ± 0.06; 34.26± 0.01; 37.33 ± 2.87; 3.16±1.08 and 3.24± 0.33 respectively. Neutral detergent fiber, 16.33. Calcium, phosphorus, iron, thiamine mg/100g: 317, 83; 560, 00; 4, 19 and 0, 31 respectively. In vitro protein digestibility of nitrogen soluble in pepsin and cellulase (g%): 86.89±0.33 and 90.71±1.73 Essential amino acids mg / g: histidne 9,00; isoleucine 180,00; leucine 69,00; lysine 39,00; methionine 13,00; phenylalanine + tyrosine 31,00; threonine 68,00 and valine 31,00. The results demonstrated the toxicological safety of the aqueous extract fixed dose of 2000 mg / kg.

Abstract:

La presente etude analyse les relations entre le gouvernement de russie et la republique sakha (iakoutie), le plus vaste des 89 territoires membres de la federation de russie. Depuis la disparition de l'union sovietique, ces relations connaissent des changements spectaculaires. Les dirigeants de la republique sakha participent desormais a la gestion de dossiers importants qui concernent leur territoire, comme le controle de l'extraction et de l'utilisation des ressources naturelles, les strategies de developpement, les parametres ethniques et demographiques, les cultures des populations autochtones. Cette participation, variable selon les dossiers, est le resultat d'une negociation entre les dirigeants politiques de la republique sakha et le gouvernement federal. Jusqu'en 1995. Les dirigeants iakoutes ont obtenu des engagements et des transferts de competences qui stimulent un developpement autonome du territoire. Malgre la presence d'aspects conflictuels dans les relations entre moscou et iakoutsk, et malgre un essor du nationalisme sakha, tolere par le pouvoir central, l'elite politique de iakoutie ne semble pas envisager la separation complete de la russie
This study analyses the relations between the russian government and the sakha republic (yakutia), the largest of the 89 territories which make up the russian federation. Since the disappearance of the soviet union, the relationship has altered. Leaders of the sakha republic now have a say in important decisions concerning their territory, e. G. Supervision of the extraction and use of natural resources, development policies, ethnic and demographic affairs and the culture of indigenous groups. The level of participation varies according to the matter in hand and is the result of negotiation between leaders of the sakha republic and the federal government. Up to 1995 yakut leaders have obtained the transfer of certain powers which promote the development of the autonomy of this territory. Despite conflicting views in the relations between moscow and yakutsk and despite an increase in sakha nationalism, tolerated by the central government, it is unlikely that the political elite of the sakha republic will endorse the idea of full separation from russia
