The article explores the influence of the traditional Japanese technique of sashi-mono carpentry on contemporary art and design. The technique, which involves the creation of wooden joints without the use of glue or metal fasteners, has become the embodiment of the principles of minimalism, functionality, and aesthetics inherent in Japanese culture.
