Abstract:
Population studies are essential for understanding different aspects of species’ biology, estimating extinction probability, and determining evolutionary and life history. Using the mark-recapture method, we studied the abundance and population structure of dung beetle species (Deltochilum mexicanum and Dichotomius satanas) over one year in a human-modified landscape in Mexico. We captured 1960 individuals with a net recapture rate of 11%. Deltochilum mexicanum had a higher rate of recapture (14%) than Dichotomius satanas (5%). Annual variation in abundance was similar for both species, with maximum abundance occurring in summer and a marked reduction during winter. Deltochilum mexicanum was dominant inside the forest, and its abundance was influenced by vegetation cover, temperature, and humidity. Dichotomius satanas was more frequent outside the forest, and none of the considered environmental variables affected its abundance. The adult sex ratio of Deltochilum mexicanum was female-biased, whereas that of Dichotomius satanas was male-biased. The maximum estimated population size was similar for both species, but Deltochilum mexicanum had a higher number of new individuals and survival rate. Since species with different biological attributes presented a similar pattern of abundance and population structure, we conclude that environmental conditions are the main regulator of dung beetle populations in the human-modified landscape.

Abstract:
Introduction Distal extrusion of cylinders is a potential complication of the penile prosthesis implantation. Several methods have been proposed for repairing a distal penile erosion. We present our preliminary experience in “Distal corporoplasty” technique. Methods We enrolled 18 consecutive patients whose underwent a distal corporoplasty with simultaneous reimplantation of an “AMS 700 inflatable penile prosthesis (LGX)” from January 2013 to November 2015 at our hospital. All procedures were performed by a single surgical team. Intraoperative and postoperative complications have been classified and reported according to Satava6 and Clavien-Dindo (CD) system.7 Mean values with standard deviations (±SD) were computed and reported for all items. Results Mean age of the patients was 53.61 (±11.90) years. Mean body max index (BMI) was 24.22 (±2.51). Mean operative time was 85.2 (±13.1) minutes. Blood losses were minimal. No intraoperative complications are reported according to Satava classification. Four out of 18 patients (22.22%) experienced postoperative complications according to CD system. All patients had sexual intercourse for the first time postsurgery after a mean of 59.11 ± 2.08 days. Mean follow-up was 22.11 (±9.95). Discussions Distal extrusion of cylinders is a potential complication of the penile prosthesis implantation. Distal corporoplasty was first described by Mulcahy. He reported a series of 14 patients with a follow-up of about 2 years with optimal functional outcomes. Moreover, distal corporoplasty resulted in shorter operative time, better function, less pain, and fewer recurrences than Gortex windsock repair.10 In our experience, distal corporoplasty is a simple and safe procedure in the treatment of distal cylinders extrusion when the prosthetic material is not exposed to the exterior.

Abstract:

Abstract:
One of the efforts made to re-explore Susastra texts is the Niti Sataka text because the Niti Sataka text discusses 100 Shlokas about ethics and morals. Before practicing ethics in the community, it is better to apply it daily at home or with their family. These two words have a relationship with each other. In meaning, ethics and morals are often interpreted as the same even though they are different. Ethics are moral philosophy, while morals are our good and bad behavior. For example, Hinduism does not allow killing. Morally, it is not justified but can be justified ethically, such as killing animals for sacrifice during the war. In the Niti Sataka book, one of the teachings is that every educator needs to pay attention to students as they pay attention to their own children. Creating intelligence for all students is the main task of educators. Ethical and moral education is essential and related to one another because ethical education is related to human behavior or actions, namely good and bad deeds. In comparison, moral education makes humans moral or humane, especially in attitudes and how their daily behavior. Based on the explanation above, this study examined (1) what is the structure of the Niti Sataka text, (2) what are the main points of Hindu teachings in the Niti Sataka text, and (3) what is the form of ethical education in the Niti Sataka text. The theory used in analyzing the problem formulations was the theory of structuralism and the theory of hermeneutics. The type of research used was literature research. The method used in this study was the literature study method and the interview method. The study results indicated that (1) the structure of the Niti Sataka text is a shloka on ethics. The researcher chose several ethical shlokas, namely appropriate behavior, respecting good people, always doing good, helping selflessly, and being humble. (2) the main teachings of Hinduism in the text of Niti Sataka were manacika (thinking well), wacika (good speech), and kayika (good deeds). (3) the form of ethical education in the Niti Sataka text was descriptive ethics of ethics that can be seen critically and rationally in human attitudes and behavior and what human goals were precious in life. Normative ethics, attitudes, and behavior based on applicable norms or rules and ideal morality must be carried out by humans/society. Individual ethics, all things related to your daily life, will change according to your desires without being ordered by other people or your own family. According to all its dimensions, social ethics made humans aware of their responsibilities as humans in their lives as members of society.

Abstract:
AbstractThe endemic bearded sakis Chiropotes satanas Satanas and Chiropotes satanas utahicki of south-eastern Amazonia are among the most threatened of this region's primates because of a combination of deforestation and hunting, and their apparent intolerance of habitat disturbance. Recent surveys at eight sites confirm that sakis are locally extinct in some areas where intense habitat fragmentation is exacerbated by hunting pressure, but also show that, in the absence of hunting, they can be relatively abundant in isolated forest fragments. Density was unexpectedly low in one protected area, however, which implies that caution is necessary for the planning of long-term conservation strategies. Well-protected forest fragments of reasonable size ( > 5000 ha) appear to have good potential for the protection of bearded saki populations. While many of the region's major landowners may thus make a significant contribution to the management of saki populations, land conflicts are a potentially serious problem for the long-term conservation of not just these primates, but the region's fauna and flora as a whole.

Abstract:
With the rise of satellite-as-a-service subscriptions as technology improves, our paper examines how satellite operators (SOs) can choose between traditional channels for selling satellites, satellite-as-a-service (SataaS), and dual-channel strategies. In the space supply chain, commercial satellites display several distinct characteristics that differentiate them from other physical commodities in traditional supply chains, most notably their exposure to significant launch risks. In addition, SataaS suffers from the risk of secure data transmission. However, the emergence of novel technologies such as blockchain technology (BCT) could help to mitigate such risks. Therefore, our study analyzes the optimal strategy among the sell, SataaS, and dual-channel approaches for SOs by considering the above distinctive characteristics in the case without blockchain and the case with blockchain. Our paper reveals the existence of a dual-channel strategy that generates the highest profit for the SO and yields the highest consumer utility when launch success is high and when SataaS fixed costs are low. When the launch success rate is very high, the dual-channel strategy transforms into a pure sell strategy. After the adoption of BCT, when the cost of BCT is low, the SO’s profit is enhanced in all three sales channels compared to the case without blockchain. Notably, in SataaS as well as in the dual-channel approach, the adoption of BCT always improves consumer utility compared to the case without blockchain. However, in the sell channel, the consumer benefits depend on the relatively low cost of blockchain customization.

Abstract:
There is increasing evidence that whale and dolphin watching activities have detrimental effects on targeted cetacean populations. In Egypt, spinner dolphins regularly occur in the resting areas of Samadai, Satayah and Qubbat'Isa reefs. In-water human interactions with dolphins are regulated with a time-area closure system at Samadai, unregulated at Satayah and non-existent at Qubbat'Isa. This provided an ideal experimental setting to advance our understanding of the effects of tourism on a species highly sensitive to disturbances. Our study confirmed that the intensity and duration of interactions, and therefore, dolphin exposure to tourism, differed among the study sites. Compared with the Qubbat'Isa control site, behavioural reactions to boats and swimmers at the two tourism sites suggested that dolphin rest was disrupted, especially around the middle of the day and especially at Satayah, where dolphin tourism is unregulated. Our results indicate also that the dolphin protection measures at Samadai reduce the level of disturbance. We recommend that similar measures be implemented at other dolphin tourism locations, and that no new operations be initiated until the long-term impacts on dolphin populations are better understood. Our experience emphasizes the need to adopt precautionary approaches in research and management of whale and dolphin watching.

Abstract:
Recent work, published in Anatolian Studies and other journals, has drawn attention to the site of Satala, the modern Sadak (in the province of Gümüşhane, district of Kelkit, map Erzincan 116-p). The importance of Satala is self-evident but the impending loss of Samosata, the base of the legio XVI Flavia Firma, has increased the archaeological value of the remaining two legionary centres, Melitene and Satala. It is to be hoped that further work at Sadak will augment the four texts presented here. The following inscriptions were recorded in Sadak village in 1981, at the house of Ahmet Yegin, who had brought them from a field across the valley to the north of the village outside the area of the Roman fortress. On the testimony of the owner and the other villagers, all the gravestones came from the same ancient cemetery and were found in situ. No others have since come to light (by 31. xii. 1982).

Yellow satawar (family: Asparagaceae) is a very important medicinal plant, which is used in Ayurveda and traditional medicine system used as a reproductive tonic. It is also used treating gonorrhea, piles, diabetes, increasing lactation, antihelminthic, rheumatism, cough, diarrhea, dysentery, gastric troubles and headache etc. The major active constituents of Asparagus are steroidal saponin (shatavarin) that is present in the roots. Other active compounds are quercetin, rutin, vitamin A, B1, B2, C, E, Mg, P, Ca, Fe and folic acid. Dry roots of pili satawar with good quality are in high demand in national/international market due to it high prices (250/kg). The global production of pili satawar is around 200 tonns/year in which 150 tonne exported to European countries including USA by the China, India and Nepal. A new variety (CIM Sunahari) of Asparagus has been developed at CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow through half sib family selection) approach for high yield of roots with desirable quality of saponin. The variety CIM Sunahari consistently showed higher root yield in field trials with an average dry root yield of 97.55 q/ha and 11.027% saponins. The newly developed variety CIM Sunahari is able to produce 40 % more root yield than the check. The cultivation of this new variety is likely to boost societal economic impact on farmers societies of Uttrakhand and northern.

Judith Butler).

Abstract:

Abstract:
Late Pleistocene glacial chronologies developed for the Front Range Mountains of Colorado include two or more cirque glacier advances, locally known as the Satanta Peak Advances. Sediment cores were recovered from Sky Pond, an alpine lake (3320 m) located less than 100 m downvalley from a moraine that exhibits late Pleistocene to early Holocene relative age features and appears to correlate to the Satanta Peak deposits. One of the cores penetrated 0.5 m of basal diamict and recovered 3.3 m of overlying sediments that are predominantly gyttja. An accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) age of 12,040 ± 60 yr14C B.P. was obtained from directly above the basal diamict and is similar to other reported ages for cirque deglaciation in the Front Range Mountains. The lower portion of the gyttja contains an interval of clastic sediments that show characteristics consistent with glacial activity in alpine catchments. Radiocarbon ages obtained from below and near the upper contact of this clastic interval are 11,070 ± 50 and 9970 ± 8014C yr B.P., respectively. An additional AMS age of 10,410 ± 9014C yr B.P. was obtained from within the clastic interval in a second core. The most likely source for this interval of clastic sediments is a moraine situated directly upvalley from Sky Pond, and consequently, it appears that the deposition of this moraine was coeval with the European Younger Dryas event (11,000–10,00014C yr B.P.). Similarities in soil development, weathering features, and altitude between this moraine and the type Satanta Peak moraines suggest that the moraines are correlative. These findings are in agreement with a growing body of evidence that suggests a relatively minor advance of alpine glaciers occurred in the North American Rockies during the Younger Dryas Chron.

Abstract:
Předmětem studie je uměnovědná, antropologická a historická analýza grafického díla belgického ilustrátora a grafika Féliciena Ropse (1833–1898). Originální umělecká tvorba Ropse integrovala dekadentní erotiku, nihilistický symbolismus a tabuizovaná sexuální témata.

Abstract:
The priority for the Sasanid rulers was to eliminate from the throne of Armenia, the Parthian Arsacid dynasty, linked by blood ties to the formerly abolished Iranian ruling dynasty. In 298, the Battle of Satala took place in Armenia, in which the Roman army commanded by Caesar Galerius won a crushing victory over the Sassanian troops headed by King Narseh. The Romans captured huge amounts of booty and captured the Persian royal family. The campaign ended with a peace treaty very favourable to Rome, in which Narseh renounced Trans-Tigritania, pledged non-intervention in Armenia, and recognised the Roman protectorate in Iberia. The revision of the so-called Treaty of Nisibis was the foundation of the Persian-Roman wars in the 4th century carried out by Shapur II. In this study, it is aimed to give information about the effect of the Battle of Satala on the beginning of the Persian-Roman wars in the 4th century and its results.

Abstract:
Marine remote sensing (MRS) data provide an important tool for advancing global change research. However, the existing product service practices are insufficient for meeting the needs of a full-experience online application. This paper introduces a framework named SatANA, which is unified by a data tiling method with a spatial-aware feature, for integrated and intelligent improvements in visualization, storage and computing. The SatANA framework is supported by a hybrid database storage ideal for the cloud storage of massive MRS data. The raw data are displayed and roamed on a virtual globe through the Internet as tiles, enhancing their spatial awareness, that can be intelligently used for visualization result tuning, data storage preloading and distributed computing optimized indexing. To verify its feasibility and effectiveness, we applied this framework to a platform called SatCO2, which is devoted to providing convenient access to and the efficient utilization of MRS data.

Abstract:
Pune and Satara districts ofWestern Maharashtra are the important districts cultivating rose and gerbera flowers.Markets are impulses for improved farm production and quality produce.Marketing management is useful for decision making regarding viability. Hence, an attempt has been made to study the marketing management and constraints in marketing of cut flowers under polyhouses in the Pune and Satara districts of Maharashtra by estimating thecost of marketing and price spread with the information on packaging, transportation and selling pattern of cut flowers. For the present study a sample of 30 rose and 30 gerberacut flowers growers was drawn from Pune and Satara districts. The primary data requiredon the various aspects were collected through pre tested questionnaire by personnel interview of respondents pertained to the agriculture year 2018-19.The data were analyzed with simple statistical tools viz., percentages and averages. Garrett’s ranking technique was employed to rank the constraints in marketing of cut flowers. The results revealed that, about 85 per cent of the rose produce and 82 per cent of gerbera produce sold in Pune and Mumbai market. On an average 74 per cent rose growers and 62 per cent gerbera growers sold their produce at a predetermined price.Commission of commission agents shared more than 50 per cent in cost of marketing of rose and gerbera cut flowers. The margins of wholesalers and retailers were higher in the marketing of gerbera than rose cut flowers. Producers share in consumers’ rupee was higher in rose cut flowersthan gerbera.Price fluctuations followed by increasing demand of dummy/artificial flowers was the major constraintin marketing of cut flowers.

Abstract:
The Majapahit Kingdom was a kingdom that had very good relations with foreign kingdoms in Southeast Asia and foreign kingdoms outside Southeast Asia. One of them is with China, which is a foreign kingdom in the East Asia region. This is because the Majapahit kingdom has a foreign policy called Mitreka Satata which means equal/equal. With this foreign policy, Majapahit was able to establish relationships with foreign kingdoms, one of which was China, which was a foreign kingdom outside Southeast Asia. Kakawin Desawarnana and Notes written by the Chinese themselves also briefly mention the very good relations between Majapahit and China in terms of trade. It was through this trade that Mitreka Satata's relationship between Majapahit and China could be formed and continued very well. In fact, because of trade, there are many Chinese and Majapahit people in social life. Therefore, this research will conduct an in-depth study of the Mitreka Satata relationship between Majapahit and China through existing historical sources.
