Martin, Lucas D. "The Satisfaction of Participants In Utah's Mutual Self-Help Housing Program." DigitalCommons@USU, 2012. https://digitalcommons.usu.edu/etd/1252.

Full text
Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to create a profile of Mutual Self-Help participants in Utah, measure their satisfaction with the program, and identify factors that lead to the willingness of participants to refer the program to others. The sample consisted of program participants at Neighborhood Nonprofit Housing Corporation and Rural Community Development Corporation from 2002 to 2009. A survey instrument was used to collect the data from the 114 responses. Descriptive statistics were used to create the profile of clients, satisfaction scores were analyzed with a t test, and a logistic regression was used to identify factors that contribute to participant referrals. Clients were on average White, had 2.4 dependents, and had at least some college or vocational education. Most were first-time homeowners, had more than $20,000 in equity, and had never missed a payment. The majority of clients reported high levels of satisfaction with the program, their home, and the neighborhood. Satisfaction with their home proved to be the major predictor of referring the program to others, significant at less than .01. The findings indicate that program participants are satisfied with the program. They have high levels of satisfaction, are likely to refer the program to others, and have derived significant benefits from the program in terms of equity and stability. This information can be used by nonprofits who administer the program, the USDA Rural Development who funds the program, and legislators who determine funding levels to assess the inputs and outputs of the program and better serve their clients.

Abstract:
An increasing number of first-generation college students enroll in college each year. However, according to national statistics, as many as 900,000 first-generation college students drop out each year. Colleges have developed summer bridge programs to help first-generation students succeed; participants have shown an increase in grade point average (GPA) and retention. There is limited research focusing specifically on private nonprofit university bridge programs, and national statistics show 34% of first-generation college students electing private universities. Thus, the purpose of this quantitative cross-sectional study was to evaluate a private nonprofit university bridge program called the Pfeiffer Readiness Education Program. Using the Seidman retention model as a theoretical framework, this study investigated student satisfaction, retention, GPA, and credits earned versus attempted for first-generation participants in an early intervention program. To determine statistical significance between groups of first-generation participants (n = 39) and first-generation nonparticipants (n = 35), t test is used. The early intervention program demonstrated statistical significance (p < .05) between participants and nonparticipants in student satisfaction, retention from Fall 2016 to Spring 2017, retention from Fall 2016 to Fall 2017, GPA in Fall 2016, GPA from Fall 2016 to Fall 2017, and credits earned versus attempted ratio for Fall 2016 to Fall 2017. This study may provide staff of similar institutions with understanding of the importance of early intervention programs for first-generation college students. Programs to retain and graduate first-generation college students could promote positive social change.

Flores, Marisa J. "Marital conflict and marital satisfaction among Latina mothers: A comparison of participants in an early intervention program and non-participants." Thesis, University of North Texas, 2008. https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc9104/.

Full text
Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to better understand marital conflict and marital satisfaction among Latina mothers in the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program. Latina mothers living in a marriage or in a committed relationship (n = 91) reported levels of marital conflict and marital satisfaction. Between both groups, non-HIPPY mothers reported significantly less marital satisfaction and more conflict associated with affection than HIPPY mothers. A negative correlation (r = -.495, p <.001, n = 91) indicated that more satisfaction was related to less marital conflict. Out of ten marital conflicts, religion, leisure time, drinking, and other women (outside the relationship) best explained how satisfied mothers were in their relationship with their spouse. In this study, participants who were in the HIPPY program may have more support and higher marital quality. Social service programs such as HIPPY may help families build stronger marriages. Further research on Latino/Hispanic culture and values are important when developing culturally sensitive marriage and couples education.

Khaleghi, Farrah K. "Evaluating Satisfaction of Participants within the Outreach and Engagement Program of MECCA." Thesis, Pepperdine University, 2017. http://pqdtopen.proquest.com/#viewpdf?dispub=10282149.

Abstract:

The present study aimed to provide literature on community-based programs and correlated participant satisfaction, to examine the factors that contribute to participant satisfaction within community-based programs, and to evaluate outcomes of participant satisfaction for MECCA’s O&E program, as well as reflection on components of the O&E program that produce satisfaction ratings. The primary research question of the present study was: Were participants satisfied with their participant in MECCA’s O&E program for both fiscal years and if so, what factors may have contributed to their satisfaction? Through use of description analyses on outcomes of the Participant Satisfaction Survey from MECCA’s six community-based agencies, findings indicate that MECCA provided culturally-responsive and linguistically congruent services. Additionally, participants were satisfied overall with the O&E services and would elect to obtain services from the O&E program again. O&E’s success can be attributed to MECCA’s foundation in cultural responsiveness, diversity empowerment, destigmatizing mental health services, and collaboration with the communities to create and provide community-based programs.

Wilson, Megan. "Differences in Depression, Anxiety, and Life Satisfaction between Intercollegiate Athletes, Intramural Participants, and Non-Athletes." TopSCHOLAR®, 2016. http://digitalcommons.wku.edu/theses/1739.

Full text
Abstract:
It is widely supported that participation in athletics is positively correlated with increased overall health. However, some research indicates that participation in increased levels of competition is positively correlated with higher levels of depression and anxiety. This means, that if compared, athletes competing nationally or internationally would report higher levels of both depression and anxiety than athletes competing at the intercollegiate level. Research indicates that this could be caused by increased amounts of pressure, personal cost, and expectation. This study examines potential differences between intercollegiate, intramural, and non-athletes in these areas on a college campus. The first hypothesis is that depression symptoms will be more present in intercollegiate athletes than in intramural participants. The second hypothesis states that anxiety symptoms will be more prevalent in intercollegiate athletes than in intramural participants. The third hypothesis states that life satisfaction will be greater in intramural participants than in intercollegiate athletes. Lastly, the fourth hypothesis states that perceived social support and athletic identity will mediate the relationship between level of athletic participation and psychopathology. Participants in this study gave informed consent, completed a demographics questionnaire, and scales measuring depression and anxiety, life satisfaction, athletic identity, and perceived social support. The participants were recruited from intercollegiate teams, intramural teams, and psychology courses at Western Kentucky University. The first and second hypotheses were not supported since intramural participants did not have significantly different levels of depression compared to intercollegiate athletes and non-athletes. Results revealed intramural participants are more satisfied with life than intercollegiate and non-athletes, which supports the third hypothesis. The results also revealed that life satisfaction is mediated by both athletic identity and perceived social support, which shows partial support for the fourth hypothesis. The fourth hypothesis was not supported for depression and anxiety because these factors did not have significant differences between the groups so finding a mediating factor was not possible.

YAO, Yechen. "Leisure and life satisfaction among Tai Chi and public square dance participants in Hong Kong." Digital Commons @ Lingnan University, 2015. https://commons.ln.edu.hk/soc_etd/38.

Full text
Abstract:
Public Square Dance, or Guang Chang Wu (GCW) is a form of group dance that originated from Mainland China and has emerged gradually in Hong Kong. Like the more traditional Tai Chi, GCW is popular among the middle-aged and older adults, and is carried out in public spaces. However, the two activities seem to be treated quite differently by both government authorities and the general public. The study aims to compare the physiological, social and psychological benefits of the two forms of exercise. It also seeks to explore whether and how social determinants affect people’s choice to participate in either Tai Chi or GCW. 189 Tai Chi and 188 GCW participants were surveyed. Binary logistic regression, MANOVA and univariate ANOVA were used for data analysis. It is shown that age, gender, birthplace, employment, residence, as well as people’s leisure attitude, all influence the likelihood that someone participates in Tai Chi or GCW. On the other hand, the effects on well-being, social inclusion, social network and life satisfaction are similar between Tai Chi and GCW participants, though the two groups differ in terms of their opinions on leisure satisfaction and utilisation of public space. As GCW is largely an unsanctioned activity in Hong Kong, policy makers should acknowledge the advantages of GCW activity, and adopt measures that regulate GCW participation in Hong Kong. This is not only one of the early studies focused on the cultural differences between Mainland immigrants and natives in Hong Kong, it also has important implications for future research in leisure, gender, ageing and cultural studies.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The purpose of this descriptive exploratory study was to investigate and report patterns of participation and motivational orientations of Institutes for Learning in Retirement (ILR)participants enrolled in ILR programs in the Great Lakes region. In addition, the study sought to identify relevant demographic characteristics for this segment of the population and the effects of ILR upon participation and participants' perceived life satisfaction. The Great Lakes region ILR participant profile was most likely to be female, between the ages of 66 and 70, married and living with spouse. She shared a relatively high economic status and extensive formal educational experience and was affiliated with her ILP program 1 to 2 years.Motives for ILR participation were examined using the Educational Participation Scale (EPS) A-Form (Boshier, 1991). Two influential motives for participation emerged. The first was "Cognitive Interest", the joy of learning for the sake of learning. "Social Contact," having an opportunity to meet new people and make friends, was the second major reason for participation. The perceived life satisfaction or subjective well being of ILR participants was explored using the Life Satisfaction Index A-Form (LSIA) (Neugarten, et al, 1961). Overall respondents revealed a perceived positive life satisfaction. Positive indications of well being include hopeful outlooks for the future, social interactions and sense of accomplishment. Results of this study indicate that the pursuit of intellectually stimulating adult educational programs offered within- a socially stimulating environment appeal to lifelong learners enrolled in Institutes for Learning in Retirement programs. This study supports the conclusion of previous investigators that intellectual stimulation is a strong underlying motivation for participation. The second major finding with regard to reasons for participation in ILR programs was the importance of "social contact."

Hyde, Sara Alexandra. "Do I Date My Dance Partner: An Examination of Marital Satisfaction Among Serious Leisure Participants in Partner Dancing." BYU ScholarsArchive, 2014. https://scholarsarchive.byu.edu/etd/4213.

Full text
Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to compare marital satisfaction among serious leisure participants in partner dancing and their spouses based on their participation patterns in dance (both dancers or only one dancer), with covariates of spousal support, satisfaction with leisure, and leisure-family conflict. This study not only found a significant relationship between marital satisfaction and participation patterns for dancers (participating together β =.2125), but the averages for joint and individual participation patterns fell on either side of the non-distressed versus distressed cut-off score for marital satisfaction, suggesting that participation in a serious leisure activity, like partner dancing, without your spouse was associated with marital distress, and participating with your spouse can help reduce or avoid that stress. Results also suggest that it is role support felt for a specific leisure activity (in this case, dance) that was related to marital satisfaction (β =.4925), but not support felt for general leisure activities or levels of support given. Finally, retiring to bed at the same time was confirmed as an important couple ritual that positively relates to marital satisfaction (β =.1548).

Full text
Abstract:

This study is to develop and establish the satisfaction evaluation indicators of trade show participants toward exhibition host, through literature study, in-depth interviews with experts, members of exhibition association, and some of the representative participants. First, we discuss the relationship between exhibition host and participants, and then analyze the actions of exhibition host during planning stage, exhibition stage and post-exhibition stage and its impact on participants’ performance and preparation, and last, we discuss about its influence on effectiveness and satisfaction of exhibition. Based on the above interviews and actual experiences, the five aspects of actions of trade show exhibition host and its variances will be analyzed and summarized. In September 2004, the initial questionnaire survey was conducted in WuHan, HuBei, China. After revising the questionnaire, the survey was conducted again in July 2005 at Exhibition Hall 1 of Taipei World Trade Center by the participants of two exhibitions—“Taipei International Mold and Equipment Exhibition” and “Taipei International Bio-Tech Exhibition”. Factor analysis and regression analysis were used afterwards to evaluate five aspects of actions of exhibition host (overall quality level of exhibition, marketing performance, exhibition layout, service personnel quality, and entrance/exit support) and its impact on the satisfaction level of participants toward various aspects (booth position, service, preparation, participating effectiveness, and overall satisfaction). After deleting improper variances, a formal “Satisfaction Evaluation of Exhibition Participants” is developed.

Taichung Jazz Festival is an annual international arts and cultural representative festival in Taichung, about 90,000 participants in the 1st festival in 2003, until the 10th festival in 2012 named “Jazz the way you are”, already over 900,000 participants. In 2012 it is the first time to use rebuilt “Calligraphy Greenway Middle” and “CMP Block Museum of Arts”. This study in connection with participants of 2012 Taichung Jazz Festival, to discuss about the satisfaction of site of activities and related facilities, also to explore the satisfaction and difference of respondents’ personal property and experience, and compare participants’ satisfaction and difference from past years. We work through questionnaire, to measure satisfaction degree by Likert scale in five points scale. We stayed in the site several times during the activity, to survey by questionnaire to participants, sampling by convenience sampling. The result shows interviewees of 2012 are more satisfied with sound effect, site planning and leisure space, also satisfaction of past years are the same. It shows in activity of music, sound effect and site planning which interviewees care are highly recognized. Compared with satisfaction degree of past years, events including sound effect, stage decoration, leisure space, site planning, food vendor and arts market are with higher satisfaction degree. It shows organizer’s intention makes participants with greater recognition to activities in 2012. We also finds out that interviewees’ satisfaction degree of stage decoration and lighting is affected by participating days, gratification degree score is obviously higher for people who participated more days, it means people with more time and chance to understand stage decoration and lighting are more satisfied, therefore, they give positive recognition to the organizer. Staying time for 2012 activities of interviewees also influences satisfaction degree of sound effect and leisure space, interviewees participated for shorter time are with higher satisfaction degree because of not easy to find out defect of sound effect, it needs organizer to improve to make long-term participants give higher gratification degree. The first time Taichung Jazz Festival hold in Calligraphy Greenway Middle and CMP Block Museum of Arts in 2012 did gain high satisfaction from participants, they also expect activities in the future. For many years, this activity in Taichung is already expected every year by people who love Jazz, also food vendor and arts market increase attraction. Besides, guide instruction, mobile toilet and shading facilities need to be improved, we hope it will be better in the future, not only to provide opportunity to enjoy Jazz music, but to improve people’s attainment of Jazz music.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among participants’ counseling expectations, their attachment styles, and counseling satisfaction. The 353 subjects who sought individual counseling services at the university counseling centers in Southern Taiwan between September 2013 and May 2014 were selected. The instruments included: Tinsley’s (1982) Expectation about Counseling, modified and translated by Yuan (2009), Scale of Attachment Styles (C.–F. Wang, X.–T. Lin, D.–R. Zhang, 1997), and Counseling Satisfaction Inventory –Brief (CSI, C.-F. Chen , S.–C. Jiang, 2011). Multivariate analysis of variance, canonical correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and structural equation model were examined by means of SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 20.0. The results are as follows: (a) Canonical correlation analysis revealed that counseling expectations, attachment styles, and counseling satisfaction were correlated; (b) If the participants have appropriate expectations toward personal commitment and counselors’ facilitative conditions, their counseling satisfaction is predictably to be higher; and (c) The participants who belong to secure attachment styles rather than the other three styles are positively predicted in terms of facilitating & positive relationship and change & effectiveness dimensionalities ; and (D) Counseling expectations have significant influences on counseling satisfaction, either direct or indirect ways. The participants’ expectation of counseling directly affects the formation of satisfaction: the direct effect size is 0.16; and also through the " preoccupied attachment" indirectly affect counseling satisfaction, the indirect size is -0.23 (p < .05). These findings revealed that preoccupied attachment styles might mediate the relation between counseling expectation and counseling satisfaction. Research findings, implications for counseling practices, and recommendations for future research are further discussed.

Vietnam Airlines in general and Flight Training Center in particular is confronting significant challenges and competitions in the industry.Maintaining its position and further developing affected strongly by the organization’s capacity to satisfy the increasing needs of customers. Therefore, understanding the customers’ perception of service quality and their satisfaction toward the service is a vital mission for the organization to survive. The major objectives of the study are to identify the service quality factors that affects the satisfaction of the participants-the customers of the Flight Training Center, to examine the degree of the influences of the factors and then to suggest some solutions to improve the service quality ofthe organization. Additionally, the satisfaction levels of participantsare also compared using demographics factors such as age, job, education level, workexperience, nationality. The survey was conducted among 350 pilots and flight attendants who had classes at Flight training center from March 1st, 2017 to April 7th, 2017. The answers of 287 out of 350 participants are used to apply quantitativeanalysis.According to the findings, service quality factors perceived by participants include four factors: instructors, the Flight Training Center’s reliability, the Flight Training Center’s participants-focus activities and Flight Training center’s facilities. As well, three out of these four dimensions are identified to have significant impacts on the participants’ satisfactions, which are participants-focus activities, instructors and facilities. Additionally, there are differences in level of satisfaction between pilot and flight attendant and between male and female participants. The study, together with another studies, confirms the appropriateness of the application of SERVPERF model in measuring the service quality and satisfaction in training industry. At the same time, the results of the research support the idea that the dimensions of the service quality may vary among different service sectors (Brady and Cronin 2001; Collins 2005,Van Dyke et al, 1997).

Abstract:
abstract: Romantic relationships are often viewed as an important, meaningful part of a person's life. Most romantic relationships do not last forever. Research regarding romantic relationship satisfaction and quality have thus grown. The purpose of this study was to determine whether individuals who train for endurance events such as running, cycling, or triathlons with their romantic partner have greater relationship satisfaction and quality than do individuals who do not train with their romantic partner. Participants, 54 males and 60 females whose mean age was 33.4, completed a demographic questionnaire, the Quality of Relationships Inventory (QRI), the Perceived Relationship Quality Component (PRQC), the Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS), and the Revised Dyadic Adjustment Scale (RDAS). Of these 114 participants, 52 trained with their romantic partner. A multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) revealed that individuals who trained with their romantic partner reported higher relationship satisfaction and quality compared to those that did not train for an endurance event with their romantic partner. There were no statistically significant differences in relationship satisfaction or relationship quality between men and women or between married individuals and dating individuals. These findings suggest that couples may benefit from engaging in shared activities.

The purpose of this study was to understand the relationship among experience, satisfaction and behavior intention of participators during the package ski tours. This study aimed at package ski tour participants, which used the scale of experience, satisfaction and behavior intention, and questionnaire of demographics as study tool to collect 397 valid data by using purposive sampling from February to March, 2012. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffè post hoc comparison, Person’s correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the data with PASW statistics 18.0 for Windows. The results followed: 1. The percentage of gender participation was close between male (52.7%) and female (47.3%). Most of the participants were not married, aged between 21 to 50 years old, and earned above 40,000 NT dollars per month. They participated mostly over 1 time, joined with their family or friends, and got information of ski tour from word-of-mouth. 2. Among the dimensions of experience, scores of “sense” was the highest and “novelty” was the next. Different participators’ genders, ages, monthly incomes, participating times and accompanying partners showed significant difference on the experience. Different participators’ genders, marital statuses, monthly incomes and countries of tour showed significant difference on the satisfaction. Different participators’ genders, ages, marital statuses and incomes showed significant difference on the behavior intention. 3. Experience, satisfaction, and loyalty and internal response in behavior intention had positive correlation. There was 51% level of prediction in behavior intention by sense experience, feel experience, novelty experience, trip satisfaction, and instructor satisfaction. Suggestions for package ski tour planners are to make more effort to explore high quality ski resorts, to provide an atmosphere of holiday and enjoyment, and let the customers aware the value of their expenditure. Furthermore, the planners should enhance the professional service of instructors, make some differences for different populations during the trip, and create happy memories for participators. Eventually, they should try to broaden the public praise and awareness of ski tourism.

ABSTRACT At present, it is generally recognized in society that TaiChi is based on health care, both of men and women can exercise regardless of their strength. According to our traditional theory, whether physical health depends on the balance (between yin and yang in) the body, Tai Chi practice has the potential to reconcile physical and mental effects. Long-term practice will help calm the mind, maintain good physical fitness, slow aging, and reduce chronic diseases, and other effects. The author once studied with Master Tai Chi. He has been studied for more than eight years. He has more urgent personality and is more prone to dissipate her spirit. After Xi Boxing, her irritable personality has been significantly revised, her spirit is relatively easy to concentrate, and the benefits of other physical and mental health Not to mention it, the author deeply feels that Tai Chi is really helpful to the human body. If it can be popularized to the general public, then will be really great for the country. This study about the participation of Taijiquan learners in addition to health needs, their participation motivation and satisfaction as a reference for future policy development, questionnaires were used to collect sample samples in an intentional manner. The questionnaires were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's differential product correlation analysis. People are aware of the importance of having international perspectives. In order to keep pace with this changing world, more and more youth go abroad to experience different lifestyles and learn various cultures. Participating in working holiday programs has become a popular choice because of its lower costs compared with studying abroad. Participants can earn money to support their daily lives and travel expenses by working. Taiwan has signed agreements for working holiday programs with several countries. The United States and Australia are more popular destinations. The government of Australia issues a “Working Holiday Visa” and the government of the United States provides a “Summer Work Travel” program under its J1 visa. The purpose of this study is to compare the participants’ motivations and satisfaction of the working holiday programs of the United States and Australia. Quantitative and qualitative methods are utilized. Two surveys were administrated and data was collected through online questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The first survey investigated motivations, destination choice and satisfaction with potential outcomes. The findings show the three main motivations of attending working holiday programs are to broaden one’s horizons, have cultural experiences, and improve language skills. The findings also show a difference of motivations between participants of the United States and Australia. Many of the participants of the USA program indicated that they were motivated by language concerns; however, for the participants of the Australian program, many of them chose the item of “to earn money” as one of their main motivations. The second survey investigated the participants’ satisfaction of employment, language, and overall program. The results indicated there are significant differences between the participants of different programs. Overall, the American program participants’ level of satisfaction is higher than the participants of the Australian program. Recreation is turning into a focus of life, since the national lifestyles have been changed by the advancement of technology, economy and national income. Under such circumstances, cycling becomes one of the most popular outdoor activities today. This research shows that happiness does matter to cyclists because the pursuit of happiness is the main drive of recreation demands. This research intends to verify the hypothesis through inspecting the relations among the index of In the Perspective of Need Satisfaction Theory Constructing and Effect of Bike Participants Onto Well-being. In order to understand the coefficient in such relations, a survey targeting the study subjects of bicycle clubs and cycling-lovers in Taitung County has been conducted through the methodology of purposive sampling, with a result of 438 effective samples out of 500. This research then tries to explain the result via ‘Telic or Endpoint Theory’ and ‘Activity Theory’ which come from Need Satisfaction Theory. This research leads to the following three conclusions: (1)‘Leisure Involvement’ affecting ‘Benefit of Leisure’ significantly, (2) ‘Leisure Involvement’ affecting ‘Flow Experience’ positively and, (3)‘Flow Experience’ affecting ‘Well-being’ positively. In addition, according to a discovery in this research, ‘Leisure Involvement’ has no positive effect on ‘Well-being’, but ‘Leisure Involvement’ has indirect effect on ‘Well-being’ through its coefficient with ‘Flow Experience’. That is to say that the intermediary index ‘Flow Experience’ plays an important role in the cycling activity.

Abstract Currently, there are nearly two hundred and fifty thousand people with disabilities have participated in the National Pension Insurance. People with disabilities participating in the National Pension Insurance not only can be guaranteed basic economic security, but also be provided with a risk prevention plan for their economic security in the future as they join the ranks of the elderly. On this account, in order to gain a better understanding of the influences of participating in the National Pension Insurance on the economic arrangements in old age for people with disabilities, this study not only explores the current status of the cognition of rights and satisfaction of people with disabilities who participate in the National Pension Insurance from their angle, but also discusses their economic arrangements and planning in old age. The purposes of this study are as follows: 1. Analyze the personal background of people with disabilities participating in the National Pension Insurance. 2. Analyze the cognition of rights and satisfaction of people with disabilities after participating in the National Pension Insurance. 3. Explore the influences of participating in the National Pension Insurance on the economic arrangements in old age for people with disabilities. 4. Provide the direction of improvement and recommendations for people with disabilities to participate in the National Pension Insurance. In this study, qualitative interviews with ten people with disabilities who have been participating in the National Pension Insurance or have already begun to claim old-age pension benefits were conducted, and the conclusions are listed as follows: 1. The cognition of rights of people with disabilities participating in the National Pension Insurance is still insufficient. 2. Overall, people with disabilities feel satisfied with their participation in the National Pension Insurance. 3. Those people with disabilities who are not clear about the amount of old-age pension they can receive tend to think that participating in the National Pension Insurance has little effect on their economic arrangements in old age. Based on the above conclusions, this study suggests the following recommendations for three aspects, including the overall National Pension Insurance system, the cognition of rights of people with disabilities towards the National Pension Insurance, and the improvement of the satisfaction of people with disabilities participating in the National Pension Insurance: 1. Recommendations for the overall National Pension Insurance system (1) The economic security system for people with disabilities should be developed according to individual needs. (2) Increase the sense of identity of people with disabilities in participating in the National Pension Insurance. (3) Free consulting hotline for the National Pension Insurance should be provided. 2. Recommendations for the cognition of rights of people with disabilities towards the National Pension Insurance (1) Improve the knowledge of people with disabilities about the payments and pay rates of the National Pension Insurance. (2) The channels for the information of the rights and interests under the National Pension Insurance should be more adequate, more diverse, and further expanded. 3. Recommendations for the improvement of the satisfaction of people with disabilities participating in the National Pension Insurance (1) As for the amount of the insurance premium: Improve the preferential system of insurance costs. (2) As for the promotion: Enhance the promotion of the National Pension Insurance to the family members of people with disabilities, related professionals, workers, and related organizations and associations.
