Abstract:
In an environmental and economic point of view, recycling of silicon wafer sludge is important. The aim of this work is to investigate the recycling method of silicon wafer sludge. Therefore, drying rate of silicon wafer sludge has been studied for separation of liquid and solid from sludge. Silicon and silicon carbide powder obtained from silicon wafer sludge were analyzed by SEM, XFR, XRD and particle size analyzer. The recovered oil was also characterized using GC-MS. From this work, it can be seen that the falling drying rate of silicon wafer sludge is linear equation. Various metal compon

Abstract:
The aim of this research was to develop a new eco-product to find a correct recovery of silicate sawing sludge by means of waste management according to European criteria. To reach this goal, a thermal eco-mortar for a macroporous plaster was developed. The main characteristics of a plaster that influence the correct choice of the mortar are good adherence with underlying support, impermeability, thermal and acoustic insulation, mechanical resistance and ability to allow transpiration processes through the wall’s perimeters. Plaster is a mortar composed of a binding part that incorporates sand

Abstract:
Marble has been a prominent natural stone exploited since ancient times, commonly employed as a building material and ornamental stone. However, the disposal of waste generated from marble extraction, particularly fine sludge, poses significant environmental challenges for the dimensional stone industry. The difficulty in managing and recovering these materials, exacerbated by local regulations and the absence of suitable recovery protocols, often leads to landfilling. This issue is exemplified by the Carrara Marble Basin in the Apuan Alps (Tuscany, Italy), where more than half of the extracte
