Abstract:
The monograph presents the research questions of efficiency of functioning of national standardization system of the Russian Federation, which was conducted by the authors in the framework of the analytical work on the order of Minpromtorg of Russia in 2018 (the state contract from April 17, 2018 No. 18401.16Д0190019.10.002) taking into account the actual directions of development of national standardization system of the Russian Federation and additional generalizations. The assessment of the current scenario of the development of the national standardization system of the Russian Federation was carried out using comparable indicators of the national standardization systems of France, Germany, great Britain and the USA. The findings and proposals were based on the results of a survey of civil servants at the Federal and regional levels on approaches to strategic dimensions of standardization. The methodology of forecasting the development of the national standardization system of the Russian Federation includes a scenario approach and a method of constructing dispersion diagrams (bubble diagrams) and sufficiently illustrates the current state of Affairs in the field of standardization at the national level. The developed tools will require additional configuration when changing the current development scenario from "inertial" to "progressive". A number of author's proposals to change the current scenario of development of the national standardization system of the Russian Federation are presented.
It is of interest to a wide range of readers and specialists in the field of public administration, standardization and can be used in the preparation of curricula and manuals for undergraduate, graduate and further education.

Abstract:
The modern economy is characterized by a high level of dynamism of the factors of the external and internal environment of enterprises, influencing the possibility of their stable development.
With the transition of the Russian economy to market methods of doing business, in which enterprise management must take into account various scenarios, risk becomes an integral element of socio-economic relations. Risk is present in all spheres of life, regardless of whether its presence is taken into account in the situation of choosing an alternative method of managing a business entity or not. The presence of risk is a significant factor in the development of business and the economy as a whole. To minimize and neutralize risks, the enterprise must constantly ensure its safety.
In modern conditions, due to the pandemic and economic downturn, enterprises are forced to revise their methods of safety management and risk neutralization.
This monograph, dedicated to modern problems of business security management, is the result of the joint work of teachers and students of the Department of Economic Security, Accounting and Law of the Don State Technical University.

Abstract:
Literary education and language education are connected by a relationship of mutual exchange. On the one hand, without the mastery of appropriate language skills it is impossible to grasp the complexity of literary works. On the other, improving language competence is one of the multiple aims of literary education. Moreover, considering the current multicultural dimension of the Italian school system, teaching literature from an intercultural perspective provides an opportunity to foster the development of relational skills while discussing the meaning of the works. In this scenario, we explore the state of the art of literary education and the teaching of literature in Italy and we consider their implications with language education, intercultural education, and intercultural communication. Furthermore, we present both a model of literary and intercultural communicative competence and a hermeneutic and relational method, also aimed at improving language acquisition and promoting intercultural awareness. In our view, literary and intercultural communicative competence makes it possible to communicate effectively in events where the language is spoken in order to understand literary texts, to identify the original meanings, to discuss their significance from the students’ current perspective, and to formulate critical judgements. The aim of the volume is to offer content and methodological resources for the teaching of literature that can impact positively on the development of language and relational skills. Thus, we draw up some guidelines aimed at increasing students’ motivation for studying the works, fostering their active participation and allowing literature to preserve its educational function.

Fedorovich, Tat'yana, Natal'ya Kubrak, S. K. Tevs, and A. V. Dmitrenko. Organization and management of a private fleet of freight cars: an economic approach. INFRA-M Academic Publishing LLC., 2022. http://dx.doi.org/10.12737/1860935.

Full text
Abstract:
The monograph discusses theoretical and practical issues related to the completion of the implementation of the introduction of new forms of ownership in the formation of the railway holding JSC "Russian Railways". The organizational and economic results of the structural reform of railway transport in Russia are analyzed in comparison with the experience of modern reform of foreign railway transport. The variants of transformation of the modern cargo transportation management system in the new economic conditions are proposed.
The main results of the study of modern economic and organizational conditions of cargo transportation, taking into account the specifics of working with a private car fleet, are presented. Based on a large-scale analysis of the loading dynamics of the main directions of the Russian Railways network and the resulting unevenness of operational work, new approaches are proposed for the formation of the market of freight operators of rolling stock.
An economic assessment of the implementation of scenario options for the introduction of technological outsourcing is given on the example of JSC "Federal Freight Company" with the justification of a methodological approach for the formation of a consolidated fleet of wagons based
on the algorithm of the cost method for calculating the throughput during the consolidation of a fleet of freight wagons.
For practitioners and researchers involved in cargo transportation management, forecasting and formation of private fleets of freight cars. It will be useful for graduate students, undergraduates and students of economic faculties of railway universities when studying courses in the economics of railway transport and the cost of freight transportation.

Abstract:
This book represents a contribution to the elaboration of language teaching methods. It comprises a collection of the addresses made on the first two study days on the teaching of European languages (Florence 2002-2003) attended by teachers working in Italian universities, and also in higher educational institutes both public and private. From the comparison of different experiences and cultures there emerged a very dynamic scenario, open to new scientific and methodological stimuli. Among the issues addressed are the use of the new technologies in teaching, the implications of the expansion of the European Union, and the use of a foreign language for the teaching of non-linguistic disciplines.

Full text
Abstract:
The scenario of heavy-ion reactions around the Fermi energy is explored. The quantum BUU equation is solved numerically with and without nonlocal corrections and the effect of nonlocal corrections on experimental values is calculated. A practical recipe is presented which allows reproducing the correct asymptotes of scattering by acting on the point of closest approach. The better description of dynamical correlations by the nonlocal kinetic equation is demonstrated by an enhancement of the high-energy part of the particle spectra and the enhancement of mid-rapidity charge distributions. The time-resolved solution shows the enhancement of neck formation. It is shown that the dissipated energy increases due to the nonlocal collision scenario which is responsible for the observed effects and not due to the enhancement of collisions. As final result, a method is presented how to incorporate the effective mass and quasiparticle renormalisation with the help of the nonlocal simulation scenario.

Abstract:
Haemodialysis was the first method available to treat patients with kidney failure and remains an important treatment for critically-ill patients with acute kidney injury. Recent studies have shown that intermittent haemodialysis, sustained low-efficiency dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapies provide similar outcomes for intensive care unit patients. Haemodialysis techniques offer several advantages—informed decisions regarding choice of mode require consideration of the operational characteristics of each method with its advantages and limitations. The choice of modality should be driven by patient characteristics and clinical scenario, ensuring that an adequate delivered dose of dialysis is achieved and there is good haemodynamic tolerance to minimize further insults to the kidney and other organs. This chapter reviews the current concepts and controversies in haemodialysis methods for renal support in the ICU.

Full text
Abstract:
Basic concepts and definitions of radiative transfer modeling are introduced. The applicability of single scattering to aerosol retrievals is demonstrated. A two-stream formulation of radiative transfer is introduced. The two streams, upwelling and downwelling radiation, are selected to angularly represent average atmospheric properties: Relatively simple, two-stream calculations form the basis for much practical calculation, particularly of hemispherical fluxes in stratified atmospheres. Following this development, the most usual method for replacing the general integrodifferential equations obtained when setting up a scattering scenario by a system of linear equations is demonstrated.
