Abstract:

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients need to meet with their Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approximately every four months. In-between these scheduled visits, patients may contact the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) via phone to express any health-related concerns. This often requires a phone evaluation before organizing an unscheduled appointment. Due to the sporadic nature of these phone calls, resources and time are often heavily affected. While not recommended for routine use due to lack of evidence on burden in the general population, in 2015 WHO recommended the vaccine be considered in outbreaks.
