Abstract:
V rámci kritiky tohto pragmatického prístupu si v závere ukážeme, ako do schémy Alexyho argumentu v prospech objektívnej existencie ľudských práv zapadá Kelsenov pragmatický postoj k demokracii.

Abstract:
Prvé dve časti príspevku načrtávajú teoretický rámec a opisujú koncept validity a reliability. Nasledujúce časti vysvetľujú proces analýzy a uvádzajú jej výsledky. Z časopisu The Journal of Educational Research bolo náhodným spôsobom vybratých 56 štúdií. Veľká väčšina (91 %) výskumných nástrojov v nich boli posudzovacie škály a testy, zvyšok boli dotazníky, pozorovacie schémy a interview.

The Toucans turbulence scheme is a turbulence scheme that is used in the operational Alaro configuration of the Aladin model since early 2015. Its development was initiated, guided and to a large extend authored by Jean-François Geleyn. The development started with the predecessor of the Toucans scheme, the "pseudo-prognostic" turbulent kinetic energy scheme which itself was built on the "Louis" turbulence scheme, but extended to a prognostic scheme. The Toucans scheme aims for a consistent treatment of stability dependency functions, influence of moisture, and turbulence length scales. Additionally, new features were added to the turbulence scheme: improved representation of turbulence in very stable stratification (absence of critical gradient Richardson number), better representation of anisotropy, unified parameterization of turbulence and clouds via addition of second prognostic turbulence energy, and parameterization of third order moments.

Abstract:
What resources does Merleau-Ponty’s account of the body schema offer to the Fanonian one? First I show that Merleau-Ponty’s theory of the body schema is already a theory of affect: one that does not oppose affects to intentionality, positioning them not only as sense but as force, cultivating affective agencies rather than constituting static sense content. Then I argue that by foregrounding the role of affect in both thinkers, we can understand the way in which the historical-racial schema innovates, anticipating and influencing feminist theories of the affective turn – especially Sara Ahmed’s theory of affective economies. The historical-racial schema posits the constitution of affective agencies on a sociogenic scale, and these affective economies in turn account for the possibility of the collapse of the body schema into a racial epidermal schema, a disjunction of affective intentionality Fanon calls “affective tetanization.”

Abstract:
To manipulate semantic web and integrate different data sources efficiently, automatic schema matching plays a key role. A generic schema matching method generally includes two phases: the linguistic similarity matching phase and the structural similarity matching phase. Since linguistic matching is an essential step for effective schema matching, developing a high accurate linguistic similarity matching scheme is required. In this paper, a schema matching approach called Similarity Yield Matcher (SYM) is proposed. In SYM, a lexical decision tree is presented to determine the linguistic similarity matching of the first phase. A structural matching algorithm is then proposed to find the structure similarity between two tree schemas. The proposed schema matching approach was evaluated by testing on several benchmarks of real schemas and comparing with other methods. The experimental results show that the proposed lexical decision tree substantially improves the linguistic similarity matching effectively and efficiently. The proposed SYM algorithm also performs high effectiveness on 1–1 schema matching.

The paper summarizes the activities of Jean-François Geleyn leading to a state-of-the-art radiation scheme tailored for numerical weather prediction. The main goal - dealing with cloud-radiation interactions - was reached thanks to significant improvements to the broadband approach allowing for single shortwave and single longwave intervals, opening a way to selective intermittency. The resulting scheme offers an alternative competitive to the mainstream approach that uses very accurate but expensive correlated k-distribution method, not allowing for timely update of cloud radiative effects.

Abstract:
Data integration is an important step in integrating information from multiple sources. The problem is how to find and combine data from scattered data sources that are heterogeneous and have semantically informant interconnections optimally. The heterogeneity of data sources is the result of a number of factors, including storing databases in different formats, using different software and hardware for database storage systems, designing in different data semantic models (Katsis & Papakonstantiou, 2009, Ziegler & Dittrich , 2004). Nowadays there are two approaches in doing data integration that is Global as View (GAV) and Local as View (LAV), but both have different advantages and limitations so that proper analysis is needed in its application. Some of the major factors to be considered in making efficient and effective data integration of heterogeneous data sources are the understanding of the type and structure of the source data (source schema). Another factor to consider is also the view type of integration result (target schema). The results of the integration can be displayed into one type of global view or a variety of other views. So in integrating data whose source is structured the approach will be different from the integration of the data if the data source is not structured or semi-structured. Scheme mapping is a specific declaration that describes the relationship between the source scheme and the target scheme. In the scheme mapping is expressed in in some logical formulas that can help applications in data interoperability, data exchange and data integration. In this paper, in the case of establishing a patient referral center data center, it requires integration of data whose source is derived from a number of different health facilities, it is necessary to design a schema mapping system (to support optimization). Data Center as the target orientation schema (target schema) from various reference service units as a source schema (source schema) has the characterization and nature of data that is structured and independence. So that the source of data can be integrated tersetruktur of the data source into an integrated view (as a data center) with an equivalent query rewriting (equivalent). The data center as a global schema serves as a schema target requires a "mediator" that serves "guides" to maintain global schemes and map (mapping) between global and local schemes. Data center as from Global As View (GAV) here tends to be single and unified view so to be effective in its integration process with various sources of schema which is needed integration facilities "integration". The "Pemadu" facility is a declarative mapping language that allows to specifically link each of the various schema sources to the data center. So that type of query rewriting equivalent is suitable to be applied in the context of query optimization and maintenance of physical data independence. Keywords: Global as View (GAV), Local as View (LAV), source schema ,mapping schema

The Isba surface scheme was designed to represent as simply as possible complex interaction process between the soil, the vegetation and the atmosphere. The methodological choices adopted to construct it were guided by its future implementation in mesoscale, weather and climate models. Its initial development was greatly facilitated by the availability of observational data from the Hapex-Mobilhy field, enabling the methodological choices to be validated and some parameters of the scheme to be adjusted. This development approach, based on field campaign data, was maintained later.

Abstract According to the argument scheme approach, to evaluate a given scheme-saturating instance completely does entail asking all critical questions (CQs) relevant to it. Although this is a central task for argumentation theorists, the field currently lacks a method for providing a complete argument evaluation. Approaching this task at the meta-level, we combine a logical with a substantive approach to the argument schemes by starting from Toulmin’s schema: ‘data, warrant, so claim’. For the yet more general schema: ‘premise(s); if premise(s), then conclusion; so conclusion’, we forward a meta-level CQ-list that is arguably both complete and applicable. This list should inform ongoing theoretical efforts at generating appropriate object-level CQs for specific argument schemes.

Abstract:
AbstractThe title of “Schema Games” is certainly insinuated by Wittgenstein’s later philosophy of “Language Games” as a social practice and “life forms” and “Gepflogenheiten” (usages), social practices, action forms and mores and institutions. However, in this article Wittgenstein’s conception is extended to forms of not only language usages and actions but also any form of modeling, structuring and scheme activation in cognition and action as well as subconscious, even neuro-physiologically activated networking and modeling processes. Schemes, schematization and scheme activations as well as reactivations are decisive for any stabilization of meanings, opinions, mental episodes as well as actions, social or individual. There is no cognition or action or thinking and speaking without the activation and reactivation of schemes on different levels.Wittgenstein’s approach of a pragmatic and social practice of language games and life forms based on common and repeated usages of special cases of scheme activations and processes of interpretative constructions (interpretative constructs) may also methodologically be analyzed on different levels, even subconscious ones, to grasp or to constitute cognitive and action-like activities. Active formation and usages play a fundamental and pragmatic role, not only according to Kant under his categories but after Wittgenstein and the present methodological approach in a more flexible way - somewhat like Wittgenstein’s “language games” approach. Not only socially based speech forms and actions as well as “life forms” are dependent on active pragmatic scheme interpretations, but also already many basic processes of representing, cognizing, acting, mustering and modeling, even on subconscious neuronal levels. Any cognition and action whatsoever is scheme-dependent, produced by scheme-interpretative activity on user-oriented and a socio-pragmatic, or even institutionalized basis. Not only do language games rely on scheme activations, but they are, methodologically speaking, special cases of these forms of activation. Thus, the parallelism between “language games” and life forms in Wittgenstein’s sense and “schema games” on the basis of methodological scheme-interpretationism seems to be well-founded.

Abstract:
Abstract: The new AMS dates published from South-Eastern Europe’s Early Copper Age (e.g. from the Varna cemetery and from Tiszapolgár culture sites like Vésztő-Bikeri, Körösladány-Bikeri, Hajdúböszörmény-Ficsori-tó-Dűlő or Uivar) seem to change the existing classical chronological scheme. The validity of this scheme can be checked using correspondence analysis (CA). The obtained results show a tripartite evolution of the Tiszapolgár culture from the chronological point of view. The estimated time span (based on a Bayesian model of the existing AMS data, including new ones from Gorzsa) for this archaeological culture is between c. 4600–4200 cal BC, beginning more or less two hundred years earlier than was previously thought.

Abstract:

Abstract:
In this paper, the authors have proposed a new prediction-based location management scheme for cellular networks. The current mobile switching centre predicts the previous mobile switching center of user, and then imports the data about the mobile terminal from that. For this purpose it uses a prediction table, which is based on the neighboring location areas. The analytical model and formulation presents the conceptual schema of proposed scheme. The performance comparisons and numerical analysis is helpful to find out the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed system, with respect to existing location management techniques. It has been observed that, the registration cost, and the network overhead at mobile switching center have been reduced in the proposed prediction-based scheme.

Abstract:
AbstractSchemata have played important roles in logic since Aristotle's Prior Analytics. The syllogistic figures and moods can be taken to be argument schemata as can the rules of the Stoic propositional logic. Sentence schemata have been used in axiomatizations of logic only since the landmark 1927 von Neumann paper [31]. Modern philosophers know the role of schemata in explications of the semantic conception of truth through Tarski's 1933 Convention T [42]. Mathematical logicians recognize the role of schemata in first-order number theory where Peano's second-order Induction Axiom is approximated by Herbrand's Induction-Axiom Schema [23]. Similarly, in first-order set theory, Zermelo's second-order Separation Axiom is approximated by Fraenkel's first-order Separation Schema [17]. In some of several closely related senses, a schema is a complex system having multiple components one of which is a template-text or scheme-template, a syntactic string composed of one or more “blanks” and also possibly significant words and/or symbols. In accordance with a side condition the template-text of a schema is used as a “template” to specify a multitude, often infinite, of linguistic expressions such as phrases, sentences, or argument-texts, called instances of the schema. The side condition is a second component. The collection of instances may but need not be regarded as a third component. The instances are almost always considered to come from a previously identified language (whether formal or natural), which is often considered to be another component. This article reviews the often-conflicting uses of the expressions ‘schema’ and ‘scheme’ in the literature of logic. It discusses the different definitions presupposed by those uses. And it examines the ontological and epistemic presuppositions circumvented or mooted by the use of schemata, as well as the ontological and epistemic presuppositions engendered by their use. In short, this paper is an introduction to the history and philosophy of schemata.

Abstract:
Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANET) is the decentralized type of network and it does not rely on pre-existing infrastructure. All nodes work as routers and take path in discovery and maintenance of routes to other nodes in the network. The Energy Efficiency continues to be a key factor in limitingthe deploy ability of ad-hoc networks. Deployingan energy efficient system exploiting themaximum life time of the network has remained agreat challenge since years. The major concern inWireless network in recent days is Energy Consumption. There are numerous algorithms proposed to overcome this issue. In this paper proposed a new intrusion detection system is Enhanced Adaptive 3 Acknowledgement (EA3ACK) using Energy Efficiency Dynamic State (EEDS) algorithm. This algorithmis designed to increase the network lifetime and remaining energy bycontinuously monitoring the individual nodes inthe network, thereby it increases the quality ofservice of the network. Network Simulator (NS2) is used to implement & test our proposed system. The proposed EEDS- EA3ACK algorithm provides secure transmission & further it improves network performance.

Abstract:
The paper is devoted to construction and development of new method for numerical solution of hyperbolic type equations [14, 17]. In the previous papers [4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9] authors have investigated theoretically and tested experimentally 26 different finite‐difference schemes on 4 point patterns for the simplest hyperbolic equation: linear advection equation. This equation has the main features of every hyperbolic equation and is the important part of many mathematical models. In other cases the advection operator is the important part of the full operator of the problem. All 26 schemes have been compared experimentally on the special representative set of tests. Nevertheless to simplicity of the equation, almost all schemes have different disadvantages. They are discussed in detail in the cited papers. So, the investigation of new schemes for this equation is still an important task. In [4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9] some new schemes were constructed for solving this advection equation. The nonlinear monotone Babenko scheme ("square") proved to be the best among all 26 schemes. So, it is a big interest to generalize this scheme to more difficult equations. The important example is a quasi‐linear advection equation. In this paper our basic aim is to construct a quasi‐monotone nonlinear Babenko scheme for solving the quasi‐linear advection equation and to test it experimentally. The monotonisation of the scheme is done by adding the artificial diffusion with limiters. We also present advanced results of comparative analysis of the new scheme with other known schemes. We have considered explicit and implicit upwind approximation schemes [4, 6, 13, 16] which is firstorder accurate in time and space, the Lax‐Wendroff scheme [4] which is the first order accurate in time and second order accurate in space. We also analyze the monotonised “Cabaret” scheme proposed in [10, 11]. It is second order accurate in time and space, and its monotonisation is based on apriori knowledge of the dependence region of the exact solution. The authors of this scheme called it by “jumping advection”. The considered schemes are compared numerically by using a set of tests, which is similar to one used in [4, 5, 6, 8]. Šiame straipsnyje pasiūlyta kvazi‐monotonie netiesine Babenkos skirtumu schema kvazitiesinei pernešimo lygčiai spresti. Schemos monotoniškumas pasiekiamas pridedant dirbtine difuzija su apribojimais.

Abstract:
Hawaii Creole English presents a particular type of utterance structure, the "dollar utterance," which might be regarded as ill-formed in terms of the form-meaning coalition in Standard English (SE). Nonetheless, such an utterance seems to reflect an underlying discourse process in which three discourse representations — Theme, Scheme, Rheme — interact. An analysis is given within the framework of Schema theory to explain this unique linguistic phenomenon in Hawaii Creole English. The scheme, which is the most important entity of the three, resides either in the preceding text or in the abstract knowledge structure of human cognition. It is further claimed that the formation of Theme, Scheme, Rheme could have been transferred from Japanese as one of its substratum features in discourse. The probability of Japanese substratal influence is highly supportable from both linguistic and sociohistorical evidence.

Abstract:
Along with globalization of the construction market, international construction firms often choose to cooperate with local construction firms in the form of Joint Ventures (JV) when they enter into the domestic markets of different countries. In this way, they cannot only reduce investment risks, but also enhance production efficiency, reduce costs and generate more profits. The conventional method of profit-sharing between JV firms is based on ratio of investment. However, as the firms make different contributions to the project, the rationality of such a profit-sharing method is often doubtful and thus is difficult to maintain a stable cooperative relationship for a JV team. Based on the concept of the cooperative game theory, this paper proposes a contribution-based profit-sharing model using Shapley Value. A case study is used to describe how firms can use this model to reach decisions of participation, and determine a fair profit-sharing rule after cooperation to enhance mutual trust and create the advantages of cooperation.

Abstract:
Security is a major challenge in modern IoT based healthcare monitoring systems. It provides many benefits such as critical patient monitoring, remote diagnosis at anytime, anywhere. Hence, security of this data is essential when the healthcare professionals access it. Also, while storing the patients record; it must be kept safe from misuse and modification of data as other devices can easily track it. To prevent this type of threats, we have proposed a mutual authentication protocol to enhance health care security and to resist vulnerable attacks. The proposed scheme used Challenge response protocol for the authentication purpose and the Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol is used for generation of the session key generation. The security analysis of the proposed scheme shows that the scheme is more secure and resist all the major attacks as compared to other schemes. The Formal verification of this schema also ensures that it resists most probable attacks in this system. The result of the proposed authentication scheme shows that it has low computational and communicational load.
