Abstract:
The application of Augmented Reality in the education sector has increased, the novelty of Augmented Reality technology has become a special attraction for stake holders to improve the quality of education. However, so far there is still a lack of literature studies that focus on investigating the application of Augmented Reality to students at the basic education level. This study presents a literature review on the use of Augmented Reality technology to students at the basic education level. Articles that were synthesized from 2010 to 2020 indexed by Google Schoolar were 10 articles. Using qualitative content analysis, this study attempts to answer two questions; (1) What is the impact of the application of Augmented Reality on the learning outcomes of Elementary School Students? and (2) how does the Pedagogic Perspective view Augmented Reality?

AimThe aim of our work was to study the types of power preferred by teachers and students of pedagogical specialties.MethodIvanov’s questionnaire “Teacher’s pedagogical power” was used to study the pedagogical power including Reward, Coercive, Legitimate, Expert and Referent powers. In 2012 and 2013, 46 secondary school teachers and 40 students of pedagogical specialties were part of a study in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria.ResultsThe results indicated that teachers and students of pedagogical specialties preferred making use syncretic power, more than one power. The most frequent types of power were Legitimate and Reward. The rarest was Referent power. The teachers used the different types of power less than students of pedagogical specialties did, confirming Adler’s view that humans striving for power over others was inversely proportional to the degree of education. Female teachers preferred to use Legitimate power more compared to male teachers.ConclusionsThe study of teachers’ pedagogical power could contribute to clarify teachers and students’ views of the teacher’s role in schoolar education. The studied teachers and students of pedagogical specialties perceived the teacher mainly as a regulating (rewarding or coercive) legitimate figure of pedagogical power.

Abstract:
Filariasis is one of four diseases that are very important to note, especially in the tropics and subtropics, considering the impact of this disease is the existence of social stigma, decreased productivity and quality of life both psychologically, economically and socially. This study used a literature review approach from several databases, namely Pubmed, Proquest, Science Direct, Google Schoolar and other secondary searches. In total, this review literature consisted of 7 non-experimental journals (observations / surveys) that assess the knowledge, attitudes and prevention practices of filariasis; 6 journal reports on knowledge, 5 journals reported on attitudes and 5 journals discussing prevention practices, where the key to success of the government program (GPELF) was the compliance of the community itself. As for being obedient, people need good knowledge, attitudes and preventive practices about filariasis. The results of this review literature show that there was still a lack of knowledge, attitudes and practices of community prevention, so that a more appropriate education and health information program is needed. Abstract:
Abstract. This narrative review tries to investigate whether exists gender stereotypes in Physical Education (PE), both at Primary School (PS) and Secondary School (SS) levels. A compilation and analysis of 33 studies found in five databases have been reviewed (SPORTDISCUS, SCIELO, DIALNET, REDALYC and GOOGLE SCHOLAR). The majority of the reviewed evidence is from the Spanish context, although our review is also integrated some international references. Therefore, possible sources of transmission of stereotypes in this field were identified and analyzed, by establishing categories. The state of the art showed the existence of inequalities and discrimination towards girls in PE sessions, therefore, the need to promote the training in coeducational matters, mainly of physical education teachers, is more than warranted. Collectively, an intervention using specific pedagogical models would remain as a main future perspective to treat gender inequalities or stereotypes in PE lessons.

Abstract:
Background UNICEF and WHO estimate that if all babies were breastfed for at least the first six months of their lives, morbidity and malnutrition rates would significantly decrease worldwide. both of these organizations promote the policy of initiating early breastfeeding by campaigning for a baby-friendly hospital policy, one of which encourages early breastfeeding initiation to be carried out. The aim of our study is to review the available evidence regarding the positive effects of early breastfeeding initiation on the success of exclusive breastfeeding, to suggest the most appropriate strategy to support it.Research Methods The research taken was research published in 2000-2019, obtained through major databases such as PubMed, Google Schoolar, and then examined to obtain original documents. Research searches related to the effectiveness of early initiation initiation (IMD) and the factors that influence it use the main terms "early initiation of breastfeeding", "effectivity" and "determinants of". A total of 31 literature conclusions and results of research in making this review. The 31 selected literatures have met the specified inclusion criteria. The Result Giving breastfeeding initiation is best done no later than 1 hour postpartum. IMD (initiation of early breastfeeding) is effective in stimulating milk production, producing antibody protection, reducing postpartum maternal bleeding, and in the long term affecting the duration of breastfeeding. IMD has also been studied as having the effect of reducing neonatal mortality by preventing morbidity such as diarrhea, pneumonia, UTI, meningitis and neonatal sepsis. Factors that influence the success of IMD include geographical, socioeconomic, individual health, education and maternal knowledge about IMD, duration of labor, maternal employment, hospital policy, support from health workers, labor delivery, gestational age, and maternal health conditions. Conclusions Breastfeeding initiation has been extensively studied increasing the success of exclusive breastfeeding and contributing to the reduction in infant mortality caused by infection. However, the success rate of breastfeeding initiation in several developing countries in the world still varies. Many factors influence the success of breastfeeding initiation, which still need to involve health promotion, because the implementation of breastfeeding initiation needs to involve many parties, in addition to the general public as well as to health workers who are tasked with helping in the maternity unit.

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to explore the correlates of parental mediation of pre-schoolers’ television advertising exposure, focusing on the influence of other siblings in the home. Design/methodology/approach Participants included 486 parents of pre-schoolers. A cross-sectional design involving a quantitative online survey measured the number and age of children in the home, parents’ mediation styles and advertising attitudes, parents’ levels of education and pre-schoolers’ television exposure. Findings Co-viewing was the most frequent viewing experience followed by instructive and restrictive mediation. A univariate analysis revealed that parental education and negative attitudes towards advertising were associated with less viewing time for pre-schoolers, although the presence of other siblings mediated this relationship. Logistic regression revealed mediation styles were associated with parental education, attitudes towards advertising, viewing time and the presence of other siblings. Pre-schoolers with an older sibling were less likely to experience co-viewing and more likely to experience instructive mediation. Research limitations/implications The findings revealed that parents of pre-schoolers are concerned about advertising to children and actively mediate their child’s exposure. Parental attitudes and education, and sibling composition influence pre-schoolers’ television consumption, and pre-schoolers with an older sibling might be most vulnerable to negative media effects. The sample was limited to primarily higher educated parents and might not generalize. Originality/value The study extends the field by focusing on pre-schoolers and provides novel insights into the influence of sibling composition on television consumption.

Abstract:
In a longitudinal study, various aspects of the pre-schooler and his/her environment were assessed to delineate those factors most predictive of behavioural adjustment at 3-4 years of age, and again 12 months later. Factor analysis and a series of backwards stepwise multiple regression analyses facilitated the selection of variables to be included in a causal model that assessed predictors of behavioural adjustment in 3-4 and 4-5-year olds. A "stress resilience" model of temperamental influence on behavioural functioning was used in the construction of the causal model. Path analysis suggested that temperamental characteristics were most strongly causally related to children's overall behavioural adjustment, and could protect children from the effects of maladjustment in the parental subsystem. According to the path model, the direct effect of parental maladjustment on pre-schoolers' behavioural adjustment was outweighed by its indirect effects, particularly at follow-up. The potential contaminating influence of parental maladjustment on their perceptions of children's temperament and behaviour, as well as the content and construct overlap between temperament and behavioural measures, was considered.

Abstract:
Home schooling is a subject of great fascination, but little solid knowledge. Despite its importance, it has received less research attention than some other recent changes in the educational system, such as the growth of charter schools. It could be argued that home schooling may have a much larger impact on educational system, both in the short and long run. This report uses the 1994 October CPS, and the National Household Education Survey of 1996 and 1999 to examine popular characterizations of the home school population. The article assembles evidence from several sources to confirm that home schooling is growing. It finds home-schooled children more likely to be middle income, white, from larger families, and from two-parent families with one parent not working. While some authors have described a division between religiously-motivated and academically-motivated home schoolers, this research finds more support for a divide based on attitude towards regular schools.

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to design and develop a teaching and learning module using Problem-Based Learning and Cooperative Learning (PBL-CL) and evaluate its effects on scientific creativity of pre-schoolers. The module was developed using the ADDIE instructional design model which included five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Formative evaluation was conducted to determine the reliability, content validity, pedagogical usability and pre-schoolers’ acceptability of the module, which involved five subject matter experts, 10 pre-school teachers, and 30 six-year-old pre-schoolers. The results of formative evaluation indicated an acceptable reliability, good content validity, high acceptability among the pre-schoolers, and high level of pedagogical usability. Finally, a pre- and post-test non-equivalent control group quasi experiment design was employed to determine the effects of the PBL-CL module. A total of 144 six-year-old pre-schoolers from three pre-schools were randomly assigned to PBL-CL group (n=72) and control group (n=72). The finding of Paired Sample T-test and Independent T-test established the effects of the PBL-CL module and would therefore represent a reliable, credible, and effective teaching and learning module for fostering scientific creativity among pre-schoolers. Keywords: ADDIE model, cooperative learning, teaching and learning module, pre-schoolers, problem-based learning, scientific creativity.

Abstract:
The article discusses the features of the manifestation of volitional qualities in high school students when performing tasks in the form of test exercises of a different nature. Based on the analysis of scientific and research work on the formation and development of volitional qualities, studies of the mid-education school, studies have been conducted by studies to identify the level of evidence in the performance of test exercises in the lessons of physical education. As test exercises, the researcher took and carried out: holding a dumbbell in front of him (for a while) with an outstretched arm (static mode of operation), work with a dumbbell for biceps with a strong arm for the number of times (dynamic mode of operation), breath holding test (for time). Tables of measurements of volitional component indices were compiled for students with different levels of motor activity (LMA) when performing tasks of a different nature. Indicators of the level of manifestation of volitional qualities of senior pupils in the experiment were assessed by the method of E.P. Shcherbakov.

Abstract:
This article explores the role of formal education and specific legal knowledge in the process of legal mobilization. Using survey data and in-depth case narratives of workplace disputes in China, we highlight three major findings. First, and uncontroversially, higher levels of formal education are associated with greater propensity to use legal institutions and to find them more effective. Second, informally acquired labor law knowledge can substitute for formal education in bringing people to the legal system and improving their legal experiences. The Chinese state's propagation of legal knowledge has had positive effects on citizens' legal mobilization. Finally, while education and legal knowledge are factors that push people toward the legal system, actual dispute experience leads people away from it, especially among disputants without effective legal representation. The article concludes that the Chinese state's encouragement of individualized legal mobilization produces contradictory outcomes—encouraging citizens to use formal legal institutions, imbuing them with new knowledge and rights awareness, but also breeding disdain for the law in practice.
