Zusammenfassung. Mit dem Sportbezogenen Leistungsmotivationstest SMT ( Frintrup & Schuler, 2007 ) wurde ein sportpsychologisches Motivationsverfahren entwickelt, das sich in seinem Konstrukt auf den Leistungsmotivationsansatz von Schuler bezieht ( Schuler 1998 ; Schuler & Prochaska, 2000 ; Schuler, Thornton, Frintrup & Mueller-Hanson, 2004 ). Der SMT erwies sich in früheren Untersuchungen als messgenaues Instrument, das ein im hohen Maße zeitstabiles Konstrukt erfasst. Der Vergleich mit zwei weiteren sportbezogenen Messverfahren, der Achievement Motives Scale-Sport (AMS-Sport; Elbe, 2002 ) und des Sport Orientation Questionnaire (SOQ; Gill & Deeter, 1988 , übersetzt von Elbe, 2004 ), zeigte die erwarteten Korrelationsmuster. Dies gilt ebenso für die breitere kontextuelle Einordnung mit Hilfe des Fünf-Faktoren-Modells der Persönlichkeit. An der überwiegenden Mehrzahl der Teilnehmer dreier unterschiedlicher Stichproben, insgesamt N = 5276 Personen, konnten zusätzlich sportbezogene Kriterien erhoben werden, die frühere Validierungsergebnisse bestätigten. Die erstmalige Untersuchung der Zusammenhänge des SMT mit Leistungsdaten in einzelnen Sportarten stützte die Erwartung, dass es sich bei diesem Verfahren um ein nützliches Instrument in der sportbezogenen Diagnostik handelt. Dies konnte durch die Betrachtung der inkrementellen Validität zu den Verfahren AMS-Sport und SOQ-d bekräftigt werden. Der SMT als neuartiges Verfahren, das die enge Interpretation der sportlichen Leistungsmotivation verlässt, erfasst zusätzlich relevante Informationen bezüglich der Leistung, des Engagements und des Erfolgs im Sportbereich.

Das Einstellungsinterview und die Analyse von Bewerbungsunterlagen bestätigen sich als verbreitetste Auswahlverfahren, der Einsatz graphologischer Gutachten ist in den letzten Jahren auf ein Minimum zurückgegangen. Verstärkte Verwendung finden vor allem strukturierte Interviews und Assessment Center. Die Nutzung von Online-Verfahren ist mit Ausnahme der Online-Bewerbungsunterlagen noch nicht sehr verbreitet. Es werden detaillierte Betrachtungen der Verwendung von Personalauswahlverfahren für die einzelnen Bewerbergruppen angestellt. Abstract Far from deemphasizing Jesus’ Jewishness, as theologians in Nazi Germany regularly did, Dietrich Schuler claims that the New Testament’s message was and continues to be detrimental for “Aryans”. In fact, he finds it far more problematic than the Old Testament. His solution is to invent a new religion. I shall thus delve into Dietrich Schuler’s literature that permeated the German neo-Nazi movement during the first decade of the 21st century. Moreover, this article attempts to answer the question why Schuler was unsuccessful in turning his secular disciples into actual believers. I will use and build on a framework put forth by the American sociologist Rodney Stark. I shall also refer to religious sociologist Martin Riesebrodt and his theory of religion.

We conducted a meta-analysis of correlations between role ambiguity and job performance and role conflict and job performance. Previous meta-analyses of these role constructs and performance relationships (e.g., Jackson & Schuler, 1985) were limited by small sample sizes and sparse reporting of reliability estimates in primary studies. The present study used a comprehensive database with a larger sample size and a distribution of interrater reliabilities to extend the previous findings. We also tested moderator hypotheses proposed but not conducted by Jackson and Schuler. Results revealed a negative relationship (r52.21) between role ambiguity and job performance with moderating influences due to job type and rating source. A negligible relationship (r52.07) was observed for role conflict and job performance, a finding consistent across job types and rating sources. Conclusions were that role ambiguity ought not to be dismissed as an unimportant variable in the job performance domain.

Algorithms of a strapdown inertial orientation system with an inertial measurement module consisting of a three-component gyroscope, accelerometer, and magnetometer are considered. The aim of the work is to improve the algorithms for processing sensor information to ensure the asymptotic stability of the system, tuning for the Schuler period and the low-pass filter with a given bandwidth. The kinematic Poisson equations with positional and integral-positional correction based on the information of accelerometers and magnetometers are considered. The stability and frequency characteristics of the system in relation to the sensor output signals are analyzed. It is shown that the positional correction in each channel does not allow you to adjust the system for the Schuler period. The integral-positional correction allows this adjustment, but in relation to the gyroscope signals, the system is a bandpass filter and does not suppress noise in the bandwidth. The advantages of using positional correction with cross-links in the sense of tuning the frequency characteristics of the system to the Sharper frequency and the third-order low-pass filter are shown. The analysis of the influence of angular velocities confirmed the asymptotic stability of the system with their changes in a given range. The results of mathematical modeling confirmed the compensation of errors in the initial orientation system display, the reduction of noise power in the estimates of the orientation angles in relation to the noise in the sensor signals, and the ability to configure the system for the Schuler period.

For close to a century, experiments using artificial languages (hereafter ALs) have been a staple of psycholinguistic research (Esper, 1925). Contemporary AL research has spanned numerous levels of linguistic inquiry, from phonetic learning through syntax (see Culbertson & Schuler, 2019). This approach has also been successfully applied across development, from infants and children (see Saffran & Kirkham, 2018) through older adults (e.g., Schwab, Schuler, Stillman, Newport, Howard & Howard, 2016), even spanning cross-species comparisons (e.g., Wilson, Slater, Kikuchi, Milne, Marslen-Wilson, Smith & Petkov, 2013). Given the proliferation of AL methods for investigating issues related to first language acquisition, it is not surprising that research on bilingualism has also embraced this approach. This special themed section comprises four concise review articles describing how AL research has informed questions related to bilingualism and second language learning. The articles also discuss the strengths and limitations of this approach, as well as pointing to future directions for the field.

O autor apresenta esses conhecimentos matemáticos de forma teórica, por meio de definições e de exemplos, sem propor a resolução de exercícios. Abstract Busulphan (Bu) is used in high dose conditioning regimen prior to stem cell transplantation. Bu has a narrow therapeutic window and over- and under-dosing may have a fatal outcome. Bu pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics were extensively studied and wide inter- and intra-individual variation was found. Several limited sampling models (LSM) have been developed for Bu administered orally to simplify therapeutic drug monitoring and consequently dose adjustment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the existing LSM in adults and children undergoing conditioning regimen before SCT. Seventy-four patients (62 adults and 12 children) with malignant and non-malignant diseases were analysed. Plasma was sampled at 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 hours after the first dose of Bu. Bu was determined using gas chromatography with electron capture detection. The area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) for time interval 0 to 6 hours was determined using Winnonlin program and trapezoidal rule. Results were compared to the estimated AUCs using LSMs (Vassal 1992, Schuler 1994, Hassan 1996, Chatergoon 1997). The best correlation between the AUCs determined using trapezoidal rule and 3-points model by Schuler was found (R²=0.95 for all patients, R²=0.97 for children and R²=0.94 for adults). In children, a correlation between AUCs determined with trapezoidal rule and following LSMs was found: 2-points LSM by Schuler (R²=0.94), LSM by Hassan (R²=0.94), LSM by Vassal (R²=0.81) and 3 of 5 LSMs by Chatergoon (R²=0.85, 0.88 and 0.87, resp.). AUCs in children determined using Winnonlin showed good correlation with both Schuler’s models, model by Hassan and one of 4-points models by Chatergoon. However, the correlation between the AUCs determined using trapezoidal rule and Winnonlin was good in children (R²=0.98), but not in adults (R²=0.65). Thus, several limited sampling models are suitable for AUC estimation in children, while there is only one suitable model for adults. This conclusion is made with reservation that even the trapezoidal rule may underestimate the real AUC dependent on sampling density.

Para tanto, dedica-se atenção ao que foi estabelecido no decreto n. 239, de 5 de junho de 1899, por meio do qual se aprovaram os programas do ensino elementar e complementar para o Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, e a sua relação com um manual didático para o ensino de Aritmética publicado em São Leopoldo/RS, por Luís Schuler em 1904. Em termos gerais, percebeu-se que os conteúdos abordados no livro guardam estreita relação com o texto legal, apesar de pequenas incoerências.Palavras-chave: História da Educação, Manuais Escolares, Ensino de Matemática, Aritmética. AbstractThrough this text it is proposed to understand how legal definitions had repercussions in the teaching of Arithmetic and in the textbooks production in Rio Grande do Sul at the beginning of the 20th century. Therefore, attention is paid to what was established in act n. 239 of June 5, 1899, which approved the programs of elementary and supplementary education for the State of Rio Grande do Sul, and its relationship with a didactic manual for teaching Arithmetic published in São Leopoldo/RS , by Luis Schuler in 1904. Abstract The paper is intended to discuss errors in measurements of angular velocity and linear acceleration by means of electronic inertial sensors incorporated into the Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS) as well as Inertial Navigation Systems (INS). The mathematical equations are found out to establish how these errors affect deviations of flight parameters (such as linear speed and coordinates of the aircraft position indicated by navigation systems) that are calculated from the measurements and imaged e.g. in helmetmounted cueing systems. Some issues related to diagnostics of inertial navigation systems are addressed as well, both the most recent ones (e.g. the TOTEM-3000 central station with laser sensors installed on-board of the W-3PL GŁUSZEC helicopter) integrated via digital data buses MIL-1553B or ARINC-429 as well as more outdated solutions, such as IKW-1 and IKW-8 system used for Su-22 aircrafts. The methods of examination of the data processing paths for signals received from inertial sensors are presented with guidelines for development of the computer system for assessment of technical condition exhibited by systems of inertial navigation with prolonged technical resource.

AbstractA revision of several specimens of Catillaria mediterranea Hafellner revealed that two species can be recognized: C. mediterranea s. str., which has 8–16 spores per ascus, grows on foliose and fruticose lichens, and has a Mediterranean- Macaronesian, montane distribution, and C. praedicta Tretiach & Hafellner sp. nov., which has (16-) 24–32 (-48) spores per ascus, occurs on shrubs in coastal Mediterranean maquis, and has a Mediterranean, maritime distribution. The systematic affinities of the two species with the 8-spored C. nigrodavata (Nyl.) Schuler are briefly discussed.

Das Bauhaus (1919–1933) gehört als eine der bekanntesten Schulen der Moderne zum Kern des nationalen Kulturerbes in Deutschland. Dies haben nicht zuletzt die Feierlichkeiten zum 100. Jubiläum der Schulgründung im Jahr 2019 und die Eröffnung zweier neuer Museen in Weimar und Dessau gezeigt, ein drittes befindet sich in Berlin noch im Bau. Die Bedeutung des Bauhauserbes für die gegenwärtige regionale und nationale Kulturpolitik scheint grundlegend. Auch seitens der EU werden mit der Initiative des sogenannten New European Bauhaus Mythos und Marke der Schule weiter bedient.1 Die politische Vereinnahmung wird viele Gründe haben. So hatte das historische Bauhaus bereits den Anspruch, mit Gestaltung das Leben der Menschen verbessern zu wollen, und griff damit selbst ins Gesellschaftliche wie Politische aus. Die Parallelität der Schulgeschichte(n) auch nach Schließung der Schule durch die Nationalsozialisten 1933 mit der Geschichte Deutschlands und überhaupt die so nicht zu haltende (nur in Teilen der Wahrheit entsprechende) Behauptung vom Bauhaus als der Verkörperung eines ,guten‘ Deutschland, gerade weil sie von den Nationalsozialisten geschlossen wurde, schufen neben anderen Aspekten die Voraussetzungen für politische Vereinnahmungen und Deutungen aller Art.2
