Abstract:
The article examines two views on the terms as parts of speech. One of them suggests that a term can be expressed only by a noun or a substantial word combination, i. e. by a phrase which has a noun as syntactically most principal word. This point of view is based, first, on the fact that it is the noun that has broad semantic capabilities and isable to convey the essence of terminological names, and, second, on the analysis of real terminological dictionaries, in which noun is the most often input unit. Another point of view is that the term can be expressed not only by a noun or substantial word combination, and modern lexicographic practice seems to confirms this. The authors consistently provide examples confirming that linguistic specificity of the term cannot be limited by its expression only by nouns. For example, the adjectives technogenic, cerebral, juvenile, etc. are not derived from any substantive, which theoretically could have been the case, but so far there are no such nouns either in dictionaries or in any relevant texts (technogenic — technogenicity* or technogeny*, cerebral — cerebrality*, cerebral*, juvenile — juvenality* or juvenile*). Such adjectives act as independent terms and express certain concepts in the relevant science. Thus, the authors argue that the term can be expressed not only by a noun, but also by an adjective and a verb.

Abstract:
Dictionary usage is one of the potential English as a foreign language learning strategy. The research paper investigates current tendencies in electronic dictionaries use for EFL learning at Ukrainian universities and the attitudes of Ukrainian students toward them. The scholars attempt to answer the following question: What are Ukrainian EFL learners’ use and views of electronic dictionaries? The current study aims to fill a gap in existing literature regarding Ukrainian EFL learners’ preferences and the use of different electronic dictionaries for language learning. The significance of this research lies in understanding the learners’ preferences and support of the electronic dictionaries will help to find effective teaching practices fostering student-centered approaches. We used a quantitative method to collect research data through online tools (Google forms). It was achieved due to analyzing responses to the survey-based questionnaire of 32 learners of Vinnytsia Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics, Ukraine. The findings suggest that students usually use various types of electronic dictionaries because they help them to develop four basic language skills. The participants preferred using electronic dictionaries as effective and motivating aids. We concluded that Ukrainian learners had a positive attitude toward electronic dictionaries implementation as they can improve both the teaching and learning process in educational institutions.

Abstract:
The article presents the results of the lexicographic work of the Department of Linguistics of the Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ufa Federal Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences over the past century. From the moment of the creation of the Institute, the lexicographic work has become one of the main in its activities. The efforts of the Institute staff have created and are still creating numerous dictionaries related to various lexicographic types. Among them are spelling dictionaries that codify the literary norms of the language, terminological dictionaries that cover various branches of science, technology and production, they laid the foundations of a new scientific terminology and scientific style of the Bashkir language. Today, there are more than sixty Bashkir terminological dictionaries. Bilingual and multilingual dictionaries are designed to meet the needs of bilingual and multilingual readers, educational dictionaries meet the didactic objectives. The dialectological dictionaries contain especially valuable information on the peculiarities of dialects of the Bashkir language. A lot of semasiological and word-formation dictionaries help to establish roots and semantic features of the Bashkir language. Creating onomastic dictionaries is one of the priorities in the activities of the Institute. Among the dictionaries on ethnolinguistics, dictionaries of mythological vocabulary stand out, where for the first time in Turkology lexemes on the mythology of the people are presented. In the Department of Linguistics, there is a card file of standard and dialect vocabulary of the Bashkir language. Its volume is over 3 million units. The card file was accumulated as a result of linguistic expeditions of different years. The card file is replenished to this day. Based on its materials, full explanatory dictionaries were published, first a monolingual two-volume dictionary (1993), then a multilingual ten-volume Academic Dictionary of the Bashkir Language (2011–2018). The dictionaries are designed to help comprehend the secrets of the native language. An important role is played by modern electronic dictionaries. It was the Department of Linguistics (with its dictionary, dialectology and toponymy sectors in different years) that predominantly prepared and published these lexicographic works. In recent years, the Department’s staff have been compiling an etymological dictionary of the Bashkir language. The article also describes the lexicographic publications in terms of their significance in the spiritual culture of the Bashkir people. The article notes outstanding Bashkir lexicographers, whose dedicated work allowed the Institute of History, Language and Literature to become one of the recognized centers forTurkic lexicography.

Abstract:
Small leaks in water distribution networks have been a major problem both economically and environmentally, as they go undetected for years. We model the signature of small leaks as a unique Directed Acyclic Graph, called the Lean Graph, to find the best places for k sensors for detecting and locating small leaks. We use the sensors to develop dictionaries that map each leak signature to its location. We quantify leaks by matching out-of-normal flows detected by sensors against records in the selected dictionaries. The most similar records of the dictionaries are used to quantify the leaks. Finally, we investigate how much our approach can tolerate corrupted data due to sensor failures by introducing a subspace voting based quantification method. We tested our method on water distribution networks of literature and simulate small leaks ranging from [0.1, 1.0] liter per second. Our experimental results prove that our sensor placement strategy can effectively place k sensors to quantify single and multiple small leaks and can tolerate corrupted data up to some range while maintaining the performance of leak quantification. These outcomes indicate that our approach could be applied in real water distribution networks to minimize the loss caused by small leaks.

Abstract:
For all research data collected, data descriptions and information about the corresponding variables are essential for data analysis and reuse. To enable cross-study comparisons and analyses, semantic interoperability of metadata is one of the most important requirements. In the area of clinical and epidemiological studies, data collection instruments such as case report forms (CRFs), data dictionaries and questionnaires are critical for metadata collection. Even though data collection instruments are often created in a digital form, they are mostly not machine readable; i.e., they are not semantically coded. As a result, the comparison between data collection instruments is complex. The German project NFDI4Health is dedicated to the development of national research data infrastructure for personal health data, and as such searches for ways to enhance semantic interoperability. Retrospective integration of semantic codes into study metadata is important, as ongoing or completed studies contain valuable information. However, this is labor intensive and should be eased by software. To understand the market and find out what techniques and technologies support retrospective semantic annotation/enrichment of metadata, we conducted a literature review. In NFDI4Health, we identified basic requirements for semantic metadata annotation software in the biomedical field and in the context of the FAIR principles. Ten relevant software systems were summarized and aligned with those requirements. We concluded that despite active research on semantic annotation systems, no system meets all requirements. Consequently, further research and software development in this area is needed, as interoperability of data dictionaries, questionnaires and data collection tools is key to reusing and combining results from independent research studies.

Abstract:
The aim of the study is to determine the features of the presentation of linguistic terminology in 1960-2010 dictionaries and reference literature on the Russian language, identifying common and distinctive features in the inclusion of the metalanguage of linguistics in these publications, as well as morphological terms. In the course of the study, a range of such publications was established and the named terms, which had been interpreted in one or another way in the dictionaries and reference books in question, were identified. Statistical data on the volume of vocabulary in the publications under consideration were given in comparison with the number of morphological terms included in them. The ratio of independent and reference dictionary entries was determined, allowing the addressees of the dictionaries to establish the systemic, genus-species, relations between the morphological terms included in dictionaries and reference editions. Attention is drawn to the content and features of the construction of independent dictionary entries. The study is novel in that it is the first to analyse the morphological component of the main lexicographic publications on the terminology of the Russian language reflecting the classical and modern achievements of Russian grammatical thought. The obtained results showed that the terms of morphological science are not equally represented in the thesauruses of the main dictionaries on the terminology of the Russian language. This fact is explained by the total volume of terminological vocabulary of the publications examined, their genre features (encyclopaedia, reference book, educational dictionary, etc.), the purpose of creation, the nature of the addressee. One of the significant factors accounting for the difference between morphological terms in the main terminological dictionaries of the Russian language is the formation of new linguistic disciplines, new scientific schools and directions that develop their own metalanguage.

Abstract:
Juvenile hemochromatosis (JH), type 2A hemochromatosis, is a rare autosomal recessive disorder of systemic iron overload due to homozygous mutations of HJV (HFE2), which encodes hemojuvelin, an essential regulator of the hepcidin expression, causing liver fibrosis, diabetes, and heart failure before 30 years of age, often with fatal outcomes. We report two Japanese sisters of 37 and 52 years of age, with JH, who showed the same homozygous HJV I281T mutation and hepcidin deficiency and who both responded well to phlebotomy on an outpatient basis. When all reported cases of JH with homozygous HJV mutations in the relevant literature were reviewed, we found—for the first time—that JH developed in females and males at a ratio of 3:2, with no age difference in the two groups. Furthermore, we found that the age of onset of JH may depend on the types of HJV mutations. In comparison to patients with the most common G320V/G320V mutation, JH developed earlier in patients with L101P/L101P or R385X/R385X mutations and later in patients with I281T/I281T mutations.

Abstract The aim of this article is to elaborate on the nouns listed in the title based on selected vernacular records, which in a certain phrase, but also by themselves, express the meanings making troubles/difficulties and seeking excuses/evasions . First of all, Transylvanian Saxon and High German respectively the German colloquial language have these lexemes in common, as well as vernacular words that do not belong to this linguistic level. Furthermore, it should be clarified that these vernacular words are attested in different sound variants from case to case in the Rhenish, in the Palatine and in the Bavarian-Austrian vernaculars, in the same or similar meanings in corresponding vernacular dictionaries. Transylvanian Saxon proper vocabulary is represented by a borrowing from Latin and two borrowings from Romanian. The dialect documents presented in the article are taken from the Transylvanian-Saxon Dictionary, its archive, the North Transylvanian Dictionary as well as from dialect and specialist literature. The etymological explanations respectively the etymological considerations of the analyzed lexemes have been prepared mainly based on relevant specialist dictionaries.

Abstract:
The article considers the issue of nomination and interpretation of the terminological system of pedagogical science from the time of researchers’ address to this issue, ie from the 1960s to the present. The author has implemented a scientific approach, which analyzes works on both historical and contemporary aspects of pedagogical terminology in the context of pedagogical science and linguistics. The assessment of the history of development and the current state of the domestic pedagogical terminology by Ukrainian researchers-lexicologists is revealed. It was found that Ukrainian linguists in their lexicological research pay sufficient attention to the history and current state of pedagogical terminology used in pedagogical literature, including the characteristics of reference literature – pedagogical dictionaries and encyclopedias. The subject of the author’s analysis were the works of researchers-educators who analyze the terminology of pedagogical science, its positive and negative aspects in their diachronic and synchronous dimensions. In the absence of a differentiated approach in modern scientific discourse, a comparative analysis of the positions of Soviet, Russian and Ukrainian authors, who are still in a single domestic research field. It is noted that the main channel of enrichment of the conceptual and terminological apparatus of pedagogical science is modern educational practice, which does not pass the relevant expert assessment by specialists, but immediately replenishes the pedagogical terminology. It was found that the creative heritage of famous domestic teachers, their original conceptual and terminological vocabulary is beyond the scientific interests of modern Ukrainian researchers. Instead, there is an active creation of neologisms, mostly in English, new two-word or multi-word terms, especially when describing new forms and methods of teaching and education, as well as in qualifying works. The general conclusion about the need to pay more attention to research on the history and current state of the pedagogical terminology as an important component of pedagogical development. The availability of Ukrainian general pedagogical reference literature – dictionaries and encyclopedias – their terminological content also requires a separate analysis, as the development of domestic pedagogical science provides enough material to create a standardized and systematized terminology.

Abstract:
Juvenile fibromyalgia (JFM) is a chronic pain syndrome with onset in developmental age, characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain associated with other neurological or nonneurological symptoms. Headache is one of the most frequent comorbid conditions with JFM, but this association is still poorly studied in the juvenile population. The literature review was conducted searching through PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science with a combination of the following free-text terms: “fibromyalgia,” “juvenile fibromyalgia,” “headache,” “primary headache,” “migraine,” “children,” “adolescents,” and “comorbidity.” The research resulted only in two specific studies regarding comorbidity JFM + Juvenile Headache (JH). From each study, we extracted data about sample features, clinical characteristics of both JFM and PH, and assessment tools. The clinical approach to JFM and JH should include a complete examination of the main causes of comorbid diseases, thus improving the therapeutic approach to the patient in developmental age.

Abstract The brachyuran crab, Leurocyclus tuberculosus (H. Milne Edwards & Lucas, 1842) is widely distributed along the Atlantic coast of South America, but there are no precise records about its occurrence on the Chilean Pacific coast. The present study is a description of four juvenile specimens of L. tuberculosus collected from an intertidal prairie of Gracilaria sp. in an inner sea in Chile (41°S, Puerto Montt). According to existing literature, the specimens would be juvenile individuals belonging to L. tuberculosus that, in accordance with the literature, was described as probably inhabiting the Chilean coasts without more details. The literature revealed that this species is widely distributed along the Atlantic coasts of South America, and can also, probably due to dynamic oceanographic processes, be present on the southern Pacific coast.

This article deals with the processes of linguistic and cultural transfer of nominations of the social diseases sphere in the diachronic aspect, as well as the factors that lead to the appearance and consolidation of new linguistic units in the language. The study features nominations related to the social diseases and medical spheres taken from bilingual and multilingual medical dictionaries and dictionaries of foreign words, scientific and popular science literature. We can distinguish the following diachronic classification of English words in Russian language: 1) non-assimilated anglicisms; 2) partially assimilated anglicisms; 3) fully assimilated anglicisms. The extralinguistic factors of linguistic and cultural transfer may include the interaction of cultures and the authority of the source language. The intralinguistic factors may include the absence of the equivalent in the native language, the tendency to use one word instead of a descriptive phrase, impossibility of formation of derivatives in the native language.

Reading activity is something that is now rarely done by today's children. One reason is that many of them do not know the meaning of the words or terms contained in the book. That way, they do not fully understand the substance of the book they are reading so they become lazy to read other textbooks. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce a dictionary for them to make it easier for them to find out difficult things from the books they read. In addition, this study also aims to find out other benefits of introducing dictionaries to young children. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach. The research results obtained from this study indicate that introducing dictionaries to children from an early age can increase their literacy interest in textbooks. In addition, children will become fond of reading books, both science books and children's literature.

Abstract:
Economists and sociologists have repeatedly raised the problem of defining the concepts of “institute” and “institutions”, “institutionality” and “institutionalism”. This is due to informal mix of terms, epistemology of institutionalism and different translation of foreign sources. However, attempts to draw attention to delimitation of these concepts in various scientific sources did not give an actual result – in fact, until now there has not been formed a system for defining, specifying and clearly articulating specific terms. Hence, all the works of this semantic nature did not get practical implementation. Thus, the authors assume that in the science of institutionalism, due to misinformation of the main terms, there is a gap in understanding their meaning, degree of study and adequacy, significance. During the processing of official scientific and reference publications, it was suggested that plurality of explanation and use of the category “institute” was due to a number of reasons, one of which is etymological one. The publications included: scientific articles on the subject, monographs, extended abstracts of thesis and thesis, textbooks, encyclopedias, as well as dictionaries: bilingual, dictionaries of foreign words, terminological, etymological, encyclopedic, interpretative, academic, dictionaries-reference books. It is also important that, besides scientific publications, the definitions studied are also found in reference dictionaries, reference books, encyclopedias, etc., which to a certain extent testifies to the official interpretation of these concepts. Accordingly, based on the analysis of reference encyclopedic literature, terms and literary sources were grouped based on similarity of interpretation. However, it is not always possible to equate one rule to all adjacent processes in scientific theories. And since the institutional theory relates to several scientific areas (for example, social, economic, legal, theoretical and methodological, state-building, etc.), the authors consider it appropriate to separate the role of concepts depending on their functional purpose.

Abstract:
JPFS (juvenile primary fibromyalgia syndrome) is a musculoskeletal pain illness that affects children and adolescents. The intricacy of the clinical picture in JPFS has not been adequately characterized in the literature. JFMS symptoms are sometimes difficult to compare to adult fibromyalgia syndrome since many of them are "medically unexplained" and frequently overlap with other medical disorders. The etiology of the illness is multifaceted, with impaired central pain processing being a significant contributor. Musculoskeletal pain that is severe and pervasive is the defining symptom. Other signs and symptoms include headaches, stiffness, subjective joint swelling, sleep and mood disorders, and headaches. Multiple sensitive spots might be found during a physical examination. The diagnosis has certain criteria and is clinical. Early detection and treatment are crucial. The gold standard of care combines a variety of modalities, but most significantly, exercise and cognitive behavioral therapy. The outlook varies, and symptoms might last well into adulthood. Discussing the epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, and management of JPFS is the goal of the review.

Abstract:
Reintegrating juvenile offenders into society with a positive reception is a primary objective of education, aimed at breaking the cycle of incarceration that results in recidivism. This article aims to delineate the prison education policies within Indonesian juvenile correctional facilities (LPKA), focusing on regulatory frameworks and their practical implementation. It focuses on the issue of the LPKA's capability in Indonesia to ensure access to education, which is a fundamental right of juvenile inmates, and on whether its benefits can be felt and realized. Data collection methods encompassed interviews, regulatory assessments, institutional report evaluations, and literature reviews. Findings indicate that, despite a 270% decrease in juvenile inmate numbers from 2018 to 2022, only 68% of this population was granted educational access. Contributing factors include specific regulatory constraints on educational access and a lack of innovative collaborations, even with the reduced workload in LPKA. The study advocates for the initiation of formal educational institutions within LPKA, minimizing reliance on the Ministry of Education and allowing for curriculum adaptation to prevailing conditions. Abstract:
Children have an important role in social and state life, because of their position as the nation's successors. Therefore, children have the potential to play an active role in preserving the life of the nation, in order to realize the goal of establishing a government that protects citizens. Narcotics abuse by children is currently a concern for many people and is continuously discussed and publicized. In fact, the problem of narcotics abuse is of concern to various groups, especially the involvement of children as narcotics couriers, which is a series of evil conspiracy to carry out illegal narcotics distribution. In the capacity of a child being used as a courier, it is a very worrying thing where the child will face the law and be classified as having committed a narcotics crime. With children's limited abilities and imperfections, it is necessary to pay attention to law enforcement officials in implementing punishment for children who are perpetrators of narcotics crimes. This research is normative legal research with a statutory approach, analytical approach. The type of data used is secondary data: Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, Law Number 35 of 2014 Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, Criminal Code, while secondary legal materials are obtained from law books and other literature, tertiary legal materials are in the form of dictionaries.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to extend the existing literature on the workplace experiences of staff who work with juvenile offenders. We do this by assessing the extent of secondary trauma among a sample of juvenile detention officers and juvenile probation officers, and examine whether or not predictors of secondary trauma differ by position. Ordinary least squares (OLS) regression results based on a survey of 298 staff reveal that secondary trauma is relatively low among both juvenile detention officers and juvenile court/probation officers. Additionally, results indicate predictors of secondary trauma differ for each of these job positions. Experiencing threat or harm from offenders increased secondary trauma for detention officers but not for probation/court officers. However, having a higher level of education and input into decision-making decreased secondary trauma for probation/court officers, but not for detention officers. Greater support from coworkers led to decreased secondary trauma for both detention and probation/court officers. Implications for detention and probation agencies include efforts to improve supervisor and coworker support, as well as debriefing sessions after threat of harm incidents have occurred.

Abstract:
The article provides a comprehensive analysis of medieval written heritage and Arabic-Kipchak dictionaries written in the old Kipchak language during the Mamluks (13–15th centuries). In particular, a comparative study of lexical sections of linguistic works known in modern Turkic studies, such as «Tarjuman», «Al-Idrak», «At-Tuhfa», «Al-Qawanin» and «Ad-Durra» was conducted, and similarities, structural differences and content features of Arabic-Kipchak dictionaries are determined. By studying the linguistic materials in the Arabic-Kipchak dictionaries sections of these monuments, it is possible to collect valuable data in the study of the history of modern Turkic languages, including the Kazakh language belonging to the Kipchak group. Linguistic data in the Mamluk-Kipchak language preserved in the medieval manuscripts of the Mamluks provide information not only about the medieval Egyptian society, but also about the history, culture, literature, language, religion, mentality and life of the peoples of the Golden Horde, which had close relations with the Mamluk state of Egypt. Therefore, a comprehensive study of the Mamluk manuscripts as a common cultural heritage of all Turkic peoples, including a comparative analysis with a general description of linguistic works, is one of the most important issues in the field of linguistics and Turkic studies. In modern domestic science there is a need to propagate among the people by finding and comprehensively studying written monuments about the history and culture of our nation.

Abstract:
The paper deals with the research on the prevalence of recent anglicisms in the everyday language of the students at the Department of English Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philosophy in Kosovska Mitrovica. Since the anglicisms that have entered the Serbian language in the last two decades are the result of progress in information and computer technology, the goal of this research is to assess the most common Englishorigin vocabulary, especially in the speech of older adolescents. Although the sample was a group of English language students (N=50), it is assumed that their everyday language reflects the language of the wider population of students of English language and literature, which should be examined by including a much larger number of English speakers from different universities in Serbia, in order to reach more reliable results. One of the tasks of the linguists is to preserve the Serbian language from the influx of foreign words, while the role of lexicographers is to publish new dictionaries including all foreign words that enter the Serbian language and persist there. New words of English origin multiply every day in contact with content found on the Internet, starting from social networks, blogs that offer advice for various problems, sites that are full of lexical units originating from the English language, films, series, and so-called "tutorials" that are especially followed by the younger population. This paper will not discuss the justification of the use of anglicisms found, but an attempt will be made to find those that are most frequent, and thus the lexicon that, whether we like it or not, entered the Serbian language. The study relies on the free verbal association method to identify frequent lexical units originating from English. Comparative analysis is performed using the latest dictionaries Rečnik novih reči u srpskom jeziku 1 (Otašević i dr. 2022), abbreviated as RNR, and Srpski rečnik novijih anglicizama (Prćić et al. 2021), abbreviated as SRNA. Consequently, the paper highlights the most frequent lexical units from the students' perspective that are not listed in the dictionaries RNR (2022) and SRNA (2021). Through free verbal associations, students wrote anglicisms they use in their speech. The diversity in the choice of alphabets, as well as forms that the students chose while writing anglicisms, would be determined. This research, although it has shortcomings in terms of the small number of respondents, can still provide valid data in the field of lexicography and contact linguistics.

Abstract:
The bioenergetic mechanism of density-dependent survival in juvenile stream salmonids was modeled using the relationship between density, food availability, and body size for a food-limited stream system. With a consumption-rate function estimated from laboratory experiments reported in the literature, we developed a function to predict maximum density of stream-resident juvenile salmonids of different sizes. This function can thus predict effective density based on both numbers and sizes of fish. Density predictions from this mechanistic function did not differ from predictions in the literature based on an empirically derived function describing the relationship between minimum territory size and body size in age-0 salmonids in streams, but it did suggest a bioenergetic mechanism for these relationships, linking size and consumption rate to the available food. Finally, we proposed a model of per capita survival rate as a function of the numbers and sizes in a cohort of stream-resident juvenile salmonids.

Abstract:
The constructs legal culture, judicial culture and court culture have been used frequently in the literature but there is a lack of clarity between them. This study aims to identify the difference between them. The existing literature and dictionary definitions have been used to conceptually understand the differences between them. Characteristics of them are identified using the existing literature. The meaning of legal, judicial and court have been explored from the various popular dictionaries. Based on the comparative analysis of their characteristics and meanings, a conceptual model is developed. The conceptual model depicts legal culture as a macro construct, judicial culture as a meso, and court culture as a micro-level construct. This study is an initial attempt to make a distinction between these three constructs. The findings of this study will help the legal researchers to develop a clarity between legal culture, judicial culture, and court culture. This clarity will help in avoiding using these constructs interchangeably.

Abstract:
This article deals with the discretion of associative features of names of culturally specific units in the Uzbek language. Also, this article highlights the issue of their classification. The method of studying the associated experience of native Uzbek speakers (L1 users) with the names of cultural units revealed the peculiarities of the emergence of the names of cultural units in the Uzbek language, as well as their nominative expression in associative dictionaries. The names of cultural units in the Uzbek language are different according to different topics. They can be classified as names of national rituals, customs, and traditions, national food, national haberdashery names, names of national cloth, national musical instruments, national songs, national dances, national holidays, national architecture, architect devices (or material), national games, national jewelry, make-up units, local organizations names, etc. The range of the usage of these names is different in a literary language. In this article, a special attention is given to survey how such names are presented in the associative dictionaries. The results of the analysis of materials on associative experiences related to such names show that not only linguistic factors, but extra-linguistic sources also can cause the associations. Specifically, the human factor is studied in the cognition of the names of culture units by Uzbek language native speakers. The issue of the comparison and contrast of other dictionaries with the Uzbek associative dictionary was compiled for the first time.

The article analyzes the factors that determined the formation of the language of science in the Russian culture of the XVIII century. Six key factors are highlighted: 1) transformation of the teaching system and the formation of the habit of using foreign languages in teaching and certain spheres of life; 2) the creation of professional translation practice and the publication of scientific secular literature; 3) the formation of a scientific community; 4) the development of philology, without which it would be impossible to have a literary language; 5) the purposeful desire of native scientists to write their works in ‘simple’ Russian; 6) the practice of compiling dictionaries. In addition, it should be borne in mind that the formation of science and, in particular, its national linguistic discourse would be impossible without the support of the authorities.

Abstract:
Objective. The objective of the article is to study the problem of implementation and effectiveness of social and labor guarantees provided to employees under the age of eighteen. The authors substantiate and analyze the effectiveness of benefits and advantages provided in accordance with the current labor legislation to persons who need additional legal protection, namely minors. Methods.. The tasks are solved by applying such methods as analysis and generalization of scientific, popular science literature and legal acts that provide benefits and advantages to working women and underage employees Results. The authors come to the conclusion that in modern conditions, labor protection requires improvement of both normative and organizational one. The current situation of minors in the labour market is characterized by discrimination. When applying for employment, persons under the age of 18 are not reported about a special set of additional rights, and some employers take advantage of this. Therefore, one of the factors in the implementation of labor protection standards for minors is to inform persons under the age of eighteen about their rights, guarantees, and working conditions through the mass media, which have a fairly effective impact on young people. The level of labor protection for persons under 18 indicates about the maturity of the state, the development of its legal institutions and the level of social and legal consciousness. After all, only through work can people meet their material and moral needs. Therefore, taking into account the physiological and physical characteristics of the body of a minor, which is just being formed, we need to improve labor protection not only in our country, but also in the international community, because life and health are the most important value.

Abstract:
Over the past 50 years, image-guided procedures have been established for a wide range of applications. The development and clinical translation of new treatment regimens necessitate the availability of suitable animal models. The juvenile Göttingen minipig presents a favourable profile as a model for human infants. However, no information can be found regarding the vascular system of juvenile minipigs in the literature. Such information is imperative for planning the accessibility of target structures by catheterization. We present here a complete mapping of the arterial system of the juvenile minipig based on contrast-enhanced computed tomography. Four female animals weighing 6.13 ± 0.72 kg were used for the analyses. Imaging was performed under anaesthesia, and the measurement of the vascular structures was performed independently by four investigators. Our dataset forms a basis for future interventional studies in juvenile minipigs, and enables planning and refinement of future experiments according to the 3R (replacement, reduction and refinement) principles of animal research.

Abstract:
Mangroves are critical fish and invertebrate habitats, however, identifying to what degree species are affiliated to mangrove systems remains challenging. Here we outline and apply two quantitative methods and one qualitative method for assessing the degree of mangrove affiliation globally at a species level , based on habitat-specific fish and invertebrate species densities extracted from an exhaustive search of the literature , for mangroves and their associated coastal habitats. We assessed all 121 species for which we had ≥7 mangrove records and, where data allowed, quantified the percent contribution of mangroves to the summed species density across all habitats. We set the threshold for identifying a species as "highly mangrove- affiliated" as ≥70% relative density, and examined its validity by subjecting a subset of species either side of the threshold to a thorough review of evidence for mangrove affiliation in the peer-reviewed literature. We found that 53 species were highly mangrove-affiliated, including 24 fish and three invertebrate species from the Atlantic East Pacific (AEP) and nine fish and 15 invertebrate species from the Indo-West Pacific (IWP; two species had global distributions). Thirty- six of the 53 species are of value to artisanal, subsistence, or commercial fisheries (AEP = 21, IWP = 13, Global = 2). While this list of highly mangrove-affiliated species is far from complete due to data limitations, it represents the first attempt to undertake a global overview of highly mangrove- affiliated species, and a proof of concept for a quantitative and objective method of assessment.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends of juvenile offenders in Korea, and to provide future tasks and directions. In order to achieve this, the study analyzed 434 articles and dissertations, classifying them into year, research topic, and research method. The results of the research trends are as follows. First, in the case of yearly trends, there was an increase or decrease from year to year, but generally did not show a large change. However, when a social incident related to juvenile offenders occurred and was highlighted in the media, the number of research increased. Second, the number of the most research subject was 'laws and institutions', and the least research subject was 'facility'. In the future, research on juvenile offenders needs to be research widely with various subjects. Third, the most used research method is the literature research method. This seems to be due to research ethics and ease of access. This study is meaningful in that it systematically analyzed research related to juvenile offenders and suggested future research directions. If research on juvenile offenders is conducted more diversely and widely in the future, it will be of great help in making policies and systems related to juvenile offenders.

Abstract:
Juvenile risk and needs assessments (JRNAs) have been the focus of extensive research in the academic literature. Prior studies have primarily focused on the risk-recidivism relationship and establishing predictive validity with juvenile populations. Less investigated is the use of risk and need assessment in practice, including how such tools are used to inform decision-making. This study uses record data encompassing 3,034 youth from a multi-state study to examine dispositional and treatment decisions associated with the Ohio Youth Assessment System (OYAS). Specifically, mediation analyses were conducted to evaluate how current practices align with underlying logic and theory regarding the role of assessments in juvenile justice. Findings reveal varied and complex relationships between assessment scores, case decisions, and recidivism. While risk was generally associated with recidivism, our results suggest juvenile risk and need assessments are inconsistently used to inform case management and placement decisions. Implications for practice and future research are also discussed.

Abstract:
Some new cases of anomalies in wild Bufotes viridis from Western Poland are presented together with a discussion of their potential causes and a comparison with similar cases from the literature. The anomalies in question are color aberrations (pre- and post-metamorphic) and developmental pathologies (pre–metamorphic). The color anomalies include an ochre patch in a juvenile, leucism and albinism in both tadpoles and juvenile individuals. Developmental pathologies described in this paper include gigantism, edema, curvature of tail, and asymmetric bodies.

Abstract:
Abstract Juvenile psammomatoid ossifying fibroma (OF) is a rare histological variant of OF with aggressive behavior. It is a benign fibro-osseous lesion with a high rate of recurrence. It occurs mainly in male children with paranasal sinuses and orbits the most common sites. The diagnosis depends on clinical, radiologic, and pathologic correlation. This study aims to present a case report of juvenile psammomatoid OF (JPOF) in a 9-year-old boy and to also review the relevant literature. A case of a 9-year-old boy who presented with a 1-year history of the left maxillary swelling was presented. There was no associated history of pain, ulceration, bleeding, or teeth mobility. There was no history of previous trauma to the site or teeth extraction. The patient had no difficulty in chewing, speaking, nasal blockage, or discharge. Examination revealed an ovoid left maxillary buccal mass measuring about 4 cm × 3 cm, which was hard, nontender with no teeth mobility. The diagnosis of JPOF made was confirmed through a combination of clinical, radiological, and histopathological findings. The patient had enucleation of the lesion under general anesthesia. Follow-up was satisfactory with no recurrence. JPOF is a rare histological variant of OF that is known to exhibit a high rate of recurrence. Although clinical and radiological features contribute to its diagnosis, histopathological examination has been the main diagnostic modality. Early detection and treatment are essential.

Abstract:
Case History Five juvenile Labrador Retrievers between the ages of 6 and 8 months were presented to our referral centres with a history of intermittent forelimb lameness. Clinical Examination The clinical examination revealed the presence of bilateral orthopaedic problems in four out of five cases. Diagnostic Imaging Findings Radiographic and computed tomography examinations showed the presence of a radiolucent defect corresponding to the area of insertion of the infraspinatus or supraspinatus tendons on the proximal humerus. Three dogs were concurrently affected by elbow disease on the contralateral forelimb and one dog with bilateral infraspinatus avulsion also had osteochondritis dissecans affecting both shoulder joints. Diagnosis Avulsion of the insertion of the infraspinatus tendon in four dogs and of the supraspinatus tendon in one dog. Clinical Relevance According to the current literature, the incidence of infraspinatus and supraspinatus tendinopathies in adult Labrador Retrievers is higher than in other breeds. In our five cases, the patients were juvenile and the nature of the injury was an avulsion of the tendinous insertion. Avulsion of the tendon of insertion of the infraspinatus or supraspinatus has been poorly described in the veterinary literature, and this would represent the first series of cases affecting juvenile Labrador Retrievers.
