Health problems cannot be solved by health officials alone. The scout movement with millions of members throughout Indonesia clearly has a very important role in this. Scout members as millennial youth can be important agents of change, both for fellow youths, for parents and their families as well as for society as a whole. The members of the Ventura Scouts (16-20 years) andRover Scouts (20-25 years) in Indonesia number around 3.6 million (16% of 23 million). Abstract: This essay explores how the figure of the good citizen might be reimagined in terms of a citizen-subjectivity that is up to the demands of our times (neoliberalism, climate apocalypse, and rising authoritarianism). Abstract:
Founded by Baden-Powell, Scouting, as a non-formal education, allows its members to value the environment, preparing them for preservation and sustainable development. The practice of scouting and its socio-environmental and educational benefits for adolescents from the Bernardo Sayão Scout Group were analyzed, through the activity Insignia Reduce, Recycle and Reuse (3R's). Bibliographical and field research was carried out, with a qualitative approach. The theoretical framework was based on the concepts of Scouting, Environmental Education, Non-formal Education, Transdisciplinary Education. Weekly technical visits were made to the Scout Group, from October to November/2022. For four months, the scouts gathered PET bottle caps and participated in workshops and, with the guidance of a Scoutmaster, made with the caps: tic-tac-toe, pencil holder, “fidget spinner”, cup holder and plastic plate. The scouts evaluated the discarded material on the environment and realized the importance of responsible consumption and reuse of bottle caps. This research demonstrated that the Scout method is a transdisciplinary education that is concerned and carries out activities related to environmental and sustainability issues, such as the 3R's Insignia, promoting sustainable habits for an ecological and healthy lifestyle.

Abstract:
In the interwar period the scouting in the south-eastern voivodships of the Republic of Poland functioned as the Region of Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) based in Lviv. Administratively, it covered the entire voivodeship of Tarnopol and Stanisławów, and most of Lviv. In the interwar period, efforts were made to include the military training in the Scouting Region and Detachment in Lviv. The Military Training and Physical Education Departments were established in the structures of Lviv Scouting Regiment and in a significant part of the scout troops. Both the military and scout authorities at the central level as well as the individual ZHP regions organized military training camps for older schoolchildren and students. The cooperation of the scouting with military units brought benefits to the scouting movement. The army made its base available for the organization of the summer camps and also provided logistic assistance. The skills acquired in the military training camps allowed the scouts to participate with great involvement in the defensive war of 1939, and then to create the structures of the Polish Underground State during the occupation.
