Neonatal adrenal haemorrhage (NAH) is more frequently described in neonates due to their relatively larger size and increased vascularity. While most are asymptomatic, they can present with anaemia, jaundice, abdominal mass, scrotal haematoma or more severe complications such as shock and adrenal insufficiency. Scrotal haematoma seen with NAH may be mistaken for other more serious conditions causing acute scrotum. Prompt sonographic examination that includes the bilateral adrenal glands may help to detect NAH early and to avoid unnecessary interventions. Cases of NAH causing ipsilateral inguin

Neonatal scrotal haematoma is a rare entity which requires prompt diagnosis and management. Mostly the diagnosis is confirmed at exploration. No cause of scrotal haematoma could be identified. The baby is doing fine postoperatively.

The most common finding was torted cyst of Morgagni (63/119, 52.9%), followed by testicular torsion (41/119, 34.4%). The majority of testicular torsions occurred in the pubertal group (22/41, 53.6%). Background: In infertile men with varicocele, controlled studies clearly indicate that varicocelectomy improves pregnancy rates. Non microsurgical varicocelectomy is associated with many complications; hydrocele is the most common one. Many techniques have been done to reduce the incidence of post-varicocelectomy hydrocele which is somewhat difficult to be done. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of pre-emptive eversion of tunica vaginalis in avoidance of post-operative hydrocele after non microsurgical varicocelectomy and its effect on fertility. Methods: A total number of 115 infertile

Laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair has become popular as an alternative to open surgery. The classical TEP technique is the laparoscopic technique of hernia repair which is considered closest to ideal for inguinal hernia repair, but this technique has several drawbacks such as limited space for dissection and mesh placement, restricted port placement, a low tolerance of accidental pneumoperitoneum, and difficulty in teaching and learning the technique. Extendedview modification, the eTEP technique, which overcomes several of these drawbacks. The eTEP approach can quickly and easily create an

Introduction.Currently the surgical treatment of inguinal hernias in children is usually a high ligation of the hernia sac without the separation of its distal portion or plastic reconstruction of the inguinal canal. This technique is considered the treatment of choice as it has brought down the incidence of post-operative hernias and testicular atrophy. However, the issues of approach to the selection of a conservative treatment strategy and the role played by instrumental examination methods used to determine indications for surgical treatment remain controversial.Materials and methods. This
