Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat jednotlivé fáze kupního rozhodovacího procesu na trhu cestovního ruchu. Součástí teorie jsou kapitoly zaměřené na trh cestovního ruchu, marketing cestovního ruchu a samotný kupní rozhodovací proces. V praktické části se věnuji dotazníkovému šetření, ze kterého mi vyplynuly důležitá data k analýze kupního rozhodovacího procesu. Cenné informace jsem získala také ze statistik institucí zabývajícími se trhem cestovního ruchu, mezi něž patří Czech Tourism a MEDIAN, s.r.o. V závěrečném shrnutí popisuji jednotlivé etapy nákupního rozhodnutí.
