Abstract:

La these comprend deux tomes. Dans le premier, qui est le commentaire proprement dit, apres une analyse du concept de bibliographie et la justification de l'appellation sebastica, suit la presentation des 8 sections respectives de la bibliographie: histoire, sebastianisme et "quinto imperio", poesie, theatre, fiction, vulgarisation, iconographie, bibliographie. Deux annexes regroupent les "epithetes" attribues au roi, classes par ordre chronologique (annexe i) et alphabetique (annexe ii). Dans l'analyse du contenu de chaque section sont presentees les distinctions entre oeuvres principales et oeuvres secondaires et la justification de leur regroupement sous le meme titre. L'auteur donne un apercu general de la vie et du regne de d. Sebastien, ainsi que de la definition et de l'evolution du sebastianisme du portugal et au bresil comme donnee de la culture portugaise et bresilienne. Le second tome presente la bibliographie proprement dite, avec un total de 2740 fiches, des differentes langues qui se sont occupees. De cette thematique. Deux index completent la bibliographie: l'un des mots-cles, l'autre des auteurs. L'ouvrage est illustre de reproductions de frontispices de quelques oeuvres importantes citees
This work is presented in two volumes. In the first one, which is the critical analysis itself, after a study of the concept of bibliography, and a justification of the title sebastica, there follows the order of the presentation of the corresponding parts the bibliography is divided into: history, sebastianism and "quinto imperio", poetry, theatre, fiction, divulgation, iconography, bibliography. There are still two appendixes with the "epitetos" ("epithets") imputed to the king, which are ordered chronologically (annexe i) and alphabetically (annexe ii). In the analysis of the content of each part, the author took into account the distinction between the main works and the less important ones, and an explanition of why each work is included in a given section. There is also a general survey of life and reign of king sebastian; and the definition and presentation of the sebastianism in portugal and in brasil as an aspect of the portuguese and brasilian cultures. The second volume displays the bibliography itself, in the different languages, with 2740 entries. Two tables of contents, of key-words and authors, conclude the presentation of the bibliography, where some front pages of important works of the sebastica are transcribed

Abstract:

L'objectif de ces travaux a été d'étudier la formation de composés organiques iodés lorsque des eaux contenant des matières organiques naturelles et des ions iodure sont en contact d'oxydes de manganèse (MnO2). Les oxydes de manganèse sont largement présents dans l'environnement et sont utilisés en production d'eaux de consommation comme matériau catalytique pour l'élimination du manganèse dissous. Les travaux ont été réalisés avec un oxyde de manganèse naturel et avec de la birnessite (dMnO2) synthétisée au laboratoire. Une étude cinétique a montré que les ions iodure sont oxydés en iode I2 comme espèce intermédiaire puis en ions iodate IO3- pour des pH < 7,5. L'iode et les ions iodate sont adsorbés sur les oxydes. L'iode réagit par substitution électrophile avec les matières organiques naturelles pour former des composés organiques iodés. Des composés spécifiques tels que l'iodométhane, l'iodoforme et l'acide iodoacétique ont été identifiés. L'iodoforme, formé par la réaction haloforme, est le composé majoritaire. Les oxydes de manganèse joueraient également le rôle de catalyseur en polarisant la molécule d'iode. Les composés organiques iodés possèdent une toxicité plus importante que leurs analogues chlorés et bromés et peuvent induire des problèmes organoleptiques dans les eaux traitées
Manganese dioxides (MnO2) are present in the environment and are used in water treatment for the catalytic removal of manganese. This study shows that manganese dioxide acts as a catalyst in the iodination of natural organic matter. Natural Mn product and synthetic birnessite were used. Iodide ion is oxidised to iodate ion by synthetic birnessite. Molecular iodine was analysed as reactive intermediate species in the oxidation of iodide ion into iodate ion for pH < 7. 5. Iodate ion and iodine are adsorbed on manganese oxide. In presence of natural organic matter (NOM) and iodide ion, it was shown that birnessite (dMnO2) can initiate the formation of organic iodine like iodoform, iodomethane and iodoacetic acid. Iodoform, a toxic and taste and odour compound, was the main identified iodinated organic compounds. It was postulated that manganese dioxide can promote the halogenation of organic matter at acidic pH by oxidizing iodide ion to iodine but also by polarising the elemental iodine molecule. Formation of toxic and taste and odour compounds is then expected when iodide containing natural source waters are in contact with manganese dioxide in environment and during treatment of Mn containing waters

Abstract:

L’intérieur des bâtiments est souvent modélisé en 3D pour diverses applications de modélisation ou de simulation. Par exemple, plusieurs méthodes permettent d’étudier l’éclairage, les transferts de chaleur, la propagation d’ondes. Ces applications nécessitent dans la plupart des cas une représentation volumique de l’environnement avec des relations d’adjacence et d’incidence entre les éléments. Malheureusement, les données correspondant au bâtiment sont en général seulement disponibles en 2D et les besoins des applications 3D varient d’une utilisation à l’autre. Pour résoudre ce problème, nous proposons une description formelle d’un ensemble de contraintes de cohérence dédiées à la modélisation d’intérieur de bâtiments. Dans cette thèse nous montrons comment cette représentation est utilisée pour : (i) reconstruire un modèle 3D à partir de plans d’architecte numériques 2D ; (ii) détecter automatiquement les incohérences géométriques, topologiques et sémantiques ; (iii) développer des opérations automatiques et semi-automatiques pour corriger les plans 2D. Toutes les contraintes de cohérence sont définies en 2D et 3D et reposent sur le modèle topologique des cartes généralisées. Ces opérations sont utilisées pour éditer les scènes 2D et 3D afin d’affiner ou de modifier les modèles. Enfin, nous expliquons comment ce modèle est utilisé pour une application de visualisation par lancé de rayons
Virtual architectural (indoor) scenes are often modelled in 3D for various types of simulation systems. For instance, some authors propose methods dedicated to lighting, heat transfer, acoustic or radio wave propagation simulations. These methods rely in most cases on a volumetric representation of the environment, with adjacency and incidence relationships. Unfortunately, many buildings data are only given by 2D plans and the 3D needs varies from one application to another. To solve these problems, we propose a formal representation of consistency constraints dedicated to building interiors and associated with a topological model. We show that such a representation can be used for : (i) reconstructing a 3D model from 2D architectural plans ; (ii) detecting automatically geometrical, topological and semantical inconsistencies ; (iii) designing automatic and semi-automatic operations to correct and enrich a 2D plan. All our constraints are homogeneously defined in 2D and 3D, implemented with generalized maps and used in modeling operations. We explain how this model can be successfully used with various ray-tracing methods

Ce travail a pour objet d'analyser la vision de l'histoire de Sébastien Franck à partir d'une étude de la Chronique publiée en 1531 et rééditée par ses soins en 1536. Le travail de compilation et les stratégies d'écriture développées par l'auteur révèlent l'influence de l'histoire sur l'évolution du savoir et des connaissances. La remise en cause des vérités d'autorité conduit à une révolution copernicienne de l'esprit : à un savoir clos se substitue une pensée ouverte qui reconnaît un potentiel de vérité dans des pensers différents. L'écriture de l'histoire, seconde révélation et pendant de l'Ecriture, se mue en quête de l'humain : à l'aune de l'histoire se dessine un idéal de fraternité et de tolérance qui constitue une étape importante d'un processus d'hominisation fondé sur la prise de contact avec des temps et des espaces différents. A ce titre, la Chronique est un " document historique " dont l'analyse représente une contribution importante à l'histoire des mentalités.

Abstract:

Costões rochosos da região de São Sebastião são ecossistemas muito vulneráveis a derrames de petróleo, devido à proximidade do Terminal Petrolífero Almirante Barroso (TEBAR) da PETROBRÁS. Foram documentados 144 vazamentos nos últimos 14 anos, na região. No terminal circulam 30.000.000 toneladas de petróleo por ano, cerca de 55 % da circulação nacional. Pouco se sabe sobre a estrutura da comunidade existente nos costões do canal de São Sebastião, especialmente quanto aos efeitos do petróleo na biota. Os procedimentos de limpeza empregados nestes costões têm sido definidos, principalmente, com base em aspectos estéticos e não ecológicos, o que termina por gerar impactos adicionais muitas vezes mais sérios que os do próprio petróleo. O presente estudo visou avaliar os efeitos do petróleo, aplicado experimentalmente, e acompanhar a recuperação da comunidade após o jateamento com água a alta pressão, avaliando-se a eficiência deste método de limpeza, do ponto de vista ecológico. Pretendeu-se, com isso, definir critérios ecologicamente coerentes para a limpeza de costões rochosos na região. O local do experimento situa-se na praia de Barequeçaba, São Sebastião, S. P., onde uma faixa de costão rochoso previamente estudada recebeu experimentalmente 50 litros de petróleo durante sete dias consecutivos. Dos sete transectos permanentes de estudo, três permaneceram com óleo, dois foram jateados com água à pressão de 2500 libras por polegada quadrada (PSI), além dos dois transectos controle. As amostragens pós impacto duraram dois anos e meio. Concluiu-se que as aplicações de petróleo não causaram impacto perceptível na comunidade estudada, sendo que as maiores alterações observadas foram atribuídas às variações naturais, exceto para Siphonaria hispida, Acmaea subrugosa e Crassostrea rhizophorae, espécies que apresentaram alterações que podem estar relacionadas ao contato com o petróleo. A confirmação destas conclusões necessita de estudos específicos mais aprofundados. O jateamento foi um método de limpeza altamente impactante à comunidade, a qual necessitou de mais de dois anos para retornar às condições de equilíbrio. Concluiu-se que este método, assim como outros métodos de limpeza mecânica, com efeitos similares, devem ser evitados.
Rocky shores of São Sebastião region are vulnerable ecosystems to oil spills, due to the proximity of the Petroleum Terminal Almirante Barroso (TEBAR) from PETROBRÁS. It was documented 144 spills in the last 14 years, at the area. Few studies were done about the community structure of rocky shores on São Sebastião Channel, specially including the effects of petroleum on the biota. The cleaning procedures employed on these shores have been defined, mainly, on aesthetical basis and not ecological basis, generating additional impacts sometimes bigger than those caused by the oil itself. The present study focused the evaluation of the oil effects, when applied experimentally, and evaluated the community recovery process after high pressure water flushing. It was intended to compare the cleanup procedures on an ecological point of view. It is intended to define criteria ecologically coherent for the cleanup of rocky shores on the region. The study area is on Barequeçaba beach, São Sebastião, S.P., were one shore area, previously studied, received 50 liters of crude oil during 7 consecutive days. From the seven permanent study transects, 3 remained with oil, 2 were flushed with a 2500 PSI pressure. 2 transects were the controls. The sampling period was of 2 and a half year. It is concluded that the applications of crude oil didn\'t caused visible impact on the studied community, and the natural variations were responsible for the observed fluctuations, except for Siphonaria hispida, Acmaea subrugosa and Crassostrea rhizophorae, species that presented variations that could be related to the contact with the oil. To confirm these conclusions it must be done more accurate studies with these species. The flushing was a very destructive method to the community, which needed more than 2 years to return to the equilibrium state. It is concluded that this method, like the other mechanical cleanup techniques, with similar effects, must be avoided.

L'extension du royaume de France vers le Nord, dans la première moitié du règne personnel de Louis XIV, engendre un projet de fortification sans précédent. Nouveau système défensif, le "pré carré", voit ainsi le jour en trois phases de construction, de 1668 à 1713. Au XVIIe siècle, commerce et guerre étant étroitement liés (Pocock), les auteurs de cette époque accordent une grande importance aux liens entre conflits et monnaie. Cette thèse met en évidence comment la conception de la monnaie, sous forme de métaux précieux, influence la manière d’envisager la question de l’enrichissement chez Colbert, Vauban et Locke. Elle montre également quelles sont les implications en matière de politiques économiques et de relations sociales. Ces auteurs développent ainsi une pensée pouvant être qualifiée«d’hétérodoxe», en opposition à l’orthodoxie d’Adam Smith qui critique vivement leur question d’une quantité de monnaie nécessaire au fonctionnement du système économique. Dans ce cadre, quatre questions sont traitées. La première consiste à mettre à jour les effets sociaux d’une économie monétaire : l’apparition d’un conflit entre propriétaires terriens et détenteurs de monnaie et la création du gouvernement civil. La seconde permet de souligner le lien entre les relations sociales et les politiques monétaires à mener – à savoir favoriser l’intérêt des marchands ou maintenir une stabilité sociale? La troisième question aborde alors le rôle du gouvernement et des leviers dont il dispose. Le gouvernement doit garantir une quantité de monnaie appropriée, maintenir une balance commerciale excédentaire et faire circuler la monnaie, via une stabilité monétaire ou encore une réforme fiscale. Enfin la dernière question permet d’appréhender le rôle du commerce international. Celui-ci, n’est qu’un moyen de faire circuler la richesse créée au niveau national, selon ces auteurs. Par ailleurs, seul le commerce international permet l’entrée de monnaie sous la forme de métaux précieux
In the 17th century, trade and war are deeply related (Pocock). Thus, authors from thatperiod gave a great importance to the links between conflicts and money. This PhD aims at understanding how the idea of money, as a precious metal, influences Colbert’s, Vauban’s and Locke’s thinking about the question of the enrichment. It further studies the implications of this approach for economic policy and social relations. These authors can be considered as« heterodox » in opposition to the orthodoxy of Adam Smith who sharply criticized their investigation of an appropriate quantity of money needed to ensure the good functioning of an economic system. In this framework, four questions are analysed. The first one discusses the social effects of a monetary economy in the form of the appearance of a conflict between the landed men and the moneyed men, that ultimately leads to the establishment of a civil government. The second one underlines the link between social relations and the required monetary policies: shall measures favour merchants’ interest or shall they maintain social stability? This brings the reader to the third question, which is to define the role of the government and its means of action. The government must ensure that an appropriate quantity of money, maintain a trade surplus and make money circulate. This can be achieved through a monetary stability or by implementing fiscal reform. Finally, the last question revolves around the role of international trade. According to these authors, it is mainly a mean allowing wealth which is created inside the country, to circulate. Besides, international trade is the only way to have inflows of precious metal, thus increasing the quantity of money in the country

Theme recurrent du tableau de paris de l. -s. Mercier et des nuits de paris de retif de la bretonne, le rebut, tant materiel que social, est analyse dans cette these comme motif operatoire permettant de rendre compte non seulement d'une esthetique narrative privilegiant l'exhaustivite et refusant toute selection, mais aussi d'une vision plus globale du monde et de sa possible reparation. Une premiere partie, consacree au texte de retif, analyse le processus de recuperation constamment mis en oeuvre qui substitue au principe de creation celui de production. La seconde examine le refus systematique par mercier de toute forme de recyclage du dechet, considere comme potentiellement menacant, et revele une attitude contemplative, et non reformatrice, vis-a-vis du monde. Au terme de ce travail, une confrontation des deux textes invite a une reevaluation de leur traditionnelle assimilation, et devoile sous la recuperation retivienne une attitude conservatrice, et sous le fixisme de mercier une vision plus radicale.

Abstract:

La venue de l'Internet a modifié le statut du texte, notre approche, nos méthodes de lecture et nos modalités de compréhension. En devenant numérique, le texte s'est ouvert à de nouvelles possibilités: il est devenu malléable, interactif, hyperlié et fragmentaire. De fait, une autre approche de lecture est exigée, une lecture aléatoire, saccadée, non-chronologique et hypermédiatique. Le lecteur ne parcourt plus un texte stable, mais navigue dans les eaux mouvantes composées de mots et d'animations, de vidéos et de trames sonores. Afin de rendre compte de cette réalité, l'étude suivante propose l'analyse de trois oeuvres littéraires hypermédiatiques en vue de dégager les particularités de cette littérature, mais surtout dans l'optique de cibler la manière dont le lecteur expérimente l'oeuvre par une lecture que nous qualifions de « lecture en hypermédia ». Les oeuvres du corpus, soit Perte de temps, de Julie Potvin, Principes de gravité, de Sébastien Cliche, et Inside: A Journal of Dreams, d'Andy Campbell et Judi Alston, ont été choisies en fonction de la présence d'une figure de la perte émergente, tantôt symbolisée dans la reprise d'un poème de Baudelaire, tantôt représentée par la figure du livre à l'écran. Nous verrons qu'il se dégage un imaginaire de la fin annonçant la venue d'une nouvelle pratique, la lecture à l'écran, qui s'expérimente à travers un parcours labyrinthique dont la perte est incontournable et l'oubli nécessaire, afin de comprendre le sens qui se dégage des oeuvres. ______________________________________________________________________________ MOTS-CLÉS DE L’AUTEUR : Littérature hypermédiatique, Lecture, Remédiatisation, Figure, Perte.
