Abstract:
A new species assigned to Primula section Aleuritia Duby is described and illustrated under the name P. mianyangensis G.Hao & C.M.Hu. The new species resembles P. socialis Chen & C.M.Hu in lacking a scape and having farinose leaves, but differs by its much taller stature, long-petioled leaves and larger flowers.

The study aiming to clarify the taxonomic status of Primula mazurenkoae (Aleuritia section, Primulaceae) and determining the level of its genetic divergence in relation to the morphologically close P. farinosa was carried out. To study the genetic relationships between the closely related species, ISSR analysis was performed using five primers; 23 nucleotide sequences of nrITS region were obtained; 20 of them were revealed in the present study. Genetic analyses revealed a high level of variability in natural populations of P. mazurenkoae. Here we can conclude that the level of morphological si

The contradictory results between systematic analyses and morphology-based taxonomy make taxonomy studies difficult. Furthermore, frequent introgression between closely related species of Primula can result in non-monophyletic species. In this study, the complete chloroplast genome of sixteen Primula obconica subsp. obconica individuals were assembled and compared with 84 accessions of 74 species from 21 sections of the 24 sections of the genus in China. It has been almost fifty years that the so called Bazhenov suite anomalous sections, i.e. formations distinguished by sandy-aleuritic inclusions in Bazhenov bituminous clay attract the wide range of geologists and geophysicists who circulate innumerable, often exotic assumptions concerning generation of anomalous sections. Integrated analysis of mixed geological and geophysical data on anomalous sections formation proved that the initial definition of the former as submarine landslide dislocation by K. I.
