Full textRACSER is a company dedicated to the distribution and commercialization of mass consumption products, leader in the Cajamarca region in the supply to wholesale and retail distributors of the traditional channel. Considering that the global trend is the advancement and dominance of the sector by companies that operate modern channel formats, and taking into account internal aspects of the company, there is a need to plan a strategic change to achieve the objectives set and to cope with market changes. The present work develops the strategic planning for RACSER in the next five years, in order to ensure the sustainability of the company and the achievement of the objectives that the company has in that period of time. The development of the strategic plan, after the internal and external evaluation of the current situation and the long-term objectives, raises a series of strategies among which is highlighted, the turn that the company should take towards the modern channel and marketing Direct retailer to the final consumer. In order to successfully face the challenges, which even threaten its survival in the market, RACSER must adopt geographic expansion strategies, creating and promoting a brand through products and stores of the modern channel, whose development requires significant levels of investment that are justified by the decisive moment in which the company is, that adopting the proposed strategies, it is possible to achieve a turning point and achieve long-term objectives; but if he does not take any action, he finds himself at the mercy of the new players in the sector with the greatest potential for innovation and changes in demand.

Full textThis research aims to implement the strategic planning for the dairy sector in Cajamarca based on the current situation (in which the steady growth of the market in milk and its derivatives is notorious, which involves: (a) the increased production of fresh milk to national scale as well as the consumption of milk and fresh products derived from this, because of its many benefits; and (b) relatedly, the trend of the increasing consumption of milk and dairy products, which would promote development and competitiveness at national and international levels. Thus, according to the above, it can be argued that the production of milk and dairy products has gained more importance in the development of the country, and has led to increasing Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita, and the value of our currency in the market, which has contributed to improving the national economy, therefore the attraction of new capital and development of new industries. Should it also be noted that the high concentration of dairy market in Peru, expressed in the existence of three major companies: (a) Gloria, (b) Nestlé, and (c) Laive, and the vertical integration of the dairy industry characterize the sector in the country and in the case of Cajamarca in question. In this regard, in order to achieve this objective, both an internal and external analysis of the dairy sector in Cajamarca has been made. Should it also be considered the signing of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with different countries, which facilitates the exchange and trade of different products. Finally, amidst this scenario and expressed favorable trends globally and nationally, in the specific case of Cajamarca's artisan dairy sector, although dairying in the region presents several challenges along the value chain, current supply of dairy products must be increased efficiently to supply the local market and become the best alternative for domestic consumption in order to expand the handicraft production for export.

Full textInnovation and technology are fundamental pillars for the development of markets and industries around the world, because these variables impact to the level of competitiveness of companies and in many cases determine the success of businesses, for this reason it is essential to carry out a diagnosis of the activities related to these variables to proportionally determine the level of competitiveness of the companies in their respective sectors. The main objective of this investigation work is to diagnose the activities related to innovation and technology of Peruvian companies in the retail sector, this sector has been chose for being one of the fastest growing up in Peru in the last years, representing almost 10 % of Peruvian PBI. After defining the scope and theoretical framework, the parameters and methodology of the investigation were established. The study sample is made up of 5 of the main companies in the Peruvian retail sector, of which at least one belongs to each subsector (department stores, supermarkets and home stores), the instrument to be used for the investigation was a survey on innovation in companies, prepared by the National Institute of Statistics of Spain, which was adapted to the context of Peruvian companies. One representant of each company was contacted and asked the questions of the survey, which had to be answered based on the information of their companies during the period 2017-2018, based on these responses the corresponding analyzes were made. , which were used to make the diagnosis proposed as the objective of this research. The activities related to Research and Development (R&D) are a reflection of the level of innovation that companies have in their processes, services or products, therefore the R&D section of the survey was one of the most important for the development of the objectives. As a result of the study, we can give as main conclusions that although all the surveyed companies carry out R&D activities (research and development), 80% of the companies indicated that they do not have a specific R&D area, one of the The main reasons for the aforementioned is that companies have the perception that the cost of innovating is very high, so they prefer to adapt existing innovations, either from the local or international market, before this they prefer to invest in bringing innovations that work. in their own R&D area to develop their own innovations. The trend of the surveyed companies is looking for improve their processes or products, but not to generate new products, the results reflect that 80% of the companies opted for innovations in services, especially using existing technology to improve satisfaction of your customers and be more competitive in your market.

Full textPoverty, today, is one of the main problems affecting Latin American countries, especially our country; where the poverty rate is 23.9% and the extreme poverty rate is 4.7%; hindering in this way that families count on covering their main needs of nutrition, health, education and housing. The fight against poverty remains one of the main reasons for pursuing new medium- and long- term policies; as well as the creation of effective and effective social programs that allow a systematic reduction of poverty. In our country, the JUNTOS Program is the main money transfer program for households living in poverty and extreme poverty, whose purpose is to reduce the main deficiencies and to accumulate human capital by the beneficiary families. INEI reported that in 2015, one of the poorest departments in our country is Cajamarca, where more than 50% of its population are poor. In consideration of this, we take asobject of study the Sector The Alameda that is within the district of Cajabamba, province of Cajabamba, Department of Cajamarca; With the purpose of knowing complementary actions that the users of the JUNTOS program, that contribute to the integral personal and familiar development. We propose a case study as a research model, which allows us to examine the study objective in depth. When studying the valuations, perceptions and levels of knowledge, a detailed exploration is necessary, above demonstrative or quantifiable conclusions, that allows to explain to the behaviors and customs of our significant sample. We find that the users consider that the economic incentive received is important and significant, because it meets their basic needs. They also handle key ideas in relation to the concept of education, health and identity. By meeting their basic needs, they manage to maintain aspirations of self-realization; therefore, they seek to carry out complementary activities to the co-responsibilities exercised as part of the program. Finally, we propose that at the level of social policies, social management contributes both to socio-economic strengthening and the psychosocial well-being of the population, maintaining an active and responsible participation for its development.

Full textCompanies constantly face highly diverse and complex environments seeking to maximize the value of their shares and provide the highest returns to shareholders. To do this, they develop innovative and sustainable strategies with the aim of strengthening themselves, generating value in their products and establishing solid long-term relationships with customers. In 2020, the world was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, which impacted all areas such as health, social and economic. Companies in the local market have been affected by the state of emergency that occurred in the country since March 16, which has decreased their income this year and continues to increase their expenses. This is why, for companies in the Retail sector, it is extremely important to estimate the value of their shares in the long term, with methodologies capable of guaranteeing the calculation of the fundamental value of the share, which includes their accounting figures, financial projections and strategies. The objective of this document was to determine the share price of the leading company in the sector over a 10-year horizon, applying the Discounted Cash Flow methodology. As a result, it was S / 9.34, with a potential appreciation of 29% higher than the market. This means that the leading company is a company capable of taking advantage of market opportunities thanks to its strengths and strategies.

Full textCurrently companies don’t skimp on resources when it comes to reach customers. Nowadays, thanks to the technological advance more companies opt to venture into e-commerce, because they see this business model as a source of increased sales and therefore market share. By entering into this model, companies obtain benefits such as cost reductions, expand the customer data-base, and expand into other markets. However, Peru hasn't yet been able to explore this tool to the maximum, due to the external and internal factors that influence its performance, among them Peruvian consumer distrust, internet access, and logistic channels. This research is non-experimental and has a transactional exploratory type design. Through this, it aims to obtain a greater vision regarding the growth of electronic commerce in the retail companies that operate in Peru. Also, it shows the barriers that are present in both the market and the companies taking the United States market as a model. For this, as an initial point, an in-depth interview was conducted with a specialist in electronic commerce, given his professional background and experience. Secondly, we proceeded to develop and apply surveys to 200 people who met the profile of the Peruvian consumer for this study. As a result, we consider that a contribution to highlight from this research is to be able to know the market in which retail companies in Peru currently operate. Also, to identify the strategies that are used by the United States, the elements that slow the development of e-commerce in Peru, and those that arise as alternatives for improvement.
