Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to present the importance of NGO partnerships within civil society. The idea of partnership has become a megatrend in the modern world, which seems to permeate various areas of social, economic, military and even family life. There are three main values that form the foundation of NGO partnerships in the field of security: trust, cooperation and reciprocity. Building pro-social concepts in the area of security, which will be embedded in a model based on the above-mentioned values. They are a supported search of the literature and practice of the plane for due development of new concepts, but also a place for open minds. It can therefore be concluded that the NGO acts as a bridge in the structure of the socioeconomic security system. Creating and enabling organizations to connect and enable them to achieve specific tasks and goals also creates new conditions for improving partnership networks. The organization of research work for the following text was based on the analysis of legal acts related to the objectives of sustainable development, the literature on the subject and documents resulting from the practice of economic life

Abstract:
One interesting fact to note about China’s expanding partnership network is the inclusion of many security allies of the United States. China’s partnership network (CPN) and the U.S. alliance system (UAS) are quite different in nature, with the former emphasizing economic cooperation and the latter focused on security deterrence. Due to such factors as the geographical locations of U.S. allies, strategic positions, and perceptions of external threats, China’s partnerships with U.S. allies are generally more successful in Europe than in the Asia-Pacific. Based on an analysis of the dynamics of interaction between CPN and UAS, this article categorizes their past interaction into two basic models: coexistence (both easy and hard) and confrontation. With regard to the growing uncertainties in the global economy and global politics, the interaction between CPN and UAS may either create a platform for enhanced cooperation or an arena for escalating contention among related countries. To avoid the latter scenario, China must remain prudent in expanding its partnership network, and try to strengthen mutual security reassurance with the United States and its allies through more win-win cooperation in all areas.

Abstract:
In recent years, there has been rapid growth in community–university partnerships. As part of this trend, emerging scholars, including graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, have demonstrated significant interest in being part of community-engaged research projects. However, while there is a growing body of literature on the general subject of CU partnerships, the perspective of emerging scholars is not adequately addressed. In this paper, we aim to address that gap by presenting the case of a specific partnership – one that focused on the issue of community food security – and highlighting the role played by emerging scholars. We suggest that some of the challenges and opportunities characteristic of CU work affect emerging scholars, and the partnerships in which they are involved, in unique ways. Because we view emerging scholar participation in engaged research as valuable for both researchers and community partners, we argue in favour of developing institutional spaces that can support their involvement in CU partnerships by providing opportunities to do the work, facilitating skill building and creating communities of practice.

Abstract:
Under the banner of partnership, many labor-management relationships in the U.S. have established structures for involving unions at the highest levels of the business. While no hard data are available, a significant number of partnerships have been in operation for a substantial period of time in a number of key sectors. This article assesses the staying power and significance of this development. Clearly, labor-management partnerships have great potential for improving productivity, employment security, and other outcomes of importance to the parties. However, their performance has been hampered by precipitous restructuring, leadership changes, and political pressures. Particular attention is given to union-nominated directors, a concept that could serve as a stimulus for the expansion of the partnership idea more generally.

Abstract:
This article examines the implications of Japan’s strategic partnerships with Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member-countries on its foreign aid policy. Although there were previous attempts at aligning the broad goals of Japan’s aid policy with security and defence objectives, it argues that these partnerships have increasingly led to the emergence of a securitized aid. This is because strategic partnership, as a new form of security practice in the Asia-Pacific, extends the scope of Japan’s regional cooperation to the fields of defence and security. The overall extent of Japan’s aid securitization is still minimal but prominent in terms of the aid discourse, pattern of allotments or choice of recipients and institutional structures. Despite the adoption of new development cooperation charter in 2015, the use of Japan’s ODA is still confined to non-military use which limits Tokyo’s desire to deepen its security cooperation with ASEAN partner-countries.

Abstract:
There is a continuous debate in the public space on the need for a legal framework for the partnership institute to ensure equal legal security for the family, regardless of the existence or non-existence of the legal fact of its foundation. The fundamental aspects of the debate include the insufficient regulatory framework and vulnerability of partners before the law, divergent national views on partnerships as a union between opposite-sex partners, religious beliefs condemning non-marital relationships, including the existing property issues in the context of partnerships. According to the Author of the Paper, the existing partnerships in Latvia are discriminated in favour for the marriage due to the moral views and legal aspects, as the individual living in the partnership is restricted in terms of access to information and is vulnerable in terms of property rights. For example, when an individual lives in the partnership, he or she is denied the right to be informed about the health status of the other partner and the existing liabilities in credit institutions. In cohabitation, the individual is not recognised as a member of the family of the tenant for the purpose of the Law on Residential Tenancy and the potential consequences of the partnership may be the denied right to inheritance or tenancy.Main methods used: sociological method for analysing the compliance of laws and regulations with public interests and aims.

Abstract:
This mixed methods study examined the impact of a prison–community partnership, entitled Work 2 Give. The partnership supports a program in which federally incarcerated men in Canada make items to donate to Indigenous communities. Qualitative interviews were conducted with participating men (n = 32), recipient community members (n = 29), and other prison and community stakeholders (n = 14). Selected outcomes (transfers to higher security, successful transfers to lower security, and serious institutional charges) were examined for 60 incarcerated men for whom data were available. Findings suggest that the program positively affected the men’s identities and provided opportunities for communities to help incarcerated men to heal; both sets of stakeholders see potential to strengthen the program. Whereas the emphasis has been on unidirectional donation, and the impetus for the program has been with correctional staff, findings suggest a bidirectional model with stronger feedback loops between the prison and community to support reciprocity, investment, and visibility would enhance impact. This model has broad implications for strengthening community–prison partnerships.

Abstract:
The article explores the issues of implementing public-private partnership projects in the social security system of the Kursk region. The relevance of this topic is due to the fact that public-private partnership is becoming an increasingly popular way of solving the problems of the development of a socially significant sphere in the conditions of a shortage of budget resources, where it is impossible to fulfill the set goals without attracting investments and the potential of the institution of entrepreneurship. In Russia, the relevance of public-private partnership in the social sphere is due to the low level of its development in terms of applying advanced management methods. This sector, which for many decades was the object of direct government, is experiencing today the greatest need for various resources for the implementation of the set tasks of socio-economic development. The article presents theoretical, methodological and practical approaches to reflecting the development of public-private partnership in the social security system of the region. The system of indicators that characterizes the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the social sphere of the region is analyzed. In the course of the study, specifics of the implementation of public-private partnership projects at the regional level were revealed. The analysis of the dynamics of key indicators of the social security development in the region was carried out. With the financial capacity of the public sector reduced and the private sector has the potential to effectively implement innovative technologies to solve socially important tasks to modernize the social services infrastructure aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of socially important services, it requires a combination of opportunities and efforts of the public and private sectors. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the main indicators of investment projects of public-private partnerships, suggests approaches to increase the efficiency of implementation of these projects in the Kursk region.

Abstract:
The main problem of farmers in Indonesia today is the limited availability of agricultural land. The government gives farmers hope for the availability of agricultural land, through various accesses of forest resources. One of them through a partnership with forest managers. This study will examine the model of forest resource access arrangements and their implementation in Register 45 Sungai Buaya Lampung by Moro-Moro farmers. This study uses a socio-legal approach. This approach combines the study of doctrinal law with social studies. Data required primary data and secondary data. So the analysis is not only based on normative rules but also pay attention to social context. This research shows that forest resource access management model registers 45 Lampung to Moro-Moro farmers is a partnership model. Partnerships offered by forest managers have not provided welfare security to farmers. Forest managers have unilaterally determined types of crops and production sharing balances. The partnership process closes dialogue with farmers. The implementation of this partnership has not been implemented, as most Moro-Moro farmers reject the partnership model offered by forest managers. Keywords: Forest Resources Access, Farmers, Moro-Moro.

Abstract:
The China–India border dispute has witnessed escalations recently with China making fresh claims along the disputed border and deaths of Indian military personnel. This study examines the likelihood of a strategic partnership between India and Taiwan. We begin by assessing India’s ‘Act East Policy’ and Taiwan’s ‘New Southbound Policy’ for any points of congruence between these two policies. We then propose an expected utility model of India’s decision calculus. Using the theoretical implication of the model, we then examine the likelihood of a strategic partnership along two dimensions—an economic and a defence–security partnership. This study argues that the value added by an economic strategic partnership between the two countries may be substantial, and the likelihood of such a partnership may be significant. However, the likelihood of a defence–security partnership is substantially less in the bilateral sphere, although at the multilateral level there are areas where defence cooperation can occur.

Abstract:
Pakistan’s efforts against the terrorism has entirely changed the security landscape of Pakistan. Growing waves of extremism, militancy and sectarianism emerged as a fundamental threat to the security of the state as the aftermath of 9/11. Different terrorist groups gathered under the umbrella of al-Qaeda and posed grave security challenges to the state. Although, their doctrinal philosophy and aims were stridently at contrast, but security situation compelled them to jointly chalk out a common strategy. Moreover, militants’ splinter groups with new leadership find out new source of funding which denied the upper hand of the security vanguards on them. The current paper at the first stage supplies deep analysis of the birth of various militant groups and on the next stage discusses different Jihadi, sectarian, and criminal groups’ closed nexus and their modus operandi. The outcome of the discussion shows that the benefits of marriage of convenience between the security apparatus and radical militants were less, but the impact was generational.
