Although Jesus' Last Supper probably took place on the night before Passover (as in John) rather than on the first night of Passover itself (as in the Synoptics), it contained elements strongly marked by the Jewish institution of the Passover seder (fixed order of service) and haggadah (ritual retelling of the exodus events). These elements were not, as some scholars of Judaism have recently argued, post-70 CE developments. Rather, evidence fromJubilees, Philo, and the NT itself indicates that seder and haggadah already existed in some form in the pre-70 period.

The conventional view on the origin of the gradual was stated succinctly by Peter Wagner: ‘The Responsorial solo in the mass is of apostolic origin…in imitation of the Jewish liturgy a solo from the psalmist was inserted between the readings.’ The precise form this view has taken more recently in the works of both musical and liturgical historians can be summarised as follows. The early Mass or Eucharist consisted of two major parts. The essential part, the Eucharist proper, had its origins in the Last Supper, a Jewish ceremonial meal, possibly the Passover Seder. This was preceded by a ‘service of the Word’, made up of four elements: scripture reading, discourse on the reading, congregational prayer and psalms sung in response to the readings. This pre-eucharistic service was plainly and simply an adoption en bloc of the ancient synagogue service.

Abstract:
In any form of communication it is vital that both parties can understand the same language, if they cannot a translator is required. Currently mobile users engage the service of a third party provider to translate an SMS text into a different language. The existing services have a number of drawbacks e.g. high cost to the user, not user friendly, they reduce the message space, and are inefficient. To communicate with a foreign person the sender must know the recipients preferred language and device display capability. What is needed is a service where a sender can send message in their native language without regard for the target tongue. We show that a mobile operator can provide a transparent service where the text message is automatically converted to the recipients preferred language. In comparison to the existing system, our implementation is efficient and cost effective and has large implications for commerce, language learning and person-to-person communication. A large number of services such as health care management, education, emergency notification, news, weather, and traffic reports and commerce applications can be delivered to vast mobile populations who are not able to enjoy the benefit of these services due to language barriers.

Web service is a distributed Web application model, with platform independence, openness, loose coupling and other features. These features bring convenience to application integration, which also faces many security issues, mainly for computer hardware, applications, buffer overflows, message transmission process and other security threats. XML Web services architecture strengthen the security threats defense through digital signatures, encryption, and a series of measures of WS-Security by the sender, the receiver, the key server and assertion server which consist of SOAP security with characteristics like integrity, confidentiality, etc., effectively guaranteeing the safe operation of the Web services architecture.

The custom hiring of power tiller operated seeder (PTOS) is highly profitable at farm level and service providers could improve their livelihood through this machine. The data and information on these aspects are scarce in Bangladesh. Therefore, an attempt was made to conduct this study to assess the uses pattern and the impacts of PTOS operations on service providers’ livelihood. A total of 53 service providers were randomly selected and interviewed for this study from Dinajpur and Rajbari districts. The study revealed that most respondents provided PTOS services almost throughout the year. The custom hiring of PTOS created many positive impacts on the livelihoods of the service providers. PTOS made a remarkable improvement in the livelihoods of its service providers in the study areas. The respondent service providers experienced a considerable increase in their land holdings (8.6%), annual income (63.4%), livestock resources (44%), farm equipment (20%), household assets position, and dwelling houses (42%). The increased income of beneficiaries are mostly spent on farm machinery, nutritious food, cloths, health care, education, and making of houses that indicate higher standard of riding to some extent, compared to pre PTOS service period. The service providers faced some problems like higher fuel cost, lack of riving facility, non-availability and higher price of spare parts, roller jam, and lack of trained driver. Financial support and technical assistance regarding PTOS should be made available by the government for service providers and local manufacturers for the higher adoption of PTOS in Bangladesh.Bangladesh J. This article examines the costs of switching that may exist in the European postal sector, where it is carried out an ambitious process of opening to competition since 1997. Inadequate regulation of the access to some elements of postal infrastructure or services within the scope of the universal postal service exists. This article proposes adaptations to ensure transparent and non-discriminatory access conditions to elements of postal infrastructure in line with the sectorial directives aimed at strengthening competition in the long term in the postal market. The proposed adaptations focus on services such as postcode systems, address databases, post office boxes, delivery boxes, re-direction and return to sender services. All of them can help reduce the switching cost and thus strengthen competition.

Survey response is higher when the request comes from a familiar entity compared to an unknown sender. Little is known about how sender influences response to surveys of organizations. We assessed whether familiarity of the sender influences response outcomes in a survey of emergency medical services agencies. Emergency medical services agencies in one U.S. state were randomly assigned to receive survey emails from either a familiar or unfamiliar sender. Both deployment approaches were subsequently used nationwide, with each state selecting one of the two contact methods. Experimental results showed that requests from the familiar sender achieved higher survey response (54.3%) compared to requests from the unfamiliar sender (36.9%; OR: 2.03; 95% CI: 1.23, 3.33). Similar results were observed in the subsequent nationwide survey; in states where the familiar sender deployed the survey, 62.0% of agencies responded, compared to 51.0% when the survey was sent by the unfamiliar sender (OR: 1.57; 95% CI: 1.47, 1.67). The response difference resulted in nearly 60 additional hours of staff time needed to perform telephone follow-up to nonrespondents. When surveying healthcare organizations, surveyors should recognize that it is more challenging to obtain responses without a pre-established relationship with the organizations.

Abstract:
Many businesses use email as a medium for advertising and they use emails to communicate with their customers. In the email world, the most common issue that remains unresolved even now is spamming or in other terms unsolicited bulk email. Currently, there is no common way to regulate the practices of an email sender. This proposed system is to formulate a protocol common for all the ESPs or inbox providers and a centralized system that will easily find the spammers and block them. By this method, the Email Service Providers (ESPs) or Inbox Providers need not wait for the sender behaviour and then take actions on the sender or sender domain or sender IP address. Instead, they can get the sender history of reputation from blockchain where the ESPs or Inbox Provider provides a score based on the emails they have received from the sender. The ESPs can get the Public Sender Score(S3) from the mobile application or web application which provides the score management user interface and APIs. The email marketers can also monitor their score through the application.

Research was conducted to test the effect of quality of service and facilities to the purchase decision of Soto Seger Mbok Giyem in Boyolali. Accidental sampling technique with sample research samples 100. Multiple linear regression methods. The results of the research of quality of service and facilities simultaneously effect positive and significant against the purchase decision, quality of service and facilities to the decision of each of the influential positive and significant decisions Purchase. The decision to purchase Soto Seger Mbok Giyem in Boyolali can be explained by 38.5%, while the remaining 61.5% is explained by other variables.

The location-based services can provide users with the requested location information. But users also need to disclose their current location to the location-based service provider. Therefore, how to protect user’s location privacy is a major concern. In this paper, we propose a heterogeneous deniable authenticated encryption scheme called HDAE for location-based services. The proposed scheme permits a sender in a public key infrastructure environment to transmit a message to a receiver in an identity-based environment. Our design utilizes a hybrid encryption method combing the tag-key encapsulation mechanism (tag-KEM) and the data encapsulation mechanism (DEM), which is well adopted for location-based services applications. We give how to design an HDAE scheme utilizing a heterogeneous deniable authenticated tag-KEM (HDATK) and a DEM. We also construct an HDATK scheme and provide security proof in the random oracle model. Comprehensive analysis shows that our scheme is efficient and secure. In addition, we give an application of the HDAE to a location-based services system.

A partir do objetivo inicial proposto para a fixação dos jovens no território, avançou-se para o desenho de um sistema produto-serviço, de apoio ao turismo e artesanato locais. Através da aplicação dos processos de design (pesquisa etnográfica ativa) e da análise de casos de estudo, estruturou-se um cenário de projeto para a valorização do património natural e cultural do território. Este processo permitiu a aproximação a entidades locais como os artesãos, para a concretização de um workshop colaborativo, com a proposta de novos produtos artesanais, resultando num kit.<br>This work falls in a projetual design for social innovation, in the territory of Sever do Vouga, in partnership with the Fundação Edite Costa Matos, Mão Amiga and the University of Aveiro. From the initial objective proposed, for the establishment of youth in the territory, it was draw a product-service system to support tourism and local crafts. Through the application of design processes (active ethnographic research), and analysis of case studies, structured a project scenario for the development of natural and cultural heritage of the area. This process allowed the approach to local entities such as artisans, to achieve a collaborative workshop with the proposal of new craft products, resulting in a kit.

Abstract:
This study offers two cost analyses to inform public policy decisions on the use of land and water resources. The first presents some public service costs associated with different spatial forms of land development. The second cost analysis presents costs associated with three different policy options for meeting water quality goals in Long Island Sound. <p> The objective the first analysis is to determine the cost to local governments of providing water distribution and wastewater collection services to alternative spatial forms of residential development. Components of spatial form are explicitly defined in terms of lot size, distance and tract dispersion. An engineering cost model is used to determine the water and sewer costs to three sets of hypothetical land settlement scenarios. Each set shows the effect of one component of spatial form on cost. <p> The results show that smaller lots, shorter distances between existing centers and less tract dispersion reduce public water and sewer costs. Lot size is found to have the most pronounced effect on water and sewer cost. Some policy options for reducing the public service costs associated with development are considered. <p> The objective of the second cost analysis is to analyze the cost implications of a nitrogen allowance trading system for wastewater treatment plants in Connecticut. Effluent allowance trading involves the transfer of pollution control responsibility between pollution sources. Effluent allowances are the right to discharge a given quantity of waste into the environment over a given time period. Allowance trading has been proposed as a way of reducing pollution control costs, encouraging innovative pollution prevention techniques and more quickly achieving water quality goals. <p> Long Island Sound, a major estuary in the northeastern United States, experiences chronically low dissolved oxygen levels. Excessive nitrogen loads from anthropogenic activities in the Sound watershed have been identified as the cause of the oxygen problem. The state of Connecticut is examining the possibility of introducing an effluent allowance trading system in order to reduce the cost of achieving required reductions in nitrogen discharge. A linear programming model is used to predict trading outcomes and allowance prices. The total cost of achieving a nitrogen load cap is calculated under three administrative approaches. The first approach is a uniform reduction requirement where all plants are required to reduce discharge by the same proportion. The second approach is an administrative reallocation of waste load where a regulatory agency assigns control responsibility based on the agency's understanding of relative costs. The third approach is a flexible effluent allowance trading system. The results will show that a trading program offers cost savings over traditional regulatory approaches, demonstrate the potential for further cost savings from pollution prevention activities and estimate the cost savings that would result from including nonpoint sources in the overall nitrogen reduction strategy.<br>Master of Science

Abstract:
La crisis hipertensiva es una condición clínica donde ocurre un incremento súbito en los niveles de presión arterial asociada a manifestaciones como cefalea, alteraciones visuales, vómitos y vértigo. Se realizó un estudio observacional de corte transversal, en el Servicio de Emergencia de la Clínica San Pablo Sede Norte, entre el 1º de enero y el 30 de Junio del 2003. Los datos se recolectaron de las historias clínicas de emergencia. Como resultado, se recogieron datos de 101 pacientes mayores de 18 años con elevación de presión arterial más manifestaciones clínicas de crisis hipertensivas, que representaron el 1.55 % del total de atenciones por emergencia adultos. Dos pacientes (1.98 %) cursaron con emergencia hipertensiva, cuyo cuadro clínico fue trastorno de conciencia y déficit motor (accidente cerebrovascular). El 75.24 % fueron mujeres. El 51.88 % fueron mayores de 60 años. Es importante señalar que el tratamiento administrado en emergencia fue predominantemente los Inhibidores de la Enzima Convertidora de Angiotensina con el 98.02 %. Concluye que las emergencias hipertensivas representaron el 1.98 %. El tratamiento administrado en emergencia los Inhibidores de la Enzima Convertidora de Angiotensiva (captopril) fueron los mas usados con el 98.02 %. Además, la cefalea fue la manifestación clínica mas frecuente 56.43 %.

La presente investigación, tuvo como objetivo general determinar los factores relevantes del Síndrome de Burnout que incide en el personal administrativo de la Universidad Continental con sede en la ciudad de Huancayo. Se empleó una metodología cuantitativa, básica, descriptiva y no experimental; en donde se trabajó con una muestra de 50 colaboradores administrativos y para la recolección de datos se hizo uso del conocido instrumento Maslach Burnout Inventory – Human Services Survey. Con respecto a los resultados obtenidos, estos indicaron que el cansancio al finalizar la jornada de trabajo, la frustración en el trabajo, el tratar como objetos impersonales a las personas, la insensibilidad con las personas y la poca importancia hacia lo que ocurra con los demás son los factores relevantes que inciden en mayor proporción en el personal encuestado. En consecuencia, de este análisis se obtuvo como conclusión de que existen cinco factores relevantes del Síndrome de Burnout que inciden con mayor escala en el personal administrativo y que solo algunos colaboradores presentaron Síndrome de Burnout.

Waste, that is any matter whether gaseous, liquid or solid or any combination thereof, originating from any residential, commercial or industrial area identified as undesirable or superfluous by-product, emission, residue or remainder of any process or activity tends to be a hazard to the environment. Waste is generated in all processes which transform materials from one state, form or medium to another. The management of waste in the Sedibeng District Municipality is a very complex problem. There are many reasons for this and these include: the diverse and voluminous waste stream; progressive accumulation of waste in the environment; large numbers of unpermitted waste disposal sites; the severe shortage of hazardous waste disposal sites and shortage of personnel in local municipalities qualified to implement existing legislation. The accumulation of waste in the district not only poses a serious and growing threat to health and quality of life, but also causes infrastructural damage such as the blocking of storm water drains and sewer by litter which ultimately leads to costly road and pavement destruction and increase in maintenance costs. The objective of the study was to investigate waste management activities in the Sedibeng District Municipality and to explore best practices as strategies for recommendations. The Sedibeng District Municipality comprises three local municipalities namely the Emfuleni, Lesedi and Midvaal Local Municipalities. Due to the fact that the Municipality forms part of the industrial hub of the Gauteng Province, there has been an excessive influx of the people into the district and, as a result, more houses had to be built and more normal urban services such as electricity, sanitation, water and waste, had to be provided. The study intended to investigate different waste management strategies that are employed by the three local municipalities that could help reduce the impacts and volumes of waste that are generated by residents before such waste could pollute the environment. A further objective was to explore possible waste reduction mechanisms such as recycling that can help reduce waste volumes before they reach the disposal site. Arising from the problem statement on waste management for this study, it is important that the locus of this study be directed towards the solution of the problem on waste management activities in the Sedibeng District Municipality The following hypothesis was accordingly formulated: Waste management strategies and practices as currently practised in the Sedibeng District Municipality are obsolete, outdated and inadequate to attain a cleaner environment and as a result, there is a need to explore the development of more cost effective strategies in waste management. Comparative study of the different strategies that are employed in the three local municipalities as well as the challenges they face when providing the required service, were made. Similar study was applied to the achievements that are recorded as findings of the study. The challenges and success stories highlighted in the study were found through the use of questionnaires that were distributed to respondents in the three local municipalities. Questionnaires for the study were compiled for both councilors and municipal officials. The research instruments for the study included questionnaires, interviews and consultations with members of the community. Further technique was participant observation, the researcher being responsible for the provision of refuse removal services to the Evaton and Sebokeng communities. Amongst others, it was found that: discrepancies existed in the waste management processes and these include the following: • There was a serious problem of personnel shortage in municipalities as a result of financial constraints that led to nonreplacement of personnel who went on retirement, resigned or died; • Existing equipment do not compliment the growing population figures as well as the sizes of the municipality and as a result, residents opted to dump waste at their backyards as an alternative procedure for disposal of waste from their homes, and • Problems attributed to illegal dumping increase each day and their resolution will be a function of implementation of compliance with legislation. • Community awareness of refuse collection schedule is at minimum, a situation which leads to illegal dumping of waste, and • Tariff on refuse removal is deemed to be prohibitive to African residential areas. CAPES<br>A presente pesquisa tem como tema central a análise das compras públicas realizadas na Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR) sob o prisma da Sociedade Sustentável, da Educação Tecnológica e da Ciência do Direito. O objetivo principal foi verificar se as compras da UTFPR podem ser consideradas Compras Públicas Sustentáveis, a partir das contribuições dos aspectos teóricos de direcionamento da pesquisa nomeados de Unidades de Análise. O método empregado foi o Estudo de Caso, que se baseia em pesquisa exploratória e descritiva do tipo mista (quantitativa e qualitativa). Da análise dos 507 arquivos de pregões eletrônicos realizados pela UTFPR no período escolhido, constatou-se que, dos 14.758 itens comprados, poucos traziam previsões específicas sobre a sustentabilidade. Em função destes resultados, foram propostas linhas de referência traçadas especificamente para o caso das Compras Públicas da UTFPR. A intenção foi colaborar para que esta Instituição Tecnológica de Ensino Superior possa demonstrar um comprometimento com as normas e princípios vigentes no Direito Ambiental e com a Sociedade Sustentável, o que lhe permitirá tornar-se uma referência para outras Instituições que realizem compras públicas.<br>This research focuses on the analysis of public procurements made by the Federal Technology University of Paraná (Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná - UTFPR) from the perspective of the Sustainable Society, the Technological Education and the Science of Law. The main objective was to verify by applying these guiding theoretical aspects – named herein as Analysis Units – whether UTFPR purchases can be considered as Sustainable Public Procurements. The methodology employed for it has been a case study based on a mixed type (quantitative and qualitative) exploratory and descriptive research. Based on the analysis of 507 records of electronic auctions conducted by UTFPR in the chosen period, it was found that, out of the 14,758 items purchased, very few of them contained specific references to sustainability. According to these results, reference guidelines were specifically drawn for the case of the UTFPR Public Procurements. The purpose has been to contribute to this higher education technological institution o that it can demonstrate a clear commitment with the current rules and principles of Environmental Law and the Sustainable Society, becoming a model for other institutions performing public procurement.

Asimismo, se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual del proceso, los instrumentos de gestión e informáticos que lo soportan, y los estudios que sobre la problemática identificada ha efectuado la Sunat y profesionales expertos contratados por la entidad. Los estudios mencionados revisten especial importancia ya que contienen propuestas y recomendaciones que han sido tomadas en cuenta en el diseño de la solución propuesta en el presente trabajo de investigación.

La presente investigación de tipo cuantitativo, estuvo enfocado en el estudio descriptivo, de diseño no experimental, transversal y de nivel explicativo; es así como fue abordado en la empresa de transporte Civa, en el cual se evidenciaron situaciones, como: quejas de servicio, instalaciones, atención al cliente y retrasos en los tiempos de llegada. A consecuencia, se establecieron los siguientes objetivos de estudio; El objetivo general fue determinar la influencia de la calidad del servicio al cliente en la recomendación de la empresa de Transporte Civa, sede Chiclayo- 2018. Y, los objetivos específicos fueron determinar el nivel de la calidad del servicio al cliente en la empresa de Transporte Civa, determinar el grado de recomendación en la empresa de transporte Civa, determinar la relación de las dimensiones de la calidad del servicio al cliente en la recomendación, determinar la influencia de las percepciones en las dimensiones de la calidad del servicio al cliente en la recomendación de la empresa de transporte Civa. En los resultados, se afirmó que la calidad del servicio influye considerablemente en la recomendación de la empresa Civa, dando un valor < 0.05; por otro lado, el primer objetivo específico señaló que el constructo calidad del servicio obtuvo un nivel medio (4.375) por consecuencia a las condiciones dadas; Segundo, el NPS fue negativo 45.55% impidiendo las recomendaciones a su entorno; Tercero, se obtuvo altos índices de correlación de fuerte y muy fuerte entre las dimensiones de la calidad del servicio en la recomendación; y, finalmente, las percepciones en las dimensiones de comodidad (0.01) y personal (0.01) influyeron en la recomendación de la empresa Civa.

Limited information exists about enrollment in Part D prescription coverage by Medicare beneficiaries with cancer. Part D coverage may increase access to medicines. This study evaluated patterns of Part D uptake and costs and assessed the effects of coverage on hospitalizations and emergency department (ED) use among people with colorectal cancer (CRC). We analyzed Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER)–Medicare linked data on fee-for-service (FFS) Medicare beneficiaries with at least 36 months of follow-up who were diagnosed with CRC at any point from January 2007 through December 2010, and a matched cohort of beneficiaries without cancer. Dual (Medicare/Medicaid) enrollees were excluded because they are automatically enrolled in Part D. Among beneficiaries with CRC (n=12,774), 39 percent had complete Part D coverage, defined as coverage in the diagnosis year and 2 subsequent years; the rate was 38 percent in the matched comparison cohort (P=.119). Among those with complete Part D coverage, there was no significant difference in annual prescription drug costs between people with CRC ($3,157, 95% confidence interval [CI]: $3,098–$3,216) and without ($3,113, 95% CI: $3,054–$3,172). Among people with CRC, odds of ED use ranged from unchanged to marginally higher for those with no or partial Part D coverage, (adjusted odds ratio: 1.09, 95% CI: 1.00–1.18), compared with those with complete Part D coverage. Lack of continuous Part D coverage was associated with more ED use among Medicare FFS beneficiaries with CRC in 2007–2013. Among people with Part D coverage, prescription drug costs varied little between those with CRC and matched beneficiaries without cancer.
