Bumble bees (Bombus spp.: Apidae) are valuable pollinators of many crop and wildflower species. However, in some situations their potential is limited. Food provides human beings with a connection to the natural world. This research helps to illustrate the interconnectivity of food and of the food movement as it relates to so many other social, ecological and cultural movements. I examined the works of four authors communicating important messages about our food; where is comes from, how it is grown, and what we need to change about our food habits. This research also asks: what are the implications of the food movement for environmental education and communication; have these authors discussed the implications of our food choices in a meanin

<br>In this thesis I use Chinese Twins Data to identify the roles of

Urbanization, the mobility of industrial population, and the emergence of new classes are all the result of this great change. Agriculture has been replaced with manufacturing industry and commerce as the driving force of economic development, which eventually and inevitably affected the political development of the United Kingdom. Spiritual organizations have historically played an important role in social and civil movements (Aminzade & Perry 2007). This research is one investigation of how spiritual organizations may benefit sustainability initiatives and contribute to increased community resilience. Based on a case study of the Transition Towns movement in the United Kingdom, the research also addresses how to minimize anticipated and actual pitfalls of spiritual organization involvement. Research was conducted through the use of semi-structured telephone interviews with key-informants within Transition Towns in t
