Abstract:
L'objectif de cette recherche était de démontrer que la SEGPA est à la fois un lien de socialisation et en même temps un lieu de relégation consenti par les agents sociaux. Pour cela, il nous a fallu comprendre comment s'est structuré le champ de l'enfance inadaptée. Qui sont les enseignants qui y enseignent ? Quelles sont leurs trajectoires ? Ce champ s'est considérablement modifié depuis vingt ans. Les observations et les entretiens ont permis de mettre au jour les enjeux qui se jouent au quotidien entre les enseignants spécialisés et les autres, entre les enseignants et les élèves, entre les élèves et les élèves. Il s'avère que les mécanismes sociaux l'emportent bien souvent sur le pédagogique, au détriment de tous les acteurs, et ce, en raison du poids historique et institutionnel.

En 1791, Condorcet place l'autodidaxie au coeur de son projet d'instruction. Il souhaite donner à chaque citoyen, et en particulier à ceux qui n'ont pas la chance de naître dans un milieu aisé, les moyens de s'instruire par soi-même. L'autodidaxie s'inscrit chez Condorcet dans une triple visée : compensatoire, émancipatoire et autonomisante. L'école doit apprendre à apprendre à se former tout au long de la vie. L'autodidaxie nécessite un apprentissage et le maître doit être un accompagnateur de ce processus. Malheureusement, son projet n'aboutit pas.Quelque deux siècles plus tard, l'autodidaxie est remise au goût du jour et invoquée comme nécessité pour s'adapter en permanence à notre société contemporaine où les savoirs sont devenus un enjeu socio-économique important et pour répondre au contexte de crise des institutions éducatives.Cette thèse est le résultat d'une expérience pédagogique menée durant six années, au collège Evire, en Haute-Savoie. Elle se propose d'explorer les effets d'une pédagogie autogestionnaire visant à favoriser une posture autodidacte chez des élèves en grande difficulté et en échec scolaire, orientés au collège en classe de SEGPA. L'autogestion est alors conçue comme un dispositif pédagogique cherchant à concrétiser les orientations de Condorcet. Cette étude de l'autodidaxie en milieu scolaire a permis de mettre en lumière les richesses et les limites d'une telle pédagogie en fonction des dispositifs institués ou instituants et des modalités d'accompagnement.Mots-clés

He wishes to give every citizen, and in particular to those who are not lucky enough to be born in wealthy families, the means to educate by oneself. For Condorcet, self-directed learning has a triple aim: compensatory, emancipatory and empowering. The school must teach to learn how to educate oneself throughout life. Self-directed learning requires a learning process and the schoolmaster has to be a guide to this process. Unfortunately, his project does not succeed.Some two centuries later, the self-directed learning is being brought up to date and cited as a need to constantly adapt to contemporary society in which knowledge has become an important socio-economic issue as well as a need to respond to the crisis of educational institutions.This thesis is the outcome of an educational experiment that has been conducted for six years in Evire middle school, Haute-Savoie. It will explore the effects of self-education to promote self-taught posture among pupils who are struggling and whose counselling is targeted to secondary school SEGPA classes. Self-directed learning is conceived as an educational device embodying the guidance of Condorcet. The study of self-directed learning in schools has helped to highlight the richness and limitations of such a pedagogy depending on established or establishing plans and ways of supporting them

La question des difficultés que rencontrent les élèves de SEGPA face à l'écriture reste une préoccupation récurrente de l'enseignement/apprentissage dans le secteur spécialisé. Dans une optique du comprendre pour agir ensuite, la recherche engagée vise à établir un "état des lieux" de l'écriture et du rapport à l'écriture des élèves à partir de textes en réponse à des consignes se rapportant à une écriture sur soi et à une écriture de fiction, un questionnaire sur l'écriture et l'oral des entretiens. Afin de cerner au mieux l'insécurité scripturale des élèves, sont prises en compte dans une analyse croisée, la thématique des écrits, leur organisation textuelle, leur construction énonciative et leur matérialité dans la graphie et son support. Les résultats permettent d'entamer une réflexion concernant quelques propositions didactiques en vue d'une remédiation de l'écriture

Cette thèse questionne l'enseignement de la proportionnalité à des élèves de 11 à 16 ans relevant de l'adaptation scolaire et de la scolarisation des élèves handicapés. Les travaux de didactique des mathématiques ont montré l'inaboutissement fréquent du projet d'appropriation de la proportionnalité auprès des élèves jusqu'au collège, et tout particulièrement en ASH. Afin de savoir si une adaptation peut se faire sans dénaturer le savoir, nous proposons donc une progression sur l'enseignement de la proportionnalité en classe de Quatrième SEGPA. Nous insistons sur l'importance de l'organisation des savoirs au sein de cette progression et sur la pertinence des contextes et des valeurs des variables didactiques numériques. Les analyses de nos observations se font dans le cadre de l'analyse statistique implicative, de la Théorie des Situations Didactiques ainsi que de la double approche utilisée dans l'analyse des pratiques des enseignants. La mise en œuvre de la progression construite nécessite pour les enseignants des connaissances mathématiques. Afin de réactiver ces connaissances, nous proposons des représentations symboliques qui illustrent les techniques de résolution de problèmes relevant de la proportionnalité simple.

In order to find out if an adjustment can be made without any impact on the knowledge requirements, we experimented a teaching plan concerning the learning of proportionality by children with special-needs in the context of our study. We insist on the importance of the organization of the different types of knowledge within this teaching plan and also on the relevance of backgrounds and values of numerical didactical parameters. Analysis of our observations is carried out with statistical implicative analysis, Theory of Didactical Situations and with the frame of the double approach used to analyse the practices of teachers.The implementation of such a teaching plan requires, for teachers, mathematical knowledge. In order to reactivate this knowledge, we propose a symbolic scheme for each resolving technique applied to problems involving direct proportionality

Abstract:
La réclusion n'est pas le reflet d'une nature mais le résultat d'une histoire, le terme (provisoire) d'un parcours fait d'échecs et de dévalorisations. L'élève reclus a pour principal horizon l'école. Au fur et à mesure de la scolarité, la tension entre les exigences de l'école et l'incapacité d'y répondre lui fait rejeter ce monde qui l'a toujours dévalorisé. Il s'est résigné, démobilisé, comme enfermé sur lui-même. S'il n'espère plus rien c'est d'une certaine manière qu'il est désespéré de lui-même. Bien que source de souffrance et de dévalorisation, en risque de marginalisation, coincé entre un présent dont il ne perçoit pas les enjeux et un avenir qui lui paraît brouillé, il attend sans vraiment savoir ce qu'il attend. La caractéristique essentielle de cette situation est le sentiment de ne plus avoir de prise sur le cours des choses. Les enquêtes effectuées auprès des collèges de Moselle accueillant des structures d'insertion (3ème d'insertion, SEGPA) puis au sein de deux lycées professionnels nous montrent que les histoires familiales et personnelles de nombre d'élèves contribuent bien souvent à développer chez eux une attitude de reclus, encouragés par des pairs ou des proches qui ont décodé, eux aussi, l'école à travers les souffrances qu'elle leur a infligé. L'alternance s'est progressivement mise en place pour répondre à la problématique de l'échec scolaire mais en montre cependant les limites. Notre proposition pédagogique s'est attachée à substituer au modèle classique école/entreprise un modèle ternaire école/entreprise/société. Ce n'est pas un dispositif de plus mais une nouvelle organisation de l'année scolaire. Certes, il convient toujours d'articuler plusieurs lieux et plusieurs modalités d'apprentissage mais d'une manière plus soutenue, de donner un peu plus de rythme, de scander de manière plus énergique le temps métissé de la formation académique et professionnelle<br>Unavailable

Depuis plusieurs années, l'Education Nationale a donné une place significative à l'éducation à la santé - et notamment à la sexualité - parmi les missions assignées à ses personnels. Cependant les textes et la volonté politique ne suffisent pas toujours à la conduite des actions. Notre étude a tenté d'approfondir la connaissance des représentations et des pratiques pédagogiques des acteurs et d'identifier les obstacles à la généralisation de l'éducation à la sexualité dans les classes de 3e et 4e Segpa, structures de collège accueillant des élèves en grandes difficultés scolaires. La méthodologie de recherche a été baséee sur la conduite de questionnaires et d'entretiens pour les personnels de santé, de direction et enseignants de Segpa. Ensuite les contenus des manuels scolaires de Sciences de la Vie et de la Terre abordant la sexualité ont été analysés. Enfin, plus de 250 élèves de 4e et 3e Segpa ont été interrogés par questionnaire. L'influence des représentations en matière d'éducation à la sexualité, les pratiques pédagogiques centrées principalement autour d'informations biophysiologiques au détriment des compétences psychosociales, le partenariat encore insuffisant, le besoin de formation des personnels, la carence dans la mise en place des CESC, la résistance de certains personnels de l'Education Nationale apparaissent encore comme des obstacles à la mise en oeuvre d'une éducation à la sexualité, malgré les attentes des élèves.

However changing policy and establishing new directives is not alwaysenough to generate new actions. This study attempts to improve our understanding ofthe representations and the teaching practices of stakeholders involved in sexeducation, and to identify factors impeding the implementation of sex education in 8thand 9th grade pupils of SEGPA classes, i.e. classes adapted for children with learningdisabilities in middle-schools. Questionnaires and interviews were applied to schoolmedical staff, to members of the direction, and to SEGPA teachers, the sex educationcontents textbooks were analysed, and a questionnaire was applied to more than 2508th and 9th grade pupils of SEGPA classes. Our findings indicate that in spite of pupilexpectations regarding sex education, many factors limit effective implementation ofsex education : the representations that educational staff have of sex education,teaching practices centred on transmitting biophysical information while more or lessneglecting the development of psychosocial competencies, the lack of training in sexeducation, the ineffective or non-implementation of Health and Citizenship EducationCommittees (CESC) in schools, and the reluctance of some educational staff toimplement sex education

Depuis 50 ans, l’Ecole a profondément changé dans les discours et dans les pratiques des enseignants. Pourtant, elle ne parvient pas à modifier sensiblement l’inégalité d’accès et de réussite des élèves issus des classes populaires. Nous interrogeons ce « changement nul ». L’étude porte sur les discours noosphériens. Elle montre qu’une rupture est survenue au tournant des années 1990. La désignation des élèves en échec et les formes de régulation préconisées pour lutter contre les inégalités scolaires sont marquées par une focalisation sur les individus, leurs mécanismes mentaux, leurs aptitudes et leurs attitudes. La notion « d’élève en difficulté » est convoquée pour l’occasion, elle se conjugue avec des injonctions à recourir à une individualisation de l’enseignement. Un questionnaire et des entretiens réalisés auprès d’enseignants de S.E.G.P.A. montrent que l’idéologie mentaliste à l’œuvre dans les discours noosphériens percole chez les enseignants. Les élèves de S.E.G.P.A. sont ainsi caractérisés par des « spécificités » cognitives censées avoir une valeur explicative à leur échec. Pourtant, cette « hypothèse des spécificités » ne se vérifie pas à l’étude des résultats de ces élèves aux évaluations nationales. L’étude porte sur les pratiques de huit professeurs de mathématiques en S.E.G.P.A. Deux styles d’enseignement contrastés sont définis : un style « magistral » et un métacognitif. Ces deux styles apparamment différents se ressemblent in fine quant aux conditions de la dévolution aux élèves d’une recherche mathématique. L’Arrière-plan dualiste qui les soutient contribue à faire porter sur les élèves seuls la responsabilité de la signification des règles mathématiques enseignées, sans que soient pensées les conditions didactiques qui en permettraient l’efficience. Les professeurs ne peuvent plus considérer ces conditions. Il en ressort une « cécité didactique », directement conséquente de l’impact de l’idéologie mentaliste sur les représentations professorales. La thèse avance l’hypothèse que cette cécité pourrait expliquer en partie la persistance des inégalités scolaires<br>Since 50 years, school has deeply changed in discourses and teaching practices. Nevertheless, she doesn’t succeed in changing the access and success inequality of lower-class pupils. We question this “useless change”. This study is about academic discourses. We show that a break happened around the 90’s. The focus on the individuals, their mental mechanisms, their capacities and attitudes signed a new way to name pupils in defeat and the types of regulation recommended in fighting against school inequalities. The notion of “pupil in difficulties” appeared, as well as orders to individualize teaching. A questionnaire and interviews with teachers working in adapted teaching classrooms show that an ideology we call “mentalist” comes over academic discourses and teacher’s minds. The “pupils in difficulties” are characterized by cognitive “specificities” which are supposed to explain their failures. Nevertheless, this “hypothesis of specificities” is wrong considering our studies of results these pupils get in national tests. The study is also about eight mathematics teacher’s practices in adapted teaching classroom. We define two types of teaching very different: a “traditional type” and a “meta-cognitive type”. These two types, apparently so different, are finally very similar considering the conditions of devolution of knowledge to pupils during a mathematic research. These two types take sense in a same dualist Background which makes only the pupils responsible of the mathematics rules comprehension, and totally forgets the didactics conditions. Teachers can’t consider these conditions: we call this fact “didactic blindness”. This blindness could explain school inequalities

Notre travail de thèse cherche à comprendre le fonctionnement et les enjeux des rapports à la culture scripturale scolaire des élèves de SEGPA. Pour cela, il met en exergue les caractéristiques culturelles pratico-orales des élèves de SEGPA et les confronte à celles de la culture écrite de l'école. Il s'appuie sur le corpus théorique élaboré ces trente dernières années et sur les représentations des élèves recueillies à partir d'interviews. Ainsi, il met en relief les différences, les espaces d'opposition et les possibilités d'articulation entre les deux modèles culturels. Il établit ensuite un exemple de pratique pédagogique qui a pour objectif d'articuler les normes et valeurs scripturales scolaires et pratico-orales : il s'agit d'une activité de lecture par des élèves de SEGPA à des élèves de grande section de maternelle<br>The aim of our thesis is to understand how the relationships of SEGPA pupils towards written school culture operate and what are the stokes in them. For that purpose, we will bring up what the fealures of these pupils oral culture transmitted in school. It relies on the theorical corpus elaborated during the past thirty years, and on the pupils representations collected among them throuhout interviews. Thus, we enhance the differences, oppositions and articulations that can be possible between these two cultural patterns. We settle thereafter an example of a pedagogical practice whose objective is ti articulate the norms and values inherent in these two patterns : story telling from SEGPA pupils to last year nursery school children

Abstract:
Notre thèse vise à étudier expérimentalement les effets de différents types de situations conversationnelles de co-résolution de problèmes sur les activités cognitives d'élèves de S.E.G.P.A. en grande difficulté scolaire (Section Enseignement Général Professionnel Adapté). Elle s'inscrit dans une approche socio-constructiviste du fonctionnement et du développement du système cognitif et prend appui sur la thèse vygotskienne postulant l'origine sociale des processus mentaux supérieurs et sur les travaux s'en réclamant, attestant que les interactions et les significations de la tâche et/ou du contexte favorisent le fonctionnement et le développement des activités mentales supérieures. Trois expérimentations ont été réalisées, mettant les participants dans des situations de résolution de problèmes selon plusieurs types de contextes interactifs : face à face, au téléphone, en vidéoconférence, via une messagerie instantanée (MSN), et en individuel. Les résultats mettent en évidence l'intérêt du travail en dyade et font apparaître des différences quant aux performances, au temps de résolution, au nombre et la nature des actes de communication lors de la co-résolution. L'analyse des échanges au moyen de l'analyse interlocutoire valide la thèse selon laquelle les deux fonctions (communicative et significative) des médiations sémiotiques s'accomplissent en même temps lors des transactions conversationnelles pour construire l'intersubjectivité, et sont appropriées par les partenaires pour (ré)organiser les systèmes cognitifs individuels<br>Our thesis aims at study experimentally the effects of various types of conversational situations of co-resolution of problems on cognitive activities upon teenagers attending the “college” and in great school difficulty. It falls under a socio-constructivist approach of functioning and development of the cognitive system, and takes support on the vygotskian thesis postulating a social origin of higher mental processes and on researches supporting it, stating that the interactions and the significance of the task and/or the context can promote the functioning and development of higher mental activities. Three experiments were organized. Participants had to solve problems according to several types of interactive contexts: face to face, on the telephone, in videoconferencing, via instant messaging (MSN), and individually. The results highlight the interest of working in dyad and reveal differences as for the performance, the time of resolution of the task, the number and the nature of communication acts carried out during the co-resolution. The interlocutory analysis of the exchanges validates the thesis that the two functions (communicative and significant) of the semiotic mediations are achieved simultaneously within transactions to build the intersubjectivity, and are appropriate by partners to (re)organize their own cognitive system. The differences observed can also allow to give some guidelines of work on the development of devices of teaching and learning with “college” students with learning difficulties or not

Humberto Serpa (n. em 1943) formou-se em arquitetura no ano de 1966 e em urbanismo em 1967 pela Escola de Arquitetura da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (EAUFMG). Apesar do reconhecimento unânime de seus pares, arquitetos e artistas, é um arquiteto mineiro quase desconhecido para a história da arquitetura brasileira. Esta dissertação busca identificar e qualificar toda a obra realizada por esse profissional entre o final da década de 1960 até meados da década de 1990, a partir de documentação levantada em seu arquivo. É a primeira sistematização de fôlego desenvolvida sobre seu trabalho. Sua trajetória profissional e os projetos arquitetônicos são apresentados em ordem cronológica de forma a favorecer o entendimento de sua produção e de seu percurso no contexto da arquitetura de Minas Gerais na segunda metade do século 20.<br>Humberto Serpa (b. 1943) graduated in architecture in 1966 and urbanism in 1967 by the School of Architecture, Federal University of Minas Gerais (EAUFMG). Finance and Economics are one of the most important elements in the development of nations. Dealing with finances and economies banking industry is the solely dominating industry especially during the 20th century. Along with the development of banking industry, information technology was also emerged and started collaboration with this sector. Moreover, banks shifted all their operations over the network; furthermore, networks and telecommunications were enhanced more. They started offering banking services to its clients by using cloud computing (virtualization). After the introduction of Euro by the EU, a project came into existence called Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA). SEPA is an EU project which is an initiative towards the integration and uniform way of payments and bank transfers within the EU region. Our research project is a part of providing web services to clients in a Secure SEPA banking system. Our research focuses on developing SEPA banking web services for clients. We have developed infrastructure for SEPA banking services. Web clients are going to access the main portal by registering themselves. After registration, a client will create bank account. Bank account will have basic credentials of the client including account number and PIN number. Furthermore, account number and PIN number can be used to check account balance; client can perform transactions and convert the respective currency into Euros. All financial transactions should be dealt in Euros; this is one of the main purposes of our SEPA research project. In the second part of our research, some activities have been performed with Point of Interactin(POI) devices. POI device is communicating with the banking system through wireless or GPRS protocols; client will use SEPA smart card. Smart card will be swapped in the POI device; device will detect the smart card data and will interact with the SEPA system. Smart card data contain client’s credentials, such as amount in the bank account, 16 digit card number, and cash in, cash out in the account, card expiry date etc. The final portion, detecting the smart card data, is left for future work.

<p>Vi har i detta arbete valt att djupintervjua en erfaren lärare och ta del av dennes livsberättelse. Den lärarforskning som bedrivits har i många fall fokuserat endast på lärarens praktiska arbete. För att förstå undervisningen till fullo, är det av vikt att också veta någonting om personen bakom arbetet, detta med tanke på att en persons erfarenheter sätter prägel på undervisningen. Vårt syfte med detta arbete har varit att genom livshistoriemetoden få förståelse för vilka avgörande händelser (så kallade critical incidents) som påverkat en lärare under dennes lärargärning. För att uppnå vårt syfte har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats, där vi valt att observera och intervjua den berörda läraren. Våra observationer och intervjuer mynnade ut i en livsberättelse, vilken bland annat visade på att det finns många faktorer en lärare har att förhålla sig till. Ibland uppstår ett glapp mellan de som är ålagda att utföra ett uppdrag och beslutsfattare. Genom att ta del av och dra nytta av lärares erfarenheter skulle detta glapp kunna överbryggas.</p>

The tropics are host to incredible insect diversity. One of the most charismatic groups that exhibit this diversity are the butterflies. Despite the tropical butterfly fauna being heavily researched, there remains much hidden diversity in the form of undescribed life histories and cryptic species. This is especially true among the species rich Nymphalidae, the brush-footed butterflies. Species in the genus Adelpha are known to be “the most trying taxonomically of all nymphalids” DeVries (1987), and as such are fruitful ground for uncovering unknown diversity. About half of the species within Adelpha have undescribed life histories, while A. serpa stands out within the genus in having remarkably wide host breadth, and thus potentially harbors cryptic diversity. Here we describe the life histories of two species of Adelpha from Costa Rica, and use an integrative approach to clarify species level boundaries within the Adelpha serpa-group. We conclude that A. serpa does not show significant evidence of harboring cryptic species, and appears to be a geographically widespread species and a hostplant generalist. Three additional species within the serpa-group show strong evidence of harboring cryptic species, and further research should be done to clarify these species relationships.

Contexto: O fenómeno envelhecimento acentuará os problemas de dependência dos idosos e consequentemente a necessidade de cuidados informais, porém o ato de cuidar pode condicionar a qualidade de vida dos cuidadores informais. Objetivos: Promover a capacitação e empoderamento dos cuidadores informais de idosos no domicílio, para a promoção do autocuidado e melhoria da Qualidade de Vida. Metodologia: Recorreu-se à metodologia do planeamento em saúde e como referencial teórico à Teoria de Déficit de Autocuidado de Orem. Resultados: Após o diagnóstico da situação constatou-se que os cuidadores informais apresentam déficit de autocuidado sendo evidente a necessidade de participação social. Conclusão: Através de intervenções de promoção da saúde a nível pessoal, de grupos e organizacionais desenvolveram-se ambientes favoráveis à capacitação dos cuidadores informais; ABSTRACT: "Serpa Promotes the Quality of Life of Informal Caregivers!" This study aimed to contribute to the promotion of the Quality of Life of Informal Caregivers of the elderly at home. Methodology: The methodology of health planning was used as a theoretical reference to Orem's Self-Care Deficit Theory. Results: After the diagnosis of the situation it was verified that informal caregivers present a deficit of self-care, evidencing the need for social participation. Conclusion: Through health promotion interventions at a personal, group and organizational level, environments favorable to the training of informal caregivers were developed.

Baseado no trabalho seminal de Burns (1978) sobre liderança transformacional, Bass (1985) desenvolveu um modelo de liderança transformacional e transacional referido como “full range leadership model”. Os líderes transformacionais articulam uma visão apelativa e uma missão para as suas organizações, através do empowerment dos seus seguidores, encorajam-nos a desenvolver plenamente o seu potencial, possibilitando contributos mais valiosos para a organização. Usando o modelo de Bass, este estudo investigou como os estilos de liderança evidenciados por cinco líderes de escolas do Concelho de Serpa se relacionam com os resultados da liderança (esforço extra, eficácia e satisfação). Os professores avaliaram os seus líderes preenchendo o Questionário Multifatorial de Liderança (Avolio & Bass, 2004). Apesar da existência de algumas limitações neste estudo, como a dependência das perceções dos professores, os resultados mostram que a liderança transformacional apresenta uma correlação positiva com os resultados; a transacional evidencia uma menor correlação, sendo essa correlação negativa para os comportamentos passivos/recusa. Adicionalmente, os líderes avaliaram-se mais positivamente do que os seus professores em todas as escalas do MLQ. Os líderes de género feminino demonstram comportamentos mais transformacionais do que os de género masculino. /ABSTRACT - Based on Burns’s seminal work (1978) on transformational leadership, Bass (1985) developed a model of transformational and transactional leadership referred to as 'full range leadership model Transformational leaders establish an appealing vision and a mission for their organizations, by empowering their followers, encourage them to develop their full potential and thereby contribute more capably to their organization, Using Bass’s model, our study has investigated the relationship between leadership styles in five schools of Serpa County and leadership outcomes (extra effort, effectiveness and satisfaction). The teachers from these schools have evaluated their school leaders by completing the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (Avolio & Bass, 2004). Although we are aware of some limitations of our study, such as the reliance on teacher’s perceptions, the results have shown that a transformational leadership style correlates positively with leadership outcomes; and that a transactional leadership shows a less positive one and a negative correlation with the passive/avoidance behaviours. Additionally, leaders have rated themselves more positively in all MLQ scales, than their teachers did. Female leaders have revealed more transformational behaviours than male leaders.

Due to Information Technology (IT) the world has become a global village. We can get information from anywhere on a single click. IT in banking sector connects banks with each other based on their location. Everyone in global world wants a quick response to any query they make. In Eurozone, within each country, banks are centralized and work very well at a national level. Problem arises when they do transactions outside the country, convert money to other currency, charge bank fee, the time it takes to complete the transaction, and much more. Business committee and ordinary person suffer because they want transactions to be completed within few minutes. Research is carried out on how to solve this issue. European Union took initiative to remove barriers, implement one currency system and connect member states. For this purpose EU launched a Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) system to facilities people and businessman. Our project focuses on development of such infrastructure, where we can provide solution for their problem. After initial study of this area, we found module for secure server in SEPA system. Therefore we configure appropriate servers, setup connections between them for communication with basic security. After implemen tation of secure server’s platform together with other applications, we developed solution of cross-border transactions named SEPA secure banking, which is our area for banking system. We provide secure communications between SEPA servers in a SEPA secure banking system.

The masters thesis Payments and position of SEPA payments in payment systems deals with the transition of the national payment system to SEPA payment instruments in the Czech Republic, which is coming into force this year. Banks will have to fulfil requirement of interoperability and will have to be able to proceed payments in XML form. The theoretical part defines payments by the payment form and territorial payments in the first chapter. In the 2nd chapter, the legal framework with focus on new legislation affecting the completion and implementation of the SEPA requirements is described. The following two chapters are devoted to payment systems in the Czech Republic, European Union and telecommunication network SWIFT. The 5th chapter discusses about the SEPA project, with the main emphasis on the definition of SEPA instruments. The practical part is dedicated to analysis of foreign payment fees in selected banks with a focus on individuals.

Äventyr, värme och omväxling i livet var några av de anledningar som bidrog till att människor sökte sig till sjöss. Verkligheten såg annorlunda ut då än vad det har kommit till att bli idag. Förr gjordes fler världsomseglingar med fartyg och rederier med svenskt flagg och det spenderades mer tid till kaj. Syftet med detta arbete var att skapa en typ av “handbok”, som beskriver de rättigheter en sjöman kan förvänta sig vid en anställning på utlandsflaggat fartyg som seglar med ett Marine Labour Convention (MLC) avtal. Fokus har legat vid försäkringar, pensioner och social säkerhet. Med en kvalitativ datainsamlingsmetod sågs det till att all insamlad empiri blev noga undersökt vilket gjort arbetet objektivt. Slutsatsen blev således att en sjöman som är skriven i Sverige, mönstrar på ett utlandsflaggat fartyg, med en vilja att flytta utomlands till Kroatien som exempel, kommer till att får mer i lön och betala betydligt mindre i skatt, samtidigt som förmånerna i Sverige nästintill blir detsamma.<br>Adventure, warmth and change of atmosphere are the reason why many went to sea in the past. Unfortunately, the reality is different today, the ships and shipping companies that sail with the Swedish flag do few world voyages and with little time alongside. The purpose of this study is to create a type of "handbook". The handbook will examine what the minimum rights for a sailor are when sailing onboard a foreign-flagged ship sailing under the MLC agreement. It will also have covered moving abroad, insurances, pensions and social securities. With a qualitative data collection method, it was ensured that all collected empirical material was carefully examined which made this study objective. The conclusion is that a Swedish seafarer residing in Sweden that wants to sign on a foreign-flagged ship with an MLC agreement and is willing to become a Croatian resident and move to Croatia then the seafarer will most likely have a higher salary, have to pay significantly lower taxes and get almost all the same benefits as in Sweden.

Para além disso, a vigilância é uma actividade inerentemente móvel, havendo, assim, espaço para estudar a aplicação de novos dispositivos computacionais no acompanhamento do profissional para facilitar a aquisição de dados, e organização e comunicação destes. Partindo da realidade do campus da Universidade de Aveiro e procedimentos associados, este trabalho procurou introduzir melhorias processuais nas actividades de vigilância e sua gestão. No novo processo de trabalho, os vigilantes utilizam um módulo móvel para navegar nos mapas de uma organização e registar, no ponto de observação, os incidentes, podendo extender o relato com elementos multimédia. Durante a execução das rondas, é possível, centralmente, observar o posicionamento dos Vigilantes e obter, de forma quase imediata, os resultados das rondas. Os incidentes são imediatamente encaminhados para os pontos de serviço da instituição, que têm a responsabilidade de tomar acções subsequentes, eliminando a necessidade de execução de um processo moroso de triagem actual. O sistema desenvolvido incorpora vistas orientadas por mapas, e integra-se com o Sistema de Informação Geográfica central para obter mapas e informações das entidades espaciais. ABSTRACT: Surveillance personnel need to report a wide range of incidents during their watches, which are mostly recorded on paper. This seriously hinders processing and archiving of such incidents for future analysis. The mobile nature of surveillance tasks presents an opportunity to study the introduction of mobile devices to assist in data acquisition, communication and organization, thus improving the quality of the data produced by the surveillance service. Using the Universidade de Aveiro and its associated surveillance procedures as a source of requirements, this project aims at improving the existing workflow and providing an incident handling system, thus enabling easy access to data. In the proposed workflow process, watchmen use a mobile device to report incidents, instead of paper. This mobile device allows the user to view maps and previously reported incidents, and to extend the incident facts with multimedia data. While watchmen carry out their watches, it is possible to centrally supervise their progress and current location in near real-time. In addition, reported incidents are immediately routed to their designated service points, where these incidents will be handled. The designed system supports map visualization, and integrates with the organization’s Geographic Information System to obtain spatial data and maps.

“Sem resumo feito pelo autor” - A Região Alentejo é um território com forte identidade, onde se manifestam múltiplas marcas culturais, resultado dos cruzamentos de povos e culturas, onde a sua beleza e sua tranquilidade é encontrada na cálida planície, rica de quietude marcada pelas cores do casario e das paisagens, mas condenada ao insucesso intemporal. Uma Região muito diferente, mas igual a muitas que o desenvolvimento nas sociedades marginalizou, resultado de um paradigma de desenvolvimento (Paradigma Funcionalista), que emergiu com a Revolução Industrial e que se arrasta até aos nossos dias, que contribuiu para uma nova forma de pensar, não podendo deixar de ser referenciada. Com este paradigma surge a ideia de que a base económica é a pedra basilar da actividade humana, levando a reduzir o desenvolvimento ao conceito de crescimento económico, o que resulta na utilização excessiva de indicadores económicos como indices de desenvolvimento. O desejo desse crescimento económico vem provocar uma valorização pela quantidade, em relação á qualidade. Esta ideia direccionada pela quantidade conjuntamente com a valorização do crescimento económico, veio trazer à mente de todos que, para fazer desenvolvimento é necessário passar pelo sector industrial e todo um conjunto de novas tecnologias, desvalorizando-se outros sectores de actividade, como o da agricultura e pecuária. Inicia-se a valorização tecnológica, passando a reger os nossos ritmos e gestos e a substituir o ser humano na lista dos factores fundamentais do desenvolvimento. Dá-se então início ao mito do racionalismo, pois a valorização pelo tecnológico, vai marginalizar outras formas de conhecimento e de vida, como a afectividade, que de certa forma acaba por levar ao individualismo, este como suporte de sucesso, eixo de competitividade e palco de afirmação. Com este novo tipo de produção (produção em série e valorização do quantitativo) é necessário criar novas necessidades e vícios de consumo para dar resposta à quantidade produzida, criando-se nas sociedades o consumismo. Apesar deste consumismo permitir a diversificação de produtos, jogava também com a aspiração à massificação e à homogeneização, dado todos quererem atingir o tal nível de vida. Ao estar-se por detrás da ideia de olhar para os outros à luz dos seus valores e maneiras de estar, exigindo aos outros que sigam e percorram os mesmos passos e formas de desenvolvimento, caminhando-se para a intolerância e etnocentrismo. (Amaro 1993) Todo este conjunto de forma de estar e pensar veio permitir a deslocação das pessoas do mundo rural para a cidade, encarando a vida no campo ou em meio rural como sinal de subdesenvolvimento. Foi o ponto de partida para o Alentejo e outras regiões serem atiradas para as trevas, preteridas em prol de outras, mais litorâneas, mais cosmopolitas, mais politizadas, proporcionando grandes assimetrias regionais. De facto, o conhecido modelo de desenvolvimento beneficiou somente algumas regiões, os chamados pólos urbanos, perspectivados como local privilegiado do desenvolvimento, inverso do meio rural, encarado como um espaço de ineficiência na utilização dos recursos económicos. Este modelo definiu um desenvolvimento encarado como sinónimo de crescimento económico, resultado de políticas de crescimento a nível de produtividade, do trabalho, entre outros, em que assentava no gerar de riquezas fomentadas no sector industrial. É perceptível que o paradigma evidenciado não favorece os dinamismos dos Homens e as potencialidades endógenas em todas as regiões, mas sim de algumas. Assim, levanta-se uma dúvida - Não será este, apenas um modelo de crescimento económico, ao invés de desenvolvimento e ó para algumas regiões?

I Försvarsmakten återfinns ett motsatsförhållande mellan organisationens vilja och yrkesofficerens uppfattning. I officiella publikationer förmedlas en acceptans för misslyckande medan det finns en benägenhet hos yrkesofficeren att undvika misslyckanden till varje pris. Erfarenheter kan gå förlorade då organisationen har en vilja att lära både genom bra och mindre bra genomförande. Studien avser att undersöka hur organisationskultur kan påverka en yrkesofficers syn på misslyckanden. En stark organisationskultur som hämmar en yrkesofficers benägenhet att ta initiativ eller att ta risker av rädsla för att misslyckas, kan negativt inverka på flexibilitet eller kreativitet inom organisationen. Resultatet påvisar att antaganden såsom viljan att lyckas och social acceptans påverkar synen på misslyckanden. Det finns en kultur som efter hand blir accepterad som det rätta sättet att lära eller lösa ett problem vilket inte alltid överensstämmer med den officiella viljan. Denna kultur överförs inom organisationen och blir svår att förändra. Yrkesofficeren ställs inför ett val, försöka förändra eller acceptera situationen.

Par filière « adaptée » nous entendons une forme de régulation institutionnelle qui s'exerce dans le système éducatif et qui travaille au « devenir adulte » des classes populaires. Qui sont ces jeunes ? Que retiennent-ils de l'école ? Comment s'insèrent-ils à la sortie du système éducatif ? Comment perçoivent-ils le marché du travail, et le monde social autour d'eux? Nous discutons l'idée de condamnation à la jeunesse associée aux difficultés que les classes populaires rencontrent sur le marché de l'emploi. Nous avons mis à jour l'espace des pratiques sur le marché du travail ou sur le marché relationnel-matrimonial en tenant compte des différenciations internes qui travaillent les groupes sociaux dont ils sont issus. Nous montrerons comment le marché relationnel-matrimonial, devient à terme une compensation à l'exclusion dont ils font l'objet sur le marché du travail. Enfin, nous interrogeons les formes des encadrements institutionnels qui sont rencontrées au cours des trajectoires, dans le but de cerner les effets de ces rencontres, en nous intéressant aux moyens mis en œuvre, discours, pratiques des professionnels qui les accompagnent<br>This thesis offers to reflect over the start in life of young people issued from the working classes as some of them go through « adapted » courses. By « adapted » course, we consider a form of institutional regulation which occurs within the educational system and which works for « the coming of age of young adults ». Who are these young people? What have they retained from school? How do they fit in when they leave the educational system? How do they perceive the world of work, and the society surrounding them? We shall discuss the idea of « condemnation to youth » associated with the difficulties that working classes meet on the labour market. We analysed the area of practices on the labour market or on the marital-relational market, taking into account the internal differences which work among the social groups they come from. We shall show how the marital-relational market becomes eventually a compensation for the exclusion they suffer from on the labour market. Finally, we shall question the different forms of institutional supervision which occurred along their paths, in order to define the effects of these occurrences, focusing on the implemented means, the speeches, the practices of the professionals who accompany them

Cloud Computing is the emerging way of getting benefit from technology. Cheap solutions motivate everyone to put their heads into the wheel at least once to increase their output. Cloud computing provides three difierent levels of services. SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, which are very attractive for consumers. This attraction is also very charming for banking industry, as cloud computing suits this industry in many ways. Banks do not need to spend money on IT resources and can get all within a cloud. However, it is not so easy in adoption, as it seems in words. Many genuine concerns arise about how banks can work in such environment. There are many risks to face (data and credentials security, privacy) which can only be understood after working in such an environment. Our research focuses on development of such an infrastructure where we can test these risks and address their solutions. After the initial study in this area, we found the service model of cloud computing, which suits the best banking industry, is IaaS. Therefore, we configured relevant servers, setup basic frontend and developed a cloud platform with basic authentication and authorization services. After successful implementation of this cloud platform with some other appli- cations, we developed a banking solution named SEPA Secure Banking which is our main research area for banking system. We made our SEPA banking solution operative inside our cloud system to analyze the security risks and concerns a bank can have. We also implemented standard security services as s result of our findings.

La shigellose est une maladie diarrheique strictement humaine due a l'invasion de l'epithelium intestinal par les bacteries du genre shigella. Cette maladie se caracterise par la destruction de l'epithelium colique due a une inflammation aigue au site d'infection. Les facteurs de virulence de shigella deja identifies sont codes par un plasmide de virulence et sont secretes ; il s'agit des proteines ipaa, b, c et d, requises pour l'entree dans les cellules, et de icsa, implique dans le mouvement intracellulaire de la bacterie. Notre etude a porte sur la caracterisation d'une autre proteine secretee, designee sepa. Le gene codant pour cette proteine a ete localise sur le plasmide de virulence, clone, sequence et inactive. L'attenuation de la destruction tissulaire et de l'inflammation provoquees par le mutant sepa dans le modele d'infection des anses ileales de lapin indique que sepa intervient dans l'expression du pouvoir pathogene de shigella et suggere que sepa puisse etre implique dans l'invasion tissulaire. L'invasion de l'epithelium intestinal par s. Flexneri etant favorisee par la reponse inflammatoire, notamment par le recrutement de polynucleaires neutrophiles au site d'entree, un role pro-inflammatoire de sepa pourrait permettre l'amplification du processus invasif. Sepa est synthetise sous la forme d'un precurseur de 146 kda dont l'extremite n-terminale est impliquee dans le passage de la membrane interne et l'extremite c-terminale dans celui de la membrane externe. La proteine secretee mature de 110 kda presente un motif caracteristique des proteases a serine et possede une activite proteolytique sur des peptides synthetiques. L'absence d'activite proteolytique sur differentes proteines - qui constituent une barriere contre l'invasion de l'epithelium intestinal par la bacterie, participent a la structure de la matrice extracellulaire et a son remodelage, ou prennent part a la reaction inflammatoire - indique que sepa est une protease avec une specificite de substrat tres restreinte. L'analyse structurale de sepa, par comparaison de sequence et proteolyse menagee, met en evidence quatre domaines au sein de la proteine mature et suggere que sepa puisse etre une toxine de type a-b dont le domaine catalytique serait transloque dans le cytoplasme de la cellule cible.

Negli ultimi decenni, sono diventante sempre più numerose le “cose” connesse alla rete Internet, tra esse vi sono smartphone, TV, orologi, automobili, elettrodomestici e molti altri dispositivi. È evidente, quindi, che il termine rete di calcolatori, con cui si è definito Internet sin dalla sua origine, è ormai obsoleto. Oggigiorno, infatti, si parla sempre più spesso dell’Internet delle Cose (Internet of Things), cioè un settore che si prospetta caratteristico per il futuro della tecnologia. L’obiettivo dell’Internet of Things consiste nell’evolvere l’uso della rete Internet garantendo una pseudo intelligenza agli svariati dispositivi ad essa connessi, che infatti potranno acquisire un ruolo attivo grazie al costante scambio di informazioni che potranno effettuare in rete. L’attività di ricerca si pone l’obiettivo di analizzare la comunicazione tra il modulo Arduino MKR WiFi 1010 e l’architettura semantica SEPA. La scheda Arduino utilizzata rappresenta, a pieno, il concetto di “cosa”. Si tratta, infatti, di un sistema embedded in grado di compiere un ruolo attivo nelle interazioni svolte in rete. Allo stesso modo, anche la Web API SEPA abbraccia il concetto dell’Internet of Things. Questa applicazione, sfruttando i principi del Web Semantico (Semantic Web), rende disponibili svariate risorse HTTP organizzate secondo dei database di tipo sparso, come previsto dallo standard RDF sui cui basa il proprio funzionamento.

Pretende o presente estudo verificar qual a influência que as Normas e Regulamentos assumem na aplicação de materiais e tecnologias tradicionais na recuperação de edifícios no Centro Histórico de Serpa e, como tal, na preservação de um aglomerado urbano no Alentejo. O primeiro regulamento aplicado em Serpa foi o Regulamento Geral das Edificações Urbanas (RGEU), em 1951. Apenas trinta anos depois, na década de oitenta, vários outros documentos regulamentares começaram a ser criados em contexto concelhio, cuja articulação possibilitou a gestão do edificado urbano. De realçar que, dos sete planos e regulamentos publicados, quatro pretendem apenas regulamentar a preservação das características arquitetónicas do centro histórico de Serpa. Os restantes três, aplicam-se a todo o concelho. É, nesta sequência, que se constitui relevante analisar intervenções levadas a cabo no centro histórico de Serpa, as quais foram alvo de licença por parte da autarquia desde 1951 até 2006. Foi, assim, selecionada uma área que se insere na região interior às muralhas desta cidade, zona que reúne edifícios mais antigos, dotados de características arquitetónicas únicas e de grande riqueza. Trata-se, pois, de um estudo que, com base na análise dos processos de obras registadas durante o período de tempo identificado, procura verificar a aplicação das normas e regulamentos vigentes à data da intervenção em causa, dando especial relevância ao parecer técnico elaborado pelos responsáveis da autarquia e a influência que tiveram na preservação do centro histórico de Serpa; ABSTRACT: The present study intends to check the influence that the Rules and Regulations assume the application of traditional technologies and materials in the restoration of buildings in the historic center of Serpa, and thus the preservation of an urban agglomeration in the Alentejo. The first regulation applied in Serpa was the General Regulations of Urban Buildings (RGEU) in 1951. Only thirty years later, in the eighties, several other regulatory documents began to be created in the municipal context, which enabled the joint management of the urban built environment. Note that, of the seven plans and regulations published, four intend to regulate only the preservation of the architectural features of the historic center of Serpa. The remaining three apply to the entire county. It is this sequence that is relevant to analyze interventions undertaken in the historic center of Serpa, which were subject to licensing by the local authority from 1951 to 2006. It was therefore selected an area that falls within the interior region to the walls of this city, area that meets older buildings, endowed with unique architectural features and great wealth. It is therefore of a study, based on analysis of the processes of works registered during the time period identified, try to verify the application of the rules and regulations at the time of the intervention in question, with particular relevance to the technical report prepared by the responsible authority and the influence it had on the preservation of the historic center of Serpa.

Sendo cada vez mais notório o abandono tanto regional, como desportivo nas regiões do interior de Portugal, é necessária a criação de estratégias sustentadas com vista à fixação de uma população mais ativa. Os objetivos deste estudo prendem-se com a criação de uma carta desportiva do município de Serpa, descrevendo a oferta desportiva e percebendo se esta é adequada às necessidades dos seus habitantes, dando contributos para um planeamento estratégico mais eficiente neste concelho. De forma a conhecer mais profundamente o movimento desportivo do concelho foi necessário recolher dois grupos de dados, primeiramente agrupar o número de instalações e associações desportivas, modalidades e seus praticantes, mas também, com auxílio de um questionário aplicado presencialmente numa amostra de 266 residentes do concelho, estratificada por grupo etário e sexo, conhecer os hábitos desportivos da população, as suas necessidades e perceber a sua satisfação quanto à oferta existente. Após a organização dos dados, foi possível observar que existe uma oferta desportiva centralizada a nível de instalações e associações desportivas, uma fraca utilização de instalações desportivas, estando algumas delas abandonadas ou sem condições para a prática, mas também uma fraca adesão em algumas modalidades desportivas, por indisponibilidade de deslocação, questões monetárias ou falta de tempo. Em conclusão, a oferta desportiva deste concelho não está adequada às necessidades da sua população, devido à grande centralização, abandono de instalações desportivas e falta de programas para a população mais jovem; ABSTRACT: With the notorious exodus of people, as well as the abandon of physical activity in the interior regions of Portugal, the creation of sustainable strategies with the goal of encouraging the population to settle and be active is necessary. The main goal of this study is the creation of a sporting report of the municipality of Serpa, describing the existing offer of sporting activities and evaluating if said offer is adequate to the populations’ necessities, thus providing information and contributions to a more efficient strategic planning in this county. In order to deepen the knowledge on the sporting activities of the county, two sets of data were collected. First, a data collection consisting of the number of sporting facilities and associations, variety of sports and number of athletes was carried out. Furthermore, a survey was carried out with a sample size of 266 county residents, stratified by age group and gender, with the goal of finding out more about the population’s sporting habits, their necessities and assess their level of satisfaction regarding the current offer of activities. The results of this study showed that the vast majority of the sporting facilities and associations are located in the city of Serpa (with the county being one the largest in Portugal). Most of the facilities are being poorly used, with some of them being abandoned or with no conditions for usage. A lack of adherence to some of the activities was also reported. Financial reasons, lack of time and travelling logistics were the main reasons justifying this. This study concluded that the sporting offer of the county does not cover the necessities of its population, mainly due to the centralization and poor state of the sporting facilities and the lack of programs and plans that are more appealing to the younger population.

All'interno dell'elaborato si descrive l'interfacciamento effettuato tra due devices appartenenti alla famiglia Arduino con la piattaforma semantica Publish Subscribe SEPA. Nel primo capitolo verrà introdotto il concetto di Semantic Web, in particolare si mostrerà l'architettura di rete sulla quale si basa il server SEPA, illustrando le tecnologie proprie di questo ambiente quali Resource Description Framework (RDF), SPARQL1.1 Protocol e SPARQL 1.1 SE Protocol. Nel secondo capitolo sarà presentato l'ambiente Arduino, concentrandosi specialmente sul modello Arduino Yun Rev. 2, e dimostrando le sue caratteristiche fisiche e tecniche. Infine nel terzo capitolo verrà illustrato un case study tramite il quale sarà dimostrata l'applicazione di tali tecnologie ad una situazione pratica: si mostreranno dal punto di vista hardware e software le procedure affrontate per la realizzazione di una rete composta da due nodi sensori (devices Arduino Uno con ESP8266 e Arduino Yun Rev. 2) che comunicano tra loro sfruttando la tecnologia SEPA. Questo esempio servirà a dimostrare non solo il funzionamento del SEPA e la sua funzionalità di Publish Subscribe Server, ma come esso si possa interfacciare con dei sistemi embedded appartenenti alla famiglia Arduino attuando un'applicazione reale quale può essere la misurazione di temperatura e umidità. L'elaborato si concentra maggiormente sul modello Arduino Yun Rev.2, il quale è stato utilizzato per la realizzazione del case study,ma l'obbiettivo è anche quello di presentare il progetto SEPINO: esso è ancora in fase di sviluppo e mira alla diffusione delle tecnologie SEPA sull'intera famiglia Arduino, comprendendo anche altri modelli e facendo in modo che questi due ambienti riescano a sfruttare le qualità reciproche in modo sinergico.

Abstract:
<p>The purpose of this paper is to compare two different portfolio strategies consisting of insider transactions and stock recommendations and examine whether they posses any information advantage.  The portfolios are balanced once every three-, six- and twelve- months in the period of 2007-2009. Our results show a pattern for these investment strategies. The portfolio consisting of insider transactions generates a positive return in equity in a negative market environment and the opposite reaction in a positive environment. The result for the portfolio consisting of stock recommendations show a positive return of equity in positive environment and the opposite effect in negative environment. The pattern that has been observed can be classified as an anomaly. Therefore, we conclude that the market cannot be classified as efficient in a short term perspective. This anomaly is short-lived which indicates that the market is efficient in a long term perspective.   </p>

Relatório de Estágio apresentado para cumprimento dos requisitos necessários à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Gestão do Território – Área de Especialização em Planeamento e Ordenamento do Território<br>O Planeamento e Ordenamento do Território são competências fundamentais do Estado Português, que este deve exercer e fazer exercer a diferentes escalas geográficas. Esta prática tem evoluído, procurando adaptar-se às necessidades e realidades locais, cabendo aos municípios a responsabilidade maior pelo planeamento e ordenamento do seu território. Neste sentido destacam-se os Planos Diretores Municipais, planos regulamentares que definem o uso, ocupação e transformação do solo, visando o desenvolvimento socioeconómico do município. Porém, os PDM de 1ª geração ficaram aquém desse objetivo, devido à falta de visão estratégica e de prática/experiência de planeamento territorial. A promulgação de diversos diplomas, com destaque para a Lei de Bases (Lei 48/98, de 11 de agosto) e o Regime Jurídico dos IGT (DL 380/99, de 22 de setembro), e a aprendizagem com os erros cometidos, criaram condições para a emergência de uma “nova prática” ao nível do planeamento e ordenamento do território. Esta nova prática assenta num carácter mais estratégico e programado dos IGT, em particular do PDM, elaborados ao abrigo de um novo quadro legislativo e de uma melhor prática do planeamento, procurando um desenvolvimento coerente dos municípios, consoante as suas realidades/necessidades socioeconómicas e territoriais. Podemos claramente verificar esta evolução do Ordenamento do Território em Portugal ao analisarmos o PDM de Serpa (vigente) e o PDM revisto (que entrará brevemente em vigor), e ver de que modo os PDM de 1ª geração tiveram impacto num concelho do Baixo Alentejo/Interior e, como se procuram colmatar as falhas existentes na elaboração do novo PDM (2ª geração), elaborado ao abrigo de um vasto leque de regimes jurídicos, orientações e legislações. Serpa é um concelho com perda de população e de funções, necessitando adotar uma estratégia coerente com essa realidade. O novo PDM procura responder a essa necessidade ao ter objetivos mais concretos e ao assentar numa lógica estratégica de desenvolvimento local, seguindo as orientações do PNPOT e do PROT, procurando a coesão social e territorial, o crescimento económico do concelho e uma malha urbana coerente, respeitando sempre os recursos naturais, ambientais, patrimoniais e culturais, e contribuindo para proporcionar aos seus cidadãos uma boa qualidade de vida.

O presente relatório de estágio é constituído por duas partes. A primeira corresponde ao acompanhamento das atividades diárias desenvolvidas no Consultório Veterinário de Serpa (CVS). A segunda parte tem por base o estudo da prevalência de helmintes gastrointestinais em cachorros, com especial atenção para a infeção por Toxocara canis. Este estudo permitiu obter um panorama geral dos géneros de helmintes gastrointestinais mais comuns nos cachorros do concelho de Serpa. Recolheram-se amostras de fezes de 50 cachorros e relacionaram-se os resultados obtidos com fatores como idade, sexo, ambiente em que viviam, estado de desparasitação dos cachorros, das progenitoras e de animais com que coabitavam, entre outros. Verificou-se que existe uma prevalência de helmintes gastrointestinais de 38%, apresentando o género Toxocara sp uma prevalência de 14%. Com a realização desta pesquisa, concluiu-se também que o assunto das helmintoses gastrointestinais e das zoonoses a elas associadas é ainda um assunto subvalorizado; Abstract: Small Animal Medicine – Research of puppies’ helminths in Serpa county The present report of trainsheep is constituted of two components. The first component covers the casuistry accompanied daily at the Veterinary Consultory of Serpa. The second one is about a research of the presence of gastrointestinal helminths in puppies with special attention for the infection caused by Toxocara canis. This research allowed obtaining an overview of the most common gastrointestinal parasites of Serpa’s county puppies. Fecal samples were collected from 50 pups and the obtained results were related to factors such as: age, sex, environment in which they lived, deparasitation of puppies, progenitors and other dogs with which they cohabited, among others. It was verified that the prevalence of gastrointestinal helminths was 38% and the prevalence of Toxocara sp was 14%. It was also concluded that the subject of the gastrointestinal helminths and associated zoonosis is still undervalued.

Abstract:
This thesis examines the Mauritian music and dance form known as sega and its performance of embodied creolisation through rhythm. It argues that sega's Afro-diasporic form encodes a performative history of sacred African presence in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean. This history can be traced to an Indo-oceanic maritime history of contact, trade and settlement that incorporated Mauritius within a regional network comprising East Africa and the wider Indian Ocean. I explore sega's origins in sacred rituals performed by slaves and argue that sega's contemporary secular performance perpetuate sacred devotion through its African rhythmic structure. Drawing from the rich literature on Afro-diasporic musical genres in the Caribbean and the Americas, this thesis demonstrates sega's performance of the sacred through embodied rhythms in dance and the corporeal production of rhythm. This performance of sacred devotion, my thesis demonstrates, is perpetuated through its modem form, sega d'ambiance, performed on modem instruments and inclusive of foreign musical influences. Modem sega's popular success in the Indian Ocean, this thesis argues, circulates on an existing circuit of Indo-oceanic rhythms in the South West Indian Ocean. My thesis further contends that sega's performative history of embodied creolisation complicates the discourse of creolisation elaborated in the Caribbean through its rhythmic convergence with demotic Bhojpuri music and dance traditions in Mauritius. This convergence, this thesis argues, evidences a shared history or embodied creolisation based upon a common body politic of sacred and pleasure performance in Afro-Malagasy and North Indian demotic traditions. Embodied creolisation, my thesis contends, substantiates the body's kinetic memory of rhythmic creolisation able to counter purist ethno-religious discourses in Mauritius.

Abstract:
In this thesis, data relevant to isospin-non conserving effects in the fp shell are presented. The data are interpreted in terms of the shell model and use empirically derived isospin non-conserving terms. Understanding the empirically derived isospin-non conserving terms is the main motivation for this research. The J = 2 anomaly is a term that has been introduced into shell model calculations to reproduce mirror energy difference (MED) data in the f7/2 shell. The first of the two experiments in this thesis examines the Tz = −3 nucleus 51Co. Excited states were identified through gamma ray spectroscopy with SeGA at the NSCL facility using the A1900+S800 setup. The transitions were identified using mirror symmetry arguments. The results show that the f7/2 MED calculation approach is still accurate when the states relevant to the MED are unbound to proton emission in the negative Tz nucleus. A second experiment is presented which is the main focus of this thesis. The experimental setup was much the same except for higher mass beams and GRETINA was used in place of SeGA. The experiment used a 66As beam, and isotonic contaminants of 65Ge and 64Ga to populate excited states in fp shell nuclei. Results and discussion are presented for the following nuclide and pairs of mirror nuclei: 62Ga; 63Ge and 63Ga; 65As and 65Ge. The conclusions drawn from the results of these two experiments are as follows: • No additional isospin non-conserving effects are observed when states in one of the mirror nuclei are as much as 1.5 MeV unbound to proton emission. • The A = 63 MED show that one of the expected terms (Vcr) does not function in the upper-fp shell. • The implication from the presented data is that states in 65As undergo proton emission. • A study of triplet energy difference (TED) systematics is presented along side data from 62Ga to produce a new candidate for the anomalous T = 1, 2+ state in 62Ga.

All'interno dell'elaborato si descrive l'interfacciamento di due microcontrollori, Arduino UNO ed ESP8266, con la piattaforma semantica Publish/Subscribe SEPA. Nel primo capitolo vengono illustrate le caratteristiche dell'architettura SEPA, quali il modello dati RDF (Resource Description Framework) e SPARQL 1.1 SE Protocol, linguaggio che permette le operazioni di manipolazione dei dati attraverso tre primitive (Update, Query e Subscribe). Viene inoltre esposto il concetto di REST Service, utilizzato per incrementare l'autonomia del sistema. Nel secondo capitolo viene presentato l'ambiente di sviluppo Arduino ed i microcontrollori utilizzati, descrivendone le caratteristiche hardware e software. Vengono inoltre analizzate le motivazioni principali per le quali si è deciso di spostarsi da Arduino UNO al modulo ESP-01, che utilizza il chip ESP8266. Infine, il terzo capitolo, contiene un esempio di funzionamento, nel quale sono state utilizzate le tecnologie esposte per la realizzazione di un sistema IoT: vengono mostrate le soluzioni hardware e software realizzate per l'implementazione di una rete composta da due nodi sensori (ESP-01 ed Arduino Yun Rev 2), che, interfacciandosi con il server SEPA in una rete locale LAN/WLAN, si scambiano informazioni su temperatura ed umidità. All'interno della rete è presente anche un server REST, implementato su Arduino UNO, che fornisce la configurazione al modulo ESP-01. L'applicazione sviluppata ha dimostrato come i microcontrollori di questa famiglia possano essere utilizzati in applicazioni reali ed ha consentito di presentare il progetto SEPINO. Questo progetto è in fase di sviluppo e mira alla diffusione della tecnologia SEPA sfruttando l'interfacciamento con i vari microcontrollori della famiglia Arduino e rendendo questa tecnologia fruibile da tutti attraverso la diffusione di una specifica libreria.

Magistrinio darbo tema – Finansiniai e. atsiskaitymai verslo įmonių finansinėje veikloje. Darbo tikslas – išanalizuoti verslo įmonių finansinius atsiskaitymus bei pateikti rekomendacijas dėl vieningos atsiskaitymo sistemos ES šalyse. Informacinių technologijų augimo tendencija bei rinkos konkurencija priverčia verslo įmones keisti savo vidinius procesus, pritaikant šiuolaikiškas skaitmenines galimybes. Finansinių e. atsiskaitymų verslo įmonių finansinėje veikloje perkėlimas į e. erdvę yra labai svarbus žingsnis, skatinant skaitmeninės ir konkurencingos ekonomikos vystymąsi. ES nagrinėdama problemas, susijusias su e. atsiskaitymais, siūlo nemažai sprendimų kaip išvengti ir išspręsti šias problemas. Vienas iš tokių sprendimų yra vieningos mokėjimo erdvės sukūrimas ES šalyse, kuri vykdoma trimis etapais: sukūrimo, įgyvendinimo, prijungimo. Prijungimo etapas turi pasibaigti 2010 m. 12 mėnesį. Iki to laiko visos ES šalys privalo užtikrinti vieningos mokėjimo sistemos naudojimą, atliekant kaip vietinius taip ir tarptautinius pavedimus. Šios sistemos tikslas yra išspręsti „tarpsienines“ ES šalių problemas, susijusias su finansiniais atsiskaitymais – kad elektroniniai mokėjimai ES, t.y. mokėjimai kredito ir debeto kortelėmis, kredito pavedimai, mokėjimas tiesioginio debeto būdu ar kitaip būtų tokie pat paprasti, pigūs ir saugūs, kokie šiandien yra mokėjimai vienoje valstybėje narėje. „Tarpsieninės“ finansinių atsiskaitymų problemos stabdo ekonomikos vystymą konkurencingomis... [toliau žr. visą tekstą]<br>The aim of the thesis: to analyse the financial payments of business enterprises and to provide recommendations on a single payment system in EU countries. The trends in the area of IT growth and market competition make enterprises change their internal processes and make use of contemporary digital instruments. Shift of financial e-payments into the cyberspace in financial activities of business enterprises is a very important move stimulating the development of digital and competitive economy. Dealing with issues related to e-payments, EU offers a number of solutions how to prevent and to solve the problems. One of the solutions is a three-stage creation of a single payment area in EU countries: development, implementation and connection. The stage of connection must be completed by December 2010. By then all EU countries must ensure use of the single payment system both for local and international transfers. The goal of such system is to solve the problems of EU countries related to cross-border financial payments, so that e-payments in EU, i.e. payments by credit and debit cards, credit transfers, direct debit payments, etc., would be as easy, cheap and safe as the payments within borders of one member state are today.
