Abstract:
Past mowers only work on flat ground and are difficult to adapt to the slope lawn job. To improve this situation, some improvements in the transmission system are made by referring to properties and parameters of the similar mechanical. Then a mower is designed for operating on slope and structural simulation is made by Pro/E. The mower has the characteristic of self-propelled mower because it is driven by engine and rear wheel can get suitable driving force through triple reduction of belt drive, worm drive and gear drive. Also machine can operate on slopes with good lubrication. This will undoubtedly make significant and effective contribution to a further development of more advanced congeneric product.

Abstract:
Based on the internal structure of a small self-propelled mower, extract key points and make the main outlines of the machine by connecting the points in four ways: straight lines connect, arcs connect, free curves connect and data fitting. Then start from the main outlines and make the morphological evolution by the rules of "tilt", "fillet" and the characteristic of curves to obtain lots of basic shapes of the machines. Choose and modify the shapes by a unified style to get the final design of the mower. The period of the R&D of the small self-propelled mower is shorten and the final design is simple and effective in line with the appearance needs of such kind of products. Moreover the final shells of the mower are better match with the structural components. That verifies the feasibility of the design method and its better effect.

Abstract:
For large-area slope turf nursing, existing self-propelled mower is unsuitable to operate on slope while hand-propelled or backpack mower works with intensive labor and low efficiency. The development of LD-1300 crawler mower resolves this problem: being supported with articulated suspension, the generator set is vertical automatically relying on gravitation, at this rate it is suitable to operate on any slope; crawler traveling mechinanics can work for a long distance and climb up abrupt slope; adjustable knife suits grass of different height; suspended knife can be upturned, for convenience of the mower to move and turn; knife protection cover and floating wheel can protect the knife and people and livestock around; retractable lever at both sides of the mower will protect the mower from side flip. Compared with backpack mower, the efficiency of crawler mower is 2.4 times higher and the cost is nearly half. While it can work in high quality and efficiency with low cost, the crawler mower is economical and can be extended in relevant field.

Abstract:
Noise measurements of more than 600 lawn mowers were made at 25 feet and at the operator's ear between 2004 and 2021. These data are presented and compared with the measurement of more than 60 mowers in 1973 by the US EPA. With the exception of electric lawn mowers, very little progress has been made quieting lawn mowers. Electric lawn mowers are significantly quieter than gas mowers. Recently, with improvements in battery technology, the performance of electric mowers has improved significantly. There are currently electric push, self-propelled, and ride-on mowers with comparable performance to gas powered mowers. Finally, the impacts of lawn mower noise on community noise and hearing conservation are discussed.

Abstract:
The article proposes a method of parametric synthesis of the device of flattening the plant mass of the mower-flatter of the trailed KPP-4,2. A method of modernization of the parameters of the flattening mechanism has been developed, which can be used in both trailed and self-propelled mowers. It is established that the stability of plant mass flattening through the streets of the planting apparatus directly influences the energy costs of deformation of plant mass and indirectly the magnitude and rate of loss of moisture and nutrients in the flattened mass, which is largely determined by the structure and parameters of the mechanism of flattening (MP). The analytical solution to the design problem of the flattening device KPP-4,2 has an iterative implementation of the analysis procedures based on the formed FMM, as well as the procedures of comparison and selection of options in the procedure of parametric synthesis of MP. It is to choose a combination of internal parameters of the flattening device, according to the selected structure of the MP, which, while satisfying the functional constraints, simultaneously stabilizes the pressure from the upper to the lower roller. The analytical dependences of the operation of the trailed mower-conditioner KPP-4.2 on the height, density of grass stand, culture, agrotechnical requirements, field topography and physical and chemical composition of the soil have been established. Depending on the listed factors, the initial data and coefficients used in modeling change. As a result, we obtain the corresponding dependencies, show how the productivity and useful work of the mower changes from changes in the environmental parameters of the mowed mass and operating modes. Directly from the data obtained, it is possible to recommend the operating modes of the mower to obtain maximum performance on a particular background of work. As a result, we received optimization data to improve the operation of the trailed mower-conditioner KPP-4,2 taking into account all variables and coefficients.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the technical means for uprooting trees. Tools aggregated with wheel and caterpillar tractors of various traction classes are the most popular ones in Russia. Abroad, self-propelled stump removers with high engine power and high performance are used, which are in demand in various industries (forestry, agricultural and oil and gas complexes, road construction), when laying high-voltage power lines and their maintenance, as well as in other areas of the national economy. The analysis of technical means for uprooting trees has shown that the dominant trend is creation of stump removers that ensure safety of the process, its high productivity and decrease in the number of personnel on felling. Self-propelled robotic stump remover equipped with wide-profile low-pressure tires has been developed to implement innovative technologies in the forest complex. Ensuring the technological process is carried out by robot-eradicator in unmanned mode. It is achieved by using a technical vision system, navigation equipment, automated control of technological equipment, transmission and steering. The aim of the study was to evaluate the longitudinal stability of a robotic self-propelled stump remover during vertical transportation of a tree and environmental compatibility of its wheeled mover with soil and vegetation cover. Conducted theoretical studies have found that the proposed layout scheme of a self-propelled stump remover provides longitudinal stability when moving with a tree in an upright position without the use of ballast counterweights behind the rear axle. It was also found that the wheel mover of the stump remover equipped with wide-profile low-pressure tires is environmentally friendly when performing technological operations in the summer-autumn period

Abstract:
The agricultural operational holding in India is about 1.15 ha and 85.01 per cent belongs to marginal holdings (below 2 ha). This data shows an economic condition of the Indian farmer, which doesn’t allow him to adopt advanced agricultural machineries. Considering the situation of Indian farmer, we developed a prototype of three row self-propelled zero till direct seeded rice planter cum fertilizer applicator. This machine helps to plant a dry rice seed along with the fertilizer application with zero tillage condition. The machine includes inclined plate metering mechanism for seed; cup feed metering mechanism for fertilizer, seed cum fertilizer hopper, ground wheel, depth control wheels, inverted T furrow openers, 5 hp engine as a prime mover, power transmission system, adjustable handle, lever and rigid main frame to support all the parts and drive wheels. Machine is divided into two parts viz., prime mover part and planter cum fertilizer applicator part. Both parts can be separated from each other. The machine places the rice seed up to average depth of 25-40 mm and spacing between hills is observed to be 130-160 mm along with an average 20 cm of row spacing. The average field capacity at an average speed of 2.3 km.h-1 is observed to be 0.115 ha.h-1 for operating rice seeds. The field efficiency is observed to be 86.9 per cent. The operational cost is observed to be around 69.28 per cent less than the manual planting of rice seedling and also the man hour’s requirement is very less than the manual planting.

Abstract:
As the needs of optical glasses are on the rise, the precision on shape, form, surface qualities and the scaling down of sizes are rising, too. The standards and surface finish of reference mirrors used in measuring appliances are crucial; hence, enhancement of the surface finish is indispensable in manufacturing industries. This paper proposes a self-propelled multi jet polishing technique for ultra precision polishing process in which bladelessTesla turbinewas used as a prime mover. The turbine is characterized by high swirling velocity at the outlet; therefore, high kinetic energy in the course of away from the turbine was used as polishing energy. Simulation of the flow of the field of turbine blades using computational fluid dynamics software (CFD) has also been presented. With a newly designed and manufactured polishing tool, this paper investigates the optimal polishing parameters for surface roughness improvement of crown optical glasses using Taguchis experimental approach; signal-to-nose (S/N) ratio and ANOVA analysis was also carried out to determine the effect of main factors on the surface roughness. Consequently, a 2.5μm size of Al2O3abrasive, 10wt% abrasive concentration, 80rpm of polishing head, 6 numbers of nozzles, 6 kg/cm2of pressure, and 45min. of polishing time have been found to be the optimal parameters. It was observed that about 94.44% improvements on surface roughness; Ra, from 0.360μm to 0.020μm has been achieved using the optimal parameters. In addition to this; angular speed of polishing head, pressure and polishing time were found to have significant effect on surface roughness improvement.

Abstract:
The main impact force of ground troops is the hard weapons and military equipment, that is why the loss of one of them is always painful for any army in the world The basic combat weapons and military equipment (high-precision samples of weapons and military equipment) are too expensive to destroy damaged vehicles or leave them on the battlefield. Realizing this, the special vehicles were created for the evacuation of this type of weapons and military equipment – armored repair and evacuation vehicle, which are designed to evacuate from the battlefield damaged and stuck tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, self-propelled artillery system and other units of equipment, even out of the probable enemy fire. Taking into account the analysis of the development of evacuation means which are in the service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the armed forces of the leading countries of the world, in this work the method of substantiation of tactical and technical requirements for means of evacuation of damaged weapons and military equipment is proposed. The essence of this method is to distribute the means of evacuation by mass and size, by type of mover, by the method of moving the damaged sample, by the level of application. The formation of requirements is aimed at the transition of evacuation means and basic models of weapons and military equipment to unified basic platforms of the modular type. The implementation of these platforms will make it possible to install various types of special modules of evacuation means (material-handling, load-lifting, etc.) and modules of samples of weapons and special equipment. The application of this metodology will provide an opportunity to obtain technical outlines of evacuation tools for different levels of the hierarchy, taking into account the scope of tasks assigned to them.
