Abstract:

El Mercado Común del Sur (MERCOSUR), nace a la luz del Tratado de Asunción del 26 de marzo de 1991, para coordinar políticas sociales y macroeconómicas entre los países suramericanos; se creó con cuatro Estados Partes-Fundacionales: Brasil, Argentina, Uruguay y Paraguay.Hoy Paraguay se encuentra separado del MERCOSUR. El Parlamento Paraguayo destituyó al Presidente Fernando de Lugo en el año 2012, en el conocido “golpe parlamentario de Estado”; originando tal situación, que el grupo económico regional separara a Paraguay de MERCOSUR.La finalidad de este escrito de reflexión es intentar dar respuesta al siguiente interrogante: Fue válida la decisión de MERCOSUR de separar a Paraguay, tomada a través de su Tribunal Permanente de Revisión (TPR), sustentada en la activación de la Cláusula Democrática en su contra?

Abstract:

Cromatografia de afinidade é uma técnica usada para separar compostos, como, por exemplo, determinadas proteínas, que têm a capacidade de se ligar não covalentemente e reversivelmente a moléculas específicas conhecidas como ligantes. Esse método difere das técnicas de cromatografia clássica devido a proteína conseguir ser separada com base em uma única propriedade bioquímica. Em cromatografia de afinidade, o ligante está ligado covalentemente à matriz, que deve ser quimicamente inerte, porosa e também ter uma variedade de grupos funcionais adequados para acoplamento com ligantes diferentes. Várias matrizes e ligantes são usados em cromatografia de afinidade, dependendo da proteína a ser purificada. Esse trabalho descreverá alguns aspectos importantes para o isolamento de lectinas através da técnica de cromatografia de afinidade utilizando-se carboidratos.

Abstract:

Este ensaio é um estudo psicanalítico a respeito de Lia, paranóica, artista em tempo integral, que, ao tecer suas estórias, viu a linha que separa a ficção da realidade ser esfumaçada em seu ato de escrita. Escritora de romances e poesias, Lia também pinta sobre quaisquer suportes que se lhe apresentam. Consideraremos que sua paranóia não pode ser separada de sua produção literária e gráfica, pois elas estão entranhadas umas nas outras. Assim, o tratamento psicanalítico realizado com essa paciente decorreu precisamente daquilo que constitui sua paranóia: sua produção escrita e artística. No desenrolar da situação analítica sua escrita é transformada pela leitura de um outro fora dela e, nesse nicho, Lia pôde construir uma forma diferente de subjetivação.

Trato neste artigo de processos sociais que envolvem moralidades, normatividades, violências, vida e morte. Argumento, baseando-me em uma pesquisa etnográfica realizada em uma favela de Belo Horizonte, que é a triangulação entre três regimes normativos primordiais — o do “mundo do crime”, o do estado, e o da Igreja — que vai confeccionar o que a teórica Judith Butler chama de enquadramento, ou seja, a moldura que separa quem fica do lado de dentro e quem fica do lado de fora do que é inteligível. Concluo que, por se tratar de um território marcado por violências, é essa triangulação que vai separar quem é “humano” de quem é “matável”.

Abstract:

Neste artigo são analisadas as noções de natureza e de direito que gravitam em O livro da selva de Rudyard Kipling. Em função de distintas opiniões e eventos históricos, é explorada a desestabilização da fronteira que separava o natural e o social na Índia colonial. É trabalhado também o conteúdo e o alcance da Rule of Law dos centros imperiais em relação aos sujeitos “não-humanos” que habitavam os territórios coloniais. Observa-se que, em O livro da selva, a linha que separa o social e o natural é uma fronteira em constante movimento. Conclui-se que a desestabilização dos espaços e das subjetividades convida à reflexão sobre o alojamento dos estranhos, dos seres não-humanos e desumanizados que habitam nossas comunidades.

Abstract:

The objective of this paper is to present the efficiency of the separation process on a sieve with a conical separation surface, with a vertical shaft and having vibrational motion. Separation intensity curves of rape seeds through circular sieve apertures were drawn by regression analysis of the quantities of material separated at different distances from the central axis of the sieve, using the Gaussian distribution law. The coefficients of the regression equation and the correlation coefficient of the distribution function with experimental data show a high degree of correlation between them. The movement of the material on the sieve and the separation process, in general, was assessed by the position of the distribution curve maximum, depending on the material flow rate.

El deber del instituto hacia el religioso que se separa viene regulado en el can. 702 §2 del Código vigente, que establece: «Sin embargo, el instituto debe observar la equidad y la caridad evangélica con el miembro que se separe de él» La aplicación de este principio, en la práctica comporta que los superiores deben tener en cuenta, gracias a la aequitas canónica, todo aquello que postula la caridad. Esto evita el rigor de la ley adaptándolo con prudencia y moderación a cada uno. Por lo tanto, es un verdadero deber moral y canónico, no obstante que las motivaciones sean la caridad y la equidad. Por lo tanto, por parte del instituto existe un deber y, por parte del exre-ligioso, un derecho a que sea observada la equidad y la caridad hacia él.

Abstract:

O uso da técnica de eletroforese para separar múltiplas formas moleculares de enzimas tem sido bastante explorada na área biológica, cujas diferenças detectadas nos tecidos podem ser eficientemente usadas para diferenciação de cultivares em qualquer fase de seu desenvolvimento fenológico. Nesse trabalho, procedeu-se ao estudo da variabilidade isoenzimática em seis linhagens de amendoim resistentes à seca, com o objetivo de se verificar as possíveis relações da variação encontrada na base desses descritores com essa aptidão no amendoim. Estudaram-se folíolos da parte apical com 5 dias após a germinação, utilizando-se a técnica de eletroforese em gel de poliacrilamida (7%) sistema horizontal e contínuo de tampão. Os sistemas estudados foram fosfatase ácida (ACP), malato desidrogenase (MDH), leucina aminopeptidase (LAP), peroxidase (PO), e esterase (EST). A caracterização fenotípica dos genótipos permitiu a separação de quatro grupos para ACP, três para LAP, dois para MDH e seis para PO e EST. A partir da análise dos componentes principais dos grupos obtidos, observou-se que a cultivar IAC Tupã (sensível à seca) foi separada das demais, especialmente da cultivar resistente Senegal 55437.

Abstract:

Trata-se da reflexão sobre a temática da educação sob o olhar da complexidade, segundo vários autores. O objetivo é refletir e compor algumas idéias sobre a complexidade na educação em geral e dos profissionais da saúde em particular. Na formação escolar, incluída a universitária, ensina-se a separar os objetos de seu contexto, as disciplinas umas das outras. Essa separação e fragmentação é incapaz de captar "o que está tecido junto", isto é, o complexo. Assim, gera-se um pensamento que separa o que está ligado, unifica o que é múltiplo, elimina tudo aquilo que traz desordens ou contradições para nosso entendimento. Portanto, é de transcendental importância a Reforma do Pensamento, que é aquela que gera um pensamento do contexto e do complexo. Dessa maneira, o conhecimento pertinente permitirá aos alunos enfrentar a complexidade do real, percebendo as ligações, interações, implicações mútuas dos fenômenos, considerando a multidimensionalidade dos problemas.

Resumo Quando pensamos na Grécia, o “lugar dos sonhos” (Wunsch-Ort) dos alemães, e especialmente na relação de Nietzsche com a Grécia, muitas coisas podem com razão chamar nossa atenção. Grécia pode ser interpretada de diferentes maneiras na obra de Nietzsche. Mas todos podemos talvez concordar que, para Nietzsche, o mundo grego é uma ferramenta de valor crítico insuperável. Eles são testemunhas da diferença que os separa de nós. Eles são uma alternativa cultural inalcançável (unerreichbare) e inalcançada (unerreichte), para a qual é permitido orientar-nos, mas da qual, frequentemente e mais facilmente, podemos nos separar. Nietzsche serve-se do mundo grego a fim de aprofundar a crise da cega confiança etnocêntrica do homem moderno. Como historiador e filólogo, Nietzsche usa a literatura grega para lutar contra o absolutismo científico (há apenas um mundo, apenas uma ciência, uma única ratio, a minha) do mundo moderno. Sua crítica almeja falsificar as categorias científicas modernas, prosseguindo com um estudo genealógico que deve “transvalorar” as bases da cultura ocidental moderna.

Ni el observador objetivo ex ante ni los conocimientos especiales del autor mediante los que la doctrina de la imputación objetiva pretende resolver en el plano objetivo el problema de la imputación penal, permiten prescindir del tipo subjetivo que, en el mismo plano que el tipo objetivo (en el que la doctrina de la imputación objetiva juega un papel decisivo), forman una unidad inescindible sólo separable a efectos analíticos. Ni el delito imprudente permite prescindir de las representaciones subjetivas del autor (tipo subjetivo de imprudencia) ni el delito doloso soporta la llamada normativización del dolo que lo reduzca a peligro objetivo elevado representado, prescindiendo de la representación subjetiva (psicológica) de la presencia de un peligro objetivo elevado. De la misma forma que en su día fue imposible configurar de manera netamente separada la exigencia de un desvalor-acción y un desvalor-resultado, que constituyen una unidad inescindible, los últimos desarrollos de la doctrina de la imputación objetiva muestran sus dificultades insalvables a la hora de separar imputación objetiva e imputación subjetiva, que relegue esta última a un plano secundario, sólo relevante a efectos de medir la culpabilidad por un injusto acotado de forma puramente objetiva.

Abstract:

The oriental armyworm, Mythimna separata (Walker) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), is a notorious migratory pest of cereal crops. Pyemotes zhonghuajia Yu, Zhang & He (Prostigmata: Pyemotidae) is an ectoparasitic mite with great potential in controlling many species of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Homoptera. To evaluate the control efficiency of P. zhonghuajia on M. separata, we tested how initial density (1, 5, 10, or 20 mites) of P. zhonghuajia affected the mortality of oriental armyworm and the number of P. zhonghuajia fed upon individual hosts, and also determined the diameter growth of the opisthosoma and reproduction of P. zhonghuajia at different life stages of M. separata. Our results show that differing densities of P. zhonghuajia could significantly affect the mortality rate of different life stages of M. separata and the recruitment number of P. zhonghuajia on hosts, and there were significant differences in the development and reproduction parameters of P. zhonghuajia on different immature stages of M. separata. A single P. zhonghuajia could cause at least a 50% mortality rate of M. separata first to third instar larvae within 48 h. At higher density of 20 P. zhonghuajia, 100% of first to fourth and 30% of fifth instar larvae of M. separata were killed within 24 h. All prepupae and pupae of M. separata died when they were exposed to 10 and 20 P. zhonghuajia, respectively. In addition, density of P. zhonghuajia significantly influenced their adult recruitment of the body surface of M. separata. Pyemotes zhonghuajia could only complete development and reproduction on M. separata eggs, prepupae and pupae. However, the longevity, opisthosoma size and fecundity of P. zhonghuajia paralyzed on prepupae and pupae were significantly higher than those on eggs. In conclusion, P. zhonghuajia might be a suitable biological control agent against the oriental armyworm, and M. separata prepupae and pupae may be used as alternative prey for the mass rearing of P. zhonghuajia.

Objetivo: En este artículo se argumenta que la teoría clásica sobre la diferenciación de la esfera religiosa y la consecuente secularización de la modernidad ha dado pie a interpretaciones y generalizaciones erradas, puesto que, en la complejidad de los procesos socio-históricos, no existen fronteras claramente identificables que permitan separar analíticamente lo político de lo religioso. Método: La crítica aquí expuesta se basa en un análisis segmentado de la teoría de la secularización y en una revisión del concepto de “religión” como categoría analítica frecuentemente usada en las ciencias sociales. Resultados: Se sostiene que, si la religión se concibe como una esfera separada (diferenciación) que ha perdido su poder y tiende a desaparecer (secularización), ello no solo es muy cuestionable desde el punto de vista empírico, sino que es absolutamente dependiente de lo que se entiende por el concepto de “religión”, una precisión que no se suele hacer en las ciencias sociales. Conclusiones: Se concluye que las esferas se diferencian únicamente en su dimensión institucional, y que los aportes de Émile Durkheim son de gran valía para identificar lo sagrado en la política moderna, demostrando así que lo religioso está presente incluso en las instituciones seculares. Ello se demuestra mediante en caso de la sacralización del individuo en las democracias liberales contemporáneas.

Abstract:

Este artículo de reflexión se ocupa de analizar la noción de estética en el arteexpuesta por Danto en el texto “¿Qué es el arte?”. La hipótesis de lectura es que elarte es posible sin estética si por estética se entiende sólo la exposición de lo belloque da placer visual. Sin embargo, el arte no se puede separar de la estética, siésta es comprendida como la manera en que las partes de una obra se muestranal mismo tiempo que la justificación para exponerlas de una forma o de otra. Seconcluye que la clave para la solución del problema referido a si es posible el artesin estética, se encuentra en la precisión filosófica, la consistencia y el sentidode pluralidad que Danto le da a la noción de significado encarnado en contraste,pero no en la incompatibilidad con la estética como exposición de lo bello que daplacer visual. La estética es indisoluble del arte sí y sólo si lo bello no es el eje centralde esta relación, sino algo que hace parte de la expresión artística. Estética no es sinónimo de belleza. Es decir, la belleza puede ser eludible para el arte. Sin embargo, la belleza no puede ser separada de la vida humana porque constituye un valor para los hombres porque es el encuentro positivo entre éstos.

Abstract:

Dois experimentos foram conduzidos com o objetivo de comparar os efeitos das moagens conjunta e separada dos ingredientes e das formas físicas da ração sobre o desempenho dos frangos de corte e sobre o peso dos órgãos digestivos. No primeiro experimento foram utilizadas 1200 aves da linhagem Avian Farms, de 1 a 43 dias de idade e no segundo, 256 aves da mesma linhagem, de 1 a 41 dias de idade. Os tratamentos consistiram de dois sistemas de moagem (conjunta e separada) e duas formas físicas (granulada e farelada) das rações. Aos 43 dias de idade os frangos que consumiram as dietas granuladas com moagem separada e conjunta e fareladas com moagem separada e conjunta pesaram 2,54, 2,48, 2,37 e 2,27kg/ave, respectivamente. O consumo de alimento teve a seguinte ordem decrescente: 4,73, 4,88, 4,54 e 4,35kg/ave para as rações granuladas com moagem separada e conjunta e rações fareladas com moagem separada e conjunta, respectivamente (P<0,05). A melhor conversão alimentar foi obtida com a ração granulada submetida à moagem separada e a mortalidade mais elevada foi observada nas aves que receberam a dieta granulada com moagem conjunta. Os pesos da moela e do pâncreas (% peso corporal) foram menores (P<0,05) com a ração granulada e moagem conjunta .

AbstractThe oriental armyworm, Mythimna separata is an important crop pest in eastern Asia. Nocturnal insects, including nocturnal moths, have phototactic behavior to an artificial light source. Phototactic behavior in insects is species-specific in response to different wavelengths of light sources. Our previous study showed that green (520 nm) light emitting diode (LED) light resulted in a significantly higher phototactic behavior in M. separata moths compared to the other wavelength LED lights. The goal of the present study is to investigate the influence of green light illumination on biological characteristics of different developmental stages in M. separata. Our results revealed that when different developmental stages of M. separata were exposed to the green light illumination in a dark period, several biological characteristics in all developmental stages except for egg stage were positively changed, but those of F1 generation M. separata which are next generation of the adults exposed to the green light did not significantly change compared with the control level. These findings suggest that green light illumination at night (or dark period) has a positive effect on the development and longevity of M. separata.

Entre 1903 y 1927, las élites en Lima y Manila se movilizaron en torno a la defensa de su amenazada integridad territorial. La creación de una administración militar estadounidense separada para las poblaciones musulmanas y lumad (no cristianas) en el archipiélago de Sulu y en el centro y sur de Mindanao fue seguida por conversaciones sobre la separación permanente de estos territorios de las Filipinas, e incluso sobre la anexión completa por parte del recientemente llegado poder colonial (Gowing, 1977; Abinales, 2000). Más o menos en el mismo período, las élites peruanas en Lima también expresaban sus preocupaciones por la posibilidad de la desposesión territorial, en su caso, de los vastos territorios de selva a lo largo de las orillas del río Putumayo, que podrían cometer secesión o acabar en manos de la vecina República de Colombia (Basadre, 1961). La enorme distancia geográfica que separa a Perú de las Filipinas, así como la diferencia en el estatus político entre una república independiente y lo que era aún una posesión colonial, podrían verse como condiciones que impiden un estudio comparativo fructífero entre ambos. No obstante, en este artículo propongo analizar estos procesos dentro de un marco discursivo que puede trascender estas distancias: el del «destino heredado».

Abstract:

A antracnose é a doença pós-colheita mais importante do maracujá amarelo, cujo agente etiológico, no Brasil, foi identificado como Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. Visando caracterizar o patógeno, foram obtidos 33 isolados de três regiões produtoras do estado de Pernambuco. Critérios morfológicos como cor de colônia, forma e dimensão de conídios, a produção de peritécio e o uso de primers específicos para C. acutatum, C. gloeosporioides e "Colletotrichum de Passiflora" permitiram identificar Glomerella cingulata patótipo 1, G. cingulata patótipo 2, Colletotrichum sp. de Passiflora e Colletotrichum sp. de maracujá amarelo. Inoculações em maracujá amarelo possibilitaram separar os isolados em dois grupos, um de agressividade alta (GA-1) e outro de agressividade baixa (GA-2). Os marcadores bioquímicos como atividade enzimática amilolítica, celulolítica, lipolítica e proteolítica assim como o marcador fisiológico crescimento micelial não separaram os isolados pela agressividade. O padrão de marcas geradas pela amplificação dos DNAs dos isolados usando primers RAPD evidenciou que os isolados do GA-1 variaram menos geneticamente entre si do que os isolados do GA-2, demonstrando que os do GA-1 evoluíram mais recentemente. A amplificação do DNA dos isolados com o primer OPA-9 gerou um marcador que possibilitou caracterizar 85,7% dos isolados do GA-1 e também alguns isolados do GA-2 com agressividade próxima às dos isolados do GA-1, e por isto o primer OPA-9 pode ser usado para caracterizar isolados de Colletotrichum spp. de alta agressividade em programa de resistência genética.

Abstract:

The objective of these studies were to observe efficiency material formulations of MsNPV and the influence to rice plantation on different locations (Indramayu (3 m above sea level), Sukabumi (400m above sea level) and Bogor (250 m above sea level) to larvae of rice army worm. This study used randomized block design with 4 treatments consisted of 3 formulation materials (talc, kaolin and gypsum) and control in five replications. Observations were done to life and death larvae on 5, 10, 15 days after inoculation and leaf damaged. Data were analysed with DMRT. Results from this study indicated that material talc formulation was more effective because all the material was dissolve as compare to material kaolin and gypsum formulations while the material were precipitated. Utilize these three material formulations on three different locations above sea level gave the same impact to the mortality army worm larvae and also to the plant damage.

AbstractFraxinellone is a naturally occurring degraded limonoid isolated from many species of plants in Meliaceae and Rutaceae. Besides structural modification of the lead compounds, the toxicology study of the lead compounds is also a very important procedure to develop insecticidal agents. Herein the toxicology study of fraxinellone was carried out as the ovicidal agent against the eggs of two lepidopteran insects Mythimna separata Walker and Bombyx mori Linaeus. Fraxinellone selectively exhibited an ovicidal activity against the eggs of M. separata. After treatment with fraxinellone, the eggshells of M. separata were shrinked, whereas those of B. mori had no obvious change. The dynamic process of M. separata embryo development demonstrated that the distinct difference between the treated eggs and the control ones was obvious at the second day after treatment, especially, the control embryo finished blastokinesis, whereas the treated ones were still laid at pre-reversion status and a lot of yolk can be seen around the embryo. It ultimately resulted in the eggshell withered and the egg hatching inhibited.

Abstract:

Background The cultivation of Bt maize (maize genetically modified with Bacillus thuringiensis) continues to expand globally. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), an important kind of microorganism closely related to soil fertility and plant nutrition, may influence the ecological risk of target lepidopteran pests in Bt crops. Methods In this study, transgenic Bt maize (Line IE09S034 with Cry1Ie vs. its parental line of non-Bt maize cv. Xianyu335) was inoculated with a species of AMF, Glomus caledonium (GC). Its effects on the food utilization, reproduction and development of armyworm, Mythimna separata, were studied in a potted experiment from 2017 to 2018. Results GC inoculation increased the AMF colonization of both modified and non-modified maize, and also increased the grain weight per plant and 1,000-grain weight of modified and non-modified maize. However, the cultivation of Bt maize did not significantly affect the AMF colonization. The feeding of M. separata with Bt maize resulted in a notable decrease in RCR (relative consumption rate), RGR (relative growth rate), AD (approximate digestibility), ECD (efficiency of conversion of digested food) and ECI (efficiency of conversion of ingested food) parameters in comparison to those observed in larvae fed with non-Bt maize in 2017 and 2018, regardless of GC inoculation. Furthermore, remarkable prolongation of larval life span and decreases in the rate of pupation, weight of pupa, rate of eclosion, fecundity and adult longevity of M. separata were observed in the Bt treatment regardless of GC inoculation during the two-year experiment. Also, when M. separata was fed with Bt maize, a significant prolongation of larval life and significant decreases in the pupal weight, fecundity and adult longevity of M. separata were observed when inoculated with GC. However, it was just the opposite for larvae fed with non-Bt maize that was inoculated with GC. The increased percentage of larval life-span, the decreased percentages of the food utilization, and the other indexes of reproduction, growth, and development of M. separata fed on Bt maize relative to non-Bt maize were all visibly lower when under GC inoculation in contrast to the CK. Discussion It is presumed that Bt maize has a marked adverse impact on M. separata development, reproduction and feeding, especially when in combination with the GC inoculation. Additionally, GC inoculation favors the effectiveness of Bt maize against M. separata larvae by reducing their food utilization ability, which negatively affects the development and reproduction of the armyworm. Thus, Bt maize inoculated with AMF (here, GC) can reduce the severe threats arising of armyworms, and hence the AMF inoculation may play an important ecological functions in the field of Bt maize ecosystem, with potentially high control efficiency for the target lepidopteran pests.

Background Bt crops will face a new ecological risk of reduced effectiveness against target-insect pests owing to the general decrease in exogenous-toxin content in Bt crops grown under elevated carbon dioxide (CO2). The method chosen to deal with this issue may affect the sustainability of transgenic crops as an effective pest management tool, especially under future atmospheric CO2 level raising. Methods In this study, rhizobacterias, as being one potential biological regulator to enhance nitrogen utilization efficiency of crops, was selected and the effects of Bt maize (Line IE09S034 with Cry1Ie vs. its parental line of non-Bt maize Xianyu 335) infected by Azospirillum brasilense (AB) and Azotobacter chroococcum (AC) on the development and food utilization of the target Mythimna separate under ambient and double-ambient CO2 in open-top chambers from 2016 to 2017. Results The results indicated that rhizobacteria infection significantly increased the larval life-span, pupal duration, relative consumption rate and approximate digestibility of M. separata, and significantly decreased the pupation rate, pupal weight, adult longevity, fecundity, relative growth rate, efficiency of conversion of digested food and efficiency of conversion of ingested food of M. separata fed on Bt maize, while here were opposite trends in development and food utilization of M. separata fed on non-Bt maize infected with AB and AC compared with the control buffer in 2016 and 2017 regardless of CO2 level. Discussion Simultaneously, elevated CO2 and Bt maize both had negative influence on the development and food utilization of M. separata. Presumably, CO2 concentration arising in future significantly can increase their intake of food and harm to maize crop; however, Bt maize infected with rhizobacterias can reduce the field hazards from M. separata and the application of rhizobacteria infection can enhance the resistance of Bt maize against target lepidoptera pests especially under elevated CO2.

Seventeen novel N-phenylbenzamide derivatives bearing a trifluoromethylpyrimidine moiety were synthesized via four-step reactions. Their antifungal and insecticidal properties were evaluated. Antifungal test results demonstrated that some of the synthesized compounds showed better in vitro bioactivities against Phomopsis sp., Botryosphaeria dothidea (B. dothidea), and Botrytis cinerea (B. cinerea) at 50 μg/mL than pyrimethanil. Unfortunately, the synthesized compounds revealed lower insecticidal activities against Spodoptera frugiperda (S. frugiperda) and Mythimna separata (M. separata) at 500 μg/mL than chlorantraniliprole.

Mythimna separata is a major agricultural pest with seasonal migrating trait in China. Formation and regulation mechanism of migration behavior has resulted in a large number of fundamental researches involving quantitative studies of gene expression in this species. Using appropriate reference gene is critical in RT-qPCR data normalization. A comprehensive study on the reference genes in M. separata is lacking. In this paper, expression stabilities of ten candidate reference genes were evaluated in M. separata under various biotic and abiotic conditions by employing four different software geNorm, NormFinder, BestKeeper, and the comparative ΔCT method. The comprehensive stabilities ranking of these genes were suggested by RefFinder. PKG as a target gene was employed to justify the number of reference genes in four larval tissues and two photoperiod treatments. Results demonstrate that the first three most stable genes were as follows: EF, CypA, and β-TUB for developmental stages; EF, CypA, and RPL12 for larval tissues; EF, TBP, and β-TUB for adult tissues. RPL12, β-TUB, and EF for densities; EF, RPL12, and GAPDH for photoperiod treatments; β-TUB, EF, and ATPase for temperature treatments. Stable reference gene combinations may reduce bias in normalization. This work provides for the first time a comprehensive list of appropriate reference genes and facilitates future studies on gene function of M. separata.
