Abstract:

Przeprowadzone badania dotyczyły określenia możliwości wykorzystania substratu jonitowego i archebakterii do wspomagania rozwoju roślin na gruntach jałowych (np. na nasypach dróg, skarpach mostów itp.). Realizacja badań wymagała przeprowadzenia doświadczenia wazonowego z kupkówką pospolitą jako gatunkiem testowym. Na potrzeby eksperymentu przygotowano dwie podstawowe serie podłoży: serię kontrolną – piasek (model jałowego gruntu) i serię stanowiącą mieszaninę piasku i 2% (objętościowo) dodatku substratu jonitowego (nośnik pierwiastków odżywczych roślin). W trakcie wegetacji roślin połowę liczby wazonów serii kontrolnej podlewano wodą wodociągową, natomiast drugą połowę podlewano wodą wodociągową wzbogaconą w archebakterie pochodzące z preparatu komercyjnego Arkea® firmy Archaea SolutionsTM. Analogicznie postąpiono z wazonami zawierającymi mieszaninę piasku z dodatkiem substratu jonitowego. Po zakończeniu doświadczenia stwierdzono, że dodatek substratu jonitowego do piasku korzystnie wpłynął na proces wzrostu i rozwoju roślin istotnie zwiększając wartości parametrów wegetacyjnych. Wbrew oczekiwaniom nie zaobserwowano pozytywnego oddziaływania drobnoustrojów z domeny Archeae na proces wegetacji gatunku testowego. Dodatek substratu jonitowego można polecić jako materiał wspomagający rozwój pokrywy roślinnej na terenach zdegradowanych i obiektach infrastruktury drogowej.

Abstract:

Manihot spp. (family Euphorbiaceae), commonly known as pornunça, is a forage plant that has been used in animal feed. This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of different conditions of organic adduction and cuts on the growth, productivity, and partition of aerial phytomass of pornunça in the Brazilian semiarid region. This work is part of a study to discover species of the Brazilian caatinga biome with agricultural potential. An experiment was conducted in the region of Cubatí - PB, Brazil, mesorregion of Borborema, and microregion of Seridó Oriental. The experimental design included randomized blocks with subdivided plots comprising two manure plots (bovine and ovine) and four cut subplots (February, June and October 2011, and February 2012). The sprout height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of branches, green matter of the complete fraction, leaf green matter, green matter of the petiole, and green matter of the branch were evaluated. For sprout height, stem diameter (≤ 1.0 cm), green matter of the complete fraction, green matter of leaf limb, green petiole matter, and green matter of the branch, the best results were obtained in the first and second cuts. In contrast, the first and third cuttings allowed the management of a greater number of leaves and a greater number of branches of pornunça using both cattle manure and sheep manure and exhibited a morphophysiological characteristic of adaptation to the xeric environment, being a water deficit tolerant plant.

Abstract:

Od czasu pojawienia się pierwszych automatów do grania w Pong (1972) gry wideo uległy ogromnej ewolucji – od mało skomplikowanych produkcji opartych na prostych mechanizmach po wysokobudżetowe i skomplikowane rozgrywki. Wraz z technicznym rozwojem gier ich twórcy zaczęli także większą wagę przywiązywać do warstwy narracyjnej, przez co, badając recepcję graczy, zaczęto używać terminu „immersja”, zaczerpniętego z nauk psychologicznych i literaturoznawczych. Narracja w grach nie jest już tą samą narracją znaną z innych, tradycyjnych mediów. Tu odbiorca, wykorzystując skonstruowaną przez twórców mechanikę danej gry i dokonując (linearnych bądź alinearnych) wyborów, tworzy de facto własną opowieść. Bez jego zaangażowania w rozgrywkę niemożliwe jest pełne poznanie danej historii. Immersyjne elementy można zauważyć w wielu grach zaprojektowanych dla jednego użytkownika (gry typu single player), które w sposobienarracji coraz bardziej przypominają konstrukcje stricte filmowe, czego przykładem jest seria gier The Last of Us stworzona przez studio Naughty Dog. Akcja serii toczy się w postapokaliptycznych Stanach Zjednoczonych. Osobowość bohaterów, dialogi, złożoność wykreowanego świata oraz pewne, opisane w tym opracowaniu zabiegi fabularne spowodowały, że seria wzbudza silne emocje. Świadczą o tym oceny krytyków – The Last of Us i jej kontynuacja były wielokrotnie nominowane do tytułu gry roku, a ich średnia ocen według GameRankings i Metacritic plasuje je w czołówce najlepiej ocenianych gier wideo w historii. W artykule autor analizuje fabułę oraz najważniejsze elementy mechaniki serii, by pokazać drogę, jaką przeszły gry wideo od początku swojego istnienia do współczesnych form narracji. Odpowiada także na pytanie, co ostatecznie spowodowało, że seria The Last of Us stała się jedną z najlepiej sprzedających się nowych marek w dziejach konsoli PlayStation.

Abstract:

Introducción: el glaucoma es una enfermedad del nervio óptico de carácter crónico y progresivo que constituye un problema epidemiológico serio, ya que es responsable de la segunda causa de ceguera irreversible en el mundo. Existen diferentes modalidades de tratamiento, entre ellos medicamentos, láseres y cirugías. La trabeculectomía es el procedimiento quirúrgico de elección en el paciente adulto cuando la terapia médica y los procedimientos con láser fracasan en detener esta neuropatía óptica.Objetivo: analizar una serie de pacientes sometidos a trabeculectomía en el Hospital San Ignacio entre el 2005 y el 2011.Conclusión: los resultados, a pesar de ser una serie pequeña de pacientes, nos permiten afirmar que dicha cirugía continúa siendo una buena alternativa en el control de la presión intraocular y, por consiguiente, en la progresión del daño glaucomatoso sobre el nervio óptico.

Neste trabalho caracterizamos as relações de contato entre aquelas Formações do Grupo Seridó como típicas de ambiente sedimentar com contribuições básicas – ultrabásicas e propomos a inclusão desta Província Metalogenética Cuprífera entre as demais da Província Borborema. In this study we characterized the relationship of contact between those formations of the Seridó Group as typical of sedimentary environment with basic – ultrabasic contributions and propose the inclusion of this Copper Belt province among others from the Metallogenetic Borborema Province. Djan Seriy Anaplian es, posiblemente, el personaje femenino más completo creado por Iain M. Banks para su serie sobre la Cultura (1987-2013). En Matter (2008) [Materia, 2010] Anaplian comparte protagonismo con sus hermanastros Ferbin y Oramen pero ella es la verdadera heroína. Como mujer, Djan Seriy es una paria en su patriarcal país natal, y eventualmente se convierte en tránsfuga en la utopía de Banks, la Cultura. Nacida princesa en el anticuado reino de su padre, el Rey Hausk, Djan es criada para ser usada en una alianza matrimonial según decida el rey. La Cultura rescata a Anaplian para transformarla en ciudadana libre posthumana y, más tarde, en agente secreto de Circunstancias Especiales (convirtiéndose así en paria interna). No obstante, la singular trayectoria de Anaplian, su empoderamiento personal y su ambigua actitud hacia la Cultura no han sido abordados por los estudiosos de Banks pese a demostrar su posicionamiento anti-patriarcal. Este es el tema que se examina en este artículo.

El método de testeo usado fue el “Método de Doble estímulo con referencia escondida”. Los resultados han sido validados estadísticamente con ANOVA de dos factores (Análisis de Varianzas”). Para la descripción estadística y los resultados, el valor medio de los codecs y los intervalos de confidencia son presentados. </span></p>

Este artículo asume que el instinto propone una solución expeditiva para la cultura contemporánea, homogeneizando múltiples manifestaciones que van desde la intensidad protectora de lo maternal y la perdición irremisible de lo sexual, hasta el irrefrenable anhelo asesino. Nuestra hipótesis sostiene que esta categoría se conforma como un “andamiaje semiótico” cuya función sería la de traducir la irracionalidad humana. En diálogo con el semiólogo Yuri Lotman y el filósofo Michel Foucault, diremos que textos artísticos como las series de TV serán un terreno fértil para poner en cuestión cómo se reactivan hipotéticos instintos, en torno a una noción de “anomalía” y en relación con los complejos mecanismos que aseguran su domesticación y su control. Analizaremos la serie The Fall, narrativa donde la poliédrica construcción de un instinto en la figura ficcional del asesino serial no fluye de manera aislada, pues lo sexual comulga para conformar un complejo orden de lo instintual. En tal sentido, el relato captura la imposibilidad de plantear la problemática del instinto sin recalar en las identidades individuales y colectivas, como también en los regímenes que las sostienen. En función de ello, el instinto se desprendería parcialmente de su carácter biológico, deviniendo categoría semiótica de análisis: operatoria textual que permite atender a dominios cognoscitivos, al tiempo que pone de manifiesto aspectos éticos en una comprensión determinista de subjetividades sobre las cuales las culturas inscriben sus sentidos.

Abstract:

O objetivo do trabalho é analisar como o Oriente figura nos escritos de Marx. Partimos das contribuições de Edward Said que identifica Marx como um autor orientalista, para averiguar em que medida o palestino acerta em seu diagnóstico. Said parte dos escritos de Marx de 1853 a respeito do colonialismo britânico na Índia e chega à conclusão que o alemão, assim como toda a intelligentsia europeia do século XIX, enxerga o Oriente como um local estático, bárbaro e violento, em oposição à Europa, onde se localizaria a civilização. Neste sentido, embora matizado pelas condenações de cunho moral das atrocidades cometidas pelos colonizadores britânicos, Marx observa as perspectivas futuras da colonização por um viés em última instância positivo. Influenciado por uma filosofia da história hegeliana, Marx entende que, se a revolução comunista é o estágio final da história, tanto melhor que os países periféricos sejam tragados para o progresso e para a história universal pelas metrópoles. Haveria, de fato, um sentido na história e o colonialismo colocaria nela povos até então “fixos”, estanques. Said, porém, se limita aos artigos sobre a Índia de 1853. Gostaríamos, neste trabalho, de explorar textos de Marx sobre a China do mesmo período, além dos escritos da segunda metade da década de 1850 sobre os dois países e comparar a análise marxiana a respeito da situação indiana e chinesa nestes dois momentos distintos. A partir daí, procuraremos responder se a hipótese saidiana de inclusão de Marx como autor orientalista se sustenta ou não. Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to analyze how the East figures in Marx's writings. We start with the contributions of Edward Said who identifies Marx as an Orientalist author, to ascertain to what extent the Palestinian is correct in his diagnosis. Said departs from Marx's writings of 1853 on British colonialism in India, and he comes to the conclusion that the German, like the whole European intelligentsia of the nineteenth century, sees the Orient as a static, barbaric and violent place, as opposed to Europe, where the civilization would be located. In this sense, although tempered by the moral condemnations of the atrocities committed by the British settlers, Marx observes the future prospects of colonization by an ultimately positive bias. Influenced by a Hegelian philosophy of history, Marx understands that if communist revolution is the final stage of history, so much better that peripheral countries are swallowed up by progress and put into the universal history by metropolises. Indeed, there would be a meaning in history, and colonialism would place in it peoples that were previously "fixed", watertight. Said, however, is limited to the articles on India of 1853. We would like to explore Marx's texts about China from the same period, in addition to the writings of the second half of the 1850s on the two countries, and compare Marxian analysis about the Indian and Chinese situation in these two different moments. From there, we will try to answer if the saidian hypothesis of inclusion of Marx as orientalist author supports or not. Key words: Marx; Orientalism; Colonialism. Recebido em: dezembro/2018.
