This research examined trends in gastrointestinal infections in tropical and subtropical regions over an 11-year period in Queensland. Higher rates were confirmed of Campylobacter and Salmonella GI infections in tropical than in temperate regions with rates increasing over time in both regions and an increased relative risk when the mean daily temperature exceeded temperature thresholds.
