<p>Siendo Carlos Villanueva y José Luis Sert dos personajes contemporáneos, sus obras no suelen relacionarse, ambos tenían la voluntad de conjugar las artes en una sola expresión, encontrar la emoción plástica del espacio.</p> <p>Los itinerarios propuestos, recorren parte de la geografía moderna que ambos transitaron: París, Caracas, Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Bolívar, y Saint Paul-de-Vence. Tres obras de cada arquitecto, de programas similares, de tres tipologías y momentos distintos, darán cuenta de la evolución de sus respectivas teorías, y con ello la evolución del concepto en distintos estadios de la modernidad. Sin abandonar los grandes caminos abiertos por Le Corbusier, buscaron adaptarse a unas topografías locales desde la impronta meridional y tropical de su cultura latina. En la aproximación a sus obras, sumaremos las reflexiones del artista Léger para definir un marco teórico dentro del amplio espectro histórico –en palabras del suizo- por “alcanzar una perfección absoluta en la ocupación del espacio.”</p>

Para la construcci?n de la tesis, reflexionamos sobre el sert?o como un lugar que educa. Basado en la filosof?a de la naturaleza, Merleau-Ponty, en alguna literatura del pa?s, libros sobre la obra del poeta de la canci?n (Jo?o Batista de Siqueira), en las directrices, en conversaciones con los bosquimanos do Cariri paraibano y Paje? Pernambuco, es posible pensar y entender la educaci?n por la relaci?n humana del interior con la naturaleza y la poes?a. En el campo de la reflexi?n epistemol?gica, entendemos que la educaci?n para la vida puede ser una ruta para entender el hombre de aprendizaje por medio de las relaciones y la construcci?n de un conocimiento compartido y experimentado a diario al nuevo aprendizaje. Involucrados con el fen?meno de Bush, la actitud fenomenol?gica era de fundamental importancia para poder caminar en los caminos de la investigaci?n, siempre teniendo cuidado para no ser un alojamiento antes de que el fen?meno investigado, pero s?, un punto de partida para la construcci?n de horizontes de sentido, dando otros significados para una mejor aproximaci?n. Es posible entender que la educaci?n es la experiencia vivida de los sertanejos con la naturaleza y la poes?a. Esta perspectiva fenomenol?gica revela que la educaci?n de Bush emerge del mundo vivi? de la monta?a, a trav?s del contacto sensible con otros animales, las plantas y la poes?a. Es una educaci?n corporal, como sucede en el universo de sensibilidad y abre el campo de la existencia humana, interconectado con los seres animados e inanimados do sert?o
Para constru??o desta tese, refletimos a respeito do sert?o como um lugar que educa. Fundamentados na filosofia da Natureza de Merleau-Ponty, em alguns livros da literatura sertaneja, na obra do poeta Canc?o (Jo?o Batista de Siqueira), nas orienta??es, nas conversas com os sertanejos do Cariri paraibano e do Paje? pernambucano, foi poss?vel pensar e compreender a educa??o emergida pela rela??o do homem do sert?o com a natureza, e a poesia. Abstract:
La hipótesis de este trabajo es que la obra americana del arquitecto Josep Lluis Sert (1902-1983) aparentemente homogénea, tiene tres etapas distintas, caracterizadas por la evolución de los intereses formales de su autor.

La primera es la de atención predominante al envoltorio o superficie del edificio, con dos periodos denominados, respectivamente, "la piel gruesa" y "la piel delgada". La segunda es la de utilización extensiva de la fragmentación del volumen del edificio para lograr valores de escala humana. La tercera es la de una búsqueda de control de la configuración de los espacios con utilización de trazados proporcionales y geometrías puras para los espacios más singulares.

El estudio parte del inventario de unos 30 edificios proyectados entre 1955 y 1980 en la oficina de Sert en Cambridge, Massachusetts. Analiza, a lo largo de 4 capítulos, 417 páginas escritas y más de 240 ilustraciones, los más significativos de aquellos edificios, situándolos en contexto y justificando en cada caso su pertenencia a una etapa determinada. Además de los capítulos, reúne en cuatro apéndices una reseña diacrónica de temas complementarios: contexto americano, clientes, colaboradores y, finalmente, ideas. Ello permite la lectura del contenido a dos velocidades. La fuente principal de documentación la constituye la propia experiencia del autor, colaborador durante más de doce años del maestro Sert, a la cual se une material original elaborado a partir de 1983.

Backland? are not only geographic spaces limited by physically established borders. It is a space composed by events, experiences, behavior, symbology, manners related to how to live and see the world. It is developed from historical processes and layers of discourses that contact each other, compete among themselves, establish agreement, promote consensus which define, resignify and update them over time. The present paper seeks to analyze and discuss the forms in which discourses produced by cordel literature? sold and consumed in popular locations, from backlands to coast cities, during the first four decades of 20th century, represented the environment, habits, moral codes, cultural traits, social types, rites and beliefs, related to northeastern backlands. The paper also aims to investigate the forms on how discourses produced by representations contributed to the constitution of backlands as a space culturally constructed. Poems from the poet and editor Jo?o Martins de Athayde will be used to establish dialogues between discourses produced by cordel and others discursive modalities, such as, newspapers, prose literature, painting, texts of memoirists and historiography, about backlands, analyzing how those representations circulated, were consumed and absorbed by backlands and other spaces inhabitants, contacted and agreed with other types of discourse, supporting the establishment of backlands as a space and countryside people as a social type

Ele ? espa?o constitu?do por acontecimentos, experi?ncias, costumes, simbologias, modos de viver e ver o mundo. ? espa?o desenvolvido a partir de processos hist?ricos e camadas de discursos que travam contatos umas com as outras, concorrem entre si, estabelecem acordos, promovem consensos que o definem, ressignificam e atualizam ao longo do tempo. Esse trabalho tem como objetivo analisar e discutir as formas como os discursos produzidos pela Literatura de Cordel vendida e consumida nos locais de circula??o popular, nas cidades do sert?o e do litoral, durante as quatro primeiras d?cadas do S?culo XX, representaram o ambiente, os costumes, c?digos morais, tra?os culturais, tipos sociais, ritos e cren?as, associadas ao sert?o nordestino, bem como ser?o investigadas as formas como os discursos produzidos por essas representa??es contribu?ram com a constitui??o do sert?o enquanto espa?o culturalmente constru?do. This study explores the symbolism of evil way in the novel Grande sert?o: veredas, by Guimar?es Rosa, regarding faustian pact by Goethe, and so tries to understand how the rosiana language are present to the strategies which put in suspense the effectiveness of the demonic agreement and enable, with poetic intensity, different interpretations, especially as regards the anguish of the human condition. This research thus has drawn upon the Mythical Symbolism, in Literary Criticism and aspects of Metaphysics, in addition to analyzing classic literary essays in approaching of Rosa s masterpiece structure. It has also demonstrated that the incorporation of the Faust legend in Grande sert?o reflects the same desire for happiness that is not done completely, and in this manner, instigates a discussion about the limits to the satisfaction of being human. Therefore, it has observed that epic narrative of ex-gangster Riobaldo to the doctor of city speculates on human man, in the continuous learning of his passing

Abstract:
Background: Serotonin (5-HT) and its neurotrophic support system, specifically brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), are thought to modulate energy homeostasis and susceptibility to obesity. Moreover, a polymorphism (5-HTTLPR) in the serotonin reuptake transporter (5-HTT) gene impairs its transcription, thereby altering serotonergic tone and potentially contributing to such susceptibility. This study aims to investigate the effect of BDNF, biallelic 5-HTTLPR, and central in-vivo 5-HTT availability in highly obese versus non-obese subjects using positron emission tomography (PET) and 5-HTT selective [11C]DASB. Methods: Thirty-eight subjects, 24 obese (body mass index, BMI, >35 kg/m2), otherwise mentally and physically healthy, and 14 non-obese (BMI ≤ 25 kg/m2), age- and sex-matched healthy controls were included in this study. Parametric images of binding potential were generated from PET data. Central 5-HTT availability, 5-HTTLPR genotype, and serum BDNF concentrations were analyzed, first in a volume of interest, then in a voxel-wise manner. Results: Overall, our results showed an absence of a linear correlation between BDNF, in-vivo central 5-HTT availability, and body mass index (BMI). 5-HTTLPR genotyping revealed BDNF and hippocampal 5-HTT availability to be negatively correlated (r = −0.57, p = 0.007) in long allelic homozygotes. However, obese subjects exhibited opposing effects of BDNF levels on 5-HTT availability in the nucleus accumbens (NAcc) relative to our non-obese controls. Conclusions: Our data did not confirm an overall correlation between serum BDNF, in-vivo central 5-HTT availability, 5-HTTLPR, and BMI. However, there is evidence that serotonergic tone linked to BDNF, specifically in the NAcc, is involved in the pathophysiology of obesity, although this needs further exploration over a wide range of reward-related eating behaviors.

L'obiettivo principale di questo lavoro ? valutare le difficolt? di comprensione e di identificazione nella ricezione da parte della cultura italiana dell'opera Grande sert?o: veredas, da quelle trovate, in modo pionieristico, dal traduttore italiano, a quelle che sono state percepite e indicate al momento della lettura dai critici, dagli accademici, dall'autore di questo lavoro e, soprattutto, dai lettori comuni, mostrando, allo stesso tempo, che i problemi avuti dagli italiani nella traduzione esistono, sotto certi aspetti, anche per i brasiliani urbani, poich? la dimensione linguistico-geografica presente nel romanzo ? cos? peculiare, che perfino molti lettori di lingua portoghese ignorano il mondo plasmato dal linguaggio di Guimar?es Rosa rivelando una esacerbazione della questione universale espressa nella formula "traduttori, traditori". Partendo da tutto ci?, abbiamo cercato di dimostrare che, sebbene la traduzione di Edoardo Bizzarri abbia raggiunto un eccellente risultato, l'opera rosiana, cos? come nella poesia e di pi? di qualsiasi altra narrativa, comporta, nel passaggio da un idioma all'altro, perdite irrimediabili, tanto relative all'armonia musicale e ritmica, quanto alla richezza semantica che si occulta nel testo originale
O objetivo principal deste trabalho ? avaliar as dificuldades de compreens?o e de identifica??o na recep??o pela cultura italiana da obra Grande sert?o: veredas, desde as encontradas de modo inaugural pelo tradutor italiano, como tamb?m as que foram sentidas e indicadas no momento de sua leitura pelos cr?ticos, acad?micos, pelo autor desta pesquisa, mas, sobretudo, pelos leitores comuns, mostrando, por outro lado, que os problemas encontrados pelos italianos na tradu??o existem, sob certos aspectos, para os brasileiros urbanos, pois a dimens?o lingu?stico-geogr?fica presente no romance ? t?o peculiar que at? mesmo muitos leitores de l?ngua portuguesa desconhecem o mundo moldado pela linguagem de Guimar?es Rosa o que revela um acirramento da quest?o universal expressa na f?rmula "traduttori, traditori". Este trabalho contempla eventos e pr?ticas de letramento em contexto de pol?ticas p?blicas antidrogas, mais precisamente, na atua??o de policiais militares do Programa Educacional de Resist?ncia ?s Drogas (PROERD). Esses formadores desenvolvem a??es voltadas para a preven??o ao abuso de drogas l?citas e ao uso de drogas il?citas, bem como divulgam, atrav?s de relatos, suas a??es, iniciativas e campanhas de preven??o em uma rede operativa virtual. Assim sendo, a pesquisa proposta tem como objeto de estudo os posts do blog PROERD no Sert?o, publicados por policiais militares da regi?o do Serid?/RN. Sua configura??o em dom?nio virtual contempla posts de a??es desenvolvidas junto a alunos de escolas p?blicas do Ensino Fundamental e comunidade, na perspectiva de chamar a aten??o para a preven??o quanto ao uso e abuso de drogas l?citas e il?citas. Em termos te?ricos, apoia-se nos pressupostos dos Estudos de Letramento como pr?tica social (BARTON; HAMILTON, 1993, 1998, 2000; KLEIMAN, 1995, 2008; STREET, 1984; OLIVEIRA, 2008, 2010; ROJO, 2009), na teoria dos g?neros (OLIVEIRA, 2010; BRONCKART, 2004, 2006), nos estudos dos elementos de dimens?o pragm?tica, esquem?tica e lingu?stica (KOCH; F?VERO, 1987), nos estudos da multimodalidade (KRESS; VAN LEEUWEN, 2006 [1996]; DION?SIO, 2006; SANTAELLA, 2012; ALMEIDA, 2011), nos conceitos de agenciamento (BANDURA, 2001), hipertexto e hiperm?dia (NOJOSA, 2007; KOMESU, 2004; GOMES, 2010; KARWOSKY, 2012; FERRARI, 2007), bem como nos fundamentos que tematizam linguagem e trabalho (SOUZA-E-SILVA, 2002; DUARTE; FEITOSA, 1998; PAZ, 2008, 2010). Metodologicamente, a investiga??o se insere no campo da Lingu?stica Aplicada (MOITA-LOPES, 1996, 2006; PENNYCOOK, 2006), segue abordagem de natureza qualitativa e assume caracter?sticas da pesquisa explicativa (MOREIRA; CALEFFE, 2006; BOGDAN; BIKLEN, 1994; MINAYO, 2010; CHIZZOTTI, 2005). A gera??o de dados se desenvolve por meio de t?cnicas padronizadas (GIL, 1994) que compreendem entrevistas e question?rios, as quais possibilitam o ?cruzamento? ou a triangula??o de informa??es (COX; ASSIS-PETERSON, 2001). As discuss?es dos dados convergem para a revisita??o das categorias (elementos e componentes) propostas por Hamilton (2000), ao analisar eventos e pr?ticas de letramento, assim como para a focaliza??o dos movimentos verticais (telerrealidade, cibercultura) e horizontais (conviv?ncia/televiv?ncia; local/global; espa?o geogr?fico/eletr?nico) que se presentificam no hiperdom?nio (ciberespa?o, blogosfera). A relev?ncia da pesquisa situa-se no fato de trazer para o ?mbito acad?mico t?picos espec?ficos do dom?nio do trabalho, mais precisamente do ?mbito da pol?tica de seguran?a p?blica, com vistas a contribuir para a amplia??o dos Estudos de Letramento. Igualmente, a import?ncia social da pesquisa constitui-se significativa pelo fato de trazer visibilidade acad?mica para os colaboradores, vislumbrando-os como agentes potenciais da seguran?a p?blica, capazes de realizar mudan?as sociais em termos de a??o instrumental e de a??o simb?lica ou comunicativa (MAGALH?ES, 1994), tornando a pr?tica de produ??o de posts uma a??o autoconsciente e reflexiva, mesmo em meio ?s contradi??es dos processos sociais que dificultam a plena efetiva??o das Pol?ticas P?blicas Antidrogas no Brasil.
This study consists of the analyses of literacy events and practices in an anti-drug public policy context, more precisely with research locus formed by the operation of military police officers from PROERD (Educational Program of Resistance to Drugs). The aforementioned trainers perform actions intended to prevent licit and illicit drug abuse, as well as divulge their actions, initiatives and prevention campaigns through actions? reports in a virtual operating network. Therefore, the object of study are the posts from the blog ?PROERD no Sert?o? (PROERD in the backlands) created by military police officers from the region of Serid?/RN. In virtual domain, it contemplates posts of the actions developed along with students from Elementary public schools and community, with a view to direct attention to the prevention of licit and illicit drug use and abuse. The study aims to analyze the literacy events and practices implemented by PROED officers in respect to the productions and publishing of posts in the referred blog. In theoretical terms, it is based on the pressupositions of Literacy Studies as social practice (BARTON; HAMILTON, 1993, 1998, 2000; KLEIMAN, 1995, 2008; STREET, 1984; OLIVEIRA, 2008, 2010; ROJO, 2009), on genre theory (OLIVEIRA, 2010; BRONCKART, 2004, 2006), on studies of elements of linguistic, schematic and pragmatic dimension (KOCH; F?VERO, 1987), on studies about multimodality (KRESS and VAN LEEUWEN, 2006 [1996]; DION?SIO, 2006; SANTAELLA, 2012; ALMEIDA, 2011), on concepts of agency (BANDURA, 2001), hypertext and hypermedia (NOJOSA, 2007; KOMESU 2004; GOMES, 2010; KARWOSKY, 2012; FERRARI, 2007), as well as on fundamentals which have language and work as theme (SOUZA and SILVA, 2002; DUARTE; FEITOSA, 1998; PAZ, 2008, 2010). Methodologically, this investigation inserts into the Applied Linguistics field (MOITA-LOPES, 1996, 2006; PENNYCOOK, 2006) and follows a qualitative approach, bearing descriptive research characteristics (MOREIRA; CALEFFE, 2006; BOGDAN; BIKLEN, 1994; MINAYO, 2010; CHIZZOTTI, 2005). Data generation was developed through standard techniques (GIL, 1994) which comprise interviews and questionnaires and enable the ?intersection? or triangulation of information (COX; ASSIS-PETERSON, 2001). Data discussion converge to the revisitation of categories (elements and components) proposed by Hamilton (2000), when analyzing literacy events and practices, as well as the focalization of vertical (tele-reality, cyberculture) and horizontal (living/tele-living; local/global; geographical/electronic space) movements that are evoked in hyperdomain (cyberspace, blogsphere). The relevance of this study lies in the fact of bringing specific topics from the work domain to the academic realm, more specifically from the public security policy with a view to contribute to the expansion of Literacy Studies. Equally, the social importance of this study is significant due to the academic visibility it provides for the collaborators, depicting them as potential agents of public security, able to make social changes in terms of instrumental and communicative or symbolic action (MAGALH?ES, 1994). This makes the practice of writing posts a self-conscious and reflexive action, even amid the contradictions of the social processes, which hamper the full effectuation of Anti-drug Public Policies in Brazil.

Abstract:
Lietuvoje pastatų energinio naudingumo sertifikavimas atliekamas naudojant NRG-sert programą, kuri atlieka skaičiavimus pagal STR 2.01.09:2012 reglamentą. Šilumos pritekėjimų skaičiavimas, įvairių koeficientų reikšmės ir kiti aspektai kelia abe-jonių dėl gaunamų rezultatų, ypač lyginant juos su faktinėmis pastatų energijos sąnaudomis. Šiame darbe lyginamos faktinės konkretaus pastato energijos sąnaudos su dviejomis programomis (NRG-sert ir Design Buider) apskaičiuotais poreikiais. Skaičiavimai parodė, kad Design Builder rezultatai nesiskiria daugiau kaip 5 % nuo faktinių pastato šilumos sąnaudų. NRG-sert apskaičiuotas šilumos poreikis yra 29 % didesnis nei faktinės šilumos sąnaudos, o elektros 71 % mažesnės nei faktinės. Nustatyta, kad pastato energijos poreikiams labai didelę įtaką daro sunkiai apskaičiuo-jami ir dažnai tik įvairiais koeficientais vertinami duomenys, tokie kaip pastato užimtumas, vartotojų elgsena, vidiniai ir išo-riniai šilumos pritekėjimai. Šie veiksniai stipriai mažina skaičiavimo rezultatų patikimumą.

Abstract:
Globalement, la bioéconomie peut être définie comme le domaine de l'économie basée sur les produits, services et processus dérivés des ressources biologiques. À cet égard, la biologie de synthèse réfère aux caractéristiques d’un domaine dérivé de la biologie qui s’est développé au cours des trente dernières années grâce aux progrès de la génétique appliquée et de la bio-ingénierie. Certains prédisent que l'économie future sera principalement une bioéconomie basée sur ces techniques émergentes, lesquelles sont cohérentes avec la décarbonisation de notre économie. Nous décrivons d’abord la réalité internationale de la « Révolution Bio » et tentons d’évaluer la position du Québec. Par la suite, nous présentons des politiques de soutien à la bioéconomie de diverses juridictions. Une étude de cas d’une entreprise de Montréal nous permet de mettre en évidence les problèmes auxquels elle a dû faire face pour attirer le capital financier nécessaire à sa croissance. Outre le financement, un autre enjeu critique dans le domaine est la montée en charge (scalability en anglais) des processus de transformation. Nous explorons davantage cet enjeu en agro-technologie, secteur à haut potentiel mais dont la réalisation comporte plusieurs défis socio-économiques. Cette analyse sert de toile de fond à nos recommandations qui portent sur l'élaboration d'une feuille de route pour le soutien gouvernemental à la biologie de synthèse.
