Abstract:
Objectives: To correlate the serum Ferritin level, hemoglobin concentration and red blood cell indices among blood donors. Material and Methods: This is prospective, cross-sectional analytical study. Conducted in Wad-Madani central blood bank, Gezira state from July to December 2020. Venous blood samples were taken from 140 donors. The blood samples were investigated for various haematological parameters on a fully automated haematology analyzer (Sysmex xp-300). Serum Ferritin was estimated using chemical analyzer (A15). Results: The mean value of serum Ferritin was found to be (141.46 ±97.85)
